The skiing and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport.

The former village church is located in a 1,600 square meter property in the middle of the village of Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen. Surrounded on all sides, it is an ideal retreat without being "out of this world." In the morning sun in front of the sacristy, on the church wall in the afternoon or in the evening under fruit trees. After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Holiday home on the edge of a holiday home area. About 1 km from the nearest village of Sulzdorf. The Reuthsee is the largest natural lake Unterfranken (about 17 ha) and is only about 100 meters away as the crow flies. Pure nature. KfW standard until 2017 and completely renovated with a lot of love for detail. Previously used as a weekend house and home office. We are new to Airbnb :) .

The Remise is an outbuilding of Bedheim Castle. In the house there are 2 bedrooms (a guest room with 2 beds and a dormitory with 10 beds), 2 bathrooms (each with 2 toilets and a shower) and a large kitchen-living room with a fireplace. Parking is available on the castle grounds.

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
