We really enjoyed our stay and had a great time on the boat. The neighborhood is nice and close to the city center. A wonderful house boat experience!

Super well located, with a really nice cafe for coffee, green juice, sandwiches etc. down the block on the way to the tram. I didn't even need to buy a 3 day transportation pass since everything was super close! It is cold in February so make sure to bring warm clothes to sleep in. Other than that great experience! It was very clean!!

The single attic room in Edwin's flat is very awesome and quite convenient with all you need. His appartment is also situated in a decent location and Edwin is always ready to give the best tips to discover the best that Amsterdam has to offer. If you sleep early, don't forget your earplugs! We loved our room and location in Amsterdam. Matthijs and Francina were wonderful hosts and Matthijs gave us great tips on the city, especially in the Jenever distillery which we went to every night! The bathrobes were a nice touch and though there was another couple down the hall, we never heard or saw them, owing to the nice layout of the house. Thank you for an enjoyable end to our honeymoon in Amsterdam!

The hosts were amazing and made me feel welcome right from the start. They were very helpful and their directions to get tot he place were very detailed.

Our stay at RUST was great. Exactly what we needed almost felt like a hotel room. Comfy bed, fresh towels, nice temperature in the room between the fan and windows. We shared a bathroom with a couple in the other room. The bathroom smelled slightly but overall a good experience - they provided shampoo. The area was close to the canals and right next to dam square. It was much closer to the red light district than we thought - so it was very overwhelming at night, but the street the room was on was quiet and a bit separated from the action. On our final day they allowed us to store our baggage before our flight which was helpful. The breakfast provided was outstanding! A coffee, juice, pastry and sandwich were all provided. The hosts also got back to us very quickly with answers to any of our questions.

Sabine was a great host! The loft was exactly as pictured with high-end finishes. The location, Dam Square, was close to the action but we heard almost no street noise. The property is about a 10 minute walk from Central Station. The loft was clean and the bathroom was very nice. The bed is a pull out/Murphy bed style; however it was pretty comfortable. Sabine was friendly, warm and inviting. She provided a list of recommended restaurants and attractions. We would certainly stay at one of her properties again should we return to Amsterdam. Overall, one of the best accommodations we stayed in during our Euro trip!

In general, everything was fine, good location.

The location was perfect, it's in the center but about 3 minutes walk from the noise and traffic. The host was amazingly helpful and gave us a full tips and insight on what to do and where to go. The apartment was clean and very minimal, it's great for a no more than two people and could be very helpful for those on a business trip with the meeting/dining table.

Sabine's apartment was one of the best things of my amsterdam trip, the place is really amazing and the location makes you feel that you are in the heart of the city (short walking distance to almost everything available for tourism in the city). I would totally stay here again in my next visit, 100% recommended

Delighted with this studio in the center! Consistent with the description: a kitchen with everything necessary, bathroom and toilet with a REAL Italian showered and bed :). The whole area with a sofa - coffee table. Yvette at all prepared: clean sheets and seviettes + toiletries and plastic plates and cutlery. Ideally located, the studio is 5 / 10mins market of all the famous places (jordaan / waterlooplein / center / red light district ...). The Coffee Shop at the bottom of the building speaks French and is super nice :) The Italian is really good. Yvette remained very available. This apt is centrally located and has a lovely deck space. The neighbor did stop by to let us know that the floors are thin, so beware of heavy footsteps. Overall, great stay!

We had a great time staying at Marteen's place. He was not able to meet us but arranged for his friend to let us in. We landed in the morning and he was able to accommodate us checking in a little early, so we didn't have to drag our bags around! The location is AMAZING. Very close to Dam Square, a grocery store and multiple tram stops. We were able to walk to basically every where we wanted to go from here. The apartment is exactly as pictured, very bright and clean. There are some pretty steep stairs to get to the apartment (on the 3rd floor). It wasn't an issue for us, but just wanted to give a heads up if you're not into stairs. One thing we didn't notice before we booked was that there is no AC in the apartment. We happened to be there on some very hot days so during the day the apartment got very hot. Luckily, we weren't really home much during the day. At night it was cooler, so we opened windows and were very comfortable. The patio is adorable and a huge perk. We had three other friends also in town and had them over for drinks on the patio (around 5pm). We did have a neighbor ask us to be quiet as he was going to have a dinner party at his apartment. Our friends left around 7pm or so. Hopefully we didn't cause any issues for Marteen! So if you're enjoying the patio just be aware that the sound travels and neighbors can hear you. Overall, we had a great stay at Marteen's!

So I ended up staying on a different boat that was free during my reservation because the hosts were so kind and offered me the bigger space. That being said, the original boat was very charming, had a surprising amount of space to store things, and was in a great location. I HIGHLY recommend this for a small group or an individual looking for a really cool experience! There are many shops around with wifi (that was semi-reachable from the boat) and they're happy to let you charge your appliances and use their bathrooms. Both boats were so quaint and the hosts who checked us in were SO nice. They really made the trip for me and my friend and I would highly suggest taking a few extra minutes and talking to them. They were super attentive and welcoming hosts and I would happily stay with them again next time I visit Amsterdam.

Very disapointing experience, would not recommend it to anyone. To keep it brief it's very uncomfortable even though it's well placed in the center. No place to charge your phones no sink and a portable toilet aren't worth the price. I would recommand you stay at another place that is further from the center, this boat is just not worth it.

We had a great weekend in Amsterdam! Jen is a host of great kindness, she gave us a city map with the main places to visit and the best places to go eat. Its beautifully decorated apartment is located in the city center of Amsterdam to live close to shopping, nightlife and main places of Amsterdam. This proximity causes of noise in the surrounding streets but does not prevent good sleep. Anyway it is better not to get up too late to enjoy this beautiful city. I highly recommend this apartment!

Good location in the city center, most of the attractions are within walking distance. But really a bit noisy at night, especially late at night holiday was also noisy. The house is clean, the decor is also very characteristic, although the owners have a dog and the room has no door, the dog sometimes rushed to slide around. Toilet on the second floor of the elders is a slight inconvenience. The owner who gave us a good cake Netherlands, the first day there to help us light candles and incense every day to help us collect things tidy (a little inconvenient ha ha), in short, still a great experience!

After advance to have had nice contact, containing it to have been explained amends for his December 12th we arrived at the apartment of Jeanette for a weekend in Amsterdam. She was not at home but everything was done to make it easy for us! The apartment was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Furthermore, a very cool interior that makes you feel right at home :) Highly recommended and worth repeating for us. Hopefully we will see each other in real life!

This boat is very convenient and centrally located, to all the bars and restaurants, red light district, and the central train station. I stayed for three days and never used a taxi or public transportation once. Definitely ideal for a single traveler, but very easy and unique. It absolutely made my trip.

The boat was exactly as described in the pictures and it was a great experience. I was greeted by Mayra and she was a great host, very friendly and easy to communicate with. Will definitely recommend the boat if your are looking for a unique way to experience Amsterdam.

The boat is just as advertised. It's small and cozy, a bit too small if you're as big as me (1.80m tall and a bit overweight, not gonna lie) but don't let that persuade you away from the stay. The boat is located on a prime location if you're planning to visit the city centre and the surrounding attractions and to be honest, if you're going to be seeing the city, you're not gonna spend a lot of time in the room, otherwise you might want to look for something a bit more comfortable. I walk away from this experience with a lot of good memories.

This little boat was fantastic! Great location, and very peaceful. At night it is very quiet and in the morning there are few tourists. Perfect boat for a couple or as an alternate to a hostel. The bed is very snug and is the perfect size for two, but with one there is much more room. Plus, there are 2 couches, perfect size to nap on! The host is fantastic and is very welcoming and accepting. This was a very special and exciting way to experience Amsterdam! PS (I would also recommend renting bikes for your time there)

"One day, I would like to try buying a boat and floating it on the river in Amsterdam" It is an inn that let me experience such a dream simulatedly. Below are experiences (people who do not care about small things may enjoy better not to read) The reservation site I used this time is (URL HIDDEN) expedia, airbnb, the above three sites. Searching around Amsterdam city center is pretty expensive, roughly everywhere over 10,000 yen per night. Searching for less than one ten thousand yen, there are only about bunk bed style dormitory type. Meanwhile, when searching by airbnb, there was a narrowly-stayed place that appears at the top of every time. "New posting" So the newly posted inbuilt will always be the top search, for a while, with a GourNavi? However, there is no problem because it costs around 10,000 for budget. Take a look at it in detail ,,, ship? When I look closely, the appearance of the boat floating on the river comes into my eyes. That's why it's narrow. But, how about it? How about a toilet? What about the shower? It does not convey only by image information of airbnb. Just the other inns are high or far from the city. OK, let's stay here! (3 nights Regretfully it attacks slightly, although it pierced with the momentum. I greeted the host for the time being. The returning mail is very impressive, and it is said that I am the first customer. Well, let's interpret that you bought the right to become the first customer of this inn. And that day. The host woman who joined along the river was a very impressive one. I was preparing to hurry until a while ago! There is also a deca of instruments going with a smile. The boat was smaller than I thought. I felt broadly except when entering inside. It is not a lie to have a maximum of 4 people, but it is indeed crowded too much. The toilet is a type hidden under the bed. In order to add more, I have to disassemble the bed each time, because I am troublesome, I decided to add back my work before returning to the boat as much as possible. If you want to take a shower, you will lend a shower of the host at the nearby hostel. I just did not borrow it during the period so I do not know the details. Although wifi has not been installed at the moment, it is under consideration that it is like a mobile router. Many wifi are flying in the vicinity, so maybe you do not need it if you can make good use. And when I stayed there was no inner key yet, so it was a specification that can not be locked from the inside. So, when you stay at yourself, you need to contact in advance if you are interested. With this in mind, I'd love to recommend it to those who think it would be interesting. Drinking beer on day and night boat deck is hard to change on anything, and it is unusual to have a thought on a voyage trip inside a small shaking ship. "Vulnerable to seasickness" It is natural, but since it is a ship, it shakes. Plenty of sightseeing boats come and go during the day during the day. Sometimes a boat goes late at night. "Claustrophobia" The height of the back half of the cabin where the bed is installed is about the same as when you lie down when you lie down. The location of Ivan's room is very good. It's close to the central rail station, only a few minutes walk. It's also very close to Dam Square, Nieuwekerk and Madame Tussaud Scenerama. It's easy to go shopping and restaurants. The room is clean. Ivan is always quick to respond to my questions. He is a good host.

Clean place super central! Good appart if you are early 30's and you like climbing on a mezzanine! Aside from heating problems (not so cool but manageable), quiet place within walking distance from everything you wish for! Good overall experience while on business near my work place!

When I saw the pictures of the room I thought it's pretty small, but I was amazed how big it is. I like the fact that it has so many windows, because It was a bit hot when I was there. I asked Ivan if he has a Fan, the next day he bought a new one. Huge PLUS(+). The location also is perfect. Super close to everything. I'm pretty glad the host and the stay were really good. I will definitely consider it next time when I go to AMS. The only comment I have is that the stairs were really steep. Wasn't really a problem with me, but I guess it's pretty common thing in Amsterdam

Great host, great location!

Ivan's room is a cute little thing right in the middle of tourist-center Amsterdam. It is a 5 minute walk from the station and within walking or cycling distance from most of he tourist attractions. It was neat and clean. Ivan made himself fairly scarce but was friendly when I did see him. The wifi signal is a bit patchy and the towels are teeny-tiny.

Beautiful and spacious area. Alex is great with helping you around as well as accommodating check in and check out times. We highly recommend to any couple.

Probably the best value for money apartment you can find in such a central part of Amsterdam. Location is very good; apartment is minimal but very clean. Alex was a very friendly and helpful host too. Surprisingly quiet for its central location, though there will be the usual noisy bunch on the street (which is probably inevitable in Amsterdam). I would stay here again!

Me and my friends had a really pleasant time in Amsterdam thank's to Hayat. The flat was in a perfect localisation near to Dam place and in the center ! She give us the opportunity to leave the flat later so we could leave our bag inside the flat for the day. The flat is exactly as the pictures. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY !!!! This was our first use of an air BNB and it will be our last. The only good thing about this place is the location. The room is small and dingy - I felt dirty sleeping one night in there. The bathroom was not up to my expectations of cleanliness probably because it's shared with other people. Never even went up to the kitchen we spent so little time here and ran immediately as we found bugs. We were booked here for three nights and left after one night when we noticed the ants. The first morning we woke up I found one crawling on my leg in bed. I thought nothing of it obviously bugs are part of life but after leaving for the afternoon and coming back to shower around 7 pm we realized there more, a lot more. They were coming in under the baseboards behind the bedroom door - the wall adjacent to the hallway enternance. (Right where my suitcase was yuck) We immediately booked another hotel packed up and left. I emailed the host immediately after we left asking for refund to which she responded that I was lying there are no ants. Then she said we had food in the room and that's why there were ants but they are gone now. I don't know about you but I've lived in a house for 30 years and had food in my house and bedroom before and never had ants, that's a pathetic excuse. She has been less than helpful in resolving the problem and returning my money. She is claiming that I had other reasons to leave because ya know it was really covenient for me to find another hotel close by pack up and move and argue with her for days about this. I have had to contact air BNB and MasterCard and I am still in talks with everyone to get our money back. I've emailed her a video showing the ants crawling where I said and she is yet to respond to me. I strongly urge you not waste your time or money - this place is gross and the host is not easy to deal with if anything goes wrong.

The location was perfect, the room was very clean, and access to the well equipped kitchen was nice. The bathroom was shared with another tenant which was ok but sometimes led to long waits. Bathroom was very clean and nice. The room was perfect for what we needed. Rather small tho but workable. Room was directly against the street so rather noisy at times, but that didn't bother us. Daria was a wonderful host, very responsive most of the time. She even helped us with our laundry and brought us fresh towels half way through our stay. Would definitely recommend Daria's place, great value and location. Thank you Daria!

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Daria's place. It has the perfect location for exploring Amsterdam city (we walked everywhere) and it is also very close to the central station (perfect for day trips). The room was clean, but the bathroom was a little bit dirty since we shared it with some other guests. When we needed help Daria replied immediately and arranged something.

House is placed in a central location. Tram is just couple of minutes away. Central train station and Dam square is 10 min by walk. Room was clean, bathroom was very good, with a variety of body lotions etc. Daria and her friends are so friendly. They are looking forward to make you comfortable. We had a little problem with the wifi reception but they will surely solve this in coming days. Bed was very comfortable and big. Recommended house!

Daria's place is a quick walk from the main train station. The airbnb was just completed that morning so it was immaculate in every way, everything was new and freshly painted, while we were looking around she finished setting up the wifi for us. Daria was very accommodating and quick to respond, we blew a circuit one night around 10pm and she came over right away to fix the problem. It was a wonderful place with a perfect location

A nice place in a great location. However, the room, shared bathroom and shower have been a bit sloppily renovated. It was also quite noisy during our stay due to construction work right under the window. Jorge was a great host and works downstairs, so getting and returning the keys is easy.

The location and cleanliness in the space of Jorge, plus his great friendliness and attention make of this place ideal to experience Amsterdam. I was only there one night, but I am sure that when I return to the city, I will want to stay in this space.

We loved the location in the heart of Amsterdam! Love the beautiful stained glass windows, the beds were very comfortable and the host was eager to answer questions and give us tips. It was a very nice experience to stay at Brouwer, the host is very kind and helpful, the house is in front of canal and close to centre station. I particularly love the breakfast there, simple but really nice.

Daniel's place offers a spectacular view of Amsterdam canals. Nicely located close to farmers market, Winkels 43 famous apple cake and the core of Amsterdam nightlife. Great for one or two nights of exploring.

This place is great! The location is perfect: just a 10 minute walk from the central train station and fewer steps away from a tram stop (from where you can take direct rides to the main sights and museums). The place is very genuine: it is a well preserved 17th-century canal-house. The room is small, simply furnished, cozy, comfortable and very clean... and it has a breathtaking view of the canal!!! Others: Lovely owners, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, small but functional lift, daily cleaning. It was a very genuine experience; it is not the Ritz, but it offers more than that: uniqueness and originality...and I appreciate that! :)

The only issue I had was that the official address for the place, at least when I booked it, was located about a ten minute walk away from where it actually was (it was actually closer to Amsterdam's Central Station, which was convenient).

The location of this airbnb is on the oldest street in Amsterdam, a 6 minute walk to Amsterdam Central Station and a few blocks away from the Red Light District. The place was clean and secure, with two locked doors to enter the room. This was a private room, and he respected my space and my valuables. I highly recommend. There are two flights of stairs, but if you are able-bodied, I would highly recommend!

Comfortable, convenient, safe place in the middle of Amsterdam's Red Light District. Traveling solo, I enjoyed the location as well as easy access to everything Amsterdam beyond the District. Tight stairs, though I understand that's common. Church bells ring on the quarter hour everyday, though not through the night. If the place was full of guests, the one toilet and showerroom might be a challenge.

La verdad que no pude elegir mejor piso y anfitrión :). Dave me hizo sentir como si fuera de su familia, me ayudo en todo para conocer bien los mejores lugares de Ámsterdam. La habitación es acogedora y grande, el piso esta muy bien en la zona más céntrica de Ámsterdam. Muchas gracias por todo, volveré :)
