Pondihengery Glampsite is a small family run site in a rural area, just outside Rothbury, Northumberland. The site sits on the edge of a stone circle with stunning views. We welcome up to two well behaved dogs. We are striving to make the accommodation accessible so that everyone can enjoy the wonderful area we call home. The cottage was previously owned by the Armstrong family owners of Craigside and Bambrugh Castle. In the past its been a post office and a sweet shop. Fully refurbished to a high standard to provide guests with a luxurious relaxing stay. Close to all of the Northumberland Coastal and Country favourites as well as some secret ones. Perfect for hill walking, running or cycling.

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Stone cottage located on the edge of Northumberland National Park. The cottage has it's own garden and parking area. The cottage has an attached utility room with washing machine and drying rails. Fully equipped kitchen with a combi-oven. Welcome pack with tea/coffee and a taste from our orchard or kitchen garden. Cot and high chair available. Dogs welcome, the garden is not fully fenced but you can walk from the cottage on a public right of way through woodland down to the River Coquet.
