Stay in the historical center of Vaals. The French Church dates from 1667 and was converted into living spaces in 1837. This national monument has been restored in the style and materials from 1837. The authentic interior is half-timbered and finished with clay. Shops in walking distance. Trip point 2 km. Vaalserbos 200 meters Wood stove. Binnenhofje with seating area. In consultation, use of family garden. Apartment on 1st floor. 2nd floor inhabited and given the nature of the building it is not mouse quiet.

Apartment on the edge of the Hohes Venn with garden

We (Julia, Andre and our 3 children) live in a house with a beautiful garden in Hauset. By car, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the Aachen City and about 20 minutes to get to RWTH Aachen. Hauset is located 700 meters behind the German/Belgian border in the Göhltal. Many hikers come here to relax. The house is located in a traffic-calmed street. In the middle of nature and yet central (not far from Aachen, Eupen, Maastricht, Liège) We rent a 70sqm apartment with separate entrance on our yard (Eynattener Mühle) consisting of a large living-dining kitchen, a large bedroom, a small living-bedroom (single bed 185 x 85 cm), a bathroom. It can accommodate 3 adults and 1 baby (baby cot available). An outdoor seating area, right on the Göhle, is available for our guests.

In our house (10 km from the city centre) you will find a separate one-room-apartment with own kitchenette and bathroom. It's easy to get to the city by car (15-20 minutes), turning to the other direction it’s a short way to Eifel, Hohes Venn and Monschau. Check-in from 3.00 p.m. Check-out by 12.00 noon (Early Check-in and late check-out may be possible by appointment, depending on connecting bookings.)

The apartment is on the second floor of an old limestone building, around 350 years old. You sleep right under the roof in a cosy little bedroom or on a convertible sofa. The Dutch and German border are both about 8 km away.
