This unique place has a style all its own. Recently updated, the Blue Maiden was built in 1880 as a home to the servants who worked in the mansions prevalent in Farrington's Grove. She is 1.4 miles from downtown and ISU campus, between two hospitals, and convenient to St. Mary of the Woods College, IVY Tech and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. She is close to I-70, one block from US 41, and maintains many of her original Victorian charms. She is less than 5 miles from the new casino!

I found this space to be comfortable, clean, and convenient. It strikes a tone of quiet country simplicity—a good place to relax in a removed but not remote farmhouse setting. It is well furnished with thoughtful touches—such as device-charge cables and a fully-stocked coffee machine—all of which met my needs with no undue complications. This was perfect for our family trip with two toddlers. The house was clean, well-kept, and within good distance from the places we needed to go. The host provided a lovely guestbook with tips on where to go. The bedrooms are the only private spaces in the house, as the kitchen, living room, and dining area are all one big area—which was fine for us, as it was all about family time. If we return, we will definitely book with Cheyenne again.

This was the perfect getaway for our anniversary! Very calm, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub. Everything was as expected, however if you have back issues, the bed may be a little uncomfortable. Overall, it was an excellent experience!
