This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Fabulous place - we stayed for a week - with 2 teenagers, a preteen and our dog - great field opposite to run the dog morning and evening. Plenty of beautiful walks straight from the front door. 45 minutes to nearest place to eat out. Facilities were great - lots of swimming and football played by our kids. Thanks for a great stay.

Fiona was the perfect host, so friendly & understanding. The house is beautifully decorated, clean & inviting. The bedding was fresh & clean. The location is perfect for the park & Sheffield near by & the garden is so peaceful & private. Fiona was very accommodating & flexible. We had a lovely stay at Karl’s place for a week when in the area for work. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed and the rooms were comfortable, though for us ladies it’s worth noting that there isn’t mirrors in the bedrooms but there is a big one in the living room that I used for my make up.

This was an ideal spot,close to ameneties but very quiet. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the whole place spotless. We highly recommend it.

We had a great stay at Terri’s property. It was the ideal stop off on the way to visit friends and we found lots of things to do with our young children in the local area.

Absolutely gorgeous property, all the facilities/amenities you could want. Beds are comfy and all the electrical goods are easy to use. Highly recommend this place as a base for exploring Thurnscoe and the surrounding areas. Lovely, green space just opposite with a small park. Short walk into the village. Hosts were really proactive, making sure we had all the instructions to make our stay a smooth and relaxing one.

My stay at winking owl cottage was very nice. It is a lovely little cottage kept clean and inviting, would go again.

We had a great time at Daniel's, a really fun base for a long weekend for some old school gamers. Lovely open plan kitchen diner with a small lounge to socialise in and a really comfy separate lounge too. Really comfy beds and some really character in the gaming rooms. Great host and if we do get the chance we'd definitely return. Hoyland does have some traditional shops, pubs and takeaways but If you're looking for a more bustly lively nearby town, you're probably better venturing closer to Sheffield but if you want to bed in for a couple of days with friends, this place is perfect!

A beautiful well maintained cottage for two. Very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Rosie popped in to introduce herself and deliver a bottle of wine, crisps and chocolate which was lovely as we only had a two night stay! We would certainly book again if we were in the area.

It was extremely thoughtful of Brad to leave some well needed staples, which meant after a lengthy drive we didn’t need to go out again. The place was extremely clean and one little niggle was sorted out promptly and more than fairly. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here, as Brad was fantastic at communication and very easy to get hold of. Thank you.

We had a lovely couple of days at the house. It’s been renovated to a high standard, we were so impressed by how spacious, clean and modern the place was. Kathryn was great a communicating and very responsive. Thank you!

Lovely stay in Todwick with our children, their partners, my mother & my dog. Lots of space for all of us. The lads enjoyed the games room. We all enjoyed some nice local walks and the pub at the end of the road was good for food. Would recommend. Only thing to note is the back garden is not enclosed so you have to keep a close eye on your dog whilst outside.
