Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rognac

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

The beautiful room with outdoor kitchen and outdoor dining room had everything it needed for relaxing days. A fragrant, tasteful bedroom with good Bed and beautiful linen, a wonderful covered and well-kept dining area with outdoor kitchen, functionally furnished. A large pool, always available and larger than in the pictures, wonderful in hot temperatures after an excursion - and even illuminated at night. A central location to explore Provence and the Camargue, on an absolutely private and large estate with the landlady Marie Agnes and her discreet family. In a quiet, friendly and pleasant way, Marie Agnes read our every wish from our eyes and gave good tips for the area. Beautiful bird and frog concert in the evening. Virginie and her son Loch are fantastic hosts!!! Both are very committed to the well-being of their guests. We were asked several times if everything was okay, if we needed anything. She immediately sent good information ... great ice cream shop in Miramas le Vieux, markets, ... To welcome us, a bottle of regional wine (very, very tasty ... we took some bottles from the winery) and water was cooled and ready. Virginie is very attentive and yet respectful of the privacy of her guests. The house itself is equipped with everything you need and lovingly furnished. The pictures speak for themselves. It was also great to cool off in the pool after a long day. The location is in an absolutely quiet residential area and yet you can reach Aix-en-Provence, Marseille (a ride on the Train Bleu from Miramas is recommended), the Étang de Berre, ... The accommodation offered by Alice was perfect for calm, rest in the middle of the olive trees, for the amenities and supplies and the house is large with large bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen/living room and terrace, and very secure with roller shutters at each window and door. Communication with Alice was very easy and friendly.

A perfect place to hide away in plain view in Provence. Right in the middle of the stunning town of Menerbes. Steps away from all the restaurants and the curated epicerie. Although pricey, definitely worth it. Maison O was exactly how we imagined it to be. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Beds extremely comfortable and bathrooms with excellent showers which were definitely needed since the day time temperature never went below 30 for the whole week. Apropos that. A little more shade for the terrace would have been much appreciated. Although there is no AC the interior rooms stayed coolish if all doors and windows were kept closed. The whole experience was fabulous. Our favourite evening activity after the heat of the mid day was a stroll to Cafe Progres, purchasing an Apéritif and sitting on their terrace overlooking the valley. A light breeze to cool us down and a chat with the locals. It really was the quintessential experience in Provence. We would not hesitate to return.

Paulina’s house is amazing. So peaceful lovely nature around. A swimming pool in the garden The house is beautifully decorated with amazing furniture ,nice bed. A nice morning walk of 1 hour took us to the village where we had coffee.Great restaurants. Paulina is an amazing host. She has put a lot of effort in to make you feel right at home and a lot of info. about the area and surroundings . Would love to come back

We have never been so well received (in over 10 years of Airbnb)! The property is quiet, beautiful; the apartment very comfortable, impeccably clean, very well equipped; the pool super nice but above all, Marie-France, her husband and their grandchildren were of an unparalleled welcome, simplicity and kindness. A meeting that marked us and that makes us want to come back for longer :) Thanks again to everyone, young and old!

Bernadette and Damien were extremely welcoming and lovely. They have a beautiful house and garden that they have put lots of work into. We particularly enjoyed the pool and all of the outdoor seating areas. We would love to come back one day.

Pleasant accommodation for a week in Aix en Provence. Convenient and quiet location

Gino's apartment is impeccable and well furnished. Possibility to park your car in the private parking. Aldo just in front of the residence. You can book Gino's apartment with your eyes closed 👍

Lovely little place to stay if you are looking for a quiet getaway! Close to plenty of things to see and do, all within a 20ish minute walk. It was a very straightforward walk to and from the local train station. Fabienne provided plenty of bathroom supplies including sanitary products, a hair dryer and other amenities. Although the apartment at night was incredibly warm, as it is situated on the top floor, the cooling pad and fans definitely helped. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Nicolas gave us a warm welcome in his little Marseille paradise nestled in an alley overlooking the sea with, the icing on the cake, direct access to the beach. We will definitely come back to enjoy the calm, the sea view and the sweetness of life. Special mention for the fresh beers that awaited us on arrival.

Our stay at Anthony's went really well. We were greeted at the time indicated for our arrival very warmly. The apartment itself is very well equipped, comfortable, well located, quiet and the bedding impeccable (we slept very well). We recommend this property

We had a great week. Audrey is very welcoming, bubbly, and reachable at all times if needed. Regarding the apartment, I try to find something negative but I see nothing. It is extremely clean, it smells good when you enter, storage galore (which is rare), an ideal area for a couple or even 3 people and of course a view of the beautiful port accessible in 2 minutes on foot. In short, to be redone as soon as possible.

5 mins to the beach. It’s a very nice spot to sit by the water and enjoy. Host was there to greet us, walk us up and show the apartment.

We spent a great week in Gwendolin's beautiful and well-kept apartment and felt right at home. The quiet location within walking distance of the Vallon des Auffes and many beautiful bathing opportunities is perfect. We spent beautiful long evenings on the fantastic roof terrace and would have preferred not to leave at all. Gwendolin was always super easy to reach, flexible and helpful. We would recommend the place to anyone and come back anytime.

Admiring a magnificent sunset from the terrace overlooking a pond, a beautiful view and an extraordinary calm, that's what I keep in mind from my short stay in this beautiful, well-equipped and well-functioning apartment. Arrived at 2 a.m. with two small children, the welcome booklet sent by Alfred before arrival reassured me about the organization. The baby bed already prepared, the apartment that contains everything you need to stay there as a family and especially the calmness gave me good reason to choose this accommodation for my stay rather than going to the hotel.
