Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rhode Island

We stayed at this rental for the week of our honey moon. The second we pulled into the drive way the house exceeded any expectations we had. The house was super clean, comfortable, left stocked with things for the beach, pack and play, everything you could ever need- they thought of it. The host was super responsive and helpful with everything. We can’t wait until next summer to rent again! But this time for sure longer! My large family group, including a somewhat disabled mother-in-law, appreciated the stay as we celebrated a son's graduation! It did get cozy when the entire group was present but we all fit and the beds/couches were clean and comfortable! It was so nice to be able to get together with family at this very special occasion. Thomas was a very accomodating host. There is a large condo complex next door but very quiet. The street neighborhood is quiet and lovely! We enjoyed the lighthouse view!

Three of us stayed here during reunion. Very nice, cozy place. At the end of a street, so very tranquil. The house is comfortably furnished and well stocked. The hosts are very sweet and super responsive - they would even have brought us doughnuts, but we declined. Snacks and some basics in the fridge when we got in. Very nice tv in the living room with Roku. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home!! Plan on coming back to Newport and if this home is available we will definitely stay here!

This is our second stay at Courtenay's historic home. As she describes - it's an old home with the idiosyncracies of a home with over 200 years of history. It is a spacious home with lovely furnishings. Kitchen has all you'll need. The area can't be beat if you are visiting Providence and/or Brown University. We were lucky enough to book her house during our son's graduation and could walk up the hill to the campus in 5 minutes. Courtenay is always responsive and flexible. We will stay there again!

Our stay here was wonderful! The home was clean, had comfortable beds and had a charming feel to it. I felt it was a great location with easy access into town. The host was very responsive and lovely to communicate with! If we ever return to Newport we would certainly stay here again.

Very cozy, clean place! When you’re inside the apartment, you wouldn’t know you were right near the 95 freeway :) very nicely and generously appointed! Francis was very responsive, flexible and accommodating to my plans, which were a bit up in the air.

The place was easy to find, clean, and Luis had left clear instructions for check in and check out. Would definitely stay again if I am in the area.

This place is fantastic for large parties. We were a bit disappointed to only find 4 actual bedrooms, but there were more than enough beds so we could make do. The location is awesome and the bar is very loud, but it was exactly what we needed for the weekend and had a great time.

Tom and Cindi were delightful hosts and thier property was immaculate! I especially liked that they didn't use heavily perfumed cleaners and the apartment smelled clean without a hint of chemicals, excellent for my allergies. It was a peaceful, quiet stay only steps away from the wonderful waterfront. If I return to this area I would definately return to Tom and Cindi's!

We had a great MDW at Paul’s apartment. It was in a perfect location — walkable to Thames St. but also in a quiet area near King Park with beautiful water views and a great playground for our little one. Ideal location to start 10 mile drive and easy access to the Breakers and other mansions. The apartment is clean and neat and the fireplace was cozy for cooler temperatures at night. Of note, there are only sheer curtains on the windows and apartment gets very bright when the sun rises early. Paul has sleep masks in the closet and you may very well need them if you don’t want to wake up at sunrise!

Mathews unit was wonderfully located a quick walk to the main downtown area and conveniently located next to Nitro bar, a convenient store, and a handful of delicious restaurants. The unit was very clean upon arrival, stocked with toiletries, coffee, etc. Our stay was comfortable and well worth the price of our stay. We would definitely recommend staying at Matthew’s to anyone coming to explore Newport!
