Dev's place was exactly what I was looking for. Much better than a hotel and a very comfortable bed. I slept really well during my stay. The location is right near Red Rock Canyon Open Space and enabled me to get a few beautiful sunset hikes in. Near Manitou Springs.

I had a great time staying in the loft. It's a small apartment with living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The bed is extremely comfortable, the furnishings were modern and the hosts were nice enough to leave coffee, fresh cream and little snacks on the table. The hosts were extremely friendly, informative, quick to respond and eager to please. The location is close to everything in the area, but not directly in the heart of the action. The balcony is nice and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making my stay wonderful.

This was a beautiful attic conversion apartment just west of Colorado Springs. There is a hiking trail just down the street, which was absolutely lovely and extremely convenient. The hosts have appointed this apartment with everything you could need to be comfortable, and were very responsive. The listing doesn't do the place justice. I rented it thinking it was just going to be a tiny studio attic, but it was quite a nice and comfortable one bedroom apartment with everything I could need.

Lovely little place. No cell phone service made it difficult to gain access to the lockbox code, so we had to travel out of the neighborhood to get enough bars to check email. Beds and linens are super nice and very, very comfortable. Everything was clean and bathroom was well stocked with nice shampoo, etc. The master bedroom shares a wall with the neighbor on the other side of the duplex. You can hear everything.

Very cozy house with an ideal location. I loved being able to walk in the garden of the Gods. The bed was very comfortable. And the layout was lovely. I certainly would come back again. Very attentive host

This place was great, it's walking distance to the cute little town of M.Springs. We liked the privacy fence and how clean everything was, the claw foot tub was a treat. It forced us to relax and take a bath and it was wonderful! This is the perfect amount of space for a couple and we loved how the tiny house was organized and decorated. We can't wait to visit again! Booking and check-in were super easy. The location is right in the heart of Manitou Springs, and only a few minutes walk from the main strip with shops and restaurants. There is a private parking spot right in front of the tiny house. The location is perfectly tucked away and secluded from noise and busyness. The inside is very cleanly and cozy. There is a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for a romantic dinner for two. Sarah has graciously supplied the place with terrific coffee, tea, and mineral water. The bathroom was spotless and has a clawfoot tub, great for relaxing. The sleeper sofa is very comfortable and easy to maneuver. The WIFI worked seamlessly. Sarah left an info sheet as to how to set up the WIFI, who to get in touch with if any issues arise, and what needs to be done before leaving. There is an outside secluded patio great for hanging out and enjoying the weather when it is nice. This is a perfect getaway for two! We will definitely be back. Thanks, Sarah!

Its a great place 420 all day

Our stay was great! I would definitely do it again! There is no A/C, but there is am electrical fan and a ceiling fan. Regardless, we loved it!

Overall, our experience was great. The apartment in which we stayed was well decorated and came with lots of things to keep you entertained. As a smoker, I was very well accommodated with ashtrays and rolling trays. The listing for our room mentioned there was a TV, but what it did not mention is that it was a nice flat screen with digital cable and almost every channel, including HBO. The only complaint I have is that the room was very cold and I couldn't figure out the thermostat, which is probably fault seeing as I did not call for Assistance. I cannot recommend booking through Dale enough, the apartment was really nice and for a very good price!

The apartment is in a great location. Just minutes drives to Garden of the Gods, Cave of the winds, and downtown Manitou. Plenty of places to eat or if you want to stay in the kitchen is adequate enough to cook your own meal. The pull out bed was easy to use. The bathroom was very small especially the shower. I am of average size female and found it uncomfortable to be in for more than a few minutes. Overall good place for 1 or 2 people and 420 friendly is always a plus.

My husband and I came to Colorado Springs for a week and stayed at one of Dale's places. It was awesome! Very small, but that is to be expected in a studio. Check in and out was easy and the area and closeness to everything was nice. We will be back!

Staying at Dale's place was great. It's right off the highway and so close to Manitou Springs - perfect for those climbing The Incline :) We appreciated the full kitchen, pans, and dishes. The place was very clean and both Dale and the property manager were very helpful and quick to respond to questions/concerns. Check in/out were super easy.

Doug's cabin was immaculately clean and likely one of my top 3 airbnb experiences over years. Very hospitable, responsive, and responsible host. The cabin is amidst woods and deers nestled a few miles from downtown Manitou. Garden of the Gods and Cliff Dwellings are a few miles away as are many other attractions and eateries. I had a 10 on 10 stay here.

This log cabin is AWESOME and Douglass and Annie have it set up beautifully and are SUCH nice and considerate hosts. I had a lot of work to do while in Colorado and the wifi worked great and I I had a fire burning most of the time while I was there. It is SO quaint and historic, yet modern and comfortable. The view of the mountains and Pike's Peak is beautiful and there were mule deer around the cabin each day. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and will definitely be back when I return to Colorado!

Douglass was a fabulous host! From the 'match ready' fire in the fireplace, to the bottle of organic Cabernet Sauvignon, the reservations at Adam's Mountain Cafe, and recommendations for hiking routes, he out-did himself! The cabin was beautiful and very clean and comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We loved the family of mule deer who greeted us when we drove onto the property. All of it was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to return here and spend longer exploring the area. Thank you!

This cabin is absolutely amazing! So peaceful, so adorable - the perfect get away with things so close like garden of the gods, cave of the winds and the hot springs. We even saw deer frolicking past our front window the morning we left. My favorite parts of the cabin were the claw foot tub and the fire place!

This was a great stay and my first time trying Airbnb. The communication was clear and easy, the lodge is adorable and comfortable and had everything we needed. It's also SUPER close to Garden of the Gods and was walking distance to the start of the Pikes Peak Marathon. Close to a main road, but back enough to be quiet and peaceful. Lovely place!

This is such a cute apartment space above the garage! It was the perfect size for my daughter and I to enjoy our short time we had in the Springs. Mary and her two ADORABLE dogs were very friendly and helpful with recommendations of where to eat and cute places to shop! Enjoyed the stay! Mary has done everything to make the space comfortable,enjoyable, and convenient... felt right at home. Clean with lots of extra touches like a full spice rack, convenient USB ports by the couch and in the bedroom, even a pink hair dryer. Loved there was a Simon... haven't played that for years and books about the history of the neighborhoods in the area. You park around back of the house, go through a gate, and up a flight of stairs to a large private deck with places to sit and a porch swing. It's peaceful and has an "on top of the world" feeling. The neighborhood is eclectic... new and old side by side. Feels safe and her neighbors are friendly. Her digs, Henry and George, are darling... I love dogs and they make friends easily. Mary is remodeling her 120 year old home and redesigning her backyard. There will be a brick walkway, grasses garden boxes, and hopefully some chickens. It is started and will be fun to see how it progresses. Mary recommended a restaurant that serves a great fresh beet salad about a mile away where there are a number of fun shops to explore. She knows a lot about the area and is a great source of ideas and info. Definitely would stay here again... definitely recommend it.

I only stayed in Colorado Springs for one night, but I was able to walk to restaurants and a short drive to Garden of the Gods. Mary was very helpful and suggested a few restaurants based on my interests. I ended up walking downtown (about a mile walk, very easy) to window shop and then drove to Shuga's for dinner (HIGHLY recommend - and please get the shrimp soup). I've stayed in Colorado Spring before, but never in Old Colorado City. This B&B is located in the historic district and the area has TONS of charm. Because it is a historic district not all of the homes are updates. I never felt unsafe walking around and everyone was quite friendly. The street is residential/craftsman style and I was surprised by how updated the room was. The pictures don't do it justice, but it was like staying in a 1 bedroom apartment. There was plenty of natural light in the morning, coffee available (a must for me!), and a nice deck with a view. I've only used Air B&B's for the past two year, and what I really enjoyed about this space is that is felt like a whole house without the big price tag. I had plenty of room to put my things while experiencing the comforts of home. This space does require walking up a flight of stairs. On the way out I stopped by Garden of the Gods and did a short hike - I highly recommend going to see this amazing park. Overall, I really enjoyed this Air B&B and would highly recommend.

Cesar was really great! He came through for me at the 11th hour as I was scrambling to find a place to stay and was very flexible with my arrival. The accommodations were clean and comfy. I loved the Keurig and tea selection! The location is a bit remote and it's really dark in the neighborhood at night so it can be slightly creepy if traveling alone, but Cesar and Stephanie made me feel welcome and at home. It's a great location for people looking to have an outdoor adventure in Colorado Springs.

We had an amazing stay at Merrills house. She is a very warm and caring host who has a big heart for kids. The room and kitchen provides everything you might need during your stay. The house is located on the hills of manitou springs. It is really quiet and you will feel far away from touristic manitou and a great location to explore the area.

Merril is a very gracious hostess, who enjoys sharing her home with others and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. She is very generous with the use of her kitchen and gives you plenty of privacy. We had the use of the bedroom with ensuite bathroom, the living room and felt very comfortable cooking in Merril's kitchen, not to mention the outdoor areas. We even shared a few meals, but if we had wanted more privacy, she would have been fine with that also. Merril was very sweet to our dog and our 11 year old daughter, providing dog biscuits and a really cool paper doll book to color for our daughter. She provided postage and mailed a letter for me and offered to drive my daughter and me up Pike's Peak to meet my husband who was hiking (she even rummaged around and found him some better hiking boots than he had brought with him). The neighborhood is quiet but still not too far from downtown Manitou. You can walk down to the downtown area if you don't mind some stairs and hills, but that will help you work off any calories you have consumed at the awesome restaurants. You can also walk to the Manitou Incline if you are so inclined. As mentioned previously, my husband hiked Pike's Peak and was able to hike to the Barr Trail from Merril's. It is also very close to the cave dwellings, Cave of the Winds, and Garden of the Gods. It's a perfect location if you need some peace and quiet but want to be fairly close to the action.

Robyn was stellar from start to finish! Clear instructions to get to the place, AMAZING cabin that is absolutely perfect for a family of 4-5, lots of fun videos, puzzles, etc to keep us occupied. Zero wasted space in the cabin -- I'm in love with the layout! Everything was fresh & clean, all amenities were there for us to use. The cabin's location is just about perfect, right at the edge of town, and right next to the Cog Railway. Really couldn't have had a better time anywhere else in town, I think. Robyn even quickly addressed one small mis-hap (toilet clogged), and had someone over to fix it within 30mins -- even though Robyn & her family were on vacation themselves. Only disappointing thing about this review is that I can't give her more than 5 stars! :-)

Robyn was an host. This quiet and peaceful cabin is within super easy walking distance of the cog railway and the center of Manitou springs, there are hiking trails all around and the views are amazing. The cabin is cozy but has a great lay out to fit 6 people. There is one bathroom with hot water (great for those winter nights) and good WiFi. We used the kitchen, coffee and Robyn told us that anything else we needed she would provide! There is a very nice patio in the back for eating outside as well as a gas grill and a lovely front porch. Robyn was working from home so she would promptly answer any questions we had. We had kids in the house so I think we did make some noise but Robyn said she didn't hear anything which is great! The cabin was perfect. Communication with Robyn was perfect both prior to the visit as well as during. My dad loved the cabin and we will definetely book again!

A lovey cottage nestled near the cog railway to Pikes Peak. Very relaxing and well appointec. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I was welcomed by Robyn at the foot of the driveway. In addition to greeting me warmly, she guided my unwieldy vehicle up the drive. She was careful that we had everything that we needed and told me to come to her house if we had questions or needed anything else---which I did numerous times. She gave us information about the area, including restaurant suggestions. Her husband, Steve, was just as friendly and helpful. I hosted my sister and her family at the cottage to celebrate my son's graduation from Colorado College. I asked them their opinion of the rental. They were enthusiastic, saying it was a perfect fit for them to spend time together, loved the neighbors, loved the proximity to hikes and to Manitou Springs. All in all, it was a great idea to book this lovely cottage instead of putting them up in a hotel. It contributed to a fantastic family get-together.

Fantastic place to stay in Manitou Springs. An easy walk to both the cog railroad and a vibrant downtown. The house is situated behind the hosts' home, and they are very friendly and helpful. Hank the dog is very friendly too. The house itself has a large master bedroom and several beds upstairs. There is ample privacy.

Not only did Robyn and Steve go above and beyond to accommodate me and my whole crew, their neighbors did as well!! My crew and I felt at home in this little cottage. This place is amazing, you will love the location, people and Manitou Springs!

My family and I enjoyed staying at the cottage. We liked that it was in a quiet area yet within walking distance to the hub of Manitou. We found the beds to be comfortable, appreciated the window air conditioners as well as having a kitchen to cook all our meals in. We also found Robyn to be a easy going friendly host.

Robyn and her husband were fabulous hosts. The quiet and peaceful cabin sits within easy walking distance of the cog railway and the center of Manitou springs and there is easy access to hiking trails. The cabin is intimate but very well laid out to accomocate 6 adults. There is one bathroom and good WIFI. We used the kitchen and what we did not have Robyn readily provided! There were chocolates on each pillow that all enjoyed. There is a nice outdoor patio for eating outside and a gas grill and a lovely front porch. Robyn is hard at work gardening and landescaping. We did lots of celebrating in the house for my son's graduation and Robyn and the little cabin were perfect. Robyn communicates well both prior to the visit as well as during. We will definetely book again!

We just loved staying here! We felt very welcome & at home. Karole & her pup Ruxton are super friendly. The setup was great with amazing views. It felt very much like we had our own place downstairs. The living area is very spacious & super comfy - the fireplace is a major bonus! The rooms are comfortable and perfect for what we needed. Love the big bathtub too. We also had our dog with us for the stay which was great! Ruxton is a great playmate and well behaved. We loved being walking distance to downtown Manitou (right down the road) and just a couple minutes walk to great hiking trails. We would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you Karole!

We loved our Stay with Karole! She was was very warm and welcoming, and really opened up her home to us! The location is amazing...surrounded by the beautiful lush valley of Manitou Springs, and a short 5 or 10 minute walk to downtown. Being dog friendly was a plus. Extremely well-appointed space with all new everything! Sweetly decorated with all the amenities you could ever need - including a complete kitchen with microwave, stove, mini fridge, sink, and all the appliances, cookware and utensils you could ever ask for. We were greeted with a personalized note, fresh snacks, and recommendations for local restaurants. The place could not have been more convenient to all the attractions that Colorado Springs has to offer. On top of everything, the host was super communicative. We also loved the private entrance with easy access without the aggravation of coordinating key pick up/drop off. Gigi was a wonderful host and the apartment had everything we needed for our four night stay. it was comfy and convenient, and we enjoyed the view of the mountains from our breakfast table. The location couldn't be beat for everything Colorado Springs has to offer. We were a short five minute drive to Old Colorado City which is so charming and has lots of shops and restaurants. Gardens of the Gods and the old cog railway to Pike's Peak are just a little bit farther. We found a grocery store and drug store just a four block walk from the apartment. An amazing AirBnB experience! The studio is exactly as pictured in the photos; nicely decorated, clean, and cozy. It has all the amenities and everything is brand new. There is plenty of space to store your belongings and suitcases as well. There is no living room / sitting area, but there is a breakfast table. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and snacks. Basic food items such as coffee, tea, sugar, and even oatmeal were available. The hosts were quick in responding to questions and were very accessible if needed. The location in Old Colorado City is convenient and close to the main street where tons of nice restaurants and bars are located. The studio is the lower unit in a duplex and the upper level is also available for rent through AirBnB. It is not too bothersome, but you can hear people upstairs walking around. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend this AirBnB!

Marianne is a wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable. She offered us a lot of variety for breakfast and all of it was yummy. Marianne also had her fridge stocked with bottled water and beer. The view from her house are wonderful and we enjoyed having our breakfast and just chilling on the balcony. It was my first time staying at a BNB so I was a little apprehensive about what to expect. The host has several options to consider which was hard to determine on the Airbnb site. I would have chose a more private option but the bedroom/shared bathroom worked out fine and it was clean. The decor was eclectic which made it unique. The view, from the patio, was beautiful. The location is very close to local things to do and still within a good driving distance from other things to explore. The host was very nice and welcoming. Overall, we had a good stay.

The Mystic Portal was awesome! Marianne and the guys were such wonderful people. They were so welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the Springs. It's in a nice, quiet area in a convenient location with amazing views. You won't be disappointed!

This was a fantastic stay! Marianne was a great hostess! We had a hot breakfast every morning and she was great company just to hang out with. I would especially recommend this place for any musicians. Marianne is a fantastic singer/songwriter who will share her voice with you if you ask! And there are instruments abound in the house, so if you're so inclined, pick one up and play along with her!
