Cozy cottage in a nice location

In a very convenient location compared to the beautiful forests of the Oranjewoud and the center of Heerenveen, this cute holiday home with its own sun terrace and unobstructed views of the garden is located. This former garage has recently been completely turned into a comfortable and cozy studio. You can enjoy cycling and walking nearby, and the Frisian lake area is a 20 minute drive away from here. Furthermore, the center of Heerenveen offers numerous cozy terraces and bars.

The apartment is located in the middle of the bustling village street of Langweer on the first floor above our design studio. It features a spacious living room with a luxurious kitchen (and island), two fine bedrooms with private bathroom. The entire apartment is decorated with tasteful furniture adjoining our design style. Many nice sights are steps away: the harbor is around the corner, nice restaurants, beautiful villages, beautiful nature, cities, shops and culture.

Here in quiet Frisian Rohel you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and hiking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace on the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you don't hear anything at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

We would like to welcome you to our sustainable and non-smoking bed and breakfast on the water! Apartment Grutto is located on the 1st floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and fully equipped. Parking is plentiful. Furthermore, we are easily accessible with public transport (5-minute walk). There is also a sandy beach on Lake Tjeukemeer, a 5-minute walk away.

The airbnb is situated in the quiet countryside town Blankenham, close to tourist attractions like Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Steenwijk and National Park Weerribben-Wieden and Pantropica, Urk, and UNESCO Schokland.
