Holiday rentals with beach access in River Tees

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment with an amazing sea view. Everything was clean, modern, and exactly as described. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Mark was a great host – very friendly and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely break in Saltburn but Peter’s place absolutely made it for us. Even though it is a huge apartment, it felt cosy. The beds were so comfortable. And a well equipped kitchen. We loved enjoying a morning coffee taking in the view, and my nephew enjoyed beating everyone at air hockey! Highly recommend Peter’s accommodation, and we’ll definitely be back.

The apartment was perfect in size and location for the things we wanted to see in and around South Shields. The coastline is beautiful, walk to Marsden Grotto along the coast took about 1 1/2 hrs with amazing birdlife (bus back) Foot ferry over to North Shields, bus and Metro ticket good, St Mary’s Lighthouse a must , check tide times. Tyne Mouth a special place with Priory and spectacular views .Roman Fort next to the Apartment a hidden gem and free. Sadly some of South Shields needs a Spruce up like so many places on our Coastline. Elaine is a lovely host.

Was a beautiful stay for myself and children, stunning views which the children were obsessed with. Entertainment on site, lovely beach too. Always something to do. Great hosts with communication. Very quick to respond and so helpful.

The Guest Place was a lovely place to stay, perfectly appointed (with a really comfy bed!), spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous street. Walking distance to amenities and the beach too. Ann was a great host, communicated regularly and made me feel really welcome. I hope to stay again!

Excellent stay. The house was immaculate and had a lovely home from home feel. It was comfortable and well equipped. One of our party was disabled so the bedroom on the ground floor and accessible shower/wc room worked very well. Location was good for exploring nearby Saltburn and the coast.

Owners where extremely helpful and accommodating. Property was exactly like described, infact was even better than the pictures. Very clean and tidy, you can tell this is taken care of. Thankyou for having us, will definitely be booking again

Exactly what it says on the tin! Great house with 3 good bedrooms and two sofa beds. The hot tub was the highlight of the visit for sure, and the kitchen was also very handy. The sauna was really good for drying up after getting out of the tub.

Joanne is a fabulous host. She was both responsive and helpful. When one of us had an accident requiring hospital treatment she was at pains to do anything to assist. The house was immaculate, parking easy and location perfect for ice-cream and restaurants. The beds were super comfortable . Everything was provided for a great holiday. The neighbourhood is modern, clean and quiet. Highly recommend staying here.

Angie's place was great for us not one for cooking, theirs a nice pub 5 minute walk down the road with good food, plenty around that area. it was nice clean will try and use it again if in the area, thanks again for letting us stay.

Josh's house was lovely- lots of space and thoughtfully well-equipped. Josh was great at keeping in touch and ensuring we had a good stay. It was warm and comfortable and we would definitely return to such a special place.

This is my second visit to Elizabeth's home. A stunning home which I'm sure doubles as a TARDIS. The exterior seems like your usual terraced home, until you enter and the home just keeps going. The two bathrooms are huge and spacious. The bedrooms all double sized with extremely comfortable beds. Seriously we can not fault this home. ideally located for the shops, the main street, Tommy statue and the abundance of beaches. Thank you again for a wonderful, comfortable stay. We will be back.

This was my first stay at Roker apartments and it mot disappoint! It was spotless, we were well informed every step of the way, Ivan is a fantastic host and nothing is too trouble, I really hope this apartment is available on my next trip to roker!

A lovely little flat, full of character. The clear instructions and photos made it easy to get in. We felt right at home and slept very well in the very comfortable bed. Thank you for having us Deb.

John was very responsive and instructions were clear. The apartment is on the third floor(staircase only) of a beautiful sea frontage character building which overlooks the promenade and lighthouse. There is a lovely park next door which was a great early morning walk as well. Restaurants , bars all nearby but area very quiet during our stay. The apartment was well fitted out, great kitchen, and comfortable beds. Definitely recommend this stay

My husband and I were visiting my son, daughter in law and their 5 month old baby who live in Heaton. My niece was with us from Canada so we wanted somewhere comfortable, with plenty to do and easy access to our son’s home. This property was the first one I looked at. It exceeded our expectations, we loved the location, parking pass provided for the weekend. Views from rooms front and back are spectacular. We especially liked walking into Tynemouth, such a lovely place with lots of cafes, restaurants and coffee shops plus independent shops which is always nice to see. As I stated before we all enjoyed the indoor market. We had a lovely weekend.

I had a wonderful experience in this penthouse with a sea view. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, and the view is absolutely stunning. The interior is modern, clean, and very comfortable. Ideal for relaxation, peace, and special moments. I would definitely come back!

Sara's place is a nice place to stay very handy for town and funicular down to or up from pier and front.Saltburn is a quaint place to stay for a few days,a number of nice places to eat and drink.

Lovely clean and well presented accommodating including a well stocked biscuit tin. Kitchen was very clean and as was the rest of the flat and the flat and the walk-in shower/bathroom was very easy as was the shower, with great water pressure. Finally, all within a stones throw of a host of restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at Mandy’s place. It was a short walk to restaurants/pubs/the coast. There was also a little convenience store less than five minutes from the flat (Spar). If we return to South Shields, we will definitely try to book here again.
