Welcome to our family-friendly accommodation for 3-4 people. It is located close to the edge of the forest and is the ideal starting point for hiking or cycling trips to "Kroppacher Schweiz" and with connection (1 km) to the Westerwaldsteig. Two playgrounds are not far away and there is plenty to discover, e.g. Hachenburg (4 km) with the historic market square, the Marienstatt Abbey with monastery garden & brewery, the Westerwald lake district, Bad Marienberg with climbing and zoo.

Vacation room "Bat Cave" in the beautiful Gelbachtal

Our children have now flown the nest and we don't want to share the beautiful home with just the bats. We live in the romantic Gelbachtal between Westerwald and Taunus. Hikers and cyclists have now discovered the great location of the place. Our peaceful Gelbach flows into the Lahn very close by. Not far away are the towns of Nassau and Bad Ems (Bad Emser thermal baths only 20 minutes away). Our place is located on beautiful footpaths and bike paths.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. In the middle of the beautiful city of Boppard, you can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace overlooking the rooftops of the city before exploring one of the numerous hiking and cycling tours. The apartment is newly renovated and modernly furnished. A sofa bed offers additional sleeping options. Day ticket parking in the immediate vicinity of the apartment: 6 euros

Im Pferdestall -Tür an Tür mit Huhn und Pferd

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

A place to stay for yourself. There are many destinations, here in the village there are 2 bakeries and restaurants/snack bar. Supermarkets can be reached in a few minutes by car and on foot. Arrival by bus and train is possible. The 1930s villa is located directly on the beautiful Münzbach and offers a view of the vineyards of Bacharach. Apartment 1 is on the raised ground floor. The apartment welcomes you with its unique style of the thirties: high ceilings, stucco elements and a beautiful wooden floor. In addition, modern and contemporary furnishings await you. The center of Bacharach is within minutes walking distance.

Our house is situated in a small place in the Westerwald, where you can relax and switch off from your everyday worries. Our apartment is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Westerwald lake district, to animal parks or to the city of Koblenz, which can be reached in 20 minutes by car. In general, we have plenty of hiking trails, lots of nature and good air!
