  • You can expect a very large individual house with great space in the rooms. Very ornate individual choice of furniture but a lovely homely feel to the house. We were a group of 9 and had all the space we wanted. Great large house.

The house is very well equipped with everything you need for a great family evening, even a heated food trolly for serving dinner. Jonathan was on hand at all times to assist and was a great host! Very highly recommended.

  • This is an AMAZING property beautifully located and just great place to have down time. Some lovely walks, the bed is super comfy even equipped with electric blanket! Tina & Jasper are always at hand to answer any questions that you have too. There was lots of nice touches, with fruit left, yogurts, cereal for us to eat. The stain glassed window above the bed is a wow factor and when the sun shines through ..make sure you have your camera on the ready! We enjoyed it very much, we visited the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, walked to the pub & back for nice Sunday dinner. We also went to the Thai restaurant in Shafton, nothing to look at from the outside, plus you have to walk through the pub to get to the restaurant but wow the flavours were amazing ( the lady chef used to cook for the Prince apparently in Thailand ) Really pleased we got the chance to stay at this place, a little different then your average weekend away! Thank you 🙏🏽

    Srabani2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Christina and Jasper were kind, generous and attentive hosts. Just the right amount of attention. There as and when you needed them. The accomodation was quirky, comfortable and had everything you needed and more. Location was fantastic with loads of local attractions nearby or rural walks if that's your preference. Was exactly as you see in the photos. I would recommend it.

    Rebecca2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • A really unique place. Perched at the top of the Yorkshire hills, we were perfectly placed for the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in an incredible converted room, unlike anything I've previously stayed in. The hosts Christina and Jasper were fantastic from start to finish. One of our best and most interesting experiences on airbnb, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

    Seb2020-01-26T00:00:00Z

  • Sarah’s house was really clean and spacious! We really enjoyed our stay there. Sarah is an excellent host and responded quickly to any questions I had.

  • We stayed here as a group of couples with babies and toddlers. The house is well equipped, high spec and has a lovely finish. There are quite a few levels for rampaging toddlers to navigate but it was manageable. We were able to squeeze a cot in all the rooms and there is definitely enough living space for lots of people. We would happily stay here again.

    John2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I would 100% recommended staying at Sarah’s place, it had been amazing. The house is big and there is plenty of room everywhere. I would definitely come back:)

  • We had a lovely weekend staying at Oak tree farm. There was plenty of space for everyone to eat, sleep and socialise. The social areas were perfect for a gathering of friends. The house is in a beautiful location. Extra touches in the house like the knight and the piano really made the house unique. The kitchen was very well equipped with all utensils you could possibly need!

    Imogen2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We returned again to this lovely house for our annual reunion. Once again, it lived up to our expectations. Plenty of space for a dog, baby and 10 adults. Plenty of pubs locally and walks to do across the countryside. I'm sure we will be back!

    Jenny2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely house in a beautiful location. Oak Tree Farm was extremely well equipped with everything we could need and it really felt like home. There were plenty of toys and books for the children. The beds were comfortable. Stocksmoor is a very peaceful place and we enjoyed the views of hills, fields, and sheep. It was lovely to be able to set out on a gentle walk from the doorstep or drive to more adventurous walks in the Dark Peak area. Highly recommended.

    Imogen2020-01-03T00:00:00Z

Located in the lovely Yorkshire village of Clayton West, the surrounding countryside is very peaceful and quiet. Our newly renovated studio flat is self-contained, comprising of an entry hall with kitchen, a shower room with toilet and a bed-sitting room. The whole place is wonderfully light and airy with large windows and high ceilings. There is free off road parking, right outside your own entrance, available during your stay, making loading/unloading as convenient as possible for you.
The kitchen is equipped with crockery, cutlery & cooking utensils, toaster, kettle, sink, half-size dishwasher, single plate induction hob, microwave and under-counter fridge with ice compartment. The bathroom contains a vanity unit with small basin, toilet, walk-in shower and underfloor heating. The bed-sitting room has a day bed, a large dining table with four chairs, a wardrobe, a cupboard and a flat screen TV with DVD player. The day bed opens out into a doule bed. The room has three large, double glazed windows, one west facing and two south facing - it’s wonderfully bright. Outdoor seating & a portable BBQ available upon request. Bicycles can be locked indoors over night. As well as the complementary tea & coffee we can provide extra milk, eggs, bread, butter, jams & honey etc. at an additional cost. Vegan options available. Please let us know if you want us to provide a continental breakfast or fill the fridge for you. Let us know if there’s anything else we could do to help you to enjoy your stay. No WiFi available at the moment, but we have excellent connection to the 4G network. The studio flat is part of an old industrial building, originally built as the weaving shed for Kaye’s Textile Mill, around 1880. After the mill was shut down the weaving shed became the village hall. At one point in the 1920s it was a roller skating rink. It then became a book binders and in the 1930s Walker’s Printers. As the owner was also an organist, playing at the local churches and chapels, there used to be organs along one wall and the apprentice boy had to operate the bellows during his break, while eating his lunch, so that Mr. Walker could practice. It has been our family home for the last ten years. I am a textile designer and my husband John is a photographer and filmmaker, so we have studio spaces and a workshop. We both work from home and host events here. We also rent the studio space out. Though I’m new to AirBnB, I grew up on a farm in Bavaria, where my family ran holiday flats, [and still do]. Before studying textile design I worked in the hotel and hospitality industry for ten years. John ran an outdoor pursuits centre in the South of France for seven years. We both have lots of experience in hospitality and are looking forward to making your stay with us extra special.

Louise showed us where to help ourselves to warm drinks in the kitchen and where to eat that evening - bath towels huge and fluffy - bedroom was quirky which I liked - and bathroom had a lovely big bath but we only stayed one night and shower fine. Loved the Temple Spa products ! Bed so so comfy too. A great find. Thanks again.

  • Heath was a fantastic host! From the moment of booking we were contacted within the hour with details of checking in and directions etc. Heath kept in contact each step of the way, this was our first airbnb stay, so didn't know what to expect, but Heath pulled out all the stops to make our night away a pleasure. The cottage is a little hidden gem and ultra cosy! We had just the one nights stay and felt like it was a home away from home, everything clean and sparkling. We specifically loved the artwork throughout the house, along with an array of books and games that kept us entertained on a dark winters night. Everything was perfect, a testament to a good host. We hope to stay again in the future! Ashley and Katie

  • What a find. A very quirky, rustic place of tranquility. A very warm and cosy place in spite of the wind and some rain. Everything you need ( in fact more than enough Dvds, games and books ) . Some great walks locally and 2 great pubs. I ate at the Red Lion which was cosy, friendly and good pub food.

    Jan2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to stay and Heath is a brilliant host, with excellent local knowledge. We loved our stay here and would love to come back again

    Mark2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Only had one night at heaths but I loved it! The cottage is full of interesting bits and pieces. Lots of interesting books to browse and a well equipped kitchen. Heath is only round the corner for any questions and you might be lucky and get his cat as a visitor! The place is so quaint and charming. There is a pub literally down the lane but I did not get chance to check it out. If you like a walk/run I did a great 10k loop round digley reservoir which is only 10mins drive away. I will definitely be back with more time to explore.

  • An amazingly quirky place to stay. From the decor to the animals, Heath's property is quite an experience. He's exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Could have easily spent weeks here with how much there is to do in the surrounding area. Holmfirth is full of great food, views, and experiences. Not a dull moment here! Thanks for a great stay, we'll have to come back soon!

    Kyle2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved our stay! The cottage is beautiful with lovely rustic features like exposed brick throughout the cottage. Heath is a great host and made us feel very at home. The cottage has a really cosy feel to it and is easily heated. It's within walking distance of the local pubs and thanks to a recommendation from Heath, we had a lovely meal in The Red Lion. We will definitely be back!

    Lauren2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn't have asked for a better stay. A beautiful little treasure of a home with so many books, games and ornaments to look at. You can really tell that a lot of love has gone into this. The furniture matches beautifully with the style of the cottage and everything was very cosy. We were so impressed! Fantastic location too with gorgeous views all around. Heath was friendly and gave some great tips for food (the Carding Shed was fab!) and for things to see and do! Haven't enough good things to say about the whole stay!

    Erica2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Heath’s cottage is just lovely! Cosy, quirky and full of treasures. It’s ideally placed to explore the stunning local area, including Holmfirth. There are various dog friendly pubs just round the corner too. Heath has plenty of tips for where to go and to eat and has stocked the cottage with dvds and games to keep you entertained. All in all we had a great trip and would definitely return. ☺️

*Flexible cancellation recently added to prevent spread of Coronavirus. Property professionally deep cleaned before and after every booking* Beautiful cottage situated in Thurlstone, near Holmfirth/Sheffield/Peak District. Great for walks/cycling. Swedish Massage/Reflexology available to book. Ideal for a relaxing break. No TV channels but loads of DVD's, books, WIFI, Echo Dot. Chromecast/HDMI to run apps such as iPlayer/Netflix through your device. 5 min walk to pub, 1 to bakery.
It's one of the smallest dwellings in Thurlstone, which isn't a bad thing as it's just perfect for 1-3 guests and easy to keep warm and cosy. A quiet little under-dwelling with loads of character and a pretty, rural view. The building is listed, built in 1840, plenty of roadside parking.
Thurlstone is a quiet country town with a pub, free roadside parking, a small shop and lots of walks. Penistone is a market town and just 20 minutes away by foot. The award winning Huntsman Pub is a short stroll away, it's very popular with real ale drinkers and does amazing Sunday dinners and homemade pies. The new Fox Valley Mall is located nearby, it has plenty of shops and various restaurants. 10 minute drive. Also a 15 minute walk from the house is an Italian restaurant based in an old blacksmith forge (Tiamo) I think it is very good, fairly expensive (but quality) specials and reasonably priced pizza and pasta with 241 on Sundays and Tuesdays. Across the road from this is an Indian restaurant, very tasty food and reasonable prices (Taste of India). The White Hart is a highly rated pub/wine bar situated between and also does food. The Trans Pennines trail (five mins from my cottage) is perfect for biking and walking. You can rent bikes on the trail, half a day for £18. Or you can rent my city bike, helmet and lock for £10 a day. Langsett Resevoir is a very picturesque walk with a pub and cafe at its base, it's a 40 minute walk to get there, or five minute drive (recommended) Cannon Hall and Cawthorne Park is a ten minute drive away. Recommended!! The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is also close for drivers.
  • We had a lovely stay. Everything was easy to find and clean. It was quiet, beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy!

    Valentina2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfectly clean and excellently maintained. The location was great and we felt surrounded by nature but still had amenities. A lovely cosey hideaway.

    David2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place with a gorgeous cottage feel and arty decor. We had everything we needed and were well set up for cooking our meals there. The bed was very comfortable and finishing the trip with a lovely Swedish massage from our host Kirsty was fantastic. She was very friendly and accommodating and great with communication. Highly recommend!

    Alice2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place to stay, very relaxing And clean. Everything was easy. Thank you

    Helen2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Kirsty's cosy cottage is a little gem of a find! We loved the fact it didn't have television - not really a fan of television anyway but you can connect the HDMI cable that's provided if you want to watch stuff. Loved that you can spend time here and connect with one another (quite literally!) we played connect 4! We played some other games, we read interesting books, there's a huge array of books all very interesting (Sheffield Gang Wars amongst others) The pictures on the wall - all make an interesting discussion. I love how the place has been decorated. Thoughtful touches - breakfast in the fridge, thoughtful handwritten (I LOVE handwritten stuff being a writer myself) messages everywhere, the tree of positivity, the map of shipwrecks in the bathroom. As soon as you walk in, the vibe is positive and relaxed. There's an Alexa which we've never used before and found that quite hilarious - you can ask for a daily trivia quiz which we did and a nightly music quiz. There's a friendly and welcoming pub 5 minutes up the road that serves great ales and nice food - a pub the way it should be! Really good value for money. Last but not least!! Kirsty, as a host, is lovely and welcoming. I booked a full Swedish massage with reflexology an hour and a half and it was excellent value for money and pure relaxation (and included a foot spa!) I highly recommend having one of the treatments if you stay here. We will be back :D

    Simone2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Cute space in a good location with easy parking and easy access to a supermarket. Had all the amenities. Check in was easy. Def recommend.

    Gimo2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Kirsty's place was a beautiful cosy cottage to explore this part of the world. The village and surrounding area are very picturesque with lots of beautiful landscapes, pubs and walks to explore. Highly recommended.

    Leon2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is absolutely perfect. It is small, cozy and full of character. When we arrived in the evening, lights had been left on and it was friendly and welcoming. It was lovely and quiet in the area which was what we had wanted. It had everything that we needed whilst we were there. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen jam packed with pots, pans and knick knacks and we loved the selection of dvds and music available. The pub up the road was really nice too and worth a visit. It’s a great base for getting out and about in the area.

    Adam2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • The house is excellent. There’s is nothing bad I can say about it. It’s located on a fairly quiet road and has a driveway for your car. There is enough entertainment to keep you busy on rainy days. Netflix is available as long as you have an account to sign into, Plenty of DVDs to choose from and a games console with two controllers with a selection of games to choose from. The sofa is very comfortable and the beds are very comfy too. The kitchen has all the basic things you’ll need to cook. All in all a great house. The host, James, is very friendly and professional. He knows the local area very well. He is very quick at responding to any questions you may have and will respond on the same day.

  • Lovely place, great comms from James and an unspoilt gem of a town. We used James' home to explore the surrounding area of Yorkshire and found it to be a great place for returning home to each night. The house has all you need to stay comfortable during a break, with comfy beds, super snuggly duvets and an all round quality home to enjoy. The local pub is also very interesting with very friendly owners, an eclectic mix of clientele, well looked after ales and good pub grub when it was needed. Thanks James

  • Linda was an excellent host offering a very warming welcome upon arrival. Her property is tastefully decorated throughout, and the room offered to me was of a high standard. It was warm and cosy with Deep pillows all contributing to a great nights sleep. I would highly recommend this property to others who require accomodation in this area. Linda is very friendly and she does her absolute best to offer you “Quality of Service” which she delivers in abundance...

  • A great, comfy spare room in a welcoming new house. Linda is a friendly host (it's well worth paying for breakfast when it's organic homemade muesli and homemade jam) and helped us with a taxi, directions and so on.

    Graham2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • We stopped here as we were going to a party at a nearby pub. It was a difficult weekend for the property owner Linda but rather than just blocking it off as unavailable she went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible so a big thank you to her. The house is as described; very new and furnished to a high standard. Linda keeps it very clean and obviously works hard to ensure her guests are well looked after - she communicated by return and answered any questions we had such as available taxi's. We can throughly recommend staying at this accommodation.

  • Wonderful place to stay, the house was well designed and has everything you could possibly need. We will for sure be back as we had a brilliant time. On a few occasions I had a couple of questions for Chris and he was super responsive and efficient. The only thing I would mention is that the beds are (as advertised, I just didn’t read it, whoops) double beds so if you are coming from America you might find them a little small. But having spoken to some locals I understand that most people in northern England sleep in double beds so I think it’s just a cultural difference. But really I couldn’t fault the place, it was fantastic and we will look forward to coming back!

  • What a lovely few days in Pell Dell. The apartment was perfect for what we needed and the little extra touches, especially for our dog Biscuit, were really appreciated. She loved the big comfy bed! The location was ideal too, with Holmfirth within walking distance and lots of stunning scenery for leisurely dog walks within a short drive. The fridge and cupboard were stocked with everything we needed for breakfast and there was even a beer and wine chilling ready for us to start our relaxing break. Sara is on the end of the phone if needed and there's lots of useful local information on hand in the apartment. Perfect end of summer break for us, We will be back! 😊

Every detail was perfect, and I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t feel pure joy waking up in that glorious space in such a gorgeous place with such breathtaking views! I can not recommend the cottage and the goats more highly! BRILLIANT in every way!!

Stylish, newly renovated apartment with personal touches. Designer furnishings, luxury king-size bed, L’Occitane, Aveda and Jo Malone products and home-made sourdough bread on a good baking day! We’re located in Farnley Tyas, a quiet rural village only 10 mins drive from Holmfirth and Huddersfield. Escape from the fast lane by exploring ancient woodland and country paths. Or simply stay in and relax to the sound of distant sheep and church bells. Compliant with all Airbnb deep cleaning protocols
Our house nestles near ancient woodland in Farnley Tyas, a quiet picturesque village offering wonderful views of Castle Hill, farmland and wooded glens in the valley bottom. We’re a stone’s throw from a range of fabulous traditional Yorkshire pubs, offering warm fires, a selection of some of the best real ales and great grub. If you prefer to stay closer to home, take advantage of the newly fitted kitchen, equipped with an induction hob, microwave oven, fridge, freezer and breakfast bar to create an intimate supper for two. The recently refurbished bedroom features a king-size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, Wi-fi and TV (with access to iPlayer and Netflix), and has a beautiful en-suite bathroom. 5* hotel touches include dressing gowns, slippers and spa products to make you feel at home. The apartment is also fitted with laundry facilities, including: washer, drier, clothes horse and hangers. Turn into the courtyard to find private parking, a small seating area and private door to your accommodation. The main entrance lies at the rear, where you will find a warm welcome to our family home and suggestions for local attractions and activities, should you need inspiration. We're used to little ones and so can supply a high chair and travel cot with bed linen on request.
Here in Farnley, we have walks off the beaten track and cycle routes to Holme Moss (as seen in the Tour de France). Attractions include: Castle Hill, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Cannon Hall, Hard Castle Craggs, Langsett Reservoir and the Strines. Or from our Pennine location, you can strike further afield and head into the Yorkshire Dales or Peak District. If shopping and city lights are more your thing, we’re a short drive away from Leeds, Manchester, York, Harrogate and Sheffield. The picturesque villages of Holmfirth, Hebden Bridge and Haworth offer great options for relaxing strolls, browsing independent shops or stopping for tea and cake. Our nearest pub, 'The Golden Cock', offering good pub grub and guest beers, is just a 2 minute walk away, but there are many other great local options.
  • Julie is a wonderful host and the apartment is fantastic - comfortable, well equipped and in a lovely location.

    Sarah2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great little property with nice touches from the owner!

    Rosie2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Julie was the most thoughtful host you can imagine. We had a wonderful nights stay! It was a fantastically well furnished place, a lovey village, great local pub, parking on the premises which made it very easy. Will definitely be back!

    Graham2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house with everything you need! Julie is a fantastic host who will inform you of local attractions and assist you with whatever you need. 10/10

    Rhianne2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Julie and Luis for a lovely stay. Parking: there was ample free parking outside the property on the roads, although put your wing mirror in as the road is tight for other cars passing Check in: self check in was easy with a lock box Space: the room is a good size with a very comfy queen size double bed. There is a TV and ensuite bathroom which gave a nice hot shower! There is a small kitchenette which had everything we needed to cook a simple breakfast and dinner Things to do: I was here on work so I didn't explore the area too much although Luis advised me there's a woodland walk across the road and also a nice pub within a few minutes walk. The stay felt like home from home with Julie and Luis being really friendly and approachable and would go the extra mile - thanks for the window scraper for my iced up car! All in all a lovely stay and would recommend.

  • What a lovely setting with even lovelier accommodation. The location is just beautiful with more walks than your legs can handle, plenty dog friendly pubs and places to eat! Then to return to such a lovely home and sit in front of the fire, what more could you ask for. There are areas within the property to walk in the morning and at night before heading out for the day. The accommodation was much bigger than the pictures let on, the decor is fantastic and there were some lovely touches that made our stay that little bit more special. Communication was great and check in was flawless. Although the cottage is set within a livery yard that has people coming and going, noise and privacy were never an issue, everyone was incredibly welcoming. Allowing us to be as social or antisocial as we pleased lol. Being able to watch the horses in the arena was a pleasure. The guidebook is FULL of fantastic places to go, we haven’t had a more dog friendly Airbnb. We hope to return in March if availability allows.

    Katie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place with beautiful fittings and hospitality. Loved the log burner and the stables next door. Little Otis was adorable 😘. A warm, spotlessly clean stay with great pubs and things to do for a short break. We will be back

    Sharon2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Immaculate and comfortable home. Host is friendly, approachable and has fantastic local knowledge. We were made to feel very welcome. The property is very dog friendly, we travelled with our Spaniel and he made friends with the house dogs. Overall a fantastic stay, would recommend to anyone with or without dogs.

    Mark2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cottage in gorgeous surroundings situated in the private grounds of the hosts accommodation. The cottage is nestled between the main house and the stables . If you love horses and dogs this place is an absolute must!! Fantatstic for walkers or cyclists and so dog friendly. We had an amazing weekend. A fabulous find and would love to return.

    Samantha2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • A really lovely place and a very friendly host - in an entirely unobtrusive way. Samantha's holiday cottage is adjacent to her own house and within a stables and horse-training complex. Quiet and peaceful and in beautiful countryside. The house is decorated to a very high standard indeed with lots of room - though with only one bedroom (there is a comfortable sofa bed in the lounge so 4 people can stay). The kitchen too is well fitted out and with good quality modern equipment. Everyone around was very friendly and willing to help with advice on local walks etc. We took our two dogs who had a whale of a time. And we enjoyed meeting Sam's three woolly bears (OK, Newfoundlands!). A lovely break.

    Peter2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Lovey place, great location. Lovely hosts. Great for dog lovers! Local walking routes were beautiful too. Loved the jacuzzi bath. Would definitely stay again.

    David2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing place, we hired it for Mother’s Day and had 10 people for lunch in the cottage. It is beautiful, I can’t think of anything bad to say all rooms are amazing, the kitchen had lovely touches like milk, dish washer tablets etc and the setting is truly stunning, plenty of walks on the door step, we will use again in the future for sure

    Kevin2019-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely cottage, which has been sectioned off from the main house, that has modern features but still maintains a countryside feel. My fiancé, 16 week old daughter and I came here to get away for the weekend and enjoyed a walk to The Dunkirk for lunch (little pathways were a bit difficult to manuvour a pram) and relaxing evenings by the fire. We will definitely be recommending it to family and friends :)

In what feels like a hamlet, Eagles Retreat is surrounded by beautiful trees. It is close to a lovely pub called The Cherry Tree; Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Cannon Hall Farm, Cawthorne and other lovely villages. Five minutes to the M1 with access to Barnsley, Sheffield and Derbyshire to the south, Leeds, York and Harrogate to the north, there are plenty of beautiful places to visit for a holiday or mini break.
  • Tina and Jasper are the most lovely couple and the Eagles Retreat was so magical. Tina and Jasper were so accommodating with the small mixup with apartment availability and were SO unbelievably kind to allow us to use their own personal space to use. We had great conversation and just lovely lovely people! We really would love to come back in the future to stay again and maybe even tap into the spiritual guidance that they are both devoted to doing. Highly recommend this place if you love a unique stay and love meeting new amazing people!

  • Dear Jasper, you were an absolutely fantastic host. Without your kind support with taxi service which took a lot of your time, and the generous cooked breakfasts and your company we would have had more struggle and a much duller time. The church experience was fascinating and I look forward for some occasion when we can experience the tower room. Thanks so much, Nick

  • Really interesting place to stay with hosts who are so friendly and helpful. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with extra thoughtful added touches. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. Nothing was too much trouble for Christina and Jasper who did everything they could to ensure we had a lovely stay. Many thanks.

  • My husband booked a room at the church as we were attending a wedding nearby, communication from Christina was fabulous and we were even given a lift to and from the wedding. The church is lovely place, welcoming and homely and lots of little detail to ensure an amazing stay... We both enjoyed our poached eggs which were cooked to perfection... We are hoping to visit again and spend more time in this lovely building as our visit this time was so brief... again thanks to Christina and Jasper...

  • Staying at Christina's has been the most memorable and pleasurable experience I have had with Airbnb. Spent Christmas here and it was so charming. Tina's hosting and hospitality is unmatched. She absolutely thinks of every thoughtful touch to give guests. The room was even more amazing in person and filled with so many cozy amenities. I cannot say enough how much I recommend this listing to travelers wanting to get away to the countryside. The ultimate retreat!Thank you to Tina! I leave with so many memories
