Rebecca and Virgil are the commensurate hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much. My husband said, and I agree, the shower was one of the nicest we've ever used. The dogs were wonderful and friendly. Even the toast and oatmeal Virgil made were delicious.

Beautiful home with such a peaceful aura all throughout the house. Everything is about 10-15 mins away which was very convenient!

As someone that has grown tired of staying at hotels, my boyfriend Ben and I decided to try Airbnb for the first time and we are pleased with our choice. We will soon be moving to Ohio and were nervous about the move because we do not know many people in the area, but after staying with Rebecca and Virgil our nerves have decreased significantly! Both Rebecca and Virgil are considerate, responsive and fascinating hosts. When we arrived, Rebecca did everything she could do to help us research apartments. She was quite helpful with making sure we found a place where we would feel comfortable calling our new home. Virgil was so accommodating for my dietary needs for the breakfast. He made a delicious dairy-free oatmeal from scratch for me every morning. He also introduced Ben and I to the yummiest sourdough bread ever! He even packed us some treats for the road! Both Virgil and Rebecca are talented artists. Their home was designed so consciously to keep their artistic hearts thriving – it truly is beautiful. If you are ever in the Dayton area and need a place to stay, consider Rebecca and Virgil’s home, you will not regret it. One more thing -- their dogs Zelda and Barney are cuties and will give you tons of kisses!

If I could give Rebecca and Virgil a 10 star review I would! They went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I had a great stay at their house. They showed us around, let us swim in their indoor pool and watch a movie while in it, were interesting and fun to chat with, and were awesome hosts!!! Virgil made me oatmeal in the am that was amazing- and had coffee, cereal , fruit and amazing pineapple juice. They are more than welcoming and accomodating and felt like family! would definitely stay here again!!!

What a treasure. Beautiful home. Loved our stay. Super clean, yummy oatmeal, and a really interesting collection of people, including the hosts, the puppies and the other guests. Highly recommend if you are staying in Dayton or just passing through. I hope to return and spend more time.

They are great people to stay with and home is beautiful.

This is the tenth and probably one of the finest AirBnb stays I have ever had. I'll start with the house. Gorgeous, recently and artistically remodeled. Huge, modern, safe area, beautiful yard. The bathroom has stunning marble and fixtures; the bedroom I had has a hand painted Victor Hugo poem on the wall; the living room is capacious and the kitchen shines with granite counters and bright blue tiles. I wish I had time to use the pool! Next, Rebecca and Virgil are two of the most friendly and personally attentive humans I have ever met. We spent a good two hours discussing music, travels, art, greyhounds (two very friendly ones, Barney and Zelda, live in the house!) and many other topics. Virgil makes great coffee and oatmeal in the morning, as well. They clearly care so much about providing a guest with anything and everything they could want or need, and I would go out of my way to stay with them again. This house and its hosts are a destination unto themselves.

Rebecca and Virgil's house is immaculate and beautiful I had s lovely stay. We chatted in the living room they offered fresh fruit and refreshments and Virgil made delicious oatmeal from scratch in the morning. Lovely safe neighborhood convenient to Dayton I hope to stay there again!

This was our first airbnb and beyond happy with it! Laura was amazing in helping us move days around and even going out of her way to clean faster. I fell in love with the house (didn't even want to leave) and couldn't be happier. We will definitely be staying again in the future! :) Thank you for such a great experience.

This was a fabulous find. My traveling companion and I wanted separate rooms - would have cost twice as much for two hotel rooms. Everything in the house is clean and well maintained. Everything you need for a comfortable stay and very well located in a safe neighborhood. Street parking was no problem. Beds were comfortable, bathroom and kitchen well appointed. Laura was accessible via text to answer our questions - even when we got lost and needed directions back to the house! I highly recommend this property.

This place was great! It was clean, had tons of character from an older home, yet was updated in a beautiful way!

This place was perfect. There are not a lot of Airbnb options in Dayton and Laura's place was great. It is in a central location and was very comfortable. Laura has taken time to think of everything. She had coffe and cream, snacks, a well-stocked bathroom with Shampoo, conditioner, extras if you forgot items. The bedding was very comfortable and the house was perfect for 4 people. I would definitely rent again when visiting Dayton!

Great location near UD campus, Carillon Park and easy access to quick travel downtown and an array of restaurants. Very comfortable home with Keurig coffee, flavored creamers (my favorite) and a dishwasher to aid in the clean-up for in-house breakfasts and meals (cooked or carried in). Wonderful backyard along with local playground for kids! Loved our stay in Dayton.

"Paradise" fits the description of this Airbnb.  Real-time communication, made our stay efficient and personal.  Our hosts greeted us with the exuberance of longtime friends waiting for us at the end of their flower-lined drive.  These delightful guest quarters sported a full kitchen fitting our "cook at home" lifestyle.  However, this vibrant, family-oriented town has festivals (Oktoberfest!), ice cream shops, fine dining, and delicious carry-out options within minutes as well!  WiFi connectivity and an HD TV with Roku afforded both business and downtime options.  Being minutes away from our main reason for visiting Oakwood, seeing our son, daughter-in-law and first grand baby made this our first choice.  (Our hosts indulged us by viewing our iPhone photos any time our paths crossed.) Now, we would stay here for any reason! We have booked our next stay and anticipate many happy returns!  Thank you, Kate and Roger, for a stellar first Airbnb experience!

Excellent location!

Kathleen had fresh fruit and fresh baked goodies both times I was able to stay there. She is very prompt with communication and the apartment is private and cozy.

Quant little place with character. Kathleen is so nice and welcoming. Home is in a great location next to nice restaurants and bars. And the homemade muffins were amazing!

Stayed here one night for a residency interview at nearby program. Was close, and had easy free parking. Kathleen communicated so well, and even responded to me last minute when I was in the car and couldn't find the address for my GPS (my own problem, as I am new to BnB). The place is suitable for an overnight stay with a small fridge, and kitchen, bathroom and small table. I enjoyed watching some cooking shows before bed. Kathleen was flexible with me when my check-in time was later than expected, and wrote me a nice note describing everything I needed since she was not able to personally greet me. She loft a few baked goods and fruit which was very appreciated!

Only there for a night but Kathleen made sure I had all the info I needed for a smooth arrival. The place was very private and had lots of charm! There was even food provided that was perfect for a quick snack. Would definitely recommend

Our stay here was wonderful. The house was great... Old and quirky, in a great way. My daughter loved it and the porch was a wonderful place to hang out. The neighborhood was just fine. There is a boarded up house at the end of the street, but there are also some stunning houses that totally out weigh the boarded up one.

Trish's house was perfect for our stay in Dayton. It is very comfortable and spacious. She has it stocked with everything you need to feel like you are at home! Our family enjoyed spending time hanging out in the beautiful yard and on the porch. I am familiar with the neighborhood as it is very close to my in-laws house, and although a block or two away, some of the magnificent homes are run down, it has never felt unsafe. The block were Trish's house is has several beautifully maintained homes and a small apartment building. I will definitely try to stay there again on future trips to Dayton.

We felt greatly welcomed by a full tour of the house by Trish who couldn't be there but was extremely attentive to our needs over the phone during our stay. We stayed comfortably warm in this nice large home with multiple rooms and living space enough to cater to a whole family. We enjoyed having a kitchen with everything we could've needed and the coffee provided was a nice touch. Everything was clean and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We needed a comfortable place to stay that had a charming historic feel. We found this in Trish's wonderful home in historic Dayton. She rolled out the "welcome mat" for us, making us feel that we had come home rather than were visiting from a far. What a lovely home, host, and city! We were in Dayton to celebrate our grandmother's 90th birthday and had family from three states in town to celebrate. This home was a perfect fit for 10 of us. It is centrally located with quick access to interstates and popular Dayton attractions. The home itself is GREAT, and Trish is a pro at setting it up to have whatever you might need for your stay - linens, air mattresses, toiletry items you might've forgotten, etc. She is a responsive & gracious host and made it clear that she wanted us to have a memorable stay. We had 5 kids age 8 & under in our party and were able to make good use of nearby parks and playgrounds. Grocery stores, malls, and Walmart are within a 15 minute drive. We were in town for 5 nights and were still unable to see everything we wanted to - and it wasn't even baseball or college basketball season. If we are in the area again, we would most definitely consider staying here. Recommended without hesitation!

My family traveled from New York to Dayton to attend my brother's wedding and staying in Trish's house was the best decision we ever made.I had 10 people including 5 children and the house was beautiful, well cleaned inside and big enough to fulfill all our needs. I was privileged to meet Trish in person, she is very kind and flexible. She did all she can to accommodate us.Trish thoughts about everything we may need including umbrellas which we used in the summer! The house is not located in the best neighborhood but people in the community was very respectful to us. The police is in few blocks away which made us feel even more safe. It was our first experience and we really enjoyed staying in Trish's house, we all felt like home away. I will definitely recommend the house to other people.

I needed a place that all my family could hang out during the day time while we were in Dayton for my wedding. Trish was very accommodating. We loved everything about the house and being close to everything around Dayton. Even though I didn't get to meet Trish she checked in on me when we arrived and responded to every email and phone call. I will definitely recommend Trish to friends and family visiting Dayton.

My stay at Coco's was perfect. As others have commented, it is spotless. It's larger than I thought, in a nice neighborhood, and was a unique, artsy, and pleasant/homey place to be. The bed and linens were some of the most comfortable I've experienced at an Airbnb. Check in/out was a breeze, and nothing but positives about all aspects. Love the bathtub decor.

What a wonderful WONDERFUL airbnb! Coco and her family went above and beyond the call of duty to be accommodating to us during our 18 day stay. They welcomed us with a SUPER CLEAN (the cleanest airbnb we've ever stayed at- hands down!) cottage that is well appointed with everything that you will need- a full kitchen, a brand new washer/dryer, fast wifi and AC that works like a dream. Coco's book collection, in and of itself, I would consider an asset because it is so expensive and intriguing that it was just a joy to browse the titles. The towels and linens that were provided at the cottage were of such impressive quality that I went out and bought sets of my own!! Additionally the neighborhood surrounding the cottage is historic and unique and yet very safe and just strikes you as having such heart because of all the effort that the homeowners have put into their restorations. We thoroughly enjoyed all the local non-chain restaurants and coffee shops w/in South Park. It was such a pleasure to stay here and to get to see what Coco and her family have done to breath life into this little house among others- I hope other future airbnb guests strike gold like we did. This suite in the Craven House is fabulous! Stefano and David are welcoming hosts. They are friendly while respecting privacy. We are very sensitive to strong scents, and they accommodated our needs very nicely. We were greeted by the delicious smell of their fresh baked cake for breakfast. Very highly recommend!

Stefano and David are delightful hosts! We were welcomed like family and enjoyed the historical background and tour of their fascinating home. The master bedroom is stately and elegant with a wonderfully comfortable bed. I really appreciated Stefano's communication with us even before our arrival. With traffic delays and a long day of travel, it was refreshing to be so kindly cared for!

5 stars! I've been using Airbnb for two years with over 150 encounters. I stayed at this property with my wife for three nights. Stefano's gorgeous Victorian home is exactly as depicted and even more impressive in person! The house has an interesting historical story to tell, which is displayed in the entrance. The outside of the house and garden are immaculate. The interior is breathtaking and designed with impeccable taste - mix of modern and classic. The bedroom was large and roomy and very clean. The bed was comfy. The bath was absolutely clean. Access was easy since users get their own pin to enter. The house is secured with a smart home security system. We were offered breakfast as a test, since this is a new experience for the host, and it was fabulous! Communication was excellent! They just moved into the home and will be making improvements as they go, but as one of their first guests, I can confidently say that this host will likely become the number 1 host in Dayton and beyond.

Our return visit was better than our frst because we were familiar with Stefano and David and their home! A lovely place to stay. Quiet, comfy, clean with wonderful hosts. Extremely helpful & enjoyable to spend time with, if you choose. House cats Stevie & Lily are adorable! Plan on returning every time we're back in the area.

Excellent house with spacious and bright rooms on the first floor, living room and very well equipped on the ground floor and laundry in the basement kitchen. Shared bathroom very clean and well equipped. Very quiet beautiful Garden District, 20 minutes by bus from downtown Dayton and 2 blocks from the bus stop. Andrew was very friendly and helpful at all times.

The place was nice, clean, in a quiet neighborhood. He provided some small shampoo bottles and soap, much like a hotel. He does rent more than one room out at a time. So you might end up meeting some other travelers during your stay. WiFi connection was also made available.

The neighborhood was really cute. House is nice and clean. My room was simple but had all the necessities--drawers, hangers, towels, clock, etc. I liked the touch bottle of having water and snacks in the room and that there was space for me in the kitchen and bathroom to keep some things.

Andy was a great host, he waited up for me even though my flight was super delayed and showed me around. The room was exactly as described and the bed comfortable.

Dana is the consummate host(ess). As advertised, her place is very comfy. I always felt welcome. I actually liked seeing her and her dogs; it felt like a very social stay. Even though I stayed for a long while, it never got old, at all! Little things, like soaps, shampoos, lotions, coffee from her Kurig (with sweetener and real cream)... made the stay so much more comfortable and inviting! Her dogs were affectionate beyond belief. Very cute and welcoming. The little one never stopped licking! (so cute) The big one was always glad to see me. Dana always knew when to give space, too. I didn't feel crowded, ever. In short - exactly what you would hope for from the perfect AirBNB stay. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone. No problems, no drama, and lots of smiles. Great stay!!!

Stayed here 2 nights for business. All I needed was a bed, iron, shower, and food recommendations and Dana checked each mark. The place very quiet and Dana and her 2 dogs were very friendly. She made my stay very easy.

Dana was a fantastic host and her house was lovely! The room was exactly as described and very comfortable. There were extra toiletries, with plenty of clean towels and blankets. Despite all the room's awesomeness, the friendliness of Dana and her dogs definitely made my short stay perfect.
