We had a wonderful experience in Marc & Karin's house. The room is very clean, cozy, and well separated from the other rooms. The place of the house is fantastic, just in front of a beautiful forest. We appreciate Marc and Karin's hospitality and kind help, and undoubtedly suggest staying at their house!

We were looking for a relaxing time in New Hampshire, and received exactly that. Barb and Av (and Majia (?), the dog) made us feel at home away from home. Always up for a chat and ready with helpful suggestions, but leaving us to ourselves when we preferred. They provided a relaxing and accommodating atmosphere in the beauty of their home on top of the hill. We certainly hope to return someday!

Barbara and Av are some of the kindest people I got to know over airbnb. They not only make you feel at home, they're also a pleasure to talk to. They helped me find nice spots in the area to hike. The house is conveniently located at lake Winipesaukee with the White Mountains National Forest close by. The bedroom is huge (!), features it's very own bathroom and can be accessed easily through the backdoor of the house. The house is so pretty that it could be out of a picture book. Unfortunately, I didn't use the fire pit, but I can imagine myself doing that the next time I stay with them. I can absolutely recommend Barbara and Av and would love to come back myself at some point.

Our expectations were high, but this surpassed all of them, namely because of the warmth, genuine openness, and generosity of our hosts. We were visiting New Hampshire for a Triathlon race, and Barbara and Av welcomed us with open arms,. The room was immaculate, comfortable and private, with a really nice bathroom (and a huge tub, which was great to soak our strained muscles in.) Leading up to our trip, they were super responsive and helpful. Once there, it became evident pretty quickly that Av and Barb very much know how to host, and seem to genuinely enjoy doing so. They were respectful of our privacy, and also welcomed the occasional discussion around a beer and a nice fire. They had recommendations for what to do in town, where to hike or grab a pint - they were there to help and to help us appreciate a piece of land they know so well. As an aside, if you’re into the whole locally grown, small subsistance farming thing, you’ll really enjoy learning how they harvest their small piece of land. I learned tons of them, they were incredibly generous both with what they have, with their stories. Felt like meeting some new friends. Thank you for the wonderful stay. We could not recommend it more!

We've stayed at several short term vacation rentals and this place by far is our favorite. Location was perfect; few min walk to town. The room and en suite were much bigger than we expected. Barb and Av were great hosts. They suggested a great hike and restaurants in town. Breakfast was great too. Loved their homemade jams and syrup!! They have an amazing golden retriever too who quietly sat on the porch with us while we played cards. We certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot in Meredith. You won't be disappointed!

Av and Barbara are lovely. I wish I could've spent more time with them! The room was beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place and hope to visit again soon.

Barb & Av were very gracious hosts. Our breakfast together was lovely & it felt like I was just kicking back with friends. The home itself is beautiful and very easy to find. It's on a quiet dead-end, but completely accessible to the small bustling downtown. Just a short walk to shops, places to eat & the town docks. Great communication from booking up until I arrived made my stay such a breeze. The room itself is very spacious and beautifully decorated, you can tell they really love their home. I really admired the bathroom, the colors and space were amazing. I only wish I could've got in a long soak in the huge bathtub! I'm so glad I found this place to stay during my brief trip to the area. It's definitely made me want to visit again to explore more!

Barbara & her husband made us feel extremely welcome. They had a campfire going when we arrived. They went above and beyond to help make our stay amazing- including providing a temporary solution for a broken motorcycle kickstand. They made us an amazing breakfast both days and had it ready to go when we woke up. They are very laid back and great hosts. My fiancee and I have stayed at many airbnbs in US & Europe and this was one of the best. We wanted a weekend away and to be able to easily get to the bike week festivities at Laconia. The bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms and bedroom were spotless and the house itself was gorgeous inside. We would definitely stay again! Thanks for your hospitality.

Barb and Av were incredible hosts! The bedroom was clean and spacious and every detail was taken care of in advance. They cooked us a delicious breakfast on Saturday morning, which was a wonderful treat! This property will be our first choice when we are in the area again.

This place was amazing! We were up for a wedding and thought we would try this rather than a local hotel..we are so glad we did! Everything was set up for us and we couldnt have asked for a better set up. Charles and his wife were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. No stress, no worries and no suppresses. They have this whole thing figured out. We would definitely stay there again and recommend them to anyone! Thanks again guys!!

My wife and I could not have been happier with the accommodations and our experience in this suite. The bedroom is good sized and there is a cozy second bedroom but for us the biggest plus was the large sitting room area with comfortable couch, Bose sound system, Apple TV, and overall very relaxing atmosphere. Charles and Nicole were fantastic hosts and I strongly recommend taking the charter boat tour with Charles, he really knows the history of the lake and the area and it was the highlight of our weekend trip. The house is centrally located and you can walk to the lake, a bunch of restaurants, and a good coffee place. We usually don't stay in "shared space" places but were very happy with the arrangement here. You can basically have the suite as an entirely separate place or, if you choose, you can say hello to Charles and Nicole and hang out for a bit. It's entirely up to you. We will be back soon (hopefully)!

Superb location, hosts, and environment to relax. Really a great little place with everything you need and any further advice from very gracious hosts. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

Charles and the space were both great. I was in town for a wedding and very much preferred this space to a traditional hotel room. It exceeded my expectations and would definitely recommend it to others.

This place is in the middle of town with lots of food options and watering holes if you choose. We were very pleased with our stay and will look him up again if we are back that way! Charles was at the house to show us around upon our arrival, and we found the guest quarters to be extremely clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable with lovely quality sheets and comforters, and we found every amenity possible in the bathroom. We will definitely stay at the Lake Street house again when we are in NH.

My husband and I had a lovely stay in Charles' Meredith home. It was the perfect location as we were in town for an event at Church Landing. Charles and his wife were lovely hosts and provided complimentary waters and other treats upon arrival. The suite was located within their beautifully decorated home and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend to other travelers.

Tricia and Bob were GREAT hosts.Our first Airbnb experience was more than we expected and I am going to say Tricia and the obvious work she puts into details pays off for all her guests.From our arrival until departure it was like staying with relatives(ones you actually like). Room and house are exactly as described and portrayed in pics and amenities were just as good as any high priced hotel. Tricia made me feel right at home. The room really was charming, comfortable, very private, and had all the amenities. I just wish I could have stayed longer. The location is perfect to enjoy the fun things about Meredith and Lake Winnepisaukee. I hope I'll have reason to return so that I can book with them again!

I loved the room at Tricia's. Very comfortable and relaxing. It was great to be within minutes of everything I wanted to do while on vacation. Downtowm Meridith has so much to enjoy with shopping and great places to eat ..Would defiantly stay there again .

My stay with Tricia and Bob was absolutely great, and the hosts themselves were even better. Their house is gorgeous, the room (suite, really) was comfortable, cozy, and exactly what I needed, the location was absolutely unbeatable, and even their dog was a sweetheart. But really, T&B were the icing on the cake themselves. They thought of little details I would have forgotten, and though I was pretty busy with a wedding all weekend they couldn't have been more accommodating, friendly, and inviting. Meredith is a fabulous lake town and I can't imagine you'll find a better place to stay than with these two. Would absolutely return for another long weekend getaway.

Everything about my stay was wonderful! Tricia replied promptly to my inquiry and the room was as described and more. There was a small refrigerator in the room stocked with water, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom well stocked and well lit. I was in Meredith for a wedding, and the location was perfect. You can't go wrong here!

The stay there was wonderful. Tricia is an excellent hostess that makes you feel very comfortable when you arrive. Goes out of her way to show you around the whole house and kept all the necessary amenities in the room for comfort. The home is extremely clean, neat and everything is organized. The home is also nicely decorated - she is clearly talented with home décor. Would definitely stay there again!

What a great couple of days we had on the lake. The place was perfect for our family, clean, convenient and beautiful. The view from the porch was amazing! My kids had a blast.

David's cabin was exactly as described, and even more charming in person. I stayed with my entire family (6 adults, 1 toddler, 3 dogs) and it was the perfect size space for us. The marina employees were all very friendly, and despite the constant stream of boaters coming and going during the day, we felt like we had adequate privacy within the cabin and on the deck overlooking the water. The evenings were especially peaceful, as there was very little activity in the marina after 6pm. Couldn't have asked for a better family getaway and hope to visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay on the lake. The view from the porch is amazing and David was very responsive with questions. The house is very roomy and comfortable.

We enjoyed a long weekend over Labor Day. House is clean, spacious and quiet. There is a lot of activity in the marina during the day, but it is not noisy. The kitchen is huge and well furnished. Excellent host. The view over the water is beautiful; sunrises are particularly nice. No convenient swimming access.

David was a great host - he made us feel very welcome, and even bought a new grill for the place when we discovered the old one wasn't working. The place is very nice, with great access to the lake. Thanks David!

The host was very helpful with directions and left a welcome book with suggestions of activities. The "cabin" was above a busy marina. It provided much entertainment and a beautiful view. Below was also a small store for snacks. The house offered little amenities to help you get by like soap, ziplock bags and dishwashing soap. Overall we loved this spot. Only 10 minutes to town. Thanks again for the great stay!

The cabin was fantastic. The views of the lake were stunning. We loved the deck and big kitchen. The master bedroom was huge and super comfortable. The place was incredibly clean and well cared for. The people in the marina were all gracious. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We loved downtown Meredith, and ventured off to a private swimming hole where we swam under a waterfall, and went up to Castle in the Clouds, which was an incredible adventure! We hope to be back again soon!

The place was perfect, perfect, perfect. It was exactly as described, but larger. Every room (and the deck) was large and spacious. The kind bed was very comfortable (good mattress). We had a boat and a dog, and this worked out better than we could have hoped. We had easy access to our boat, and loved to watch the marina activity during the day. It was quiet in the evening, with a few boats coming and going. There was a nice small fenced in area out back for the dog, so very easy to let her for a bathroom break. Having a small store right below the cabin, made it very convienent to pick up the basics (milk, eggs, beer, newspaper). The large deck offered excellent views of the marina, Pine Island and boats on the lake. Everyone at Y Landing was very, very nice, helpful and accommodating.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Joe & Beth's place during the Pond Hockey Classic in Meredith. It was the perfect location since we didn't want to drive & deal with parking. Everything we needed was in walking distance (cute shops/cafes/restaurants & a couple bars) and it was a quick 5 minute walk to the ice which was awesome. The house is huge! Since it's an old house on a quiet side street it got a little too quiet at night, if you're a light sleeper like me & can't sleep in silence I'd suggest ear plugs. We didn't really use the kitchen besides to store drinks in the fridge, but there was a keurig, microwave & stove so I'm sure cooking there would be no problem. The bathroom had bath and body works soap, body wash & lotion, the water pressure in the shower was great! The upstairs bathroom is tiny but not surprising, the pictures of the entire house are exactly as advertised. Joe & Beth were great hosts. They were so easy to communicate with & really accommodating. The day before we arrived they realized they had an issue with cable/internet that couldn't be fixed until Monday (we were leaving Sunday) and they gave us a discount which we really appreciated. There were a ton of dvds available & we ended up watching a few when we got back at night so it was totally fine. They were laid back about the check out (between 12-1) so we got to spend some more time on the ice Sunday before we left. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

This house is a gem! A beautiful charming house that easily accommodated our party of 6. We were so happy with the room arrangements and the location was amazing! Such fun to walk around the town. We will be back for sure!

Sally was great. She contacted me a day ahead to confirm arrival and departure and was very helpful with directions. The house is lovely and in a beautiful area, with walking trails nearby, which was an unexpected opportunity for us. Sally had baked goods (and homemade toast) for us in the morning, and was very open about our being able to make ourselves at home in the rest of the house.

Sally is an exceptional hostess. It lacks a nothing. Your house is gorgeous and a good starting point for trips to Lake Winnepesaukee. They surprised with homemade bread and homemade jam. Happy to sit with you at the table and talk about everything under the sun.

Lovely home, lovely accommodations, lovely hostess! Sally made my wife and I feel welcome in her home right away. She showed us our accommodations upon arrival, and the banana bread she was baking made the house smell wonderful. We stayed with Sally for two nights. Sally was a friendly hostess and also allowed us our privacy. Sally's property is next door to a popular farm and farm store on a quiet country road. A beautiful setting close to shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend!

The house was beautiful and on a very private quiet road. Sally was the best! She was so warm and welcoming and even made us coffee and got some fresh made apple cider donuts and muffins from the farm next door in the morning. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable! The heart of town is just a couple minutes away with pretty views of the lake. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Scott has an amazing cabin. The home is right on the lake & the wildlife comes right up to the sliding doors, it's great. I enjoyed the seclusion & really got to relax. Scott was very easy to communicate with & responded to my messages within minutes. He also left me hot cocoa which was a huge plus for my family. We will definitely return :)

Wonderful, quiet cabin right by the lake, and more spacious than advertised. Exactly what we were looking for. Scott was great about handling the check-in and check-out procedures.

Scott's cottage was lovely; it's quite compact but highly functional with updated features throughout. It sits on a lake with a number of other vacation homes, and the area was very peaceful and pretty. It's also close (3-4 min drive) to Meredith market place area with a number of restaurants if you wanted to eat out. It's also worth noting how starry the night sky was! Be mindful that the barn-style doors inside do not seal completely so sound travels easily. Scott was also extremely helpful and prompt, especially when we were a bit lost late at night around 11PM, but he was readily available to give us directions. We didn't have the time but Scott also left wheat ale for us in the fridge, which was a nice touch :) Overall, highly recommend Scott's cute little functional cottage!

Scott's place was perfect for us. Clean, excellent locale and as described, I would 100% recommend renting from Scott in the future. The cottage is on a gorgeous spot for the summer and winter, only a few steps away from the lake. It's very comfortable and well equipped in case you want to cook at home. Once again, I'd 100% recommend renting from Scott.

We really enjoyed our stay here!! A group of friends and I were traveling to Meredith for a wedding and couldn't have picked a better spot! The house was clean, had beautiful views of the water, and comfortably slept 6 of us. Gillie was quick to respond to messages (through Airbnb and also by text) and even gave some good restaurant recommendations. If you are traveling in the summer, I would definitely recommend bringing a fan. There are a few ceiling fans, but with no a/c, it got quite warm during the day. At night, we opened the windows and it was very comfortable with the breeze off the lake (I actually had to add a blanket to my bed one night). Overall, this was a great experience and would stay again!

This is a beautiful home right across the street from The lame. Our family stayed here while in town for a family funeral. it was large enough for 8 adults to spend the night and to have a family get together with other family members. A much appreciated place to stay considering there are no hotels open in November. I highly recommend this home! It has every thing we needed. The owner even set the beds all up for us!

This house was perfect. My 5 friends and I stayed here for the weekend and it was such a wonderful experience. The house is within walking distance to Meredith center where there are tons of restaurants and nightlife. There was plenty of space for sleeping and a great living room to hang out in.

Our two families had a phenomenal stay at The Porch. It was luxurious in every respect. Nice soaps in the bathroom, the fluffiest towels, beautiful bedroom suites, and a sprawling kitchen and living room. It is much larger than I imagined from the pictures; the upstairs bedroom is a small apartment with its own kitchenette and bathroom. Great for Grandma and Grandpa to get a little space from the kids. We hosted an impromptu family gathering in the living room, kitchen, and backyard with 20 people. We all had plenty of room to socialize. Right across from the lake, and walkable to grocery store and cute town shops. You can't miss!

We had a great stay at The Porch! It is an enormous house with a lot of space to hang out and stay comfortably; eh photos do not do it justice The master bed room is well protected from sound from the main area so me and my daughter could sleep without interruptions while to other persons in the house stayed up late. Only a short walk from the store or for the towns best sandwiches at Lakeside Deli & Grille!

Our stay at the porch over New Years was fantastic. The house had several bedrooms and a pull out couch which allowed the nine of us to sleep comfortably. The master bedroom suite had a number of amenities that made it the most luxurious section of the house. The fully stocked kitchen had a bar area which was awesome for entertaining larger groups. The open floor plan included a beautiful living room right off the kitchen which allowed everyone to be in the same vicinity. The location was exceptional due to its proximity to the lake, a super market, and a pharmacy, as well as popular Meredith eateries. Stephen was extremely helpful in the days leading up to our stay, quickly answering all of our questions and making sure we had everything we needed. Looking forward to our next stay at The Porch!

The house was very nice and well equipped. Melissa provided a lot of information on places things to do in the area (along with a map of the lake) which was very helpful. Melissa was very pleasant and responsive when contacted (there was a storm related 2 hour power outage). The neighborhood and people very nice, it was convenient to the lake and Meredith. Kayaking on the lake was great!

Loved Melissa's home. She really has everything you could need from linens to kitchen tools, to a baby gate.... Very kid friendly. The porch was the best part, sitting on the rocking chairs drinking coffee, and the air conditioners worked well for sleeping. She was awesome with responding to questions promptly and the neighborhood was great to walk around.

Melissa made sure we knew the specifics of the home and area prior to our arrival so that it was easy to transition into the home. We loved having access to the kayak and canoe, including the recommendation for the Stonedam Island hike. The house is spacious and very comfortable. There was more than enough space for our family of four, even on rainy days! Additional highlights were the firepit, accessibility to the White Mtns and Lake Winnipesaukee, and the information book Melissa put together.

A perfect escape!! Melissa's house is absolutely beautiful and her attention to local details, entertainment and restaurants was a fantastic help. We look forward to many more visits in the future.

The house was very nice, the wrap around porch and fire pit area were very relaxing, and it was great to enjoy the outdoors a little bit. Seeing the night sky covered in stars is not something you can really do in the city as well. House was very well appointed, and had a lot of amenities which we really enjoyed. The Kitchen is a bit small but very functional. Also, having 2 bathrooms is a bit rare, and that was definitely a nice touch. Everything you could ask for was already available, and Melissa was great, answered every question promptly, and clarified a lot of things for us. Only thing we ran into, which we didn't except ... the house is on a bit of a hill, there is a small lawn next to the fire pit, but that was it. Also, the neighborhood is a mix of vacation homes and full time residents, at least that was our impression. Really enjoyed our stay, would come back for sure at a future date.

Great house and location. Very clean, very comfortable, and on a quiet road. Great for four people (in the two bedrooms). Being able to use the canoe and kayak was a wonderful bonus. Easy 10-minute drive into Meredith (shopping/restaurants). We were there for three nights and would have been pleased if it was a longer stay. Melissa was responsive and easy to work with. We highly recommend this lovely house.

Location Location Location! It is right on the lake, with a beautiful outdoor space and dock. It was so relaxing to be there and a true retreat. It's a bit rustic, but is a good place for a laid back group who wants to have fun playing in the lake.

I would stay here again in a heart beat. Pamela was great, easy check in, great communication. The house itself was perfect for the weekend away. They have a great record collection that was perfect for sitting by the fire. I'd highly recommend staying here! Right on the water.

The neighborhood was beautiful and in a peaceful spot. The hosts answered all of our questions and responded quickly. The pictures do not do the space justice! The home and bedrooms are spacious and the beachfront was great! We we very comfortable with 10 people. We enjoyed the firepit, lake, and small beach area out front. I would highly recommend Spindle Point West to anyone!

Our host was was kind, friendly and easy to contact. All billing and communication was very efficient & fast. The location & home was nothing short of stunning. Frankly the photos don't do it justice. We were just blown away and can't wait to come back.

We loved our stay here in October! Our host was very accommodating, sticking around despite us get stuck in traffic to show us around the place. Fireplaces in every room, comfy furniture and some incredible lake views. Kayaked, swam, cooked and played all sorts of games. Would highly recommend!
