Villa holiday rentals in Rio Marina

Pictures don’t do this house justice. It is a gorgeous private house with a dramatically beautiful driveway entrance. We were worried about heat and mosquitos as we arrived in mid July but were happy that the house stays cool and there were little to no mosquitos. Marco is a responsive and helpful host. The house is very near the beach and all the best of Marina Di Campo. The outdoor shower surrounded by hedges was like a movie set. The bathrooms are clean and both have showers. We hope to return again!

We spent 2 great weeks with 4 adults and 2 girls in the house. Our 3 dogs were able to stay safely in the garden. Beach, restaurants and grocery store were within walking distance. Overall, we didn't miss anything in the house. The view of the bay of Sant'Andrea inspired us every day.

Our holiday in Parrini’s house was just perfect! The house has a great location: less than 4km from the charming city of Portoferraio but the only thing you hear when sitting in the garden is birds singing and a 360 degrees view on the lovely Tuscan hills. The house has a great garden and terraces on 2 sides. It also is fully enclosed with a fence and beautiful olive trees. This place was paradise for our 2 dogs. The house itself is very clean and well organized. The host was very helpfull when we had questions or needed anything. Within a 10min drive you can find a dozen of the most beautiful beaches of the Island. We’ll be back!

Edoardo and his family were extremely kind, pleasant and helpful hosts. The location of the apartment is just fantastic! You can reach a beautiful beach in three minutes (by walk!). You could ask Edoardo anything and he was always very polite and helpful. We were certainly not the last time there!

The path to the village goes steeply uphill, but with some fitness in 15 minutes. Very nice view of the sea, the tranquility is wonderful. You have to bring your own bed linens, etc.! The landlord is very friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful time! The surroundings are picturesque, you can look out to the sea and the Procchio Bay from your own terrace. Umberto's parents live right next door and take touching care! We were repeatedly provided with little things and invited to wine and cheese in the evening. The kitchen is scarce and has no oven, but that was completely sufficient for our purposes. We spent two weeks without a car, you can reach the bus in less than 10 minutes walk and the first swimming beach in 20 minutes. The stop is about 30 meters of altitude and the water is 60 meters lower than the apartment. The fact that we didn't travel by car seemed to be a rarity.

First of all, let's start with the people....Mrs. Silvana and her husband are two fantastic people, they welcomed us and made us feel at home, they were always available for every need. The house matches the description and photos posted, but when you enter, you breathe in the love and passion with which it was built. Both the structural part and the furnishings are of a high standard, the kitchen is very well stocked and the textiles are also of high quality... the mattresses are also top-notch... we slept very well! We particularly appreciated the private bathroom in each room, which guaranteed privacy from the other couples, but at the same time the living area and the large garden allowed us to spend time together. The house is located 1 minute from the sea and the host provided us with sunbeds, deckchairs and umbrellas, and also provided us with various directions to restaurants and places to visit. We will definitely be back because we felt at home!

The terrace and view are truly magnificent. The house is lovely, featuring a main floor with a living room, an open kitchen, a toilet, and a small bedroom for one person. On the second floor, there are three bedrooms (one of which is a small room for one person), a bathroom with a bathtub, and another bathroom with a shower. Only two of the second-floor bedrooms have air conditioning. Additionally, there is a laundry room and a separate garage. We didn’t use the garage, as street parking is usually available. The garage opens onto a busy street, making parking challenging, and the garage access involves climbing a spiral staircase, which is not ideal for carrying luggage or shopping. The beach is about a 15-minute walk or a 2-minute drive away. The place is beautiful, the host is very responsive, and I highly recommend it.

Deborah was an excellent host! Very accommodating. She welcomed us with a large fruit bowl and wine as well as drinks. And there was also a farewell gift! Very touching! We felt very comfortable at the place and had a priceless view of the sea. Grazie!

Our family of nine (including a toddler) had a fantastic time at Alex’s place. She was a super responsive host and replied immediately to any questions we had. In particular, we loved the absolute serenity of the location and the beautiful setting. The infinity pool was a hit with everyone. We had so much fun building a fire in the pizza oven and creating our own pizzas together. Suvereto is a lovely little town with excellent restaurant choices and very few tourists. (Try Cio Cio - delicious food and wonderful service). The house had all the necessary amenities (always appreciate a well equipped kitchen) and the rooms were all cool and comfortable in the heat. The comfortable lounge area on the side of the house saw a lot of use. For foreigners- the garbage system is a little confusing- ask Alex at the start of your stay how to deal with that. The photos don’t reveal how truly beautiful this location was. Highly recommend!

When we come back to Italy, we will be reaching out to Carola again and stay at her place. The accommodations we fantastic.

The villa we stayed in was extremely comfortable, well equipped and clean. Equipped with a large living area and an outdoor area ideal for us who had two children who could play freely in the courtyard and garden. Also, having lunch outside under a large porch was really a great condition. The parking space inside the property, the proximity to the sea and downtown with its amenities ( supermarket, pharmacy, pizzeria, ...) have made our vacation perfect. Mr. Alessandro was an attentive host, extremely courteous and helpful.

A place of unparalleled beauty & serenity. It exceeded our expectations. My family and friends all had an amazing time at villa Giuliana.

We had wonderful holidays in Alessandro's beautiful villa. It is a very charming house that has met our taste. A house with character, close to the beach yet only minutes away from a bar, restaurant and grocery store. Perfect!

It was fantastically beautiful in the accommodation. The house, the location, the small bay was very special, an oasis, a small paradise. We thought it was great that you can only get there on foot. We like this. We loved the outdoor shower. You can get anywhere on the island quickly. But you don't even to leave. We also loved the small hikes. We stayed in this special house as a family with 10 adults and 1 dog. Each has their own room including bathroom. The house is just as special as it shows in the pictures! It was very clean, cozy , spacious and perfect to be together, private and quiet. The kitchen is generously equipped. 3 cars can easily park in the yard. The view from the terraces is a dream! It is completely fenced which was great for our dog to walk around and is just a 3 minute walk from a beautiful sandy beach with rocks. Porto Azzuro is only 15 minutes away by car and was our favorite town for shopping and restaurant visits. Nadia welcomed us warmly at the house. Unfortunately, she doesn't speak English but that was somehow no problem- She is a very friendly person!

Beautiful house in the hills. Absolut privat place with a clean and modern house. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything to start in the holiday's. The large terasse is covered and perfect for a beautiful evening. With bike or car you can reach the city in 2 minutes. The marina has a variety of restaurants and bars directly at the sea.

We had a really wonderful stay at Petra’s house. Everything was as described, clean and super beautiful. The communication was proactive and very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be back :)

Marta and her husband are true loves. We had a car breakdown and our vehicle remained immobilized on the island. They drove us shopping, brought us back to the boat. They were very helpful with the garage. Very accommodating. Regarding the listing, it is as described. It is pleasant, well-equipped. The view is splendid. Access to the freshwater swimming pool, sea and sea are very easy. Thank you so much for everything. We will be back again.

If you dreamt of the perfect Tuscany stay, this is it. The house is absolutely stunning. From most of the patios, you can see diverse views of the landscape - mountains, plains, and the sea beyond. There are so many windows and doors to let in the fresh air, every room has access to outside so no matter which bedroom you get, you’re content. Another favorite of the house is the well stocked kitchen, where we spent much of our time cooking. And in the evenings, theres hundreds of fireflies dancing in the field, which we really enjoyed observing. Beyond the beauty of the house, we felt the space was comfortable enough to fit our group of 11. Just to note a few minor things about the house - the mattresses were a bit firm. A couple of the evenings there was a strange fish smell in the dining room, but it was gone by morning. Also, it was not unusual to find bugs inside the house. This is natural, since there are so many accesses to the building. Overall, we really loved our stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Veronica's place. The location is exceptional for us: Porto Azzurro is within walking distance and the house is an ideal starting point for excursions in the surrounding mountains. The property itself is spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful and spacious terrace with a grill area. The kitchen is well-equipped. Veronica was very nice and approachable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We can highly recommend this place, and were happy to come back.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Bacci! The house and especially the phenomenal view are unique. A place where you can switch off and spend time with friends and family. The pool makes the house even more amazing. We will be happy to come back.

This spacious and stylish house has an unimaginably beautiful location. 3 bedrooms upstairs, one with private and two with shared toilet/bathroom, partly with balcony. 1 room downstairs with private toilet/bathroom and another room with 2 beds with access from the kitchen. We only used this room as a pantry - the kitchen is not particularly large, especially the work surfaces are very small. But it has everything you'll need. Large common rooms, with possibility to fire up the fireplace. Well-functioning gas grill with iron plate outside, two covered seats, two sun decks, rather small pool with great views, laundry room and large forecourt. The driveway is a bit adventurous - I don't know if our sprinter would have mastered the steep dirt road without 4x4. In Magazzini there is an extremely good diving school (Unica Diving) and a good restaurant. Shopping 5 min by car, 15 min to Portoferraio. Very good communication with landlord and Sergio comes immediately!
