My place is a wooden house built by local carpenters with local timber. We use 100% renewable energy and even the waste is off grid. Situated in our 2 acre garden in a residential neighbourhood, opposite the pine forest. You can walk to the village for boulangerie and restaurants. We are 15 min from the Atlantic beaches of Contis. You can walk to the shops of Rion des Landes (supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, newsstand...) The ocean is a 30-minute drive, the Arjuzanx site (lake and nature reserve) is 12 minutes, Dax (spa town, casino...) is 25 minutes. Biarritz and Biscarosse are less than 1 hour away.
