Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rockbridge County

A very nice and unique experience! The place had plenty of space for all of us, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We were lucky enough to spot a couple of deer, which made the stay even more special

The other reviews I read for this stay were completely accurate. At a time when many Airbnb's feel like mini Ikea showrooms and are managed nicely, but coldly, this place was the opposite. It truly felt like staying in a real home and being warmly welcomed. Anne was terrific. I asked if it was possible to have flowers delivered ahead of time. She understandably said no, because no-one is there to receive them. Instead, she left us flowers from her own garden. Great place, the best host!

We absolutely loved Jill’s place! It is clear that she is a host who has anticipated her guests’ needs. The kitchen had everything we needed for family meals! The whole house was so peaceful, and the surrounding views were incredible! It was just a short drive into town, making the location private while also convenient. We felt so sad to leave because our stay was so wonderful! We would highly recommend Jill’s place, and I hope we’ll have another opportunity to stay here!

Such a peaceful and beautiful property. It was the perfect setting for my large family to celebrate graduation. The homes kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. Great entertaining spaces on the deck with a view.

The location was perfect for our needs. The house is close to downtown, the neighborhood is quiet, and we felt very comfortable in the home. We would definitely rent the house again when we return.

Rebecca’s place was a perfect stop for our family of four during our road trip. We were very comfortable and the home was the perfect size for us. She set up the space so thoughtfully with snacks, coffee and tea, and even some food items for breakfast/ quick meals. The air conditioners worked perfectly during the unusually hot weather and she even came to the rescue, drying our clothes for us at the last minute when the dryer in the unit unexpectedly went out. She’s an amazing host!

This place in the mountains is BEAUTIFUL! I wanted to stay longer. I was there for my graduation from Liberty University. It was about an hour away, but it worked for me because the property was large enough to house all of my family and friends. Jennifer was VERY responsive. The kitchen was amazing. There is a Food Lion about 6 minutes away down the hill, and restaurants. My grandsons and niece loved the outdoor play area. My husband loved the fire pit. I loved sitting on the porch on the swing. We LOVED that there were plenty of outlets! THANK YOU for hosting us! We will be back! Dr. Beth Dickens & Family

Great location for very large groups. We had five couples and April's AirBnb was just perfect for our needs. Every room was very nicely decorated and super clean. Our family loved being able to spread out in our own rooms and also hang out in the great room together. Thank you for the great space!

The Airbnb was even better than we expected! It was very cozy, spacious, clean, and decorated well. It was also in such a convenient location to restaurants, bars and stores. Can’t recommend enough to anyone traveling to Lexington!

This place is so lovely! The pictures do not do it justice. It is a huge, peaceful apartment with a living room, separate kitchen, and separate bedroom, plus a beautiful balcony...steps away from all the restaurants on Main street. Will only stay here whenever I'm back in Lexington!

I was greated when I arrived with the most delicious chocolate chip cookies. What a great surprise! The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well (which generally, I don't) so that says I was able to really relax and sink into the rest I needed. The space is just right for one person, and possibly two people depending on those people's preferences. The Hosts were very interactive and I was grateful to find a just right place to lay my head while visiting the area.

Such a beautiful and comfortable home away from home! We loved the convenience to Downtown Lexington, and the home could not have been more perfect! Comfortable, beautifully decorated, and all the extras made it so wonderful. We loved the screened in porch, fire pit, and the views across the street. The host is very responsive and friendly! Wonderful place to stay in Lexington! Everything is extremely walkable. The kitchen is definitely a full kitchen with all the amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable. Absolutely love the place and really enjoyed being there for my daughter’s graduation from law school!
