Treehouse: a beautiful sanctuary nestled on 13 acres in a private gated community. Never before available to stay until now! Engineered with the highest safety standards in mind, it is truly a home away from home. An excellent place for couples, families, or even large groups to stay and sleep inside or out. Conveniently located only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and The Asheville Airport. We hope you appreciate it as much as we do!
Located in a private community on 13 acres, with your very own gate, you can rest assured no one will be disturbing your stay. Included but not pictured, will be a full size luxury mattress that can be laid on the floor if the reclining couch or upstairs beds are too cramped. It should be noted that the upstairs beds can comfortably sleep 1 person in each that is about 5' 8". (Generally meant for small adults or kids) The couch is very comfortable and lengthy, and inflatable full mattress will be the next best option for adults. Additionally, you are welcome to bring tents to camp on the wrap around deck or down below deck. On a clear night the stars will take your breath away. There is currently construction at the entrance but it should not affect your stay! Also, during the cold winter months the shower is inoperable because the water lines freeze. However, we offer our house if you wish to use the facilities.
Private gated community, however we have our own gate and offers near complete privacy
  • Family of 4. Had a 6 and a 4 y/o. We loved it. Loved making a fire each night and making s’mores that were provided in the treat kit. We went to both Asheville and chimney rock among other great places. Perfectly located in the middle of all the great areas. I’m used to camping, but my wife needed a little extra touch of home. She loved it and so that is saying a lot. The boys took the bunks and we slept on the air mattress. A nice theater movie every night before bed. Great stay!!

  • It was a pleasure to have Ian as a host. He was very accommodating and quick with communication. We had a wonderful time at the Treehouse! Thanks, Ian!

    Zach2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time! Ian was an awesome host and was very helpful and responsive when we had a question. We loved making smores in the fire pit and used the grill to make dinner one night. The location was perfect to enjoy Asheville for the day and check out some of the local breweries.

  • This property was a nice little get-away with my wife right after the holidays. It was conveniently close to Downtown Asheville but felt like it was far enough to appreciate the nature that Asheville has to offer. Our favorite part was just sitting next to the bonfire making s’mores!

    Joshua2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • The treehouse was a great touch to our Asheville experience! The movie set up was prime. I wish sleeping arrangements were a little more accommodating for larger people, but overall an amazing experience. A definite recommendation.

  • Great place to stay! Great fun for the whole family!

    Elizabeth2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I really enjoyed this place! We came up from Charleston for an overnight little get away. We sat by the fire and made brauts and s’mores and then went up to the treehouse and fell asleep watching movies. It was perfect for our unplugged little trip. We will be back!!

    Kathryn2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for hosting my stay. I had an amazing experience and will he back. I enjoyed everything from the stars, to the open field, to shooting a BB gun rifle, to making my own fires and the simple and efficient tiny house.

  • We found this place and figured it would be fun by the way it was decorated. It exceeded our expectations. We had neighbors the first night, doesn't even matter yourre so close to the second property (if you're worried about privacy). It's a 15 minute drive to downtown Hendersonville which is super cute. Make sure to bring a cooler for drinks!

  • Grace is a wonderful host, who is extremely helpful and friendly. I had a problem with my car needing a tow, and she not only responded to the late night text immediately, but came to the house, though late at night, to make sure we were okay. The house itself is also lovely, with many personal touches and little details to help make your stay a very pleasant one. I very much enjoyed the house, and Grace as a host!

    Andrew2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Grace’s bungalow is absolutely magical. She was a perfect host- communicated thoughtfully and offered tons of local tips. My partner and I and our two dogs had an incredible time and we will definitely be back. Nothing like a hot tub on a cold night next to a fire!! Grace even provided bath robes- I was continuously astounded by all the extra touches. You have everything you need and then some.

  • Great little place for a weekend get away. Loved how close it was to various hiking spots. Although we didn't get to utilize the outdoor space, was very nicely set up with various places to sit and enjoy each others company.

    Gabby2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place was awesome. Tiny house living with a big feel! Driveway is not bad to get up. House is nicely decorated with everything you need. 20 minute drive to DuPont and Pisgah forests to check out all the water falls. Downtown Hendersonville is only 10 minutes away with a handful of nice restaurants Sierra Nevada is only 20 minutes away. Got to try the rabbit stew 5 star place for sure. Thanks Grace!!!

    Ryan2020-03-03T00:00:00Z

Basement is newly carpeted, includes queen bed, couch, mini-fridge, desk, dresser, couch and spacious living area, your own private bathroom & shower not shared with anyone, private entry with key code lock, & private outdoor covered porch/deck. It has two windows and a covered deck/porch. Door to the basement/room is your own private access--no need to go through the main part of the house. This listing isn't anything fancy, but we make it available as a low-priced AirBnB option to travelers who aren't seeking any bells and whistles. This room has a queen bed, couch, desk with chair, mini-fridge and a TV with a Roku to watch your own Netflix or Prime Video. We have keypad-operated deadbolt locks on our entry door for convenience. Our home is in an awesome, scenic, and convenient location: we are a short 15-minute drive from downtown Asheville, 10 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from the Biltmore House, 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 5 minutes from Interstate 26. South slope of Brown Mountain overlooking south Asheville toward Mt. Pisgah, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Pisgah National Forest. Less than five minutes to local restaurants, bars, and shopping. Quiet neighborhood, secluded in forest, tucked away up on the side of a mountain.
  • Allison & Peter are amazing hosts! Provided everything we needed to feel welcome and comfortable. Responded quickly & were extremely kind.

  • These guys really know what they’re doing. Anything you could need is provided and then some. I particularly liked the ability to make a low-profile entry and exit. The shower’s water pressure was top notch, too!

  • If your looking for a comfortable and spacious area to relax in for your overnight stay, this is it. We came up for a weekend ski trip and so we only needed the room really to sleep but my son was injured on our first ride down so we spent more time in the city. I was so happy to have this place , it is right near lots of wonderful eateries. Asheville pizza was fantastic. And Allison was very gracious to help us with our accommodations, she is a great communicator and very understanding. We were happy to have access to the roku so our children could veg out while recovering. Thank you again for lending us your home!!

    LaShea2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great room with A lot of space. Great neighborhood up in the hills. TV with roku setup was a nice extra. Extra blankets and a space heater for colder nights. Clean. All around great experience.

Charming describes The Little Cabin in the Woods. Pets are welcome as long as you clean up after them. There is a $25 fee per pet which will be invoiced after the booking. Relax at this little haven nestled in the trees offering peace and quiet. Conveniently located to the airport, parks, the Arboretum, Asheville, Hendersonville, Sierra Nevada Brewing, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore House. The cabin is the perfect place to rest for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers.
The cabin is 12x20 feet but feels pretty spacious. The kitchen is well equipped but there is no regular oven. There is a convection countertop oven, a microwave, and a hotplate. Everything feels quite comfortable. The one caveat is that if you have knee problems, be aware that the steps are pretty steep to the loft and you can not fully stand up in the loft. Things are compact but there is a full shower. You sense you are way out in the country, but the cabin is only about 1/3 of a mile from the major thoroughfare, Hwy 25, which goes to Asheville and Hendersonville.
You feel quite secluded in the cabin. It sits behind my log cabin but is tucked away and with the trees is hardly visible. The area is not a typical neighborhood. There is my log cabin up the hill; a farmhouse with chickens that is not visible at all, however, the chickens sometimes come over for a visit; and a small house (again barely visible) and about 250' feet away. You tryly feel removed from the hubbub of the city.
  • Super cozy and cute tiny house with everything you need to stay a few days! The house was clean, quiet, and very stylish in my opinion. The mattress and pillows were super comfy as well. The house is also about a 15-20 min drive from downtown Asheville, hiking trails, and the Biltmore Estate. Finally, the little stream that passes beside the house is so relaxing to listen and fall asleep to :)

    Steven2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Everything we expected, very cozy for a couple and pup. Lovely little house with a nice yard and room for the pup to run a bit. Will definitely be back!

  • Great place!!!! Clean and very welcoming!! Plenty of space for a couple.

  • Very cute, clean little studio/ loft cabin! Great location.

    Caroline2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This little cozy cottage felt like home to us as soon as we stepped inside, and it was very close to ashville and other places you might be interested in going to such as the Blue Ridge Parkway. This place also has a beautiful creek next to it, and we could hear the water flowing as we fell asleep, which was such a nice touch. I highly recomend staying here!

    Rebekah2020-02-28T00:00:00Z

  • We greatly enjoyed our time together and stay in this beautiful home! You will be charmed by the unique architecture and stylish details of this home. The location is convenient to Asheville, grocery stores, and anything else you may need - while still feeling private and peaceful. Our favorite place to hang out was on the front porch and the house had plenty of space for all of us and everything we could have needed. Steven was very responsive and considerate as our host - he had great communication and responded quickly, respectfully, and with help to our needs that came up. Thank you, Steven! Enjoy your stay!

    Anne2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • My college friend and I met up at Steven's place for a nice quiet weekend to catch up. The location is very convenient and easy to find. The house is so welcoming and we settled right in for lots of chill time. Visiting the River Arts District on Saturday was a bonus excursion that made our weekend just perfect. Stephen was a great host and was quick with answers and helpful suggestions. I will definitely be back again.

    Paige2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The house was very relaxing and clean. It was a great stay for our trip to Asheville!

    Brianne2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Steven’s place was everything that we could’ve expected and even more. A pleasant cozy stay in a beautiful modernized treehouse. Although most of our time was spent traveling and exploring the nearby area, being able to come back to Steven’s place to rest at night was one of the highlights that we wouldn’t have traded for anything in my mini vacation. I highly recommend staying here and will most definitely look out for this location in the future.

    Astor2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful house- would definitely come back again. Quiet neighborhood and great location!

    Sydney2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re thinking of staying at Steven’s A-Frame, I highly recommend the experience! Everything in the home is designed with a thoughtful touch; from the furnishings to the amenities, you can tell a lot of love has been put into this space. We particularly loved the board games and ping pong table downstairs, but there truly wasn’t a thing I would’ve changed about it. The kitchen is fully stocked with cook/bakeware, basic spices and multiple coffee makers! The bathrooms are beautiful, the living space is comfortable and the outdoor lounge area is the perfect area to enjoy good weather with your friends and family. The bedrooms don’t have ceilings, however sleep masks and a white noise machine is provided so I didn’t find it to be an issue whatsoever. Steven and his wife are wonderful hosts! The communication was excellent and they were extremely helpful with recommendations, guidance and accommodating our needs. We loved this stay and I couldn’t have asked for better!

    Ray2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Steven’s A-frame cabin was fantastic! It was the perfect mix of cool modern design and a cozy relaxing cabin tucked into the woods. The first day we were there it rained out our hike and we sat around drinking coffee, playing games and watching the rain on the cool A-Frame windows. From our bed at night we could look up through the trees and see stars. It accommodated our family very well and we will try to stay again when we come back to Asheville!!

Our home is located on an acre of land in a very quiet neighborhood - at the end of a cul de sac. We live upstairs in our two floor home and the Airbnb is on the lower floor/private entrance, space and usage. We're 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, park here and take an Uber or drive downtown or to hundreds of outdoor adventure sites and enjoy Asheville! PLEASE read the space description to fully understand the specifics of our listing.
We've created a studio apartment on the lower level of our home with private access, full bath with walk-in shower, kitchenette (microwave/frig/induction cooktop/toaster/coffee press/electric kettle), and living area with TV and a propane fireplace. Enjoy your fully furnished covered patio, a new stone patio with fire pit, and hot tub with a large umbrella (in case of rain) on the backyard deck. PLEASE NOTE: our backyard is a shared space. We have our own deck upstairs but we do enjoy our backyard! And for the adventurous ones, our large back yard has a beautiful stream and large fire pit. Off street parking is available in a specially lit gravel parking spot at the end of our cul de sac. You are welcome to access all anytime throughout your stay (no time restrictions for backyard use) except being respectful of our neighbors, after 10 pm no loud music, etc.).
We live at the end of a cul de sac in a very friendly but very quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees.
  • Renee was super helpful and accommodating, the place is exactly as described and made for a relaxing getaway. I have stayed there twice now and reccomend it for anyone that wants to be close to ashville but not directly downtown.

We appreciated Renee and Michael allowing us to choose the level of interaction between us and them as this was a special trip for us. This cozy lake cottage is just steps away from Rhododendron Lake Nature Park and a short drive to many awesome attractions: Jump off Rock, Historic downtown Hendersonville, Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, Chimney Rock State Park, The Biltmore Estate (16 miles). Located at the back of the lot, surrounded by stone patio with outdoor living room and fireplace. One reserved parking spot on Rustic lane behind the cottage. Please let us know if you need additional parking.
Equipped with WIFI and smart TV. The stone cottage is one of two structures on the property. The other structure is A-frame that our family lives in. The lower level of the cottage is storage that we periodically access.
Its very quiet here with very little traffic. We are a short walk from Appalachian Coffee and a playground. Lake Lure, Brevard, as well as many local breweries including Sierra Nevada are all a short drive away.
  • The cottage is immaculate and peaceful! The bed and pillows were super comfy! That tub is amazing! Perfectly located close to all we wanted to see! Ryan and Misty are very kind people and responded quickly to all communications. We absolutely loved our stay!

  • Thoroughly enjoyed our night here! Check-in was extremely easy and the space was sparking clean and cozy. Neighborhood was very quiet and convenient to Ashville. We would absolutely stay again if we come back to the area!

    Clara2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Love this place! Very quirky and definitely cozy. The bathtub is to die for, and the kitchen had all the supplies we needed, even some ingredients! It was very homey and there were some cute little personal touches from previous guests that added character and charm. The bed was huge and very very comfortable. The only thing I would have to complain about is the amount of stink bugs in the cottage, and the kitchen chairs broke a lot and we had to fix them multiple times. Other than that, this place was PERFECT!

    Alicia2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect getaway, near Asheville and other site seeing areas. Great hospitality, clean, and beautiful cottage to visit. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

    Victoria2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This stone cottage is amazing! It’s a clean and cozy place and perfect for a romantic weekend away. We also went hiking at DuPont state forest which was only ~25 min away. But our favorite part was just existing in the cottage, making dinner, and drinking some wine. I loved this place and would definitely stay again!

  • Very charming and has everything you need. Beautiful stone walls. Amazing tub. Adorable kitchen. Cozy fireplace heater. It was perfect for our family of 3. I found the temperature to be very well regulated despite the stone and older features in the home. Local coffee was provided, along with tea and everything you'd need to do basic cooking in the kitchen. Some toiletries were also provided. The only downside is that the front door sort of faces the front door of another house and it's pretty close. So if you're wanting to sit outside, it may feel a bit awkward to you. Overall- a great experience and we would come back!

  • The space is clean, cozy, and in a great location. There is a bit of noise in the morning from the nearby traffic, but it's expected given the downtown location. Everything we needed was easily accessible and restaurants and shops were within a short walking distance. Danie'l provided us great local tips on where to go and was always quick to respond. Would highly recommend.

  • The condo is so cute! It has the great little touches. Nice lightening, a fair amount of seating, labels that tell you where things are located, and a great amount of space. The condo is very conveniently located. We were able to get downtown, to grocery stores, jump off rock, and other places in literal minutes. Our hosts were also wonderful! They gave us tips on places to eat, we tried Mike’s Pizza. It was great! We would 100% stay again.

Well - appointed upstairs garage apartment in quaint neighborhood minutes from shopping, restaurants, and public parks. Spend the evening relaxing on the front porch, or take an easy drive or Uber into downtown Hendersonville for a little more excitement. Delight in the flora and fauna that IS the North Carolina Mountains, and meet our white squirrels Teddy and Roxanne when they come out of their nests for their daily popcorn feeding.
The space is stairway access only, with carpet and wood flooring inside. Bright and spacious, the living room has a beautiful view of the property and mature trees. An efficient kitchen is perfect for quick, simple meals. Seating for 4 at the dining room table is great for game night, or enjoying takeout from nearby Papa's & Beer. The queen sized bed is comfortable for multiple nights, and the en-suite bathroom gets it done in no frills fashion. Need ideas about what to do or where to go in the area? Just ask! Debbra is full of suggestions for guests of all ages. Teddy, Roxanne, and Deb look forward to seeing you soon! Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee Teddy & Roxanne will make daily appearances, but they do turn up often enough that we have named them and consider them family.
Older, rather eclectic neighborhood. Good coffee shop a mile away - The Ugly Mug.
  • Debbra is an amazing hostess. We had a few unexpected traffic issues on our drive (well, who really EXPECTS them?), anyway, we arrived MUCH later than expected. Debbra was super accommodating and still met us when we checked in. After we got upstairs we found some super yummy cranberry orange muffins and bottles of water. Which were SUPER appreciated after being on the road so long. <3 We will definitely be back!! <3

  • Stay here! We did for our honeymoon and Debbra's place was everything and more. Safe, quiet, convenient location. You can get to Asheville, downtown Hendersonville, Saluda very quickly! Very private, cozy, and very clean! If you like to cook, she has all the pots, pans, and cooking utensils. The muffins and tea and coffee were extra sweet touches. She has plenty of natural light through huge windows for reading, writing, studying, or meditating. The bathroom has great water pressure and awesome soap. The sheets in the bedroom are extra soft. Plenty of extra blankets. The bed was firm with plenty of hotel style pillows. You can control the heat and the house circulates air well. Huge comfy couch, real kitchen table, and all the comforts of home. Debbra responded quickly online and was very nice to meet her. This is how Air BnBs should be. We will be back for sure!

This great lower 2 bedroom apartment is perched on the edge of the historic Druid Hills neighborhood and sits (1 mile) from downtown Hendersonville and the charms of Main Street: shops, restaurants, festivals and more. Private drive, private entrance, private bath. The two adjoined bedrooms are equipped with wifi, and share a mini fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, and internet tv (Amazon, Netflix, etc.). Super convenient to Asheville, trails, rivers, parks and destinations all over WNC.
The 4 windows allow lots of natural light and views of changing leaves and beautiful birds. The colorful interior is cheerful. Organic coffee and teas are available in the mini-kitchenette, and there is free water waiting in the mini-fridge.
History – Druid Hills was platted in 1923 and exemplifies the “Olmstedian” concept of land planning, consisting of a number of curvilinear streets with mature trees and open spaces. Architectural styles in the neighborhood include multiple Craftsman Bungalow, Tudor Revival, and Colonial Revival along with less common styles. There are seventy-six contributing houses/outbuildings.
  • Great value for the price, clean, comfortable, and what you expect based upon the listing.

  • Taylor’s cottage Was exceptional! All the bases were covered. Clean, great locale, prompt communication, cozy space, TV options, great local tips, terrific amenities, nice little chocolate delectables, bargain based pricing. I’m not sure you could ask for much more. Beds were both queen and super comfortable.

    Dave2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy and comfortable. The space was very clean and had everything you’d need for your stay! Also, the beds were amazing!

    Alexis2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Taylor has done a wonderful job styling and preparing this Airbnb. The property was a quick drive to downtown and within an easy walking distance to a cool coffee place and a small park. We had a great stay in Hendersonville at Taylor’s place.

    Sydney2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for two months and LOVED it! Taylor was a fabulous host and her love for hospitality really showed (she even had us over for a delicious home cooked meal...I dream about the biscuits they made us!!)! There were lots of snacks (and candy!) waiting for us upon arrival, many extra toiletries, and the decor made it feel so homey and welcoming. Taylor was super accommodating with us bringing our pets, needing to check out late, and getting us anything we needed for the apartment. I was nervous about not having a stove or full-sized fridge for a long-term stay, but it wasn't an issue at all! The toaster oven and portable counter top burner gave us enough cooking options and there are so many grocery stores around it wasn't an issue to stop on the way home from work to pick something up for dinner (and there are so many great restaurants around we didn't even need to do much grocery shopping...). Have I mentioned the location is perfect??? Super close to downtown, not on a busy street, and easy to get to! For a long-term stay, there were more than enough cleaning supplies for us to use, enough parking for 2 vehicles, enough storage space (the closet is HUGE!!), and enough entertainment (fast wi-fi and streaming services). Taylor was always quick to respond and was open to any suggestions for things to add to the apartment. Taylor also knows the area really well and had the best suggestions for places to go, things to do, and restaurants to try! I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay :) We adored our home away from home and would highly recommend this place to anyone. I only have positive things to say about Taylor and this apartment! We were truly blessed by getting to stay here for two months and getting to know Taylor!!

  • I recently stayed for a night with my sister. We loved the place, great decor, comfy beds, and many thoughtful touches. It was especially nice to have the snacks and access to Netflix! Would highly recommend.

  • Lovely neighborhood spot with plenty of cute touches. Easy to access via the highway and great local restaurants and coffee too. High recommend for the dog friendly nature of the property. Thanks for having us on our way from KY to SC!

  • Taylor’s place was great! We appreciated the plentiful pillows, coffee, tea, and snacks. It was perfectly located for both hitting local restaurants downtown and visiting nearby family. It is clean and quiet and was adequately equipped for our needs. We also enjoyed the walk-in shower and took full advantage of the courteously provided toiletries, scrubs, and soaps. Also, be on the lookout for cleverly stashed treats!

This charming cabin has all the basics, located 1 mile from downtown & a short drive to every attraction you can think of. There's walking sticks, fire pit, charcoal grill & more, here for you to use during your visit. Within 35 min: Pisgah National Forest Biltmore House Tryon Equestrian Center Dupont State Forest water/snow tubing Carl Sandburg Home Sierra Nevada Bold Rock NC Agricultural Center zip lining South Slope in Asheville The Apple Festival rafting Woolworth Walk Jump-Off Rock
This place is ideal for a couple and is definitely unique. The logs are nearly 200 years old, are originally from Tennessee, certified and were reassembled here in 1995. I am not sure what the original builders were thinking, but over the years it has turned into an adorable, two apartment home. You will be staying in an attached guest suite, that has its own private everything. Despite not having central air, the whole house is easy to keep temperate. During the colder months, there is a romantic gas fireplace that just clicks on, to keep you toasty warm. During the summer months, there is a brand new, portable air conditioning/dehumidifier unit. The logs make this place like living inside a Yeti cup. Once they are warmed up or cooled off, they stay that way for hours. To the chef's away from home, I'm sorry to say the kitchen space does not have a full size oven, but there is a monster toaster oven that can handle just about any meal. There is a combination two-burner stove, mini-fridge and sink unit, that looks just like the one in Cliff Clavin's apartment. I thought it was really funny when I acquired this place and I am happy to say, it all works perfectly. There's also a microwave, coffee pot (with all the fixings), blender, crock pot, outdoor grill and a few necessities such as flour, olive oil and seasonings. Of course, you're on vacation, so there is plenty of refrigerator space for leftovers, instead of cooking. If you plan on going hiking, there's items like hiking sticks or maps of some of the local forests and waterfalls, you may use during your stay. For rainy days, there are puzzles, cards, games, books, a dartboard, Apple TV and a dvd player, with a Redbox just around the corner. No matter what the weather, there is a wonderful, covered porch to sit on. There is plenty of trees and shade on this property. The neighbors aren't too close at all and there is a meadow close by, which deer visit from time to time. There's always lots of various birds flying around, from finches to woodpeckers. It's so relaxing and peaceful to just sit and watch the squirrels run around.
No matter where you drive from, the airport or your home, as you get off the highway, you will notice how beautiful this little city is. There are sidewalks which makes the one mile venture to downtown Hendersonville, very easy & safe to navigate. The individual homes and gorgeous landscaping also make for an enjoyable outing. If you're coming for The Apple Festival or any of the activities this summer, you'll never have to worry about parking here. I would never want anyone to be disappointed or feel as though they were misled. There is a small church parking lot adjacent to the backyard, but people are hardly ever there and are very quiet when they do come for service.
  • This stay was so cozy and only a few minutes to downtown! Super clean and very accommodating.

My 700 sq ft retro cottage is in the Druid Hills neighborhood, a mile from downtown Hendersonville and 30 minutes south of Asheville. It is ideal for one or two with a dine-in kitchen, cozy living room, separate office/reading nook and airy bedroom. Enjoy the cool screened porch & sunny deck. Walk to Patton Park (greenway), Papa's & Beer Mexican Restaurant and Joey's Bagels (the best bagels in WNC). 30 minutes from waterfalls, hiking and mountain biking in Dupont and Pisgah forests.
Welcome to Meadowbrook Cottage, my 700 sq ft cozy in-town retreat. It has been renovated over the last few years with an eye to keeping some of its 1928 quirkiness. With a new Mitsubishi split A/C system the cottage is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. As a rear cottage (my neighbors are to the front and side, separated by privacy fences) it boasts trees, birdlife and a large backyard - yet it's close to several restaurants and only a mile from our charming downtown. Being in Hendersonville it's also close to some of the best hiking and mountain biking in the Southeast - just 30 minutes to DuPont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest. Downtown Asheville and Brevard are also just 30 minutes in either direction. The cottage itself is renovated with new appliances in the retro kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with a range of spices, quality cooking equipment and a gas stove. The living room has a 37" flatscreen with Apple TV and HBO Now and the bedroom has a 22" flatscreen with Blu-Ray player. Both TVs also have Netflix, Hulu, etc. (which can be signed into using your own account), and several local channels are available on the living room TV. The bedroom has a Queen bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress. A stacked washer and dryer are in a dedicated closet, and if you have work with you there is even a separate office with a desk, printer and reading nook. French doors lead from the living room to a cool screened porch (wonderful on summer evenings) and the sunny wraparound deck is a great spot for morning coffee.
The cottage is on the edge of Druid Hills, an Historic District designed in 1923 as an 'Olmsteadian' neighborhood (the designer of Biltmore Estate/Central Park/the Montford area of Asheville, etc). As such, there is a variety of architectural styles including Craftsman, Tudor and Colonial. The cottage was built in 1928. It's a leafy, established neighborhood with a lovely family feel and great streets for walking. It's only a mile from downtown Hendersonville, and even closer to the burgeoning 7th Ave district, home to Guidon, Southern Appalachian and Triskelion breweries, Underground Bakery and more (I frequently bike or walk there through Patton Park). And while I get to enjoy the old oak trees and homes, I can walk to Papa's and Beer Mexican Restaurant in 3 minutes (and roll home after a few margaritas).
  • Quaint, quiet, lots of natural sunlight and in a great walkable neighborhood. Thank you.

  • My husband and I are relocating and we were in the area apartment/house hunting. We walked into Susan's place and both said, "Why can't we live here?!" The cottage is lovely, thoughtfully decorated, comfortable and cozy. It has everything you need for a short or long-term stay. Great location. Quiet, private, close to downtown shops and restaurants. Easy drive to surrounding areas for more shopping, dining, hiking, etc... Susan is a wonderful host. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and gave us lots of tips on what to see and do in the area. Highly recommend and would stay here again. Thanks Susan!

  • This quaint little cottage is in a convenient location. It is super clean with cute decor and all the amenities you need. The bed was cozy and even had a heated mattress bed in case the weather was chilly! The host was easily accessible and prompt to respond to suggestions for activities around the area. She even had a notebook with all the necessary information, including restaurant recommendations, local spots, etc. we were very pleased with our stay and this host! We are thinking of staying there again for future trips to the area!

    Brooke2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This quaint cottage is a step back in time with a 50s/60s theme and very clean amenities! We have always loved coming to Hendersonville but this small private cottage is absolutely perfect for being convenient to downtown yet off the beaten path. The hospitality was outdone only by how neat and clean we found this little hideaway. My wife and I were there for our 28th wedding anniversary and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves a quiet and comfy place to get away that’s still close to the bustling crowds!

Great guest guide available, wonderful location (obout 3 min drive from downtown Hendersonville and w/in 20 mins of Saluda and some other cool spots), and a really stylish little space to enjoy when you're not exploring. We visited around Christmas, which was cool, but I badly want to return in the springtime!

  • Mallory’s place is my favorite place to stay when I’m in town! It’s cute, it’s comfy, and it’s close to downtown! This was my first time staying while it was colder out, and the heated floors were such a nice treat! I also really enjoyed the new Tempurpedic bed, it was so cozy!

  • Loved, this perfect little basement apartment. It gets lots of natural light and has plenty of space for two. Firm, comfortable Queen sized bed with memory foam topper. Nice bathroom and good shower. Tasteful living room room with vintage touches and thriving, well placed house plants. Parking and access great. Mallory was a terrific host to communicate with. Friendly and efficient. I would stay here again.

I would say there isn't much to the room. simple and small. Make it your own experience! "mi casa es su casa" I enjoy meeting new people, and so does my groundskeeper "chip" and I may have other guests also. it can be an experience in meeting other guests staying in and out of my home as well. let me know if you need absolute quite. I will try my best. Or at least provide earplugs or headphones
It is a small bedroom right next to my bedroom and bathroom. Thought I would tidy up my spare bedroom for the right person. Your bed is a futon couch that folds into a bed. You also have a small 32" smart tv that has some channels and you can also mirror screen connect your phone. Not a lot of room in there but can be somewhat comfortable. Let me know what you look for in your stay and I may be able to arrange it to be convenient for both of us in using other main areas, I would like to give as much privacy as possible,at times it may not be a quiet place. my bedroom is right next to your room, with only 1 wall and each of our closets dividing it. the house does not currently have a/c or heat, so either a fan or heater is available in the room. My bathroom, and kitchen are shared with me and whoever else. Downstairs washer and dryer are shared & may be used at convenient times that it wont disturb anyone renting downstairs. Living room is just shared with me, And the TV has a good sound system, Just use the simple small roku remote. There is a hot tub in the backyard, You are welcome to use anytime of day or night during your stay as long as you & your feet are clean when you get in, I use bromine tablets as a sanitizer and dead sea salts for health benefits. Just push the button 1 or 2 times for jets. Also remember not to twist the knob turning the heat down or off after using, & Put the cover back on top of the hot tub when finished. Other then that... Enjoy!
  • Cool place. Comfortable. It is more lime a guest house. As long as you don't mind sharing a place with others so it is really bice

  • Great place to stay for the night. Travis was a very welcoming host and offered plenty of local tips. Pointed us in the direction of a fantastic Mexican restaurant for dinner

  • Travis was a great host! The room was clean and as described

    Will2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • I arrived later than intended but Chip (co-host) was ready to greet us and gave us the grand tour. It was indeed nothing special but the wooded location was really nice and everything was actually sparkling clean. The bed was really soft, sheets looked freshly washed, and not a bit of bad smells anywhere (my sensitive nose was pleased). Bathroom (and toilet!) was sparkling clean and had everything you could need. Short stay, but Chip and Travis were great hosts and such pleasant people. 11/10 would stay again.

    Yuva2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Indeed it was nothing special. But Travis was friendly, and had all the things we needed for a quick stay

    Kristina2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • A very nice place for getting away from 2 big cities: Atlanta and Charlotte. The place is very quiet. We had a very good sleep. Travis and his friend are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommended and be back.

Prime location on Hendersonville's pedestrian-friendly Main Street. Three-room apartment in historic building; modern conveniences; special touches. Watch the sunset. Restaurants, entertainment, unique shops just down steps. Off-street parking provided. Jackson Park is located about eight blocks away, complete with walking and biking trails, bird watching, soccer fields, baseball fields, tennis court, basketball and other recreational opportunities. Golf courses abound.
Our 102-year-old building was one of the first of its kind to be constructed on Main Street in 1913. Its brick facade and distinguished arched windows rise above South Main Street and fall in the shadow of Hendersonville's original golden-domed 1905 courthouse. The three-room apartment features heart pine flooring throughout, and a western facing wall featuring large windows in each room that showcase the setting sun. The master bedroom (with ensuite bath) has a king-sized Disney bed with a plush SpringAir mattress, 100% cotton sheets, cozy bedding, two leather chairs, and cable/Roku television. The kitchen/dining area features an oval table for four, an informal seating area, an electric stove with most dishes and cookware provided to enjoy meals as well as a microwave, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, electric teapot, toaster and bookshelf with books, games, puzzles and more. The third room may be used as a living/office area or as a second bedroom with a couch, pull-out, queen- sized sofa bed, all bedding provided, side chair, chairs for little ones and cable television with DVD player. For adults who need more mattress support, a SoundSleep Dream Series Queen Sized Air Mattress and Comfort Coil Technology and Internal High Capacity Pump, with a height of 19 inches, is available upon request. The bathroom is adjacent to the master bedroom and features a walk-in shower with a separate dressing area and closet. Off-street parking is provided. Restaurants, bakeries (don't miss 7th Avenue's Underground Bakery about 8 blocks away), specialty shops, museums and entertainment are located right outside our doorway. Both Asheville and Brevard are about 25 miles away as well as the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the area's treasury of outdoor opportunities. The Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site as well as historic Flat Rock and North Carolina's State Theater, the Flat Rock Playhouse, is a 10-minute drive. Brewery and winery tours are widely available, including Sierra Nevada's east coast beer-brewing facility located about 10 miles away in Mills River. The apartment shares a second floor with the offices of one of Western North Carolina's best known architect-builders: Ken Gaylord Architects and Black Hawk Construction. We welcome relocation and business travelers who are interested in researching our area for potential relocation here. Come stay in our vacation rental and schedule your design/build/remodel/land consultation with our resident architect-builder! For an extra fee, business customers may rent our conference room, complete with wi-fi, a white board, telephone and large conference table. We hope visitors will appreciate the building's handsome brick facade, representing our town's best example of butter-joint brick arches and early 20th Century craftsmanship. Gaylord coined the term "Architect-Build" to describe the timeless approach to creating buildings where the architect leads both the design and construction processes to achieve buildings of artistic merit and exemplary environmental performance. Gaylord renovated the building in 2001, an investment that helped spur the renaissance of South Main Street. Many thriving businesses now share this block with us: Brandy's Restaurant (directly below the apartment), West First Wood Fired Pizza (considered WNC's finest), The Poe House craft beer and wine pub, Jongo Java coffee house, and the Flat Rock Playhouse's Main Street venue. Gaylord uncovered the building's graceful bones and added modern touches to create a harmonious blending of respect for the old and appreciation for modern aesthetics. A number of Gaylord's project drawings and paintings are used to add visual interest to the apartment. We hope to see you soon!
Main Street Hendersonville is one of Western North Carolina's most charming locations and provides the stage for year-round festivals, street dances, parades, live music, restaurants, bakeries, ice cream/yogurt parlors and specialty shops, including clothing, antiques and Mast General store. Pedestrians can stroll along the sidewalks, which feature plenty of outdoor seating. Main Street festivals include the North Carolina Apple Festival, Spring Jubilee Plant sale, antique car show and Art on Main. Visitors can enjoy street dances each week during the summer months. All are within walking distance from this apartment.

This is a split level home, downstairs is your main area with your own bedroom and bathroom, has washer and dryer thats to be shared. Also has access to upstairs kitchen. I do have other airbnb guests and so at times there may be commotion. And also myself. Earplugs may be provided. There may be loud music, walking, talking, floor squeeks above, & garage door opening since its a man cave my friends & I use from time to time. This may be more of a hostel experience at certain times or weekends.
Its not a fancy place. You can find imperfections here and there but overall it can be your happy place, as it is mine.
  • Travis was a great host. He responded quickly to any questions. A very good experience and I would not hesitate to stay there again...Thanks Travis!

One bedroom, one bathroom apartment with a private entrance is part of a fourties era mountain vacation cottage. It is in a very quiet upscale neighborhood 2 miles to historic Hendersonville and 2 miles to Jump off Rock at the top of the mountain in Laurel Park. Located 30 minutes from Asheville and the Biltmore Estate and 30 minutes from Tryon. This is a perfect home-away-from-home for exploring all the many hiking, biking and other adventures Western North Carolina has to offer!
Apartment access is around the side of the house in the backyard and is not handicap accessible. Kitchen is equipped with basic essentials including a coffee maker. Coffee and tea will be provided. Door to washer/dryer closet is in kitchen.
This is a very quiet setting. As you sit outside in the cool evenings of WNC you hear nature, not the hustle and bustle of the city.

We didn’t get to meet Carey unfortunately, but we ran into her husband Whit a couple of times and he was so sweet and gave us some great local food tips. Check in was super convenient as well as check out. Overall we felt it was a great value and would stay again!

It’s a great value, conveniently located, and immaculate, but also the home is beautiful and has plenty of nice touches to make you feel at home when you’re traveling. Carey is so sweet that she brought us fruit and made sure there was coffee and juice for us when we got there. My husband and I definitely would stay here again!

This treehouse provides a simple retreat in a wooded setting on the corner of our one acre property. Our two dogs will excitedly greet you when you come onto the property. There are lots of cozy quilts, a composting toilet, solar shower, fire pit and we are conveniently located to Hendersonville, Flat Rock, Dupont State Forest and Lake Summit. Asheville, Brevard and Pisgah Forest are a short distance away as well. Great outdoor accommodations for hikers, bikers and outdoor lovers of all kinds!
This unique modern style treehouse is the perfect place to experience sleeping in the trees and outdoors without the hassle of setting up your own site. There is a queen size air mattress with an added foam topper for additional comfort and warmth complete with sheets, pillows and plenty of quilts. There is an optional electric blanket and fan for use as well. A stadder (combination stairs and ladder) gives you access up into the treehouse. There are plenty of hooks and an electrical outlet for any power needs you might have. The outhouse with a composting toilet is on the ground level below the treehouse. There is also an outdoor solar shower (a bladder that uses the sun to warm the water fitted with a hose/nozzle that releases water at the rate of gravity), we also provide a small water bladder at the site for drinking/washing. There is a fire pit with a couple of chairs for you to use. And you are welcome to forage the property for firewood. We also provide a couple hand towels and bath towels. There are twinkle lights strung on the treehouse and there is an extension cord that you can use for any electrical needs you may have. Additionally there is a light fixture inside the treehouse. There are also solar lights along the path for any late night trips to or from the car. You can store your bikes or gear under the treehouse area for added protection. We have two barking friendly dogs who will greet you upon arrival and note that we do live on a main road so there is road noise. There is a fan in the treehouse in case you are a light sleeper and need some white noise. You can drive 10 minutes to Dupont State Forest to hike or bike or swim. You can travel 15 minutes to Lake Summit for paddle boarding between September and May (the lake is off limits to non residents during the summer months). You can drive 5 minutes into our beautiful little town and have dinner at West First, Flat Rock Wood Room, Black Rose, Neverblue, Hubba Hubba Smokehouse or any of the great restaurants we have. We've also got some amazing breakfast/lunch restaurants such as Flat Rock Bakery, Honey and Salt, Hendough and Underground Baking. To top it off we have an ever-growing list of breweries in the area too. There is shopping, apple picking during the fall season at our many apple orchards or wine tasting from the nearby vineyards. We are approximately 20 minutes to Brevard, 5 minutes to Flat Rock and 30 minutes from Asheville. Biltmore Estate in Asheville is great experience as well as The Gorge Zipline tour in Saluda.
We live on a main residential busy road which makes it easy to find and easy access to other activities. Our property is a one acre wooded lot and we have neighbors on either side of us that are on large 4-6 acre lots that are also wooded so the pavilion of happyness feels private. There aren't any sidewalks on our road so leaving our property should be done by vehicle. We love that we are 10 minutes from hiking and 5 minutes to great restaurants and shopping!
  • The hosts were both so nice — Really thoughtful about details, responding quickly, & offering suggestions for things around town. The bed is honestly super comfy, & the whole space is so unique & dreamy. Onlyyyyy negative would be that it’s a lot closer to the house / main road than I anticipated, but still an overall great experience & I would definitely stay here again!

    Jessica2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful treehouse and great stay for a nice getaway from reality! Perfect 10 mins from downtown, with wonderful restaurants and shops!

  • I can’t say enough good things about this treehouse!! Michael met us in the driveway as we drove in. He made us feel right at home and gave us some great local recommendations for food. After walking around downtown Hendersonville (only 2 miles down the road), we came back and had a perfect fire. Firewood was ready for us to use. We were so surprised by how comfortable the bed was!!! We had been traveling for a week before arriving at the treehouse and it was by far the best sleep we’ve had. Plenty of blankets and the heating blanket really came in handy. We loved waking up to the birds chirping. We will definitely be back!! Thanks Shannon!

    Kelsey2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Shannon’s treehouse is a super cute space! We had a great stay with everything we needed for our overnight stay. Perfect place for a weekend getaway!

    Sarah2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Even though it rained for our entire visit and we weren't able to use the firepit, we still really enjoyed the cozy experience in the treehouse. We loved the comfy bed and ability to have cups of tea while being surrounded by greenery.

    Penny2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the treehouse. It was a neat place to stay. Hosts are very nice and we enjoyed the dogs. Definately will stay here again. .

    Angelina2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • This treehouse is truly magical! Shannon was a wonderful host who just so happens to have the coolest, coziest happy place in the trees. We enjoyed our trip & got to visit a local brewery recommended by our hostess extraordinaire.

Come home to a comfortable and private retreat after spending a day exploring the many sites and attractions that the area has to offer. It's easy to get into a relaxed frame of mind with a pillow-top king-size bed, a living area for reading or streaming movies, a kitchen that offers all the essentials, and a cozy dining area. Relax with a beverage on your personal deck shaded by the giant oaks or take a short walk to a nearby brewery or restaurant.
The space is unique - beautiful, rustic, and comfortable. We just renovated it in 2018 with hand-made shelving and brand new everything. We have put a lot of love into this place! The bedroom, dining area, and living room area are all in one large space with the kitchen and bathroom separate from the main area. The entire studio is approximately 500 square feet. The space is a great place to relax and unwind after seeing the sights all day (or just taking a day off to rest). There is a 42” flat screen TV with Roku and Netflix if you feel like a movie. There are 2 spots for parking and you enter by way of the deck and the french doors. The deck faces a side lane. It is quite nice to sit on the deck and have coffee or wine with shade provided by the giant red oaks. The apartment is part of a duplex with the shared wall soundproofed. One block over (parallel) there are 2 breakfast/ lunch places, a coffee shop, a Mexican taco lunch spot, a day spa, an art gallery and a new brewery (opening soon). Downtown and Main street are only a 1/2 mile walk. Downtown has a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries as well as quaint shopping. For kids there is a small aquarium and a Hands On museum as well as gem-mining and ice cream
The studio is in a residential neighborhood, 1/2 mile from downtown Hendersonville. It's located 1 block from breakfast and lunch eateries, a spa, art gallery, and brewery. Downtown is an easy half-mile away, with restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and quaint shopping. Convenient to Asheville, Flat Rock, Brevard, Chimney Rock, Saluda, Tryon, Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, Brevard, and The Blue Ridge Parkway. 10 miles from Asheville Airport.
  • This unit was the perfect place for our weekend getaway in Hendersonville! The location was perfect and we were able to walk downtown to the breweries and to the cute cafes about a block away from the house (HenDough, Mean Mustard). We didn’t know at the time but Uber/Lyft weren’t running frequently so that made the location of Anna’s unit even more desirable. However, we did find a local cab company to take us to a winery which was great! The unit itself was spacious and well-decorated and had anything we could think of needing for the weekend. Would highly recommend for a trip to Hendersonville!!

    Rebecca2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Anna for helping make our anniversary trip fantastic. The dusting of snow our first morning was a delightful surprise(February 29th)! The unit is located just a few blocks from town, however we still chose to drive into town because of the wind chill. Everything in the unit was very well laid out. Abundance of towels and wash cloths and the bed slept fantastic. The unit isn’t large but is well laid out and very comfy cozy for a couple.

    Russell2020-03-01T00:00:00Z

  • This place was so perfect for my wife & I. The furniture/layout & decorations were very well thought out & made a small space feel big and comfortable. Every amenity we could have needed was provided, including a couple local beers (which were very good)! The hosts were very easy to communicate with and even left an extensive list of things to do in the area. Would 100% stay here again and will be recommending to friends!

    Chase2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable, super comfy, super clean, conveniently located and the parking was great!

    Kim2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay! The studio was incredibly cozy and well decorated/organized. Everyone slept peacefully, including our toddler (thanks for stocking kids’ kitchen ware btw). Our only issue - my fault for not investigating the map - was that we were 20 min outside Asheville + Biltmore (where we planned the majority of our trip) ...so we ended up doing a lot of driving. Oh well 🤷🏼‍♀️

  • We loved the loft! The location is perfect. Walking distance to all things fun in downtown Hendersonville. The space was stylishly decorated and we really appreciated the amenities (coffee and biscotti in the morning, water and sodas in the fridge, and yummy chocolates by the bedside). Communication with Gaston and Lisa was great and check-in was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

    Alison2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Words will never do justice to the amazing stay my family and I had at this lovely apartment. Gaston and Lisa have set up the most warm and welcoming apartment. I truly felt as though I was part of their family and they were welcoming me to their home on a special occasion. Travel and fun reading books, ample supplies for cooking, cleaning and dining all organized in lovely cabinetry or on display. The house is also immaculate and close to any drug store or grocery store possible. Hendersonville is equally as gracious with their beautiful shops and warm dining establishments. We traveled as a family of 4 and were beyond comfortable with perfect amenities of the home and nightly walks down Main Street. The restaurants are so inviting and happy to have you. And I mean this sincerely. I am also a runner and the hosts also provided me with trails and paths to assist me. This place is centrally located to a great lunch or dinner In Asheville and a lot of fun daytime hikes at DuPont or the surrounding areas. If you are sincerely reading this please know this is the best place to stay!

It was close to everything we wanted to do for a weekend getaway- Hiking a chimney rock state park, dinner at Sierra Nevada and drinks at Bold Rock Hard Cider. Vance was very accommodating to our fur kids too! Everything we could have needed was provided. We will definitely stay at Vance’s place again if he will have us!

The Blue Door is close to the city center yet in a quiet residential neighborhood. You’ll love it because of the convenient location and the natural park-like setting. It's a great place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and small families.
The Blue Door is an 823-square foot one-bedroom apartment in a quiet Hendersonville neighborhood. It's the entire first level with driveway parking at the entrance door and all on one level with easy access into and throughout the apartment. A new kitchen with full-size appliances and a new bathroom with a walk-in shower have been added to an already existing spacious living area and cozy, private bedroom. The bedroom has a king-size iComfort bed with a half bath. The living area has a new and very comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa and a 54-inch flat screen cable TV and Internet with Wi-Fi. The living area also has a fireplace with gas logs to warm you on cool nights and chilly mornings. A mini-split heating and air conditioning system with remote-control units in each room offer specific climate control for the bedroom, living area and kitchen. Our house is on 2 acres of land with streams, a shady tree-filled yard, and scenic pasture and barn across the street, yet within walking distance to restaurants, coffee/bagel shops, breweries, food markets and a park with walking and biking paths.
Bike, walk, and run, in a neighborhood that's located within the city limits, but surrounded by trees and woodland. Head to Patton Park to play basketball and soccer, and to skateboard, with the Oklawaha Greenway connecting it to 2 further parks.
  • Best Air bnB experience ever! What a dream to stay here. The location is 15 minutes to everything in Asheville and a quick 5 min drive to downtown Hendersonville. My favorite part was the extras...the extra special attention to providing little snacks, coffee, extra pillows, blankets etc. What a treat! We truly did not want to leave. My 2 year old son loved the outdoor area and loved exploring the grounds! We cant wait to come back to the Blue Door...we already miss the most comfy bed and fireplace!

  • This cozy, immaculate space was just what we were seeking for a quiet weekend. There were so many lovely touches and thoughtfulness put into thus quaint apartment. Too many to name. Close to downtown too!

  • The Blue door was a fantastic rental. There were many small touches throughout the apartment that it became obvious this rental has been well thought out. Fantastic location, quiet but close to everything. Great hosts! Most appreciated.

  • Look no further if you are looking for a weekend away in the mountains in NC near Asheville. Personally, I think Hendersonville is a lot nicer of a place to stay instead of Asheville. You are closer to everything (blue ridge parkway, Biltmore) and located in a very quiet, safe, cute neighborhood. The apartment is amazing as well!! You will feel like you are the first people using the space as it's so clean! They had everything you might possibly need on hand and If not, they are available and ready and happy to help with anything you might need. We spent a day inside watching TV since I caught a cold and didn't even mind because it's such a cute and cozy spot! One key thing for me when traveling is how comfortable the bed is and this bed was amazing! It was firm yet you still sank in enough so you didn't feel sore after sleeping on your side. Highly recommend! We want to return and will be staying here again!

    Jessie2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb is a textbook 5-star unit. Cleaner than any one I’ve ever stayed in and has almost everything you could need. The privacy and amount of space you have access to is wonderful. Highly recommended.

  • This was our second stay at Corey and Cheryl's place. Can't say enough about the wonderful hospitality. So many thoughtful touches and extra efforts to make guests feel welcome and comfortable, including visiting fur babies. AirBnB at its best.

    Linda2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • This trip was absolutely fantastic. Corey and Cheryl were amazing hosts. We have three dogs and finding a place to stay with them is sometimes a challenge, but Corey and Cheryl were so welcoming to the dogs, going as far as baking them a birthday treat! The yard was fantastic, the actual living space was open and bright (and very clean), and the homemade goodies Cheryl provided were delicious! Convenient to everything! A quick drive to DT Asheville, the Biltmore, and Hendersonville, you couldn't ask for more. We are already planning another trip.

    Emily2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for a wonderful stay. My dog Gypsy and I had a great time. We were very comfortable, and very happy with space and amenities. Cheryl was quick to reply and helped us out with many things, including dog shampoo🤣. I hope to make it back someday soon.

    James2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Corey was a great hostess! We had a wonderful stay at their beautiful home - especially our puppy who enjoyed the fenced in yard and treat bar. Thank you Corey for your hospitality and generosity. We will be back soon!

  • Nice, clean, comfy stay. Very pet friendly. Very gracious hosts that respond almost immediately. Close to anything you need. I will look for this listing if I find myself heading back to Asheville.

    Kim2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best trip to Asheville, all thanks to Corey and Cheryl. Their hospitality is outstanding and they were the best Airbnb hosts we've ever had. When heavy snow was forecasted for the day we were planning to come down, they graciously allowed us to come down a day early with very little notice. They have been very intentional about creating a welcoming space that has all the touches of a high-end hotel. Our two dogs were welcomed with open arms and loved running around the backyard as well as the homemade treats! If you are headed to Asheville, book this place. I promise it'll be the best stay you've had!

    Carrie2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Love that they are dog friend friendly with a fenced in yard. It is also in a very quiet area. Everything was just perfect for us about the place. Definitely will be staying here again in the future.

You can go out ... but sometimes it's nice to stay in. With a bathroom to die for, you may enjoy taking your own, suite time. Hilly walk on sidewalks to downtown Hendersonville- less than 0.4 miles to the Visitors Center on Main Street. Photo opportunities abound in charming Hendersonville and nearby artsy Asheville, and the Biltmore House.
The photographer- who had just shot a brand new Marriott resort, said, "Wow! You should have been on the Marriott's design team." The bathroom is spectacular- just standing in the space leaves you feeling pampered. The 2 person soaking tub is next to a 4 foot square window, giving you daytime views of the private backyard. At night, just pull the curtain shut. For showering, enjoy your choice of rain shower or European wand with the flip of a button. The chandelier gives great shadows on the painted ceiling. The bedroom is small but just what you need- queen-sized bed, TV, and dresser. The kitchenette had a refrigerator, toaster oven, 2 hot plate burners, and microwave. But, with all of the choices that Hendersonville and around have for dining, you're not likely to cook much at home. The TV is on a nearly 90 degree tilt so you can watch from the dining room table or the couch in comfort.
The house is a 15-minute, hilly walk from downtown Hendersonville’s BBQ restaurants, pubs, and shops, as well as a Heritage Museum and a shark aquarium. Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy a bevy of parks in the area. Asheville is about 30 minutes away by car.
  • The bathroom is spectacular. You may just want to spend your whole trip in it. Loved the fact that they provided dog bowls for our furry kids. What a great way to make them feel welcome also. Everything would could have needed was included. This place is amazing.

    Roma2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Beths place was a great find! The bathroom is honestly to DIE for and the reason I booked it. Completely worth it. The town is so cute but on a cold day I promise you want to drive, not walk.

    Jennifer2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Beth’s place! It was exactly what we needed for a quick, dog-friendly weekend trip. The space is beautiful and cozy. We loved the location and proximity to downtown. Highly recommended!

  • The cabin is beautiful, the decor is quaint, and the location is ideal. I highly recommend this stay.

    Josh2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is absolutely amazing! If the weather were warmer we would have enjoyed grilling out on their back covered patio that has a sound system and plenty of seating. We were able to enjoy the hot tub while it was snowing outside! The location is literally only about 5 minutes from down town Hendersonville which made travel super easy.

    Tara2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Diane & Patrick’s cabin is absolutely precious! It is close to the road but that doesn’t detract from the stay. It is still relatively quiet and they provide black out curtains to keep the road lights from bothering you. Everything was so clean and the personal touches are what really made the stay! We will absolutely be staying there again!

    Olivia2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I spent 8 nights recently at The Lynnwood Cabin. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. The decorations, amenities and detail was impeccable. Would love to stay here again someday. Thank so much Patrick and Diane!

    Daniel2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I stayed here for a quick New Year's Eve getaway and we were not disappointed. The adorable cabin looks exactly like it does in the photos, except Patrick and Diane also had warm little personal touches throughout the cabin that really set it apart from other places I have stayed. The cabin itself is amazing and being able to also enjoy the hot tub and outdoor space was exactly what we needed. It is very well located near Hendersonville or a quick 30 minutes or so to Asheville. We were able to go into Asheville exploring, as well as find another small village/town about 30 minutes away. Their kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook a wonderful meal for NYE and enjoy a fire while watching a movie. No detail is spared - it was incredible. Diane and Patrick are wonderful, super responsive and I highly recommend their cabin for a getaway (P.S. the cabin is on a sort of busy road, however, it didn't bother us. The charm of the cabin makes you feel miles away from civilization, which is what we wanted :) and it is close enough to little towns so you can get to places quickly)

    Jodie2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Diane and Patrick were very responsive to any of our questions. The cabin is beautiful, so cute !! We loved it and hope to back next year !

The bed was very comfortable, the cottage was spotlessly clean and the kitchen well stocked with everything you need to make a nice breakfast. It was very nice to sit out in the gazebo. Diane and Michael are very responsive, helpful, friendly hosts. Highly recommended !

  • Wonderful and cozy accommodation with all the touches of home and a few extras you wish you had at home. The cozy cottage is fully renovated; no detail was overlooked. The homemade bread loaf left for us upon our arrival was extremely thoughtful and very delicious in the mornings with coffee. We had a wonderful weekend in the area and the experience was definitely enhanced with such a lovely cottage to relax and unwind in at night.

  • The guest quarters was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. It was exceptionally clean and neat and very nicely decorated. We stayed there before and will stay again when we come back to North Carolina. The owners are very personable and greet you with a fresh baked loaf of bread which is very tasty. We will stay again.

  • I really cannot say enough positive things about the Modern Bungalow. The location was perfect for our girls' weekend and the home is so stylish and comfortable. The host has thought of everything an out-of-towner might need, from a lint roller to restaurant recommendations. I'm already referring people to stay at the bungalow!!

  • Kathy’s place is stylish, classy and so very clean. It’s convenient and close to everything downtown. The king sized bed is cozy and comfortable. It has all the touches needed in a stay away from home. Kathy was quick to respond to us and was very a very nice host. We plan to come back and if Kathy’s house is available we will definitely stay here again!
