NB .. the bedroom is in the eaves so limited head room & accessed by reasonably narrow staircase/shower room is downstairs (therefore not suitable to elderly or tall people due to the limited headroom / due to size of the bedroom it is only a double bed). Situated on the Cleveland Way this is a perfect spot for walking & within walking distance to the lovely harbour village of Staithes (25 mins)

Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway to recharge the batteries!

Two minutes walk from the famous Cod & Lobster pub and eatery. Sleeps 2 The cottage used to be the communal bakery where the womenfolk would bring their dough to be baked You will find yourself immersed in the history of this quaint old village once home to Captain James Cook, artist Dame Laura Knight, and countless smugglers.

Runswick Bay - Top Gallant - with great sea views

Top Gallant (including host fee) is down the hill - in the Bay. The Bay is a small clutch of largely whitewashed cottages and is unique. We have a great south facing veranda with amazing views. The cottage faces south with views right across the bay. Bedding and towels provided. Free parking pass for the (“Homeowners car park). 3 nights minimum booking. No Pets. The property is not suitable for mobility problems due to steps. Check in 3pm. Check out 10.30am.

This beautiful apartment is refurbished to a high standard. It is comfortable, romantic and very self-contained. It is on the second floor, 2 floors above Cobbles coffee/ice cream and gift shop. There is a completely separate entrance for the apartment around the side of Cobbles. The views down the cobbled High Street to the front of the property are quaint and pretty. To the back there are stunning views over the Beck. Free WiFi is available too.
