This is a gorgeous, light and airy double-height loft in the middle of Glastonbury. The staircase into the open space makes it not ideal for toddlers. It's a great place to explore the town from and retreat to when you need a respite from the rigours of the aptly named High Street. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

‘Ley Rustique’ is a bit like a shepherd’s hut but without the wheels. We’ve tried to squeeze all the essentials into this tiny house to make it as self contained as possible. NB The bathroom has a simple compost toilet Situated in a charming nook nestling beneath Chalice Hill in a private close just off Chilkwell Street, 2 minutes from the Chalice Well and the bottom of Glastonbury Tor.
