The Treehouse is an architecturally designed space for 2 with a private covered balcony running down one side with views over stunning gardens & countryside. Originally a famous printmakers studio, it is now a large & comfortably furnished light filled bolthole. There are floor to ceiling windows, (with blinds) a large living area with fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs is a romantic ensuite bedroom. The Treehouse is ideal for a relaxing break in a secluded location, 10 mins walk to Penzance.
Orchard Flower Farm is nestled within a beautiful valley just a few minutes drive from Penzance. The building is converted from an artist’s studio where the late Master printer, Hugh Stoneman produced work with highly acclaimed artists such as Sir Terry Frost, Patrick Heron, Sandra Blow and many others. The property itself is finished to a very high standard, including art work from the artists that originally worked in the space. With an open plan lay out, the Studio is light and airy, and with one wall comprising of floor to ceiling windows it allows uninterrupted views of the valley. With only the sounds of birdsong and water running in the stream, it is a perfect place to find peace and quiet. Guests also have full access to the 6 acres of land joined to the property and a wide range of walks in the surrounding area.
The studio is in a truly secluded position surrounded by 4 acres of wonderful Cornish gardens is located close to Penzance, the historic maritime port of Penzance, just 2 miles inland from the Cornish Coastline. St Ives, Lands End, Marazion, St Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre, Porthcurno Beach and the surfing beach of Sennen are all less than 10 mins drive away so there is plenty to see and do. West Penwith, the area of West Cornwall close to Penzance has lots of thriving and recommended, restaurants, bars and galleries to visit. Thi part of the world is well known for its stunning coastlines which are all accessible from the South West Coast Path. We also have some amazing tropical gardens. There's plenty to see and do - alternatively you can just chill with some magnificent views.
  • The treehouse was absolutely wonderful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. The place had everything we needed so we were able to cook in most nights very easily. We also got a lot of local advice from Emma and Linda which we explored during the days, even managed to do a lovely long walk in the sunshine (in march, a lovely surprise). The place was very clean and had a very comfy bed! Mainly it's waking up surrounded by nature that is the most relaxing and enjoyable part about this place! Definitely recommend!

  • It was our second time in Cornwall, and after a stay in a pretty basic flat in Penzance last time we decided we wanted something a bit out of town and in nature. This place fits the bill perfectly! Easy to get to, close to everything, but hidden away down a small lane to give you a very private and very beautiful space. You wake up in the morning overlooking the trees and fields with nothing around you but nature, it's a good way to wake up! The place is very clean and has all the amenities you need for a short or a long stay. A big kitchen is available so it really feels like a home away from home. Beds are comfortable, and you can watch the stars from the bed or the bathtub through the skylights. We had a stubborn little cat visiting a few teams who was just the sweetest. If you don't like cats he's very easy to shoo away and won't come back.. but we couldn't resist its fluffy cheeks so gave him lots of cuddles. The host provides a plethora of tips and suggestions for things to do nearby so you're never short on ideas. Highly recommended, would visit again, 10/10

  • We really enjoyed staying at the Garden Cottage. It’s charming, cosy and bijou, beautifully done up and in a wonderful location, off the beaten track. It’s close enough to St Ives to explore the town but far enough away to feel in the middle of nowhere. The walking in the area is great. Melanie is a wonderful and attentive host. The place is clean and the food and wine left for us were a lovely gesture. We’ll definitely be back.

  • A beautiful place to stay. Oozes with romance and fabulous small touches. Cute and quaint place to stay for a couple of nights. Very clean. Accommodating and friendly hosts.

  • A beautiful retreat, perfectly styled, cozy, comfortable, simply wonderful

    Valerie2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • A divine little love nest situated in the middle of the Cornish countryside. Hosted by the very gracious Melanie, who made our visit very special with the smallest of touches and attention to detail. This little snug getaway way was superbly kitted out, and to be able to have our dogs with us extra special. Being able to get up, throw a jacket and wellies over my PJs and walk the dogs in seconds in the heavenly Cornish countryside was a dream come true. For us the double bed was too small, to make the trip completely perfect and it has helped me realize I really need to check the bed size when booking through AirBNB. The kitchenette was amazingly equipped to cook Christmas dinner and much more! In summary you will not be disappointed.

    Heather2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place is an absolute gem! Melanie was super helpful from the beginning, providing us some great recommendations for food/ places to visit. The Garden Room was perfect for our five night stay with the dog! Melanie had left us some goodies for when we arrived which were a welcomed treat after a long journey. Everything has been thoughtfully considered in every room, it’s beautiful! We enjoyed many bottles of wine by the lovely fire. Amazing beaches and restaurants in the surrounding area, our favourite being The Tinners Arms for a pint. Can’t wait to return. Thanks again Mel x

We will leave a welcome pack of essentials for you ( milk, tea, bread etc) to tide you over till you get to the shops! We provide bed linen and towels so you don't need to worry about those...
This tiny hamlet of just a few houses lies in an area of Cornwall famed for its history of tin mining. The local pub is just a few steps away, with good food and live music. The popular and lively beach towns of St Ives and Penzance are also nearby.

  • The Sheppy was perfect for our 2 night stay in St Ives over New Year. Trisha was incredibly helpful and made sure the heating was on before we arrived. The Sheppy was super cosy, a great space for my partner and I and our puppy Molly. The fields beside the cabin meant Molly was able to have a lovely off-lead walk and play. It was a 5 minute car journey into St Ives and the off road parking meant get to and from into town was super easy. A delightful stay. Thank you so much.

    Laura2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Where to start... Trisha and Allan went above and beyond to make sure not only our stay was amazing but also ensured our Christmas Day was unforgettable! Thank you so much for having us! If you’re ever in Sydney let us know :) :)

  • This is a such cute little place to stay! Trisha made it feel so homely. Great fields to walk the dog which was a bonus. They went the extra mile and added breakfast bits which was amazing. Allen was great too giving us great advice on the location and walks for us. He wasn’t wrong about the Thai restaurant either amazing food. We loved this place sure to visit again. Peaceful and amazing!

  • I had a wonderful stay at The Sheppy. It is a beautiful little shed, that had everything I needed for a few nights in Cornwall. I met Trish briefly, but her husband Alan checked in on me a few times to make sure everything was ok. The Sheppy is in an ideal location, as it’s a few minutes drive from St Ives, and I was able to watch the most beautiful sunrises each morning over the fields! Will definitely return on my next visit to Cornwall.

    Vivienne2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful week at The Sheppy. It is in a nice location, opposite a cozy pub with great food. The owners had filled the fridge well, which was a pleasant surprise. And especially the heineken was appreciated. Were further received friendly and received many tips about the area. Recommended!

The cabin is tucked away in the beautiful, unspoilt countryside of west Cornwall, between St Ives and Penzance and close to a choice of idyllic beaches. It has a double bed, plus sofabed, tea/coffeemaking facilities, a small fridge for your breakfast supplies and a great shower (hand and bath towels are provided). It's in a quiet hamlet with a great pub opposite, The Engine Inn ((URL HIDDEN) which has a great atmosphere, good food and regular live music. My husband Alan and I have lived in this house for over 20 years and raised our three children here in this lovely spot. We're on a B road which has buses to St Ives and Penzance stopping outside every hour. It's a fabulous place to stay and an ideal base to explore the moors and unspoilt countryside of West Penwith. We enjoy meeting new people we look forward to having guests come to stay and discovering the area. We are easy going types who are used to having a housefull! We both work; I am an educational home visitor for young disabled children and I also design and make silver and enamelled jewellery. Alan is a plumber and heating engineer. The cabin is opposite our house and you are welcome to use the garden. There is parking available just behind the accommodation. There is a sofabed which could accommodate a child (or two small ones, maybe!). There are tea and coffee making facilities and continental breakfast (cereal, muffins or bagels with jam and marmalade, juice and yogurt) is provided. On a sunny morning it's lovely to sit outside and enjoy the peace and tranquility.... We look forward very much to meeting you!
  • We loved the cabin! It was a quiet and cosy spot, full of thoughtful touches from Alan and Trisha. We arrived quite late but we still had a warm welcome from Alan who had everything ready for us, he even brought us a couple of beers from the house. The location, halfway between Penzance and St Ives was ideal for us because we were aiming to see as much of Cornwall as possible. It was such a lovely stay and we would recommend it to everyone.

    Sandra2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect stay. Beautiful relaxing settings and very cosy with so many little thoughtful extras by the host, such a nice touch to include the continental breakfast. Fab location, 5-10 min drive to St Ives but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside! Great communication. Would 100% recommend!!!

    Gemma2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Trisha's cabin is lovely. It's cosy, private, clean and has everything you need and more. Location wise, it's really close to everything, nothing is more than 10 mins drive. We enjoyed our time there and we think it offered great value for money. Thank you Trisha for the breakfast, that was very kind of you and a lovely touch. Alex & Andrada

  • My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the cabin. It is clean, cosy and comfortable (a great shower) and Trisha was helpful and friendly. It’s in a beautiful village setting, peaceful, with a lovely local pub across the road which serves local Cornish ales and food. The location is central to lots of lovely places - St Ives, Porthcurno, Mousehole and Land’s End. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend!

Studio 5 is a spacious studio apartment for 2 with an en-suite shower room on the ground floor of our 3-storey eco-build house, a 25-minute walk from the harbour. We hope you'll feel at home whether you’re here for a few days or a couple of weeks.
Studio 5 is an open-plan ground floor apartment so we've gone for a contemporary look in which we showcase the work of a few local artists. We've tried to make sure that that you have everything you need to make you feel at home - and we've also listened to the feedback from our 200+ sets of airbnb guests over the last four years. Bedroom & shower room You'll certainly have sweet dreams when you snuggle down on the double bed with its really comfortable Natural Collection Hempure mattress with 2,560 pocket springs. No need to cram sheets and towels into your suitcase: we provide all bedding along with hand, bath and beach towels - free of charge. There’s plenty of room for your clothes in the chest of drawers (where you'll find a hairdryer) and wardrobe (with a supply of coat hangers). There's shampoo, shower and hand gel in the shower room. Living/dining area Cosy up on the sofa to watch TV, listen to the radio, read books or play games. The dining table also doubles as a desk space is you're here on business. There is SATfree and wi-fi availability plus you have access to our Amazon Prime account. There's also a DVD player and wide selection of movies (including Disney classics) and TV series to choose from. We're both great readers and love to share so please feel free to browse our 'lending library'. If the weather turns wild or you just want to lounge around, there's also a selection of board games - including the Cornish version of Monopoly - to keep you occupied. Kitchen The kitchen is small but 'perfectly formed' with an electric oven and double hob – there’s no gas at this end of town – plus a microwave and additional cupboard space. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for eating and drinking. We don't do bed-and-breakfast but there's a choice of cereals and porridge, and we've stocked up on Cornish tea (and some speciality teas), coffee, milk and biscuits for you. Plus there’ll be sugar in the sugar bowl and filled salt-and-pepper mills. If you don’t feel like cooking, the choice of restaurants in St Ives serving great and, generally, locally sourced food is awesome. The Studio 5 information pack includes reviews of our favourites as well as tips from friends and other guests. If you're feeling really lazy (and why not, you're on holiday), a number of restaurants in town also do home deliveries so just give them a call and sit back and relax. And another thing (or four) - Finding the perfect temperature to suit everyone is almost impossible so there's a heater and fan so that you can be as warm or cool as you like. - If you need a pristinely ironed shirt, there's an iron and ironing board; there's also a clothes airer. - If you want to eat breakfast al fresco, there's a bistro set and a small outdoor space to the rear of the apartment. - As well as beach towels, there's a wind break and beach tent(essential on a British holiday) plus a couple of body boards you can use.
Studio 5 is tucked away in a quiet courtyard at the top of the Higher Stennack. We don’t have a sea view – you can experience that within a few minutes of leaving the front door – but we do have free parking for one car which is real bonus in St Ives, particularly during the summer months. We’re a 25-minute walk from the harbour, shops, restaurants, galleries and local cinema (admittedly downhill going and uphill all the way back) so that, even in the height of summer, this is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. If you can't face the walk back up the hill, there is a taxi rank next to the cinema and a couple of local buses you can catch. We’re only a 20-minute walk from one of the most glorious and best surfing beaches in the area – Porthmeor – where you can also find Tate St Ives (closed for rebuilding until. We’re blessed with four other town beaches: Porthgwidden, Bamaluz, Harbour and Porthminster – everyone has their favourite. We’re also 20 minutes’ walk from the South-West Coast Path, joining at Hellesveor with a choice of 5.5 strenuous miles to Zennor along a breath-taking route (that’s the views and literally) that hugs the cliff top or the scenic route of about 1 mile along the Coast Path heading into St Ives. Head inland for 20 minutes and you’ll reach Knill’s Monument, the highest point around here, with spectacular views across the bay to Godrevy lighthouse and on a clear day to Newquay, 25 miles along the coast. From here you can join St Michael’s Way, which meanders its way across country to Marazion, St Michael’s Mount and the South Coast. So whether you’re looking for a beach holiday, a base for walking or just want to experience the culture that St Ives has to offer - there's a vibrant calendar of art, music, cinema and theatre all year round - this is a great spot to base yourself. • Great place, nicely located, lovely and clean, nicely decorated with the owners artwork, great personal touches, 5 star.

  • Gary and Lin provided a lovely warm welcome for my stay in St Ives with lots of little welcoming gifts that made it extra special. Great location for my course at the Leach gallery just a 2 min walk down the hill, with off street parking for my car (which in St Ives is hard to come by!) Lin was even kind enough to gift me some Tupperware for me to take some leftovers for my lunch on my last day. They obviously take pride in their home and want you to enjoy your time with them and I really appreciated it. Thank you both and good luck for the future x

    Lesley2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Come and stay at Gary and Lin's place! Even though it is a studio, there is plenty of space with everything you need. The bed was so comfortable, I slept so well, even with Storm Ciara raging outside (it is a proper bed, not a futon that you can see in the photos)! We appreciated the little extras like breakfast, bubbly, chocolates and biscuits! There are lots of DVDs and games in case of rainy days. The flat is about a 20 minute walk into St Ives which is easy to do. It is also a great location for accessing walks/hikes. You won't regret staying here!

    Sarah2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The studio is fantastic and has everything you need for a get away . It was light and beautifully decorated, warm, spotlessly clean and easy to find and park our car. It’s in a quiet location, with a short walk into town , approx 15 mins. There are plenty of places to eat in St Ives with some lovely little shops too. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed.

The Eco Studio is situated in a safe and friendly courtyard, only 10 minutes walk from the South West coastal path. The wooden-clad houses surrounded by trees have a real Scandinavian feel. A short drive or longer walk lead to the town centre and golden beaches. The Eco Studio is on the ground floor of our 3 storey house. We live above but leave guests to enjoy their privacy and holiday time as they wish!
  • Jaycee and Hannah were great hosts and there property was lovely , we both had a nice weekend away thanks again

  • We had a great time staying in the Eco studio and spending time in St Ives. The hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome. They were easy to get in touch with when we had questions. The studio was nice, cosy and clean and the hosts left a number of guides and tips on what to do/ places to visit in St Ives which really helped our stay!

    Jumoke2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb was the perfect base for us to explore St Ives and the surrounding area. The studio was clean and welcoming with some really nice touches such as a map with suggestions and a handy guide to St Ives. Hannah and Jayce were also easy to contact when we had questions.

  • Jayce and Hannah were so welcoming during our stay. Their place was beautiful and we loved the style. Thanks for a great stay!

    Ruth-Anne2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely relaxing stay at Hannah and Jayce's place despite the stormy weather raging outside! We loved all the thoughtful little touches like the lovely, relaxing scent of lemongrass from the diffuser in the bedroom, the little cork coffee cup holders, the map with pinned local recommendations, and the blankets and cushions all over the place made it feel very comfortable and a great place to chill out. I didn't notice when we booked that there was no oven available but that was my own oversight! It was only a short walk into St Ives centre which we would have done every day if it wasn't for the rain. Overall we had a really lovely stay, thank you!

    Alice2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Jayce and Hannah’s ecolodge is great, very relaxing, well thought out, simple access, and only 20 minute walk (<5 minute drive) from the town centre. Hannah was always on hand to offer friendly advice and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed! Great stay, great location, would highly recommend!

    Ric2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, relaxing studio with all the amenities there. Easy 20 min walk downhill into town, good exercise or a taxi on the way back

IDEAL FOR HOLIDAY + BUSINESS. Up to 40% DISCOUNT for weekly/monthly long stay now available. Belgravia Loft is just a 15 min walk from the train/bus station, the Isles of Scilly Ferry Terminal & just around the corner from the cinema, theatre, shops, restaurants and galleries. We are also a gentle 15 min stroll from Jubilee outdoor pool, the harbour, two parks & the promenade. Stunning view of Mounts Bay, St Michaels Mount and Penzance harbour. We welcome singles, couples and business travellers
Your room is on the 2nd floor of this 19th century town house and is accessible through a trap door. As you enter the room you are first greeted by a stunning 180 degree view of the bay through a 3-sided box window. The size of the room is very comfortable: Floor area: 4 x 5 meters (approx) Roof height: 2.2 meters at highest point of pitched roof. Toilet and washing facilities: You have your own en-suite toilet and butler sink which are located within glass block partition walls and are accessible via cafe style swing doors. Kitchen: You also have your own kitchen area where you can prepare breakfast and packed lunches. This consists of a wooden work top, crockery/cutlery for 2 people, mini fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. Breakfast: Sadly a cooked breakfast is not available but cereal, milk, tea, coffee will be waiting for you when you arrive. Food supplies are easily accessible with a Tesco local, 2 Co-ops, a vegetable shop and an Archie Browns within a 5 minute walk of the house. Shared bathroom: Directly opposite the bottom of the stairs to your room is a spacious toilet and shower room which you are welcome to use. Fire information: We have taken the following the steps to ensure that in the unlikely event of a fire you will be as safe as possible: - Fire buckets and fire extinguishers have been installed on the first floor and in your room. - Smoke alarms have been installed on the ground floor, first floor and in your room. - The hatch door to your room has been made out of fire retardant 18mm plywood - A fire escape rope ladder has been installed in your room. Electricity: There is a £1 coin meter which supplies all the sockets in the room. This will be topped up with £5 which should be enough for your stay. However if you run out simply insert more coins and continue to enjoy your room.
Belgravia Street is a quiet, residential street even though we are very close to the centre of the town. However I feel I should point out that there is a social club further along the street opposite which stages evening events, mainly at the weekends. This means that occasionally there may be a few customers standing outside the club in the evening chatting until 10 or 11pm. The noise is minimal and can be reduced substantially by keeping the front window of your room shut.
  • Andrew and Winnies place was lovely. It is a bright loft conversion and with private kitchen and toilet. There are many nice touches like some cereal and milk and lots of leaflets about the area. It is nice and warm with an electric blanket too. Thanks for a brilliant and relaxing stay!

    Helen2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very comfortable room with all amenities and a kitchenette, a beautiful view from the window, you can see St Michael's mountain, a heated bed, the owners take care of the guests, there are information magazines about Cornwall, tea, coffee and much more. Very creative friendly hosts, ready to give you the right information and help, gave the local chocolate. Very friendly and cute cat :) Very good location. I really liked this room, it is comfortable and with all the amenities, and creative people will appreciate the cute interior and cool view from the window. Stunningly

  • Andrew and Winnie were lovely and welcoming and offered some great local tips. The space was beautiful, very homely with everything you need. I hurt my foot out on a walk and Andrew and Winnie very kindly helped me out in many ways.

  • Lovely atmosphere, the room was cosy, unique and efficient. Would recommend to a friend, it is within walking distance to everything you need and there are lots of places to explore locally. Even in the rain, the room still kept us feeling secure, safe and warm. The host was very helpful and gave us plenty of advise on places to visit, I felt comfortable to ask questions without hesitation. Was a lovely weekend!

  • A gorgeous loft with an amazing host. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend time in Penzance. Andrew went above and beyond making me feel welcomed and in suggesting what to check out. It’s well located and essentially everything in town is within walking distance.

    Old Boswednack is a super family holiday home located in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. The walks around Old Boswednack are simple gorgeous and it is also a top place to base a holiday from as there are just so many breathtakingly beautiful places to visit within 10 miles of the cottage. It is equally welcoming to couples wanting something a little special for a break away. It sleeps 4 and has 2 bedrooms; one king size bedroom with en-suite shower room that also has a wash basin and WC and a twin bedroom. There is a wonderful family bathroom with bath with shower over, WC and wash basin. The kitchen is open plan with the dining area and living area and is very well-equipped kitchen to cater for a family of 4. The dining table comfortably seats 4 people but can seat up to 6 too. The living area is welcoming and cosy with a wood burner offering extra warmth (and romance) for the chillier days. There is a door that leads off the living/ kitchen area to a secure and very pretty garden with terrace. In the garden, there is a very relaxed extra living space that is affectionately known as ‘The Shack’. It is far from shabby or washed up! It is a light and welcoming additional space that can be used for playing family games, reading, painting, yoga or snoozing! It has a small kitchen area and a WC too. The nearest beach is a 10 minute drive to a glorious, dog-friendly all year round beach called Portheras. St Ives is just 9 miles in along the coast road and in the other direction is Sennen Cove, Land’s End and Porthcurno. You can walk to the nearest pub called The Gurnard’s Head and it takes 5 minutes across fields. 15 minutes on foot in the other direction, across fields is The Tinners Arms at Zennor. There is free WiFi throughout the house. There is private parking for 2 cars and is directly outside the house. One well-behaved small to medium size dog is welcome (terms and conditions apply with a £25 per pet per week fee). All bed linen, bath towels and utilities are included in the rate. Amenities: Cookware & Kitchen Utensils, Iron & Ironing Board, Hair Dryer, Bed Linen & Towels, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, kettle, TV, cooker, microwave, fridge / freezer, heating, DVD player, garden, Fireplace, Towels, Pets are welcome, Dryer, Beach, Golf, Wireless Internet, Parking, Smart TV, Luxury; Bathroom: shower, toilet, Heated towel bar, mirror, washbasin , bathtub; Bathroom: toilet, shower, washbasin ; Bedroom: Bed Linen & Towels, built-in wardrobes, night tables, reading lamps, king size bed, mirror, Chair, En suite shower; Bedroom: reading lamps, night table, Pair of twin beds, Bed Linen & Towels, built-in wardrobes;

  • Sam is a truly wonderful host and did everything to insure our stay/experience was taken care of. The place is so cosy and homely and in the best location in Cornwall. Looking forward to continuing our stay here at Old Boswednack...I’ve already recommended it family and friends. Xx

    Claira2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our visit to Old Boswednack, and really appreciated how easy it was to get to some fantastic nearby beaches in West Cornwall. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The lack of phone coverage helped us disconnect and unwind, but the great WiFi was there if we needed it. We highly recommend both nearby pubs for food or drink.

    Ian2019-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Loved every minute of our stay at Old B, and the property was a perfect base for a quiet week in the countryside. It's cosy and warm in the evenings (with some tactical use of the heaters and log fire) and was spotlessly clean when we arrived, can't fault it! Samantha was really proactive with arrival instructions and general comms, and the place is very thoughtfully designed & provisioned, we didn't want to leave. Zennor itself is tiny but the Tinners Arms is a great pub, and within a 30-min drive through some beautiful scenery you've got St Just, St Ives and Penzance for a bit more variety, shopping, etc. The SW coast path walks are involve a fair bit of wading at this time of year, but we enjoyed them all the same. Would highly recommend: Polgoon vineyard tour, Newlyn Film House, Minack Theatre, and seal-spotting at Nanjizal or Porthgwarra.

    Harry2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Samantha is a beautiful and very friendly host, everything was to our complete satisfaction. Zennor is a beautiful and magical spot in Cornwall and the farmhouse she offers a perfect hideaway with lovely details and perfect conditions. All the best wishes from Ralph & Nadine

  • Very comfortable and stylish accomodation. Perfect location for walking SW Coastal path. Lovely garden and summer house was lovely for an evening drink.

  • Great relaxing place as the photos illustrate

    Wallace2018-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place with great hosts! I can’t recommend this place enough! Close enough to St.Ives for convenience but secluded enough for beautiful silence.

    Ryan2018-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great stay at Sam's converted barn. Everything was so pleased and comfortable, from the paint color choices to the extensive book collection and the sea views from the summerhouse. The beds were great, the kitchen well-equipped, bathrooms were great too. The garden must be a joy to spend more time in once the weather warms up. There's a fridge and a freezer, a washer and a dryer so you could stay here for months on end. Driving up to the barn the first time was petrifying but we got over that once the fog had cleared and we saw the amazing views on route. St Ives and Penzance are both just 15 to 20 minutes away for shopping. We'd recommend the community farm in St. Just to shop locally instead. One thing to note is that there are two steps up to the main bedroom leading off of the hallway and one up to the main living area as well. Not much of a concern for us but it might be something to consider if you're looking for something step-free.

Budget studio room with basic kitchen facilities. Adjacent shower room/toilet. Perfect for the economic traveler. The basement is part of an old Georgian townhouse situated in the heart of Penzance. Double bed and a comfortable sofa bed. Writing desk. TV. There's also a small contained kitchen area with fridge/freezer, cooker, toaster, kettle and microwave. 10 minutes from the train station or beaches and the town's famous promenade. This is a marvellously equipped room for budget travellers.
It's an old Georgian townhouse with wisteria climbing it's walls. Down some old granite steps is the studio. It's a large room but cosy and offers good privacy and of course it's very well equipped with a basic kitchen included so you don't have to eat out every night. The house itself is charming and very homely. There is a shower room and toilet at the entrance to the studio but there is also a larger family bathroom upstairs if that is busy.

Set on a 160 acre Pedigree Aberdeen Angus farm, The Byre is situated up a windy Cornish lane, attached to the owners’ farm house. This hideaway is set between the wild west moors and the Atlantic Ocean. A place for all seasons, The byre has its own private garden, to be enjoyed after a day of sun and salty air, with a glass of chilled wine. Or, Nestle inside next to the wood burner on a wild winters’ evening, after a day of invigorating walks along the rugged clifftops.
  • Lovely, cosy, clean cottage in a gorgeous spot with two great pubs within walking distance.

  • Superb place and location to stay, and lovely peace and quiet.

    Richard2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Everything was so comfortable, and had evidently been done with so much care. Fresh flowers when we arrived were a really sweet touch, as were the scones! It was the most perfect rural getaway, we loved sitting by the fire while the January weather raged around us. The cottage is part of the farm and it was a great balance between having our privacy but knowing Lalage was nearby if we needed anything. I just can't recommend this place enough; I am still not over how comfortable the bed was! Thanks so much Lalage, I highly recommend this place to everyone and really hope to return.

  • This was a very charming cottage and a stunning place to stay. Very homely and comfortable and the beds were amazing. We will return. Thank you.

    Andrew2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Byre was an absolutely charming place to spend our Christmas holiday- totally surpassed our expectations in every way! The home is so thoughtfully decorated and very well-maintained. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing by the fire, making family meals in the beautiful kitchen, and snuggling up in the comfy beds while the winter wind whistled outside. The home is also located at a great point for picking up the South West Coast Path, which we hiked for a bit on Christmas Eve. Our only complaint it that we couldn’t stay longer! Highly recommend for anyone traveling to Cornwall for a restful getaway.

A delightful barn conversion set in a tranquil area of West Cornwall. This single storey barn conversion is in a quiet location yet close to Penzance and local beaches. The cottage is on one level (single step in places) and has a fully enclosed south facing garden. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and has a fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms, one with en suite wet room. The cottage makes an excellent base with south coast beaches 10 mins drive away and St Ives 20 mins drive.
A lovely barn conversion with exposed beams and wood burning stove. Enclosed safe garden with apple trees, vines and local wildlife. This is a perfect setting for summer and winter holidays.
The cottage is in the middle of the countryside but only a couple of miles from Penzance. Easy access to both north and south coasts.
  • Cobblestone cottage is a long barn conversion, spacious, well lit, welcoming and furnished well. Set in its own grounds, with country views, and car parking, it is private and quiet. Close to Penzance itself and nearby (about 6 mins by car) to big supermarkets. Night skies are brilliant for stargazers and we saw an astounding buzzard in nearby tree. Master bedroom with king size bed, and ensuite shower, sink and toilet, with light over mirror and power point for toothbrush or shaver. Smaller bedroom with two single beds, very comfortable and with plenty of good bedding and spare blankets. Large bathroom, with bath and plenty of towels. Kitchen well equipped and easy to function in. All on one level (apart from two separate single steps up to kitchen and to hall towards bedrooms. A small log fire burner gives the sitting room a cheering feel. Central heating radiators around the cottage are much welcomed in winter. Our hostess very thoughtfully provided some treats of scones, jam and Cornish cream, not to mention Cornish butter, and very helpfully milk in fridge and orange juice. Obviously bring your own food although there were some teabags, coffee and sugar provided too. Overall an attractive cottage and garden for a couple or a family wanting to enjoy the pleasures of Cornwall.

  • We have just returned from a very happy week staying at Cobblestone Cottage. The cottage is light, spacious, beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable and sits within the most idyllic countryside location. We were able to access some of the most wonderful areas from the doorstep on foot, by bike travelling to both the North and South coast and by short journeys in the car including Porthcurno, St Ives and Zennor. For our active family, this was a perfect setting for a wonderful week of memories. Many thanks x

Our home is in the heart of 'Poldark Country' in West Cornwall close to the cliffs and moors. The area is renowned for the views, the light and the open space. The accommodation is a self contained flat attached to our house with it's own separate entrance. We are in a small village with a pub and Meadery less than 2 minutes walk away. Other attractions nearby are Geevor Tin Mine and St Just. St Ives, with it's artistic buzz and beaches, and busy Penzance are an easy drive or bus ride away.
We are in a village but the moors and coast path are two minutes from the front door. West Cornwall is renowned for it's dramatic scenery, ancient historical sites and more recent industrial archaeology (Poldark's Wheal Grace Mine is a short walk away on the cliffs!) The area has been designated an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" and is in the UN World Heritage site. The secluded secret sandy beach at Portherras is close by and the surfing beaches of Sennen, Gwenver and Porthmeor are 20 minutes drive away. Throughout the summer months there are nightly performances at the world famous Minack Theatre and there is a vibrant local arts and music scene. There are as range of adventurous activities available in the area from surfing lessons to horse riding on the beach, sailing and canoeing to golf. If you want more details please ask and I will send to links the the appropriate website.

  • Staying at this cottage was an absolute dream! It was located close to the bus stop in Trewellard and Jeremey met me and provided great advice about the area. There were fresh baked treats on arrival and the kitchen was stocked with milk, coffee and tea. The fireplace made the space especially cozy. I can't wait to visit again!

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Trewellard, despite storm Dennis trying to spoil it! Loads of interesting places to visit nearby and enjoyed sampling the local mead at the Meadery, which is minutes from the front door! The flat was cosy and has all you need with convenient parking just opposite the front door. Thanks Jeremy and Rachel.

  • The Cottage is in a very quiet spot in a small cornish village, and only a 10 minute walk to the north cornwall costal path, very near Lands End, St Ives and Penzance. Private parking was right outside the cottage so very convenient when arriving and departing. The Cottage was well equipped with more than you'd expect from the average cottage let. Very clean and a very cozy space to chill out. The log burner soon heats up the whole cottage. I would highly recommend this cottage, and Jeremy and Rachel soon responded to any questions that I had. I will be visiting this cottage again.

We have two friendly Labradors who love guests! Log fire every night in the winter. Friendly hosts!
Your room overlooks the only Cape in England! One mile from St Just, which is a very small town with pubs, cafes and eateries and many unique craft shops. Although Cape Cornwall Club (golf and leisure) is next door, it is very quiet here.
Not many people live on the Cape. It is a very small and peaceful community. The cottage was the first dwelling on the Cape. The cottage was formerly the farm cottage of Nanpean Farm, until the golf club was built in 1991. The club house of the farm was created from the farm stables.
  • A lovely home in a great location. I was a first timer to Air B&B Jo & Chris (and their beautiful dogs) were so welcoming and provided exceptional advice for places to visit locally, I had a great stay and would highly recommend 😊

  • The cottage is very close to the coast footpath, really good location for both outdoors adventures and trips to nearby towns. Very friendly and helpful hosts providing easy going atmosphere and tips to make the most of the time in the area. Great place to stay!

  • Ah we here go! If the Airbnb website worked as well as the hosts to make your booking and stay an enjoyable experience! I almost gave up trying to book but I'm glad I didn't. Lovely hosts with 2 friendly dogs and a lovely spacious room overlooking Cape Cornwall. I managed to tick the all the boxes with body boarding, walks and bird-watching. Cape Cornwall is home to the Chough - symbol of Cornwall. Ticked all the boxes with the local cuisine too fish & chips, pasty and cream tea with homemade jam and Rodda clotted cream. Trips to some of the smaller towns and attractions were interesting and Penzance high street is still vibrant despite the 3 out of town supermarkets. Tea, coffee and 2 towels provided plus extra blanket for the bed. Nice big bathroom downstairs. Would highly recommend, Dave

  • Jo and Chris were truly wonderful hosts. They made me feel incredibly welcome and at home, and I was able to completely relax which was lovely. The location of the cottage is perfect. You have the coastal paths on your doorstep as well as a wonderful view of the cape. St Just is only a 5 minute drive away (or a 25 min walk if you’re feeling energetic!), and the golf club next door has an indoor pool and gym if the weather is ropey. The cottage was extremely clean and the room is spacious and comfortable. The dogs are also incredibly sweet and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee machine was an added bonus! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

    Alicia2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Chris and Jo are fabulous hosts. The old school Airbnb experience. Sharing space, but also life stories, and local tips. There's great hiking in the vicinity, but also further out.

  • We had a great stay for our first time in Cornwall. The room has absolutely amazing views, the breakfast is great and the hosts are particularly welcoming. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit Cornwall in the future! Added bonus: adorable dogs!

Our pretty one bedroom studio in our family farmhouse is located just outside the rural and picturesque village of Zennor in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It covers part of the ground floor of our home but is completely separate with only an interconnecting door which we keep locked. You have your own entrance, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and private walled garden. There are many beautiful walks and sandy beaches on our door step. St Ives is 5mins drive
The bedroom is at the front of the house and is light and colourful. The window looks out across the lane, fields and hill and from spring onwards you will see plenty of rabbits hopping around! The bed is king sized with a top quality mattress. The fresh cotton linen and towels are all provided, along with a stripy beach towel each. There is a smart TV (wifi channels only) and super fast broadband. This room leads onto a well equipped kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother, electric oven, washing machine and under counter fridge with small ice box. The shower room leads off the kitchen and has an enclosed shower and underfloor heating to keep your feet nice and warm. There is a pretty walled garden opposite the entrance to the studio which is exclusively for our guests and has a table and chairs. Parking is immediately in front of the property. We can supply a cot and high chair and we have a comfy sofa bed for an older child if necessary. As the property is self catering we do not supply breakfast, however if you are only staying a couple of nights and on foot we would be happy to supply a continental breakfast for a small charge. Nearby The award winning Gurnards Head pub is approximately 1 mile away and the lovely Tinners Arms about 1 mile in the opposite direction! Both take about 10-15 minutes to walk to. The glorious SW coast path is about 10 minutes walk away. St Ives is 10 minutes away by car and the local bus and open top bus (May- Sept) will stop at the bottom of our short lane. All the main supermarkets are available in Penzance which is about 15 minutes drive away. Points to note: No mobile signal but we have superfast broad band and most phone companies allow wifi calls which you can set up with your phone provider. Also the 'what's app' app allows wifi calling and messaging. We have a very friendly Cocker Spaniel Dog called Millie and a Cat called Rose. The studio is part of the ground floor of our farmhouse and although self contained and soundproofed you may hear us from time to time! We have 2 children age 13 and 11. There are sometimes cattle grazing in the fields around the house. We are more than happy to help out in recommending places to visit and eat and good local walks that you might enjoy. We have a busy family life and are often out but when we are home we are happy to help. If you prefer to keep to your own space in peace that's fine too!
  • This is a wonderful hideaway in beautiful, rugged Zennor. The cottage itself is very comfortable and has everything you need - it's relaxing from the moment you walk in. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning. The first evening we walked along the coastal path to the Gurnard's Head pub for dinner which was so brilliant we booked to go back again the next night! Really excellent food, wine and lovely atmosphere. The village of Zennor is also very charming - the Tinners' Arms pub and the church are both lovely (check out the 300 year old chair with the mermaid carving) and it's also another great point to join the coastal path. We are already longing to return!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our few days stay at Lottie’s place. It is a cosy annexe which is under the main house but very private. The unit is tastefully decorated with a well outfitted kitchen & washer. The bedsit area is comfortable & roomier than expected with a large comfortable bed, a couch & table & chairs. Easy access to the coastal walking track & two great pubs within walking distance. Such a beautiful part of the world which we enjoyed exploring & it was great to come back to such a peaceful place after busy days.

    Robyn2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is an incredibly charming cottage in Cornwall. Easy to get to a lot of the main sights — St Ives, Penzance, Lands End, Sennen Cove, etc. Was incredibly easy to get to and enter. Thank you Lottie for a lovely stay!!

    Diana2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is a terrific place to stay: well situated, beautifully presented and very clean. It has more space than one thinks from the photos. Tim and Lottie are also great hosts.

    Chris2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely place - with its own gorgeous little garden. Our hosts were fab. Perfectly located for the coast and the lovely little village of Zennor (don’t miss the cakes in the cafe)! Ideal base for a west Cornwall holiday!

    Chris2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lottie's place is as good as it gets - beautifully designed and furnished, spotlessly clean, lovely hosts, and an absolutely stunning peaceful location. We didn't want to leave!

    Matthew2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • This beautiful studio has the most wonderful attention to detail and lots of extra little touches, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, wonderful decor, fresh flowers to welcome and milk in the fridge. The beds were very comfy, with good quality bed linen. Everything provided was to a very high standard. The studio offered a quiet retreat and yet a very short drive to St. Ives. Lottie and Tim were excellent hosts and I couldn’t recommend a stay here more.

    Sarah2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a wonderful few days in the cottage. The accommodation was lovely with everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. The location was peaceful but very accessible with great walks and a regular bus service into St Ives which we found really easy to use. The open top bus gave us wonderful views of the stunning countryside. We ate at the Tinners Arms, just a mile from the cottage and had a lovely meal. The hosts were friendly and helpful and quick to message back with any queries. We will definitely book again.

  • We had a lovely stay at Janet's little cottage. Her family was very friendly and helped us with questions around the local area. The place itself is cosy and a good place to stay if you're looking for something quiet, peaceful, away from the business and noise of cities. The view is spectacular, with ten minutes walking distance to the coast and the coastal path. A local shop is nearby and the bus connections to other villages and areas of Cornwall are regular and reliable. A beautiful place in a very picturesque landscape!

  • Janet's place is a hidden gem! The cottage is beautiful, full of character, steeped in history, such a wonderfully peaceful location. If you enjoy coastal walks the footpaths are close by and lead you to beautiful beaches and stunning scenery. It was great to meet Janet's family and to be shown the Farm's ancient Fogou was a bonus! What a great trip, would love to return!

  • Lovely, peaceful retreat with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. Only a short walk from the beach and coast path. Also within walking distance of the village and bus service to Lands End and St Ives. Welcoming and friendly host with tips for things to do - nice touch with the flowers and sparkling wine on arrival. Phone signal and internet is intermittent but this is to be expected in such a rural location.

  • Up Over Head was a lovely place to stay. It's exactly as described, but it's the location that makes it so special. There are lovely coastal walks from the doorstep, and two picturesque coves within a few minutes walk - Boat Cove and Portherras (a beautiful place to swim). The hosts are relaxed and friendly, we had a great week there.

The heritage town of St Just is a great base to explore the wonderful landscape of West Cornwall. The magnificent coastline is breathtaking and a real joy for walkers, cyclists, surfers and beach lovers. My house is clean and comfortable. You're invited to make yourself at home. I'm a surfer who enjoys T'ai chi, yoga, reading, music and vegetarian cookery. I look forward to meeting you and making you welcome.
Situated within a quiet terraced street in the small, friendly town, this ex-miners cottage built around 1870 has plenty of antique charm and original features which blend with a quirky mix of up-cycled and original decor. Come in, choose your room, put your bags down and relax. The bedrooms are cosy, private spaces where you can get a good nights sleep. The clean and spacious bathroom is clean and spacious. The kitchen is cosy and warm. The lounge is equally lovely drenched in the morning sun* or watching twilight fade over the front garden. * Unfortunately I cannot guarantee sunshine :-)
St Just overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and the West Penwith moors, (classified as an area of outstanding natural beauty). I would encourage you to get the most from the natural environment during your stay by visiting the array of wonderful beaches, valleys, moors and coves, however the towns of St Ives, St Just, Moushole and Penzance offer a wide range of busier delights including some excellent restaurants and cafes. There are also many galleries, museums and other attractions nearby including The Minack Theatre, St Michaels Mount, The Cable Museum and Lands End. Offshore the spectacular Isles of Scilly are accessible via boat or plane and well worth a visit for a day or longer. Closer to home St Just has cafes, pubs, a post office, convenience stores, a chip shop, galleries and farmers market.

Our swallows have returned to nest in our barns and we have heard the cuckoo – a rare sound in many areas. The Drift reservoir is just 3 miles away and Marazion and Hayle Nature Reserves are within a 20 minute drive; all are renowned for hosting a wide variety of migrating and seasonal birds. We prefer that visiting dogs do not go into our garden or into any other areas of our home and ask that your dog is not left unattended in your room. And PLEASE, no dogs on our beds. We are right off any made-up roads, there is lots of space and dogs can easily and safely be walked straight from our house. If your dog is prone to bark at the slightest movement or as soon as it goes outside, this is probably not the best place for it to stay. Other guests will be in the room next to you and elderly neighbours live across the farmyard. Our own dog, Cassie will make a loud noise when you arrive but will be very hospitable once you are settled in.
If you are looking for the "real" West Cornwall you will find it here. We are well away from the main road, at the start of the wild, West Cornish Moors distinctive Celtic landscape and.....Poldark country! The fabulously situated house fulfilled our dreams of staying in Cornwall - that's magical place. There are beautifull hiking tracks & easy bus transportation (if you need it). A place is brilliantly clean, everything you need is there. Great! Thank you one more time!

  • David and Victoria are perfect hosts and they have a lovely property in a truly beautiful location. They are really thoughtful and provided a delicious cream tea on arrival and also lots great additional touches.

  • The Hill Farm was a delightful place to stay in this most interesting and scenic part of Cornwall. The cottage has excellent and very well set out facilities. David and Victoria are the most welcoming and hospitable hosts.

    Duncan2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoy the time at Richard's place and town, he and Victoria are very helpful and friendly. The house is surrounded by wonderful view, we will definitely come back and highly recommend everyone to stay here!

    Mengqian2017-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely week at this property. It is in a breathtakingly beautiful location and waking up to views over the old mines and the ocean felt like a gift. There's a public footpath to the village and the pub there (the Trewellard Arms) serves great food and has a vast array of different beers. The owners of the cottage live next door and they were immensely helpful and accommodating. They really care about their home and their guests. The cottage has everything you might need and we all felt at home there. The cream tea on arrival made for a great welcome and we also enjoyed probably the best gluten free lemon drizzle cake ever made by the cottage owner's neighbour. The Penwith Peninsula is wild and a little unkempt but I think it is one of the most beautiful places in England and being there is really good for the soul - birdsong, wild flowers and a sky full of stars.

  • Wrens Nest is a cosy Cornish home from home. The location is quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside and sea views. Penzance is a small drive away with all you’d need to find. We were able to travel all of the south coasts in one day and got some beautiful weather during this winter stay. Marisa is a wonderful host with so many little homely touches to make your stay much easier. The Cornish cream teas upon arrival were a lovely touch. Thanks again and hope to be back somewhen in the future

  • We stayed at Kevin and Carolyn’s home for two nights while walking on the South West Coast Path, and it was just perfect! The location is beautiful and the family is so very warm and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The room is really lovely and very comfortable. We’d love to come again one day!

    Allaina2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • The room is located in a small house on the edge of a field. You are fast in Pendeen. We were welcomed in a friendly and unobtrusive way and had our peace in the room. The room is practically just a large bed with little freedom of movement but it is neat and nice. In the morning light breakfast and coffee in the kitchen was ready. All in all a good experience and highly recommended for one night.

    Mehrjar2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful location for walking the southwest coastpath and very close to local pubs for eating. Kevin and Carolyn are such lovely hosts and we felt very welcome in their home. The house is lovely, the bed super comfy and the breakfast a very lovely additional bonus. Highly recommended!

  • We stayed for a night whilst walking the SW coastal path and it was the perfect place to stop over. Our hosts were lovely, helpful and communicated well and the bed was very comfortable. Recommend dinner at the friendly local pub - the North Inn and it's a very interesting section of the coastal path to explore. Many thanks

Hi my name is Lowenna! I’m new to Air B&B and really looking forward to meeting some fellow travellers. I try to price my listing honestly, so it’s accessible for the solo traveler and gives you value for money! The location of my home is brilliant, your in 10 minutes walk of the train station and 10 minutes walk from most activities/sights in Penzance. The room is cosy, comfortable, clean and light. I live on my own and have two very friendly kittens.
This is an ideal location for any solo traveler or working person wanting to stay/explore Penzance! A little about the house... I have just bought my first home and I am doing it up little by little. The decor is clean, fresh, with antiques and an industrial sort of style. I up-cycle furniture and enjoy making the house look really unique.
This is a safe area, and the best location, close to the train station and bus stop. Close to local restaurants and shops. The house is a mid-terraced house, with period features. I am constantly doing it up and improving on the decor and interior. Your room is at the back of the house so mostly very quiet and well lit with sun in the afternoon.
  • Very nice and clean place close to all kind of shops, restaurants, city center and railway station. I can really recommend Lowenna's place!

    Jakub2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • My second time staying with Lowenna. The house is very clean, quiet location and comfy bed. The hose is in ideal location very central. Lowenna is great host and the cats very friendly. Will stay again

    Jamie2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lowenna’s place is really cute and her cats are super sweet! Great location, easy walking distance to anywhere in town.

    Mary2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lowenna is a really friendly person, she’s very welcoming and has a nice cosy home. The two cats are cute, the house is in a good location, walking distance to the train station, shops pubs and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

    Jamie2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lowenna went out of her way to accommodate me very last minute and was a life saver in the storm! So nice to have somewhere warm and cosy and to be greeted by two absolutely gorgeous cats! Would definitely recommend!

    Leona2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Just stayed at Lowenna’s house and it was totally lovely. The space is stylish, comfy bed, awesome shower and bathroom and right in the centre of town. Would definitely stay again

    Barry2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lowenna is an excellent host, and such a lovely person. I really appreciated the lovely touches in the room, her two adorable kitties (such purr bags!) and how she let me leave a few things at hers for the weekend as I was hiking! Check in was really easy too and great value with breakfast. Thank you so much, Lowenna!

  • Lowenna’ s lovely warm home is very convenient close to the centre yet quiet ; very comfortable with two super friendly kittens for company.

  • Heath is really hospitable, flat has all amenities you need and the view is wonderful, a great trip.

    Jonathan2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Heath is an excellent host with a prime location for easy access to all amenities such as public transport, restaurants, and pubs. He being a local gave us insights to key attractions which were 'must do's' and off the beaten track. We strongly recommend his place. Brilliant !!

    Steve And Debra2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Quality stay in a neat room with a nice view across the harbour and a really nice host. Thank you for all of your care.

    Benjamin2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Heath is a kind welcoming host who has very good local knowledge. As a female retiree I was a little worried about booking a place with a male host, but within minutes I felt more than happy to stay in his home. It was great to be able to make a hot drink anytime, or use the microwave, and we there was no problem sharing the bathroom as Heath was out a lot of the time. The view from the bedroom and sitting room is amazing, and it's only a short walk to the town shops, sea front and several pubs that do great evening meals.

    Batchy2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Heath is a really nice person, and he has done a lot of information about this place like which restaurant, activities you can try. He always replies immediately whatever questions, he always pay attention to help me or if I cannot understand the meaning he will explain to me, and the place is super clean with a quite and cute He dog~ anyway I will booking here next time if I travel Cornwall again!

    Ivy2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed just 2 days at Heath's place but it felt like to be at home. Very cosy and with an amazing view of the Harbour. The position is great, you can walk to the city center and the station in a short time and visit more in Cornwall. Heath is very friendly and such a good host. I would definitely come back here next time to Penzance.

We are offering a small, double room in our lovely old miners cottage in St Just; a lively and vibrant town in the far west of Cornwall. We are 20 minutes walk from the beautiful coast with dramatic cliffs and sandy beaches. We are within easy walking distance to the South West Coastal Path. Breakfast included. The house is clean and tidy to the standard of a normal home, We prefer to concentrate on making our guests feel comfortable and relaxed when staying with us in our home.
My partner Shaun and I live in a small but cosy cottage in a residential street. We have one spare room which is a small double, suitable for one or two adults .The room is small but clean and comfortable. We have a downstairs bathroom with a shower over the bath, which you will share with us. We offer a self - service breakfast of cereals and toast and with arrangement you may be able to use the kitchen at other times.
St Just is a friendly and lively town with a great community spirit. There are several pubs and cafe's that serve good food and often have entertainment. There are many beautiful walks and lovely beaches in the area. We are within 20 minutes walk of the South West Coastal Path. We are a short drive from the picturesque town of St Ives, St Michael's Mount, Porthcurno and the stunning Minnack Theatre. The surfing beaches of Sennen and Gwenver are also near by. There are many historical mining sites nearby made famous by the BBC adaptation of Poldark
  • Steph and Shaun are great hosts, genuine, welcoming people with good sense of humour. Their lovely home is cosy and beautifully clean with good amenities. I was grateful for the use of the kitchen to prepare some meals. My room was clean and tidy with a comfortable double bed. I would defiantly stay with Stef and Shaun again.

  • Great location for walking the coastal path and also getting some food from the town. Really interesting to stay in a traditional mining village too. Stef and Shaun were very accomodating and friendly. The room was warm, cosy, comfortable and quiet. Great to be able to use the living room and dining room. Breakfast was great. I was very lucky to be given dinner too becuase they had extra! A great stay, thanks.

  • Enjoyed staying in this former miners cottage as I explored the area. Comfortable, quiet room with the bonus of breakfast. Friendly hosts, highly recommended

    Carol-Ann2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Stef's place offers all you need for a short Airbnb stay: comfortable bed, great shower, breakfast in the morning. Her 'my home is your home-spirit' only makes you wish you could stay longer.

    Rebecca2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The host is a wonderful person, very helpful and also curious to know their guests (not everyone). The house is adorable and kept with care, cleanliness is impeccable. It is located in the center of the country and the SWCP is easily accessible. Highly recommended!

  • Nice, helpful and friendly couple. It had all amenities needed. Comfortabel bed. I enjoyed my stay!!

    Emil2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely stay with Stef, we were received with a down to earth and warm welcome and encouraged to feel at home and get on with resting at our own pace. Stef’s home is very charming and well located in a beautiful area. We only stayed one night on our walking and bus tour of the Cornish coast and this was perfectly placed for both the bus and the coastal path.

We are in a residential area, just 700 metres from the south west coast path backing onto Boscaswell Village just off Pendeen, just over a mile from the lighthouse. A five minute or so walk to two pubs, convenience store very close to the historic Geevor mine. It is a peaceful area at night. Often you can hear the sea. We have a garage for cycles or motorcycles, dryer and washer for walkers and can often accommodate greyhounds by arrangement.
Light breakfast is included (cereals, toast, etc) and Sue is always happy to lay on a cooked breakfast by arrangement. The shared bathroom works well, as the hosts have a separate loo, so take as long as you like in the bathroom. Coffee machine in the kitchen, fresh milk in the fridge, help yourself. Kitchen and gardens are a shared space, the rear garden is shared with our dogs (when they are awake) Do feel free to use the microwave, coffee machine, air fryer etc. We have well behaved Greyhounds in the house. They are normally very quiet as a breed, and leave guests alone, this is their home as well so if you really don't like dogs it's probably not the place for you! They are re-homed retired racers.
The area is "Poldark" country, world heritage site, area of outstanding natural beauty with a tin mining heritage, on the Tin Coast and with a smugglers cove close by. It's on the rugged north coast of West Cornwall. situation great for a break from the south west coast path or or as a base for a few days exploring wild West Cornwall. Well located for the South West Coast Path and Penwith Heritage Coast. The coastal path section between us and St Ives has many changes in elevation, and Pendeen is regarded as an "oasis" for many after a gruelling slog up and down coves and cliffs heading west. It can be a brutal stretch in the winter months. The village has two pubs and a good local stores, we are close to the coastal path and the village. For guests taking a break and stopping over for more than one night there are many local walks and facilities where you can recharge and relax. Designations include Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Area of Great Historic Value, Heritage Coast, and World Heritage site. Five minutes in any direction and you are in rugged natural Cornwall, still virtually unspoiled. Great at any time of year. Our area is in the process of becoming a "Dark Skies" reserve too, so it is a rather special place. Within a few minutes walk you can find Cornish hedges from Neolithic times and the area is surrounded by Ancient stones, circles, quoits, fougos, wells and forts. You won't find King Arthur's ashtray in a gift shop in these parts. Take time to soak up the history, all around us is a beautiful place whichever direction you head out - the cliffs, the countryside or to the ancient stones. You are near the extreme end of Britain here, glorious and rugged in the winter, beautiful in the summer.
  • From the second I stepped into Sue and Kevin's house, I was made to feel welcome and this didn't stop until the moment I left. What more can you want from an Airbnb? It was lovely to share stories and of course to sleep in a comfortable bed too. Sue was a life-saver with the food too! I will definitely be back if I am walking the coastal path, as it is incredibly handy. Many thanks for making it a memorable stop on my journey.

    James2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic hospitality along a very rugged leg of my walk along the coastal path. Highly recommended indeed, thank you very much Sue and Kevin!!

    Justin2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Very lovely and hospitable! Both Kevin and Sue looked after us very well during our stay - during off our wet camping equipment/clothes for us, helping us research for our hike the exit day and preparing a lovely breakfast. And lovely dogs!

    Sylvie2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very good time, the accommodation is not far from the coastal path and we could even leave our backpacks there while visiting the nearby mine. We got nice conversations and helpful tips about bus connections, pubs and mine opening times as well as a cup of tea and cookies when we picked up the backpacks. We would book there again anytime.

    Mona2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Their house is really very well located. Between Porthcurno, Pendeen, the Geevor mine and Zeenor. Perfect for exploring the peninsula. Sue and her husband are adorable and have been very kind to us. Room with all the necessary equipment. Please take a good look at the card sent by Sue when you arrive. It will be very useful for you to find the house.

    Carole2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect place to stop for the night while walking the coastal path! The room is really nice with comfortable beds and wonderful hosts! Book early do you don’t miss the opportunity!

    Susan2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Sue and Kevin were excellent hosts. Very friendly, communicative, thoughtful and overall very good people. Sitting around and talking in the evening was really fun and enjoyable as well as having the opportunity to befriend and pet their greyhounds which were just as nice as the hosts themselves. Easily the best place I've ever stayed in and probably will ever stay. The accommodations were sparkling clean and set up very nicely. Sue prepared us a filling and delicious breakfast.

    Laura2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Mel and Rich were very welcoming throughout our stay. They made sure check-in was seamless and even let us put our bikes in their garden. There was tea and coffee in the room and some breakfast provided in the morning, perfect to get the day going. They gave us with lots of information on what to see and do in the area which was really useful. And we also enjoyed cuddles with their cat Susi :) Thanks for everything!

My home is 3 minutes from the train/bus stations, down a less than picturesque alleyway, though very close to the sea, town; shops, restaurants, pubs. This simple room is on the ground floor; very small (2.3 x 2.1 metres), cosy and perfectly formed and next to the shared bathroom. It is a great base for being out exploring Cornwall. There's a kettle, toaster, crockery/cutlery and no other facilities. Towels are also provided. I live here with my dog and sometimes a lodger or 1-2 other guests.
My house is tucked away, with a private courtyard, though close to the sea and town. It is my home so a working and living space, not a perfect holiday home. It is often quiet, though I regularly have friends visiting, so maybe a little chaotic or peaceful. The room is tiny, which I like and the bed comfy! The bed can be set up as a king size (which takes up most of the room), or as a small single bed.
Penzance is a working cornish town by the sea. It is wonderful because it is full of creative people and surrounded by wonderful land and seascapes. It has many charity shops, lots of pubs, places to eat, the oldest seawater lido in the country and easy access to west penwith (a coastal area with wonderful moorland and sacred sites). It is also a town with poverty and lots of social problems - I hope you will love us for all of this!!
  • Rachel is a very good host, the room is as described, small but comfortable, clean and with good privacy. Location is very good walking distance to high street and marina.

    José2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The room is a perfect pied a terre for a beautiful stay in Penzance. Rachel has some lovely details that boosted our stay.

  • Such a lovely and charming place to stay, the room is small but it doesn’t matter if you’re only sleeping there. There are some very cute cafes nearby that do breakfasts, and the train and bus stations are only about a 2 minute walk away. Rachel was a lovely host and made sure we were comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

    Alex2019-12-08T00:00:00Z

  • Rachel's place was just as described and spotless clean. I didn't see Rachel but her co-host Liz treated me well. She gave me lots of information and I enjoyed chatting with her. Thank you Liz!

    Lih2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • The room was very small but was fine for a short stay. The room seemed nice and clean. Great location as its right on the main street with shops and places to get food. Rachel was away but the host we had was great and always in contact with us to make sure everything was ok. Perfect for anyone on a budget like we were as it was the cheapest room I could see in the area.

  • I can't imagine anyone not liking this home :-) The location is perfect, the apartment is very stylish and comfortable, with an excellent kitchen. Everything was prepared for us with great attention to detail. Phil and Chris are friendly hosts, they welcomed us with lots of useful local tips. We are very grateful!

  • This place was fantastic, better than I had expected. It is a great size with a lovely living room, comfortable bedroom, bright and clean bathroom, and a full kitchen. Chris was very responsive to my emails and texts. She met us when we arrived and when e left. While we were there, she left us bread, milk, marmalade and other food for breakfast and they were delicious. The location was great for getting into Penzance. It's a 5 minute walk into the town. She gave us some great recommendations. You must check out the Cornish cream tea at "The Front Room" and eat at The Turk's Head, the oldest pub in town. The only slight hitch is parking as their road is tight and parking is all off-street. However, both nights we stayed in Penzance we were able to snag the last parking spot on the street. This place is great value for the money. I'd recommend it highly. It was without doubt the best value/place we stayed at in our 2 week UK visit.

  • The place is really amazing! It feels like home! Plus, Chris and Phil are the perfect hosts. They will extend their services beyond what is just needed. They will make you feel like family. Plus, the house is really beautiful, posh, clean and sleek! Amazing! We almost did not want to leave.

  • We had a great time @12 It was a really nice clean and self-contained flat (Chris and Phil were upstairs if we needed them; we didn't add everything was great). It was a short walk into Penzance which was a really lovely town. The flat was an excellent size and was big enough that we could have whiled away a few hours when it rained if we had needed to.

  • I can not put into words how much myself and my partner loved this place, after being let down from Thomas cook and loosing our first holiday away we decided to book Cornwall instead. And hand on heart I’m glad we did, from the minute we booked until the minute we left we felt so happy and content. Nothing was to much trouble and you both went out your way to make sure we were ok and happy. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and the pictures do not do it’s justice, thank you so much for making us feel so welcome with all the homely touches, to the bread and jam etc you left we cannot wait to come back in the summer! Thank you for making our time in Cornwall one to remember and cherish x

Morgelyn Cottage is a lovely, recently renovated, comfortable and cosy, former Cornish Miner's cottage in a quiet village setting. The cottage is located in the heart of magical west Cornwall (Poldark territory!), close to the Coastal path. There are spectacular sea views from the cottage. At night time you can see the light from Pendeen lighthouse, stars and the twinkling lights of the local fishing boats. Dogs are welcome, there is wifi and dedicated off street parking.
The cottage is perfectly situated to explore the beautiful area of Penwith. The Minack Theatre, St.Ives, Lands End, Penzance, Mousehole, St. Michael's Mount and the beaches of Porthcurno, Sennen and Gwynver are less than 10 miles away. The cottage is a short distance from the coastal footpath. There are numerous walks which you can explore the iconic cliff top mines such as Poldark's Wheel Leisure and Crown Mines, as well as paths that take you through the wild untamed country side and moors, past neolithic sites. Morgelyn comfortably accomodates 4 people, but can fit 5. The cottage maintains many of its original features including a large inglenook fireplace, exposed wooden beams and characterful stone walls. The warm and cosy sitting room has a wood burner, Smart TV, DVD and selection of board games. The cottage has a modern well equipped kitchen enabling you to enjoy home cooked meals. There is a dishwasher electric oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, freezer and ample cookware. The good sized dining table comfortably sits all guests and from which you can enjoy the sea views. There are two double bedrooms, one which has a vaulted beamed ceiling, the other has sea views. The Super King bed can be converted into two single beds. There is a third smaller room which can be used either as a nursery, study, dressing room or bedroom for an extra guest. The bathroom has a bath, shower over the bath, underfloor heating and heated towel rail. Conveniently there is an additional downstairs loo. To the front of the house is a porch that catches the sun throughout the day and is a lovely spot to read and have a cup of tea. The cottage has its own enclosed private front and back garden. There is space to store bikes and surf boards. The village has a strong local and friendly community. A short walking distance from the cottage is a local village shop, a CAMRA award winning pub serving home cooked food, a fish and chip shop, a Brazilian Tapas and Meadery.
West Cornwall (Penwith) is renowned for its wild, untamed, open countryside, unspoilt coastal views, ancient historical sites, clifftop mines and Poldark. You will quickly discover why the area has been designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and is on the list of UN World Heritage Sites. If days at the beach are on your holiday plan then you are well placed, as the area offers several beautiful clean and sandy beaches. Choose from the quiet secluded Portheras Cove and Boat Cove (closest beaches to the cottage and dog friendly all year round) or explore Porthcurno, Lamorna and Penberth cove. A short drive away is Sennen beach (voted by Conde Nast as one of UK's best beaches) and Gwynver which are great surf spots. Another family friendly beach is Marazion which overlooks St.Michael's Mount. There is a strong local mining heritage. Geevor Tin Mine is located in the village and provides you with the opportunity to visit a real mine and discover what life was like for a Cornish miner. The coastline near the cottage has many old mine stacks and engine houses nestled into its cliffs. Botallack, Levant, and Wheel Owles mines are all close by, these were used as the film locations for the Poldark TV series. There is a thriving art scene in the area. Newlyn art gallery, Tate St. Ives, Barbara Hepworth Museum, Leach Pottery, Penlee House Gallery and the Kurt Jackson Foundation Gallery are a short drive away. St.Just, Penzance and St.Ives have many lovely art shops to explore. St. Michael's Mount is one of Cornwall's most iconic images. You can walk across the causeway at low tide and catch a ferry at high tide. St. Ives is famous for its art scene, cobbled winding streets, cafes and sea side bays. The drive along the coast from Pendeen to St.Ives is stunning. The Minack Theatre is an amazing clifftop outdoor theatre overlooking Porthcurno beach and its azure blue seas. During the summer months there are nightly performances. The area has an astonishing collection of ancient sites, some of which pre-date Stonehenge. Men-an-Tol, Lanyon Quoit, Boscaswen-un and Chysauster are some of the nearby sites. Penwith has a thriving food scene with lots of farmers markets and lots of really good restaurants and bars in some stunning locations.

  • A wonderful weekend in a beautiful home. The cottage is perfect, beautifully appointed and with a stunning view of the sea in the distance. Holly’s helpful communication meant everything was easy to find. Our friends, our little dog and us had a great, chilled out winter weekend. Thoroughly recommend!

  • This Airbnb is even better than the photos! It was warm, well equipped, immaculate and the cottage had great views and interesting walks nearby. Not forgetting the house's beautiful decor. There were so many thoughtful touches which helped us to feel at home, such as games, candles, enough logs for the fire and lots of information about the local area. We were able to cook great meals because the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Holly!

  • This cottage is absolutely beautiful, a real home from home. Great views to the sea and in a really quiet location. Local amenities were as described by Holly the host and the local pubs were lovely and friendly, serving great food too. We absolutely loved our time in Pendeen and we're already looking to book again for next year.

    Jane2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Holly's home is the most idyllic, beautiful, cornish cottage. Decorated and furnished to such a high standard. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Lots of personal details and spotlessly clean. Holly has spent time to consider every detail and it really has made our stay in her cottage truly spectacular. Thank you so much Holly, we will definitely recommend your cottage and will hopefully come and stay again. Lorraine x

  • We were the very first guests at Holly's cottage, so there were no reviews available when we booked. I had no worries about this though because of her professionalism throughout the booking process. Holly always replied quickly, was very friendly with clear instructions. Having stayed at over a dozen airbnb properties over the years I can honestly say this was my best stay out of them all! The cottage is beautiful and surprisingly spacious. The facilities are excellent - the property has an impressive kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner etc. The decoration is gorgeous and everything has been thought of. Holly also left some special touches, which really made us feel welcome (including our dog). The location was brilliant for us - it is located in a village on the north coast of Cornwall. The cottage is within easy walking distance from 2 pubs, the local shop and the chippy - everything you need! The location was also a great base for us to travel to visit everywhere we wanted to see, from Landsend to the Eden Project. I have diagnosed, clinical OCD and the cleanliness of the property when we arrive is always the most important factor, as it can have a huge impact on my enjoyment. I can truly say that Holly's cottage was absolutely spotless and I was completely relaxed throughout - it really was of the highest standard. I have no hesitation in recommending Holly's cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Cornwall and I'm sure we will be back before long!

  • YES! YES! YES!! - is the correct answer if you’re wondering whether you should book this cottage or not :) The cottage is at the foot of the lighthouse which is incredible in itself. The views are stunning & so peaceful. The cottage itself is in amazing condition - it’s clean, cosy with modern kitchen facilities, an amazing shower & really comfy beds And Diane is so thoughtful. She’d left us fresh bread, milk, strawberries, biscuits, wine and so much more that we didn’t expect - and that was without knowing we’d just got married :) Would definitely recommend it - I haven’t had such a nice rest in a very long time - thank you so much Ovi & Hannah x
