Vacation room "Bat Cave" in the beautiful Gelbachtal

Our children have now flown the nest and we don't want to share the beautiful home with just the bats. We live in the romantic Gelbachtal between Westerwald and Taunus. Hikers and cyclists have now discovered the great location of the place. Our peaceful Gelbach flows into the Lahn very close by. Not far away are the towns of Nassau and Bad Ems (Bad Emser thermal baths only 20 minutes away). Our place is located on beautiful footpaths and bike paths.

Unsere frisch renovierte Ferienwohnung liegt sehr zentral in Geisenheim, nur 1 Minute vom Rhein und dem Geisenheimer Dom entfernt. Ideal für 1–2 Personen. Die Wohnung verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, Fußbodenheizung und elektrische Rollläden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und der Rhein sind fußläufig erreichbar. Jeden Freitag findet der Wochenmarkt direkt am Domplatz statt – perfekter Ausgangspunkt für einen Aufenthalt im Rheingau.

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

The apartment welcomes you with its unique style of the thirties: high ceilings, stucco elements and a beautiful wooden floor. In addition, modern and contemporary furnishings await you. The center of Bacharach is within minutes walking distance.

It has a fully equipped kitchen with a large counter. All rooms have free Wi-Fi. It also has a flat-screen TV and cable connection. The apartment has a balcony overlooking nature. Our house is situated in a small place in the Westerwald, where you can relax and switch off from your everyday worries. Our apartment is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Westerwald lake district, to animal parks or to the city of Koblenz, which can be reached in 20 minutes by car. In general, we have plenty of hiking trails, lots of nature and good air!

The price of the apartment is based on occupancy by 1 person. Each additional person pays an additional €15. Parking is available. The bikes can be stored in a garage.
