Great place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Plenty of parking, also easy commute to Newcastle/Sunderland/Durham.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Had a lovely stay at Tumbler Rocks. The house suited our group size and young children perfectly. It was very comfortable, clean and cosy with high chairs, stair gates and a cot. The location was great too with Seahouses a short distance on foot (and stunning views along the way!) There were great options of things to do further afield too!

We loved our stay at Signal House. House is absolutely beautiful. It’s in such a lovely location with fantastic views along the coastline. Easy to walk into Amble or along coastal path in both directions. House amazing, spotlessly clean. We hope to come back some time. Thankyou Tracey for a great stay x

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Hall Yard Cottage, the location was in a lovely village, friendly neighbours and great walks on the doorstep. The hosts left some welcome goodies which were much appreciated. The only feedback we have is that it wasn’t mentioned where we could park in the information pack until one of the neighbours told us. The cottage was very clean, dog friendly and we will definitely return.

A wonderful short break. The cottage is beautifully designed, with gorgeous furnishings and decor, and has everything you need, as well as being spotlessly clean. All the little details are lovely. The shower is amazing, the sofa very comfy, and the fire looked tempting but we didn't need it (sadly!), as the cosy underfloor heating kept us lovely and warm. The setting is peaceful, with a view of the private garden from the kitchen, and the walled garden is very special. We enjoyed trips to the lovely Northumberland coast, about a 30-40 minute drive away, as well as a walk from the door. This was one of the loveliest cottages we've ever stayed in, and we plan to return at some point.

we had a great couple of nights stay, daughter suffers with anxiety and austim, so it was nice and peaceful. time for me to just relax. weather was great so big bonus as got to sit in garden and chill

Great location. A really cosy country retreat. Very well appointed kitchen...equipped for real cooking! Very responsive hosts before & during our stay. Lots of helpful pre-visit information supplied, especially good places to eat like the Fish Shack at Amble & The Angler's Arms in Weldon - both dog and dog owner friendly!

Excellent place to stay whilst working locally. Sparkling clean, comfortable and responsive host. Would without doubt look to book again when next in the area.

The cottage is delightful, very clean and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable. The location was great, a short walk to the city and we loved climbing the hill back to the cottage. There is a Sainsbury’s mini market within walking distance. Wendy was a great host and answered our questions promptly.

Our 2nd visit. We come in may to visit beautiful Cragside and this perfect little hideaway is ideally located. Very clean, modern, comfortable space perfect for a couple exploring this amazing county. Nice size garden and log burner to use. Said we would come back and we did and we will again. We had not been to the area before but were delighted with the accommodation and with Cullercoats. The cottage was stylish and luxurious, ticking all the boxes for a really comfortable bed, great shower, well-equipped, excellent kitchen and everything you needed for a short stay or a longer one. The upstairs ensuite bedroom had a lovely sea view and was really peaceful. The downstairs double room and separate bathroom were practical as we had family visiting. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly and the location was superb - the cottage was minutes from the beach, a small supermarket and the Metro. You could walk from the door into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. The beach was excellent and we swam in the sea. The coastal pathway between Whitley Bay and North Shields with its separate cycle lanes will be a wonderful asset and parts of it are already completed. We settled in really well and very quickly and were a bit sad to leave. Thank you to Vikki.

The barn was beautiful and full of little touches. Pam was an excellent host and was very friendly. She even baked us shortbread whilst we were there! We loved the peace and quiet yet we could get to Alnwick within 10 minutes. A fantastic break. Pam has put together a folder with recommendations for food and drink and this was especially useful. Would love to stay again.

We stayed for a week and would definitely recommend to come and stay here It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped .The beds were so comfy and had pure white bedlinen .The kitchen had everything that you could need and we enjoyed looking out at the view from upstairs at different times of the day.Alnmouth has some lovely restaurants and a couple of lovely cosy pubs and is well worth a visit. If you need a place to chill out this it ,we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day .

Wow what a location and property! We were so excited to arrive and were overjoyed when our high expectations were exceeded! This really is a spot of magic, the views, scenery and local walks are unbeatable and the cottage is truly beautiful inside, with everything you would need for a luxury relaxing stay. We have already talked of when to return. Sunrises from the back garden were spectacular.

If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay, this is it! The cottage is in a fabulous location, with a sea view and plenty of space to sit outside. We were lucky with the weather, but if it's not so good there is a cosy sitting area inside. The beds are also really comfortable. All in all, definitely to be recommended.

Wow not enough words to describe this place, it was beautiful, ultra clean and just wow!! Everything you needed for your stay here, fantastic hamper on arrival together with milk, coffee, sugar and tea to make yourself a drink when you arrived which was great. We had such a lovely warm welcome from Hamish who made himself right at home and obviously knew there was a jar of biscuits just for him when he called by, he is adorable and so friendly, I could have easily packed him up and brought him home! The house, surroundings and everything was so perfect and we will definitely return and would highly recommend it to everyone as the best place to stay. Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful house and we look forward to returning.

A home from home. This stay was fantastic. Attention to detail was fabulous, stunning views and little gifts for the children, snack box, everything we needed was there. Quiet and relaxing. We hope to venture back in the future. Genevieve was also really responsive to any questions, very kind and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay in Alnwick! Great location to enjoy the main attractions and a comfy sofa to rest after a long day. We're both 6 foot so found the bed a little small but it was as advertised.
