One bedroom with a luxury bed for two and one room with a very comfortable foldable bed sofa for two and a kitchen area. Wood stove sauna, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, the use of a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.

Kerstin’s place on Visingsö is the perfect place to get away from it all. It’s quiet, cozy and very comfortable for 1 or 2 guests. It is supplied with everything you need. Every day you wake up to a beautiful view of lake Vättern, and go to sleep with the same view. The sunset and sunrise from the cabin are breathtaking. The store is within walking distance and the ferry is too (1-1.5 miles). You can rent a bicycle or golf cart from the bike shop to get around the island as well. Kerstin was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I hope to make it back again! A perfect retreat!

House by the shore of Vättern Röttleby

We had a great time at the little house on the lake. Although it was too cold for bathing, we enjoyed the direct proximity to the shore: dinner on the shore, the children play, sunset. The house is well equipped and cozy. The kids especially liked the sleeping bunks. Also nice is the direct area with the village of Röttle and the nature reserve. We will be happy to come back!
