I loved my stay at this Airbnb! The space was beautifully decorated—so stylish and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed. It felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient to explore the area. I slept so well thanks to how serene the neighborhood was. The host Karen and Craig were responsive, welcoming, and made sure I had a fantastic experience. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, chic retreat. A great location for a weekend getaway in Matakana - walkable to the markets & local shops which is awesome on a Saturday when the place gets so busy. Natasha’s communication was super speedy and she was really helpful when we had a small issue at the start of our stay. She also provided us with a portacot for our baby which was great. The bed, pillows & bed linen were all luxurious and very comfortable. Unfortunately the unit is on the main road so can be a bit loud when cars drive past- didn’t bother us but may bother light sleepers (there’s also a street lamp right outside so the bedroom won’t be pitch black). At the time of our stay there was no microwave or TV - so bring your laptop if you want any Netflix time! Overall the place was a great size for a couple and a baby (would be a bit squishy with anymore people in my opinion) & was a great place to base ourselves for a Matakana weekend

We based ourselves here for a week and Chad's place had everything we needed - very comfortable beds, good ammenities, well stocked kitchen and Chad was great to communicate with.

Francie’s place is a wonderful place to stay, it has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We loved the short walk to Ruakaka beach - one of our favourite places! Francie was a fabulous host, very responsive to communication and so kind and accomodating to our children. We had a great time even through the weather bomb. We will be back :)

I had a fantastic time at this place! It was very comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well equipped, which made it easy to cook meals at home. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. I would definitely come back again, highly recommended!

Second time I’ve stayed at Hayley’s. Easy to access, peaceful, clean, tidy and has thoughtful touches that make the stay pleasant and comfortable.

A lovely place! I had been experiencing some stress recently, so this was a great place to come to unwind. I thrashed it out on the nearby Mt Manaia- handy being in the area! Recommended. Plus shops etc not to far away by car. Comfy bed, clean, and just generally awesome. I should have read the place name properly/ used my common sense....couldn't go kayaking because of the tide (was low in the late afternoon and morning)- my fault for not figuring that out!! Just have to come back then 😉 Thanks guys, awesome place.

Well I must say in our opinion, this is the best spot in Mangawhai Heads, beautiful views from the unit of the beach in front. The unit is awesome, with everything you need. We stayed as a couple, but the unit has room for a family. Easy access to beach and short walk to surf beach and walking trails. Paul was excellent to deal with, great communication and direction Thanks again

Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay in Whangārei- very peaceful and private but super close to town which is convenient. Loved the place, especially the lazy boy chairs are super comfortable and everything was spotless clean. Colleen even got us cake which was lovely! Thanks for having us!
