The Treehouse is an architecturally designed space for 2 with a private covered balcony running down one side with views over stunning gardens & countryside. Originally a famous printmakers studio, it is now a large & comfortably furnished light filled bolthole. There are floor to ceiling windows, (with blinds) a large living area with fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs is a romantic ensuite bedroom. The Treehouse is ideal for a relaxing break in a secluded location, 10 mins walk to Penzance.
Orchard Flower Farm is nestled within a beautiful valley just a few minutes drive from Penzance. The building is converted from an artist’s studio where the late Master printer, Hugh Stoneman produced work with highly acclaimed artists such as Sir Terry Frost, Patrick Heron, Sandra Blow and many others. The property itself is finished to a very high standard, including art work from the artists that originally worked in the space. With an open plan lay out, the Studio is light and airy, and with one wall comprising of floor to ceiling windows it allows uninterrupted views of the valley. With only the sounds of birdsong and water running in the stream, it is a perfect place to find peace and quiet. Guests also have full access to the 6 acres of land joined to the property and a wide range of walks in the surrounding area.
The studio is in a truly secluded position surrounded by 4 acres of wonderful Cornish gardens is located close to Penzance, the historic maritime port of Penzance, just 2 miles inland from the Cornish Coastline. St Ives, Lands End, Marazion, St Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre, Porthcurno Beach and the surfing beach of Sennen are all less than 10 mins drive away so there is plenty to see and do. West Penwith, the area of West Cornwall close to Penzance has lots of thriving and recommended, restaurants, bars and galleries to visit. Thi part of the world is well known for its stunning coastlines which are all accessible from the South West Coast Path. We also have some amazing tropical gardens. There's plenty to see and do - alternatively you can just chill with some magnificent views.
  • What a lovely place! So remote and quiet - a perfect place to be shut away from the world but equally super close drive to the shops and lovely coastal walks. Thoughtful touches like books and DVDS for our stay as well. Thank you for having us xx

  • The treehouse was absolutely wonderful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. The place had everything we needed so we were able to cook in most nights very easily. We also got a lot of local advice from Emma and Linda which we explored during the days, even managed to do a lovely long walk in the sunshine (in march, a lovely surprise). The place was very clean and had a very comfy bed! Mainly it's waking up surrounded by nature that is the most relaxing and enjoyable part about this place! Definitely recommend!

  • It was our second time in Cornwall, and after a stay in a pretty basic flat in Penzance last time we decided we wanted something a bit out of town and in nature. This place fits the bill perfectly! Easy to get to, close to everything, but hidden away down a small lane to give you a very private and very beautiful space. You wake up in the morning overlooking the trees and fields with nothing around you but nature, it's a good way to wake up! The place is very clean and has all the amenities you need for a short or a long stay. A big kitchen is available so it really feels like a home away from home. Beds are comfortable, and you can watch the stars from the bed or the bathtub through the skylights. We had a stubborn little cat visiting a few teams who was just the sweetest. If you don't like cats he's very easy to shoo away and won't come back.. but we couldn't resist its fluffy cheeks so gave him lots of cuddles. The host provides a plethora of tips and suggestions for things to do nearby so you're never short on ideas. Highly recommended, would visit again, 10/10

  • Great place for a quiet weekend get away. Very peaceful with the river running below and the sound of birds in the trees. Close proximity to St Ives and not far into Penzance. Great communication and information before our arrival which made the whole trip hassle free.

Set in the heart of Mousehole, The Lookout is a cosy space that offers everything you need for a short stay. The decor is modern and airy. The bed is raised and accessed by steps to give guests a sea view. There are lots of cushions so it can also be used as a sofa. The suite includes: Smart TV; DAB radio; wardrobe and storage; bar stools; mini fridge; toaster; crockery; kettle with tea/coffee (but no cooking facilities); large freestanding bath; separate shower; private entrance and courtyard.
This is an idyllic and peaceful retreat for two. We’ve been told by our guests that it’s a ‘real gem’, ‘perfect bolthole’ and ‘made them feel like a local’ ‘in a home from home.’ The accommodation is private and central. Please note there are no cooking facilities other than a toaster and kettle as it doesn’t have a kitchen area. The Lookout is attached to a family home in the heart of a bustling Cornish village with a beautiful harbour and beach. Its location is ideal to get to everything Mousehole has to offer including fabulous restaurants, deli, cafes and galleries.
Mousehole is a beautiful Cornish village packed full of charm. The small beach is often far warmer than the forecast as it's protected by the harbour walls. It has a wide range of high quality restaurants and cafes. As it is part of the South West Coast Path, it also makes an ideal stopping place for walkers. The village is only a short car journey from St Michael's Mount, the Minack Theatre, Land's End and lots of beautiful beaches. We also benefit from a fantastic bus service that runs every 30 minutes. During the winter season, the village comes to life with its fabulous Christmas lights and the procession for Tom Bowcock's Eve.
  • Managed to park on coastal road so was free, two min walk to property. Had amazing nights sleep, lovely walk round the area and the best bath we've ever had. Such a gorgeous space, thanks for hosting us!

Our cottage is a cosy converted blacksmith's workshop in the ancient Cornish town of Marazion - home to St Michael's Mount & in Poldark country! One of the oldest properties in Marazion, the cottage is just off the main street and the SW coast path.
The Old Forge is a cosy converted granite blacksmith's forge in the beautiful Cornish seaside town of Marazion, with exposed stone walls, real wood flooring and a cast iron log burner (perfect for snuggling up in front of!) as well as a range of beautiful original features including the old blacksmith's shop front, deep window seats in the thick granite walls and even a lintel made from a reclaimed ship! It has a new, fully equipped and beautiful country kitchen with wooden worktops, an electric range cooker, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and Smeg fridge-freezer, and a bathroom with a cast iron roll top bath with electric shower over. There is a farmhouse dining table and 4 chairs in the living room. The property has two bedrooms - a double and twin. The double room features an old exposed chimney breast and velux windows - perfect for stargazing on a warm summer evening. The twin room has a beautiful exposed granite wall and original wooden beam. Marazion is on the South West coast path with beautiful beaches (including a dog-friendly year-round beach) great for walking and bathing, and famous for windsurfing and kitesurfing. A 5 minute walk through the old main street of Marazion, the town centre features several fantastic pubs and restaurants, including the exceptional Ben's Cornish Kitchen (winner of the Cornwall Life Food & Drink Award 2014), the Godolphin Arms and a number of cosy pubs including The King's Arms (highly recommended for a Sunday roast), The Cutty Sark and The Fire Engine Inn. We are very happy to welcome guests with a well-behaved dog (or two!) however please bear in mind that the property does not have a garden (although there are several patches of grass and a playing field within a 30 second walk of the front door). We can also recommend some fabulous walks - all tried and tested by our labrador, Moo. We run an eco-conscious cottage so, as far as possible, everything provided in the cottage (where applicable) will be local, organic, environmentally-friendly and/or Fair Trade. We really love sharing our little cottage with other people and are very grateful for having such lovely guests who take good care of it during their stay. If anything does get damaged or broken during your stay please do let us know ASAP - we really don't mind (these things happen!) however we often have guests checking in the same day you check out and knowing in advance means that we can make sure items are fixed or replaced before our next guests arrive. Please note: There is no allocated parking provided however you will be able to park very close to the house on one of the adjoining, unrestricted roads. We are very close to the sea here so in the spring and summer it's not uncommon for the seagulls to start their morning chorus quite early! We've tried asking them to wake up a bit later however this doesn't appear to have worked as yet . . .

Beautiful Mousehole apartment with panoramic sea views, private parking and a large garden. Large master bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and a living/dining room with sofa bed. Sun trapped balcony overlooking the village.
Mousehole Village was described by Dylan Thomas as 'the most beautiful village in England. ' Its fisherman's cottages cluster around the safe harbour, where you can swim among the boats, or sunbathe on the sheltered sandy beach. There are excellent restaurants, a lovely old pub, a village shop and Post Office, and lots of arty shops selling local crafts and other interesting and beautiful things. Nearby there are wonderful beaches, tiny coves and the South West Coastpath goes right through the village.
  • Lis is a fantastic host I highly recommend staying at her apartment, with parking right outside, it felt very homely with the open fire and also sea views are amazing. We shall be returning again in the future. Brilliant to say the least.

  • This place is a real gem perched up high in a beautiful part of Cornwall. The views are breathtaking! We really enjoyed our stay to celebrate my husband’s birthday! The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. There is everything you need for a relaxing break. We especially enjoyed the open fire which we lit in the evening. We hope to return again in the future. Julian & Christina

  • A cozy flat with great views of the sea. We experienced typically inclement weather in January but loved just hunkering down in front of the fireplace. Great maps ! Nicely equipped kitchen. Lis is a friendly and responsive host.

    Alice2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Lis' place was perfect, great views, but also a nice welcome. Lis came to check that everything was fine, without feeling invasive. She shared some good tips about the area, which is really beautiful, even in the middle of winter :)

Hand-built and high-spec, this magical shepherd's hut has all the essentials for a peaceful, revitalising few days away. Breathe in the sea air and the wild, rugged beauty of the surrounding coastal paths before snuggling into the bedroom blankets.
We have made a comfortable, cosy space ideal for a couple or for one person. There is space for a travel cot if you wanted to bring a little one. The underbed space is left free for you to put all your bags and cases out of the way so you can relax and unwind whilst you're here. There is a great eco efficient radiator that keeps it really warm and plenty of throws and cushions to cosy up with! There is a small breakfast bar and stools in the kitchen area so you can prepare and eat some meals if you want to. We will leave a welcome pack of essentials for you ( milk, tea, bread etc) to tide you over till you get to the shops! We provide bed linen and towels so you don't need to worry about those...
This tiny hamlet of just a few houses lies in an area of Cornwall famed for its history of tin mining. The local pub is just a few steps away, with good food and live music. The popular and lively beach towns of St Ives and Penzance are also nearby.
  • In a great location. Very clean and very cosey in the bad weather.

  • The Sheppy was perfect for our 2 night stay in St Ives over New Year. Trisha was incredibly helpful and made sure the heating was on before we arrived. The Sheppy was super cosy, a great space for my partner and I and our puppy Molly. The fields beside the cabin meant Molly was able to have a lovely off-lead walk and play. It was a 5 minute car journey into St Ives and the off road parking meant get to and from into town was super easy. A delightful stay. Thank you so much.

    Laura2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Where to start... Trisha and Allan went above and beyond to make sure not only our stay was amazing but also ensured our Christmas Day was unforgettable! Thank you so much for having us! If you’re ever in Sydney let us know :) :)

    Emma2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a such cute little place to stay! Trisha made it feel so homely. Great fields to walk the dog which was a bonus. They went the extra mile and added breakfast bits which was amazing. Allen was great too giving us great advice on the location and walks for us. He wasn’t wrong about the Thai restaurant either amazing food. We loved this place sure to visit again. Peaceful and amazing!

    Melissa2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful stay at The Sheppy. It is a beautiful little shed, that had everything I needed for a few nights in Cornwall. I met Trish briefly, but her husband Alan checked in on me a few times to make sure everything was ok. The Sheppy is in an ideal location, as it’s a few minutes drive from St Ives, and I was able to watch the most beautiful sunrises each morning over the fields! Will definitely return on my next visit to Cornwall.

    Vivienne2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful week at The Sheppy. It is in a nice location, opposite a cozy pub with great food. The owners had filled the fridge well, which was a pleasant surprise. And especially the heineken was appreciated. Were further received friendly and received many tips about the area. Recommended!

The cabin is tucked away in the beautiful, unspoilt countryside of west Cornwall, between St Ives and Penzance and close to a choice of idyllic beaches. It has a double bed, plus sofabed, tea/coffeemaking facilities, a small fridge for your breakfast supplies and a great shower (hand and bath towels are provided). It's in a quiet hamlet with a great pub opposite, The Engine Inn ((URL HIDDEN) which has a great atmosphere, good food and regular live music. My husband Alan and I have lived in this house for over 20 years and raised our three children here in this lovely spot. We're on a B road which has buses to St Ives and Penzance stopping outside every hour. It's a fabulous place to stay and an ideal base to explore the moors and unspoilt countryside of West Penwith. We enjoy meeting new people we look forward to having guests come to stay and discovering the area. We are easy going types who are used to having a housefull! We both work; I am an educational home visitor for young disabled children and I also design and make silver and enamelled jewellery. Alan is a plumber and heating engineer. The cabin is opposite our house and you are welcome to use the garden. There is parking available just behind the accommodation. There is a sofabed which could accommodate a child (or two small ones, maybe!). There are tea and coffee making facilities and continental breakfast (cereal, muffins or bagels with jam and marmalade, juice and yogurt) is provided. On a sunny morning it's lovely to sit outside and enjoy the peace and tranquility.... We look forward very much to meeting you!
  • We loved the cabin! It was a quiet and cosy spot, full of thoughtful touches from Alan and Trisha. We arrived quite late but we still had a warm welcome from Alan who had everything ready for us, he even brought us a couple of beers from the house. The location, halfway between Penzance and St Ives was ideal for us because we were aiming to see as much of Cornwall as possible. It was such a lovely stay and we would recommend it to everyone.

    Sandra2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect stay. Beautiful relaxing settings and very cosy with so many little thoughtful extras by the host, such a nice touch to include the continental breakfast. Fab location, 5-10 min drive to St Ives but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside! Great communication. Would 100% recommend!!!

    Gemma2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Trisha's cabin is lovely. It's cosy, private, clean and has everything you need and more. Location wise, it's really close to everything, nothing is more than 10 mins drive. We enjoyed our time there and we think it offered great value for money. Thank you Trisha for the breakfast, that was very kind of you and a lovely touch. Alex & Andrada

  • My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the cabin. It is clean, cosy and comfortable (a great shower) and Trisha was helpful and friendly. It’s in a beautiful village setting, peaceful, with a lovely local pub across the road which serves local Cornish ales and food. The location is central to lots of lovely places - St Ives, Porthcurno, Mousehole and Land’s End. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend!

  • My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at The Cabin. Trish and Alan were excellent hosts who made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. A great summer getaway in an idyllic, rural location!

Beachside Apartment provides a fantastic location for an escape to West Cornwall. Located just a few minutes walk from the stunning beach at Porthcurno, the apartment is modern and bright and a perfect base for a holiday for two. Recently refurbished, Beachside has a double bedroom and large bathroom with walk in shower. The open plan sytle kitchen and living room is spacious and the skylight means laying back on the large sofa and watching the clouds float by is a great way to relax.

    Dominic2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • great place! really stylish clean cozy and right in the center of town. it’s an authentic surfer’s place and the decor reminds you of this.. great selection of books too. really cool design.. nice window seat and whole place is very modern. very good value for space.. there’s no grocery in town, but the cable station inn down the street is great for meals and also does take out food and beers.

  • A great little pad to come home to, when you've gone here and there. A great place to cook, chat and chill.

    George2018-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is modern, stylish and comfortable with a great skylight that makes it bright and airy. It is an excellent location for the beautiful Porthcurno Beach and for the Minack open air Theatre which we went to on the Friday night (if you go you need to book ahead and bring extra warm clothing as it can get quite cold at night up on the cliff even in summer). We stayed 3 nights and on the Sunday the weather was lovely so we walked the cliff path from Minack theatre all the way to Lands End, 5 or 6 miles all up, and got the bus back (take the one to Penzance and the first stop back is Porthcurno) - the walk was tiring for us oldies but well worth doing as the views and coastline are amazing. The Beachside apartment has just about all you need for a self contained holiday for 2 people - toaster, kettle, pots and pans, crockery, utensils, etc. Bedding and towels supplied but it is self catering so do bring your own toiletries, food, etc, including your tea/coffee and milk. There is the a proper oven and hot plates but no microwave. I'd love to stay there again.

    Isobel2018-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really great space! Few minutes walk to the beach with excellent coastal hiking trails leading to Land’s End. The Minack Theatre is within a short walking distance and there’s a nice pub close by for dinner & drinks! Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quieter, off the beaten track, getaway!

  • Had a really great stay at the apartment. Stylish, clean, with great facilities. Loved the complimentary drinks! Amazing views of coast, and sunrises, will definitely stay again!

  • This place is wonderful. The views are staggering and it was lovely eating breakfast watching the sunrise over the bay. The apartment has excellent facilities and is just what we needed after a stressful few weeks. During our stay we needed to contact the owner and our issue was sorted promptly and communication was excellent. This is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing break in one of my favourite parts of the world. Make use of the binoculars, there's so much to see!

  • This place is amazing. The beach is literally 5 minute and walk and very beautiful, both on rainy and sunny day. I will definitely stay at Mel’s place again.

  • This host is fantastic! They have taken great care to make this a special trip. Their attention to detail, organization, cleanliness, etc is top notch. The property has everything you need and more! And if that isn’t enough, the views of the beach (with easy access to footpath and historic Minnak Theatre) is breathtaking! Highly recommended!

  • This apartment is a little jewel. It is magnificently situated with exceptional views over the coast. The host has thought of everything and so you feel really cared for. The standard of cleanliness is immaculate , the towels are capacious and soft, the beds really comfortable. I couldn’t think think of anything I might need for my stay which wasn’t provided.Thank you......

  • Lovely location-so close to the Minack Theatre and the view from the condo was spectacular!

    Sharon2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The views from the apartment are spectacular - the sea s so blue, you could be in the Caribbean. The location is perfect for the beach and the Minack theatre which is well worth a visit and for a show if you can. The apartment is well furnished and has everything you need; there is a pub 2 mins walk down the road (functional if not picturesque ! ) and a cafe. The Telegraph museum is also worth a visit ( don't miss the escape tunnels ). A walk west along the coastal path for approx 1 mile brings you to Porthgwarra and a welcome coffee stop.

  • You stay atop the SW Coast path, within a gull’s cry of the Minak Theatre. Sea views abound from the picture windows and for us, a warm and cosy space, on a storm lashed weekend. The studio is compact but well appointed and will give you a great base from which to explore this amazing area of Cornwall.

  • Driftwood is a lovely place to visit. A lovely beach is a short walk from the house and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. There is a lovely view from the living room to the beach. The house is toasty all day even in winter and it was very clean throughout. I would recommend visiting, the value for money is great. Thanks again!

    Lauren2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing location and perfect space for a weekend away, even in a storm! Also close to st ives and other towns. Hope to return in summer.

    Holly2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing place to stay with breathtaking views and a location second to none. The ability to visit some fantastic beaches and coves within a 30 minute walk in either direction cannot be measured in monetary value! A cosy stay, with a comfortable bed & large sofa with all amenities covered in the kitchen also meant we wanted for nothing when were inside. Jessica is a great host too so everything added up to a memorable few days in Kernow.

IDEAL FOR HOLIDAY + BUSINESS. Up to 40% DISCOUNT for weekly/monthly long stay now available. Belgravia Loft is just a 15 min walk from the train/bus station, the Isles of Scilly Ferry Terminal & just around the corner from the cinema, theatre, shops, restaurants and galleries. We are also a gentle 15 min stroll from Jubilee outdoor pool, the harbour, two parks & the promenade. Stunning view of Mounts Bay, St Michaels Mount and Penzance harbour. We welcome singles, couples and business travellers
Your room is on the 2nd floor of this 19th century town house and is accessible through a trap door. As you enter the room you are first greeted by a stunning 180 degree view of the bay through a 3-sided box window. The size of the room is very comfortable: Floor area: 4 x 5 meters (approx) Roof height: 2.2 meters at highest point of pitched roof. Toilet and washing facilities: You have your own en-suite toilet and butler sink which are located within glass block partition walls and are accessible via cafe style swing doors. Kitchen: You also have your own kitchen area where you can prepare breakfast and packed lunches. This consists of a wooden work top, crockery/cutlery for 2 people, mini fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. Breakfast: Sadly a cooked breakfast is not available but cereal, milk, tea, coffee will be waiting for you when you arrive. Food supplies are easily accessible with a Tesco local, 2 Co-ops, a vegetable shop and an Archie Browns within a 5 minute walk of the house. Shared bathroom: Directly opposite the bottom of the stairs to your room is a spacious toilet and shower room which you are welcome to use. Fire information: We have taken the following the steps to ensure that in the unlikely event of a fire you will be as safe as possible: - Fire buckets and fire extinguishers have been installed on the first floor and in your room. - Smoke alarms have been installed on the ground floor, first floor and in your room. - The hatch door to your room has been made out of fire retardant 18mm plywood - A fire escape rope ladder has been installed in your room. Electricity: There is a £1 coin meter which supplies all the sockets in the room. This will be topped up with £5 which should be enough for your stay. However if you run out simply insert more coins and continue to enjoy your room.
Belgravia Street is a quiet, residential street even though we are very close to the centre of the town. However I feel I should point out that there is a social club further along the street opposite which stages evening events, mainly at the weekends. This means that occasionally there may be a few customers standing outside the club in the evening chatting until 10 or 11pm. The noise is minimal and can be reduced substantially by keeping the front window of your room shut.
  • Andrew and Winnies place was lovely. It is a bright loft conversion and with private kitchen and toilet. There are many nice touches like some cereal and milk and lots of leaflets about the area. It is nice and warm with an electric blanket too. Thanks for a brilliant and relaxing stay!

  • I was extremely comfortable at Michels lovingly done up house. The room was very clean and cosy, with a selection of books, a TV and kettlE w tea and coffee. The noise from the street in the description was barely noticeable, especially when I closed the window. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The full english breakfast (veggie sausage option!) was delicious and since its served in a sort of attached winter garten I could hear and watch the birds outside. The cute little Apple Tree Cafe just a few walking minutes from the house and serves delicious cream tea. I highly recommend Micheles place!

We very much enjoyed our stay, went for some great walks around the local area and did a bit of touring around. Luckily the weather played in our favour, which made the experience even better. We'll be visiting again.

Hello and a warm welcome.. Looking for a unique, rustic, quirky, tranquil and cosy getaway.. ?
Merrifield Lodge came into existence 25 years ago. Our unique family built cabin started off as a simple garden shed with the aim to use as an art studio for myself to paint in. Over the years various family members have stayed here and being part of a large family, the 'shed' gradually extended in an unusual and organic manner whereby reclaimed materials (mainly wood) were used to attach rooms to accommodate an ever growing family. Now all the family members have moved on and found a foot in the world we’ve decided to share our beloved cabin with you. Merrifield Lodge is a quirky wooden cabin with a warm, cosy and welcoming feeling, full of charm and tons of character.
The kings arms pub in the village just a short walk away that serves homemade meals throughout the day. No need to get in a car for those who enjoy walking, the location is surrounded by open fields, there are many fantastic walks in all directions.. great for Dogs! Those who are interested in historic sites the Merry Maidens stone circle is a lovely 45 minute walk across the fields too.
  • Lovely layout in cabin. Very well thought out. Great location as well!

  • Really lovely place me and my family plus Barnie the dog loved it. Very understanding when I got our dates wrong I forgot to check out 😩 (Senior moment) Would love to come and stay again

    James2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely place, quite quirky. Loved Claire's artwork. Nice, clean and well equipped. Was quite cold when we returned (we didn't want to waste electric leaving heaters on whilst we were out for the day) and took a little while to warm up, but was nice and cosy with all the heaters on! Never met Claire, but communication prior to departure was good.

A large and comfortable room in a beautiful spot, next to Cape Cornwall Golf Club's restaurant and swimming pool. Three windows- very light with amazing view of the only Cape in England. This cosy cottage is open plan but also has space. Tea/coffee in room. Wifi, DVD/TV,selection of DVDs but no TV channels. Please note that the large bathroom is downstairs with good shower/bath. We have two friendly Labradors who love guests! Log fire every night in the winter. Friendly hosts!
Your room overlooks the only Cape in England! One mile from St Just, which is a very small town with pubs, cafes and eateries and many unique craft shops. Although Cape Cornwall Club (golf and leisure) is next door, it is very quiet here.
Not many people live on the Cape. It is a very small and peaceful community. The cottage was the first dwelling on the Cape. The cottage was formerly the farm cottage of Nanpean Farm, until the golf club was built in 1991. The club house of the farm was created from the farm stables.
  • A lovely home in a great location. I was a first timer to Air B&B Jo & Chris (and their beautiful dogs) were so welcoming and provided exceptional advice for places to visit locally, I had a great stay and would highly recommend 😊

    Liz2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is very close to the coast footpath, really good location for both outdoors adventures and trips to nearby towns. Very friendly and helpful hosts providing easy going atmosphere and tips to make the most of the time in the area. Great place to stay!

    Ella2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Ah we here go! If the Airbnb website worked as well as the hosts to make your booking and stay an enjoyable experience! I almost gave up trying to book but I'm glad I didn't. Lovely hosts with 2 friendly dogs and a lovely spacious room overlooking Cape Cornwall. I managed to tick the all the boxes with body boarding, walks and bird-watching. Cape Cornwall is home to the Chough - symbol of Cornwall. Ticked all the boxes with the local cuisine too fish & chips, pasty and cream tea with homemade jam and Rodda clotted cream. Trips to some of the smaller towns and attractions were interesting and Penzance high street is still vibrant despite the 3 out of town supermarkets. Tea, coffee and 2 towels provided plus extra blanket for the bed. Nice big bathroom downstairs. Would highly recommend, Dave

    David2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jo and Chris were truly wonderful hosts. They made me feel incredibly welcome and at home, and I was able to completely relax which was lovely. The location of the cottage is perfect. You have the coastal paths on your doorstep as well as a wonderful view of the cape. St Just is only a 5 minute drive away (or a 25 min walk if you’re feeling energetic!), and the golf club next door has an indoor pool and gym if the weather is ropey. The cottage was extremely clean and the room is spacious and comfortable. The dogs are also incredibly sweet and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee machine was an added bonus! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

    Alicia2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Chris and Jo are fabulous hosts. The old school Airbnb experience. Sharing space, but also life stories, and local tips. There's great hiking in the vicinity, but also further out.

The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed, the bedrooms are lovely and the bed divine! The bathroom was sparkling. I loved waking up to the beauty of the Cornish countryside every morning and every night coming home to this charming cottage. Rosie was an excellent host. So kind and easy to communicate with she really made my stay amazing! Fresh flowers and delicious ginger biscuits we’re waiting for me when I arrived. • I never leave reviews but me and my girlfriend absolutely loved this accommodation. Friendly hosts, clean accommodation and there was no need to grab food on the way in as what we grabbed was already in the fridge and cupboards when we arrived! This was 10 x more than we expected on arrival and small touches like candles lit outside the front door of an evening really made a huge impact. Easy to find, close to a really nice pub, incredible views. A real breathe of fresh air and exactly what’s needed after a drive to and walking around Cornwall. I would highly recommend Angela and her accommodation! Neil was lovely to, thank you both for a wonderful stay! - and for being so helpful even after our visit!

  • A really comfortable, well-appointed studio flat. Great location, very hospitable hosts, peace and quiet.

    Nick2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Angela's place is a home away from home. My wife and I chose to spend our holidays in Cornwall and Penver studio's location seemed like a perfect spot for an idyllic holiday. A bit detailed review is below. About the host. Angela is a friendly and kind host. No wonder her impressive hospitality has earned her the tag of a superhost! She gave us a warm welcome (and there were cake slices waiting for us in the studio!). She was our local guide who gave suggestions about the places to visit and the suitable timings to visit them as well. For example, she helped us confirm the timings for low tide for the day (causeway opening times) when we were supposed to visit St. Michael's mount in Marazion. She also offered to drive us to Marazion (since we did not travel by our own car). Such a sweet and kind gesture! About the studio. The studio is perfect for a couple. The ambience is homely and cozy. The place is very clean. Since we went in November, the room was warm enough and the bathroom floor could be heated whenever needed. The kitchen is packed with essential appliances and utensils. About the location. We could write an essay about the location. In short, picturesque landscape surrounds this property. The coastal walk to Minack theatre via Porthcurno beach turned out to be blissful to say the least. There are other pretty locations near the studio like Penberth Cove to explore.

The Rook's Nest shepherd's hut offers up a unique holiday experience. In a beautiful setting it is a delightful cosy but bright small space. An ideal base for exploring the west of Cornwall. Provided within this compact space is a comfy double bed with proper mattress, seating area, oven and hob, fridge, hot and cold water, bluetooth stereo, TV and woodburner with logs provided.
Snugly placed in a beautiful setting in the grounds of West Cornwall's oldest thatched farmhouse built in 1245. Set above a babbling brook next to St Loy woods it is a great retreat where you can feel close to nature. Often you will hear the hoot of an owl or the chatter of rooks. With a delightful ten minute walk through the St Loy woods, famous for the bluebells in spring, you can enjoy one of West Penwith's most stunning sections of coast. Placed between the historic harbours of Lamorna and Penberth it is in a great location for hiking the coast path. It is only ten minutes by car to Porthcurno where you can enjoy an evening's performance at the Minack theatre with the frequent sight of the local resident pod of bottlenose dolphins swimming across the beautiful Pedn Vounder beach. It is within twenty minutes of Sennen cove, Land's End and the historic tin mining town of St Just. It is also only a stone's throw away from many ancient sites including the Merry Maidens stone circle, Carn Euny and Chysauster. It would ideally suit any outdoor adventurers trekking the coast path, surfers checking out the quieter breaks or cyclists touring the wild and rugged west. With a bbq and picnic bench provided you can make the most of the summer evenings in this beautiful spot. In the winter you can cosy up in front of the wood burner after a wild day on the coast or moors. I mustn't forget to mention the unique turf roofed rustic hobbit hut toilet providing a hot shower too.
A very quiet and rural setting in a the tranquil wooded St Loy valley only a mile from the nearest pub and shop in St Buryan. It is a 15 minute drive to Penzance for supermarkets etc.
  • absolutely fantastic stay....the hosts thought of every detail and it was so comfortable and cosy-we will definitely be back! (Photos don't do it justice!) 100% recommend this gorgeous little hut!

It's a large room but cosy and offers good privacy and of course it's very well equipped with a basic kitchen included so you don't have to eat out every night. The house itself is charming and very homely. There is a shower room and toilet at the entrance to the studio but there is also a larger family bathroom upstairs if that is busy.
  • A cosy welcoming space with cute kitchenette and character ☺️👨‍🎨👍

We are nestled in the idyllic wooded Penberth Valley, 5 minutes walk to the Cornish Coastal footpath, and close to the many beautiful quiet coves and bays. This is an ideal spot to explore beautiful West Cornwall including the Minack Theatre and Land's End ( both 1.5 miles by road), Sennen cove (3 miles), Cape Cornwall, St. Ives and many wonderful gardens.
Our cottage has recently been renovated and we are offering a spacious, light attic bedroom with velux windows and an ensuite shower room. There is a king sized bed and we can offer a 'put me up' single bed in the same room if required. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room and we can provide breakfast and packed lunches to order. We can also put wine and beer in the fridge for you! If you enjoy walking, we can provide space for you to dry your waterproofs and boots/shoes. Likewise, if you enjoy swimming and surfing, we can offer drying facilities. A TV and wifi are available in the room. Penberth Valley is the perfect place to escape to. The night skies, wildlife and beautiful gardens make this a place of tranquility and serenity. Penberth Cove lies in the heart of some of the country's most picturesque coastline and beaches that includes Lamorna, Porthcurno, Porthgwarra and around to Land's End and Sennen Cove. The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is a stunningly positioned, unique cliff side open air theatre with year round attractions and shows popular with tourists. There are opportunities to walk the coastline and inland too, around Chycauster and Carn Uny and to visit the many wells and quoits. Swimming, surfing and kayaking are popular sports.
The Logan Rock Inn is a ten minute walk from the cottage, in Treen, and provides lovely food and amazing real ale! Treen cafe also offers pasties and crab sandwiches; ideal after a good walk to Logan Rock. There are many wonderful cafes around including Little Bo in Sennen and The Dog and Rabbit in St. Just. There are several pubs in the area.
  • Steve's place was five stars for all aspects. Stylish private space at the top of a family house, with your very own bathroom, tea and coffee facilities etc. The space is absolutely spotless and is located in the perfect spot - five minutes from the coast and five minutes from a great pub. All communication with Steve was prompt and it was a pleasure to meet him in person. I would love to come back one day.

It consists of a single storey room with a double bed and a bathroom with electric shower, sink and toilette. No kitchen facilities. There is underfloor heating and off street parking for one car. Originally the little barn was the washouse of the former farm complex. Completed restored now, you can still see the iron wash pot outside.
The barn is compact, but very cosy. The conversion took place about 7 years ago, to high standard. The cottage lies in the little village of Treen, which is very

Very clean and warm with underfloor heating. Only a 10 minute walk to the coastal path and close to some of Cornwall’s beautiful beaches. Pub nearby which we didn’t try but we will next time. • Nicoletta was an exceptional host, kind and understanding, who makes a delicious breakfast. She was knowledgeable about the local area, going so far as to take her dog for a walk with me in the direction of Pedn Vounder beach so I wouldn't get lost on the way. The bed was lovely and comfortable with crisp white sheets, the shower spacious and hot, the location peaceful and beautiful. Recommended.

My place is tucked away in the Hamlet of Bollowal, which is very close to the beautiful, rugged and wild coastal path of the West Penwith peninsula. A great location ideal for walkers and cyclists and those who love the great outdoors. I share my home with 2 friendly dogs (large and small), and 1 very fluffy cat. The house has a bohemian, rustic charm, in other words it is homely not pristine.
  • Location of the property is very good not far away from stunning coast and close to the town as well. Nice and peaceful. Ruth is is lovely lady with great tips on what to do and where to go in local area.

    Renata2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very charismatic accommodation in a secluded little hamlet mere minutes away from St. Just. We were put at ease by the host and felt welcomed as part of the family. Be aware that the sleeping area is in a converted loft, and as such, access is achieved by climbing a steep ladder. That said, it feels very snug in the loft, particularly if there is a Cornish storm a-raging outside....Definitely a place to stay for animal lovers who like a rural feel to their accommodation. The host, Ruth, is very friendly and incredibly helpful. We would happily stay here again.

    John2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Ruth is a very friendly host and has a very charming house! The dogs are very cute, we would recommend it any time.

    Denice2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Ruth is very welcoming and her house is in a hamlet located in what feels like at the end of the Earth but is a 20 minutes walk to the center of the town and more particularly to a great café, the Dog and Rabbit. Her dogs are very friendly. To be noted: the room doesn't have a door as it is in the attic which is accessed via a ladder/stairs. It was still very quiet and I slept like a log.

    Cécile2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Ruth’s place is beautiful, very comfy attic room, ideal for three people. The location is very good too, we enjoyed the walk through the fields by the light of the stars. She was an amazing host, cooked us some breakfast and had a really nice chat with her. We totally recommend staying here while visiting the area.

  • We had a lovely stay at Janet's little cottage. Her family was very friendly and helped us with questions around the local area. The place itself is cosy and a good place to stay if you're looking for something quiet, peaceful, away from the business and noise of cities. The view is spectacular, with ten minutes walking distance to the coast and the coastal path. A local shop is nearby and the bus connections to other villages and areas of Cornwall are regular and reliable. A beautiful place in a very picturesque landscape!

Also within walking distance of the village and bus service to Lands End and St Ives. Welcoming and friendly host with tips for things to do - nice touch with the flowers and sparkling wine on arrival. Phone signal and internet is intermittent but this is to be expected in such a rural location.

  • Up Over Head was a lovely place to stay. It's exactly as described, but it's the location that makes it so special. There are lovely coastal walks from the doorstep, and two picturesque coves within a few minutes walk - Boat Cove and Portherras (a beautiful place to swim). The hosts are relaxed and friendly, we had a great week there.
