Apartment holiday rentals in River Forest

This was my second time staying in Matt’s home. It is clean, comfortable, beautifully appointed and has many extras that make you feel ‘ at home’. I’ll be looking here 1st for my next trip to the Oak Park area. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

It was really pleasant stay. It was just 30 minutes away from downtown which made our travel hassle free. Also, it had free parking which is a bonus. We loved the stay and definitely recommended.

Just wonderful. That was one of the most beautiful accommodations I've ever been to. The apartment is totally lovingly furnished. Everything was super clean and tidy. There are even toothbrushes, toothpaste and a sleeping mask, if you need them. The kitchen is also super equipped with everything you need. The short walk to the metro was also very convenient. We would definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place! Very comfortable accommodations. Megan is an excellent host and curated her space carefully to make sure the guests feel right at home. The location was absolutely perfect.. walking distance to many things in the oak park neighborhood including the green line which is two blocks away. If you love historic architecture and preservation, then this is the neighborhood to be in. We would definitely stay here again!

Kettil and Caroline’s place was perfect for a quick trip! We felt right at home in this vintage house. The only thing to note is that the driveway is pretty narrow and the neighbor left their car in the way not leaving us much room to go around it leaving and entering so be careful as to not scrape the rocks on the ground. The kids enjoyed the piano and tv room and we liked the eccentric artwork. Overall I would recommend this place!

Best Airbnb ever that we’ve stayed in. Super clean, everything looked brand new. Caroline gave us Helpful information and places to eat at. Are son loved so much, he wanted to stay longer there. We had everything we needed. The rooms were bigger then what it seem in the pictures. We had a great time !

Wow. Just absolutely WOW! This place is a true little oasis. The backyard was wonderful and whimsical. It really was a highlight of my stay! The shower was spacious and luxurious and there was TONS of closet space. Lastly, the bed was exceptionally comfortable with very soft sheets! I would return again and again! Definitely try Amerikas and check out the farmers market on Saturday mornings while you're in the area!

The airbnb was such a cozy environment and honestly I was a little sad to leave it. It really started to feel like home after staying for 2 weeks. Aldo was a wonderful host and answered any questions I had very quickly. He was very kind and accommodating with any questions that I had. I 100% recommend and hope this place is available the next time I visit!

Lisa was a fantastic host. She was prompt in responding, provided clear instructions, and hosted us in a spacious and clean property. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to visiting Chicago again.

This is a return trip to Janet's place, a lovely location and easy access to our family's home in Oak Park. We are very comfortable there and likely to return.

This was a great location for walkable access to downtown Oak Park and the El. Jeff was also an extremely helpful and responsive host! He accommodated an early check-in and was very quick to help us out when we had troubles initially getting into the unit. The space was perfect for our weekend visiting friends in the area!

We are 3 friends from Indiana we came to enjoy the Art Institute Frida Khalo show and the Our Lady Architecture river boat tour. The house was a wonderful accommodation for us. We particularly loved the outdoor living space where we drank our coffee and listened to the birds in the morning. It was a warm welcoming garden and the twinning roses smelled amazing. Beds are comfortable. Lots of living space to spread out in. Pro tip the Red Bottle and Blue Fire restaurant cocktail bar combo was lovely and delicious. Many thanks to our accommodating host.

Chris and Preeti’s place was the perfect getaway spot for me and my partner on his birthday weekend! The loft is a bright, homey and beautifully decorated, and we loved the downtime we had there to read, have breakfast and sample from the super fun VHS collection. We were also really impressed by their local guidebook, which pointed us to some of our favorite meals and experiences of the trip! The neighborhood is peaceful and very green, walkable to buses, and Chris and Preeti were hugely helpful, communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend and hope we can come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tree Top View. It was comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed and then some! Lots of little extras that made us feel very welcome. The location was convenient and in a beautiful neighborhood that we enjoyed walking in. Haviva was the best host! She was alway quick to respond when I had questions and provided very helpful info. If we ever return to Chicago, we would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed on the third floor of the complex and enjoyed Matthew's attention to detail. He gave a lot of thought to all components of his property.

Run, don't walk, to book this location for your Chicago stay. The view of the Chicago skyline is perfect, even better than if you stayed in Downtown itself, sometimes all you see is the wall of another building and no view. The instructions how to get there are very clear, if you're a little intimidated like I was about going to a big city never fear. The instructions are clear, easy to follow, and transit is close by to take you wherever you want to go. Overall great trip, thank you!

We came for our daughter’s graduation and stayed a few extra days to tour the city. This place was perfectly located for both occasions. It was much more spacious than we expected, and everything was very clean. We especially appreciated the fresh towels and beddings. Our only wish is that the beds were a bit larger, especially the double bed, which would be more comfortable for a couple if it were at least a queen size. That said, the beds were very comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay - definitely one of our best Airbnb experiences!

Perfect weeklong stay in Chicago! The apartment is well equipped and makes you feel right at home. The building is connected via sky bridge to Jewel making it easy to grab groceries. The location cannot be beat - easy access to West Loop, Wicker Park, River North. The hosts were fantastic and flexible with our check in times. Looking forward to coming back!

We stayed with my family for 3 days n loved the place it's ambience, cleanliness, very well equipped with all the necessities.....this place definitely feels like home and the hosts are very kind and quick with there response. Wherever in future I am coming to chicago shall book this place.

David and his co-host were excellent. Our family enjoyed our stay. We used to live in the Bronzeville area and love the new additions to the neighborhood. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

SPECTACULAR!! This space is how you should visit Chicago. Breath taking views from this 33rd floor luxury penthouse apartment lives up to the hype. Our family of six were extremely comfortable in this 3 bedroom/3 bath unit. And for a person that likes cooking, the kitchen is spacious. Don’t pass on seeing Chicago from the views in this beautiful apartment.

Sentral worked great for us going to a graduation for a long weekend. Unit is exactly as described, modern, and clean. Kitchen utensils are reasonable while shelves and refrig are empty save for some coffee so if going to cook/eat be sure to bring everything such as butter, spices, etc. - a Trader Joes is 3 blocks away. Price is not cheap but is very convenient and easy so on balance okay for us. Front desk is very helpful and cheerful.
