Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Røyken Municipality

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Great stay in the house. The host was quick to respond when there was an error message on the pool and he quickly came to the place and fixed it. Delightful heated pool. Quiet and peaceful area with short distance to the sea.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

We stayed at Petter’s place for a family trip with 4 adults and a baby. It was a lovely and peaceful spot with some woodland walks nearby. It’s also only 15 minute drive to the coastal town of Holmestrand. They have a pig and two dogs and the farm adjacent has several horses. There is a lodger living downstairs who kept to herself. The house was clean and tidy and nicely decorated, as per the photos. We didn’t meet Petter but he had good communication and was flexible in allowing us to check out slightly later. Many thanks!

Worth it for the stunning view. As others have said its like staying in your grandparents house but that is part of its charm. The drive is steep but not that bad. Per responded well to enquiries.

We had a great time at Einar’s place. The house is located near a lake, you will have a good view of the lake from the balcony. Kitchen is equipped with necessary utensils.

Very beautiful apartment, very well located in relation to Oslo, only 20 min by car. Store just at the foot of the apartment. The apartment is very modern, very clean, and very well equipped. The bedding is also very comfortable, we slept very well. Linn is welcoming and available to help when needed. We highly recommend it! Thank you:)

This home smells delicious and is incredibly pretty. Wonderful use of wood materials. Lovely garden. Al and Ingrid were really nice hosts. My youngest even got to feed the hens in the garden. It was a big deal. Thank you very much for your stay. Highly recommend!

Stay was very nice. A train stop with direct connection to Oslo was easily accessible on foot. Accommodation was very cozy and the host very friendly.

Endre's place is great. The view from the appartment is beautiful and if I ever come to Oslo again I would like to rent this place again. Transport to the place is regularly available, trams 12 and 15 are 8 mins away from the place. Endre was really helpful, he gave clear instructions, allowed early check in, even helped me with the laundry. Had a nice experience!

Inger was not there for my stay so we had the whole place for ourselves. There is everything you could need to stay there for a couple of days. The apartment was very cozy and the balcony was a very nice touch. The location however was not ideal. We had a bit of trouble finding the bus that takes you to the center and they don’t come that often at night. The building is very quiet and private. The fireplace was lets you keep warm and feel very at home. Everything was squeaky clean and clearly labeled to let us know what we could and could not use. Comfortable bed for a couple. In short, I really enjoyed my time here, the only thing that could get better would be the location if you plan on doing some tourism but this is also clear before you book it. Would recommend!

We loved our stay at Astrid’s place. It is a really beautiful cabin with a spectacular view and was very private and peaceful. It’s a quick drive to Oslo. We had access to everything we needed for our stay. Definitely recommend!

We rented the hut with 3 friends for hiking to enjoy a quiet week in nature. It was perfect for this. The hut is secluded on a forest lake, is easy to reach on foot (700m from the car) and corresponds exactly to the description. The area is wonderful for hiking on a variety of single trails and there is plenty to see in the area even on rainy days. In the evening, you can enjoy your time at the campfire, grill or relax in the hut in front of the fireplace. Overall, a great experience!

Incredibly cozy, sweet cabin with the best outdoor shower we have ever tried. Very private and quiet location, simple style with everything we needed. Annette told us about very nice hiking areas (Breivoll we loved it) we will recommend the cabin highly and will gladly return

World-class location directly on the very quiet lake in the middle of nature. The accommodation is original, yet very modern. No sewer available ;-). We liked it very much and the communication with Jaokim was flawless. We can recommend this accommodation with a clear conscience and will gladly come back.

Incredibly cozy place. Clean and tidy. Great outdoor area and fun for the kids with outdoor shower! All amenities required. Our stay was 10/10. Recommended!

we had a very pleasant stay, the hut is right on the lake and you are surrounded by beautiful nature, but in bad weather you can also spend time in the hut. Tommy responded to questions very quickly. Great for a few days, especially in summer when it's light for a long time.

We had a wonderful holiday in Jonas and Renate's cabin. Stunning views and an ideal base for visiting Oslo. Tips for future guests: Planning to visit Oslo? Park your (rental) car at Hauketo station. (no parking fees) From there it's a 10 minute train ride to the city center. Download the Ruter app for public transport. Very easy to pay. Kiwi is the nearest supermarket and just as good as Rema 1000, which is a bit further away. In Oslo, it's fun to do a 3 hour bike tour (Baja) to get to know the city. Also book a sauna session in one of the floating saunas in Oslo's harbor and take a refreshing dip in the sea. (Kok or Badstuforening) If you're coming with an electric car, you can download the Charge365 app. It's best to do this in advance, as you'll need to add a payment method. At the charge point, you can't scan a QR code; instead, you have to manually enter an ID. The ID is displayed on the charge point.

We were three adults on a trip who had a great trip to this place. The cabin is in very good condition and looks very nice. Short drive to Norefjell. Recommended!
