Monthly Rentals in River Nene

Immaculate property, extremely clean and fresh throughout. Quality sofas, bed, brand new carpets throughout high end furnishing, towels etc. personally for us would have preferred the key left in lock box, felt strange knowing owner on site, meant we didn’t feel as relaxed. The rule of not eating at all in lounge a huge problem for us, as never experienced this. A dining table in lounge would have been a great idea. I felt this made us naughty even to eat a snack was wrong in the lounge. Didn’t feel like a home comfort, made us feel on edge. Pillows soft feather, extreme high quality but sadly gave us both neck ache. Bedding & towels smelt divine! Breakfast included on listing was a little vague so didn’t know what it entailed fully. We received 2x pastry on arrival, small 1/2 loaf sourdough, cereal, butter & jam portions, tea, coffee and milk. I wasn’t sure if more pastries would be arrive each morning as we stayed 3 nights, but didn’t. Enjoyed stay overall. Thanks. Beautiful home!

Christina was very helpful and responsive to my queries as an airbnb newbie. The instructions for checking in were a cinch to follow; I found the place no problem and was in within 2 minutes. A lovely, spacious place, very clean and plenty of stuff in the house to make my weekend feel at home. A comfortable bed and roomy bathroom with wetroom/shower were a godsend and everything worked without issue. I was at an event in the town so it was easy to get from the bnb to the venue. Its a lovely area with superb countryside around and lovely architecture in the town - a great place to stay! Just up the street there is a Co-op to pick up a few essentials. I was staying on my own but up to five could easily manage with a sofabed, single and double. Upstairs is only one roomy bedroom divided by an open bookshelf to make two spaces (though not private) for the single and double beds. Again, dead easy to checkout. A lovely place to stay in a pleasant part of the world.

Ruth's place was the perfect spot for our weekend away. Great location, easy access to the A1, pub next door and several walks on the doorstep. The annexe is very well equipped and Ruth has thought of all the extras that make the stay a real home from home and great if you've forgotten to bring anything. The private garden is lovely, even in January and a wonderful spot to watch the birds come and go. Ruth's breakfast supplies are generous and we loved how she checked in with us beforehand to find out our preferences. A fabulous find!

Third stay, that speaks for itself. Perfect location, central but hidden away. I just love the apartment, feels homely, quirky, individual. Always very special/ memorable staying there.
