  • Well kept, clean cottage in a great village location near the sea. Good additional extras for our teenage kids including Netflix, games consoles and fast WiFi! Easy walking distance to a good food pub and opposite a convenience store. Scott was a great host with excellent communication.

  • Cosy comfortable home from home with gorgeous decor. Everything you could possibly need with lots of thoughtful extras. Excellent host always ready to answer any questions

  • Great place with nice touches like candles games and sky tv. Lovely and clean. Great shower and I am always disappointed by showers! Real fire. Loads of board games and big dining table to play them at. We walked into saltburn on sea with ease but hilly on the way back if you have mobility problems but the bus service seemed fairly frequent even on a weekend. Shop across the road. Fast communication with host too.

  • Great host and great cottage, couldn’t ask for more :)

    Rich2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place is better than the description in my opinion. The facilities, accommodation, cleanliness are all very good indeed. Scott's comms were great too. All in all, there's nothing negative to report. Have not left a review like that before, anywhere. Thanks Scott! Very highly recommended.

    Ian2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very easy to find, warm and comfortable. The location right across from the market was nice and little things like parking, constant heat and early communication with checkin instructions were all much appreciated.

    Rachel2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Having decided at 7.30pm Sunday we were going on a road trip to the seaside the next day, I appreciated the fast response from Scott when booking this last minute 1 night stay. Cottage as expected, comfortable, good location and clean. Quick communication. Thank you.

  • Loved this place. It’s in a great spot in Saltburn with a fantastic view out across the sea and Valley Gardens. The place was even nicer than it looked on the pictures and had loads of space for our 18 month old to run around in and explore. Parking was no problem at all and it was very handy for local shops and breakfast places.

A pleasantly situated spacious cottage built in the old historic part of Guisborough Town. This is the Ancient Capital of Cleveland and a small market town situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and close to numerous attractive seaside towns including Whitby, Runswick Bay and Redcar. An area with a reputation for outstanding walking and mountain biking and with excellent restaurants, bars and shops. Close to Middlesbrough and Tees Valley. Also ideal for workers and contractors.

Great little 2 bed property on a nice street in Carlin how.Perfectly situated for walks down to skinningrove beach and exploring the cliffs to Saltburn and Hummersea. Being on the Cleveland way there is lots to explore. We are a dog friendly property (to respectful dog owners). Main bed room double bed. Second bedroom bunk beds and bed settee which was brand new 23 dec Putting link as unfair negative review https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/askeby-2-seat-sofa-bed-graesbo-golden-yellow-50447970/
Carlin how is a very small close knit community. The houses are predominantly terrace houses that were for the miners and steel workers.
In Carlin How there is a chip shop , and a couple of shops , but the neighbour villages and towns of Loftus, Saltburn, Skelton all have bigger supermarkets and eateries
  • Me and my three boys love the space and the location. It’s refreshing to have a great size fridge and freezer. Internet was very good. The rooms were full of interesting little touches.

The Forge is perfectly located near Staithes on the Yorkshire coast for exploring the stunning coastal villages and towns, and relaxing on beautiful sandy beaches. The Forge is a stone built cottage positioned in a peaceful, secluded location along a farm track, just three miles from the picturesque village of Staithes on the Yorkshire Coast . It boasts of breath-taking, panoramic views of the sea and surrounding countryside, which are best viewed from the bedrooms and dining area. It has recently undertaken a full refurbishment and is a modern two bedroomed cottage with two bathrooms and open plan living area, complete with underfloor heating and a log burner. Patio doors from the dining room open onto a decking area with garden furniture, where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular view whilst dining alfresco. The Forge provides an extremely high standard of accommodation for families and couples and welcomes a well behaved dog. We apologise that we have not yet got any more photos of this property as it still undergoing renovations but we will put them on as soon as we can.
Grinkle is just 3 miles from the fishing village of Staithes with its quaint shops and has strong links to Captain Cook and his maritime history, traditional pubs serving home cooked food and a beach. The famous Cleveland Way twists and turns along the coastline dropping down into some wonderful bays and coves such as Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay and there are plenty of cycle routes across the area and a cycle hire shop in nearby Saltburn-by-the-Sea. The bustling town of Whitby is a short drive away with its myriad of shops, pubs and restaurants. Famous for its abbey and links to Bram Stoker’s Dracula there are plenty of things to see and do in the town and regular events and festivals throughout the year. The North York Moors are nothing short of spectacular and well worth a visit with many National Heritage Sites, walking routes and villages to enjoy. Beach 4 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile. The Forge can be booked together with Sea View cottage to provide accomodation for up to 8 guests. Originally an open ‘Forge’ we have created a ground and first floor unit of unique character and feel. There is an open plan modern well equipped kitchen/diner with patio doors opening out onto a decked area perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. A lovely bedroom with twin beds and a shower room alongside forms the rest of the ground floor area. Underfloor heating throughout the downstairs gives it a lovely cosy warm feel. Upstairs the living area with fabulous lob burner and quality furniture really makes you feel at home ideal for unwinding after a hard day exploring the area. A luxury second bedroom with en-suite bathroom including toilet and washbasin completes the first floor.
This is a quiet and traquil location yet still well situated for visiting beaches

  • A really lovely house - modern and well equipped. We had a phonecall on the day to discuss check in.

  • A cosy cottage kitted out to a very high standard. Handy location for Staithes, Whitby, Saltburn and the North York Moors railway and good network of paths from the cottage. Be aware that the road is a bit rough and parking fairly tight. The bathrooms are cosy but you do have 2. The view of Boulby Mine was a surprise, but other directions have lovely views. Overall, we loved it.

Lovely warm and friendly family home situated in the beautiful village of Marske by the Sea. This is an ideal spot that's centrally located making it perfect for commuters, students, contractors or weekend visitors to the area. Just a short walk from the bohemian town of Saltburn, 20 minutes from Middlesbrough, close to North Yorkshire Moors, Whitby, Northallerton, Thirsk and York. Surrounded by stunning countryside, beautiful clean beaches and breathtaking views.
My home is a modest 3 bedroomed terraced that overlooks a green with views of the countryside and woods beyond. The room you have booked is furnished with a single bed, a chest of 3 drawers and a built in wardrobe. Your room will have fresh clean bedding and towels, (if staying for a long duration, towels and bedding are changed every week or before on request) a hairdryer, full length mirror, tea, coffee facilities and a TV. You are welcome to help yourself to fresh OJ, tea, coffee and use of the kitchen. Parking is to the rear of the house and I recommend that this is how you access the property given the front of the house is not accessible by road and locating us by postcode can get confusing for people who don't know the area. Further details on how to find us will be provided prior to your stay.
My neighbourhood is largely made up of private housing which is ex authority property. It's quiet given no road access from the front and only parking at the rear - so no passing traffic. Marske village has a vibrant array of micro bars selling real ale, pubs, cafe's and restaurants - the village continues to grow in its diversity to cater for a wide variety of taste. We have the beautiful beach as seen on some of the photos and only a short and enjoyable walk from Saltburn which boasts the well known Victorian Italian Gardens, art galleries, restaurants, pier and I recommend a visit to The Cave on Milton Street, full of interesting art, photography and lots more bespoke items and gifts. Of course, the towns of Redcar and Middlesbrough are just a short car journey away making this a good place to stay if attending the University but want a quiet location to come back to . We have good access to North Yorkshire Moors, Whitby is a 35 min drive and in the other direction are the market towns of Northallerton, Thirsk and historic city of York.
  • Kay is a lovely host, welcoming and helpful, and her place is a brilliant base for coast path runs and sea swims. This is a great area, with interesting history and landscape and I really enjoyed my stay.

  • Lovely, friendly, welcoming host, nice quiet spotless house in a nice quiet area; seriously I slept for nearly 10 hours one night, something I never do at home. My five night stay provided a great four full days in a great location for exploring North Yorkshire. By way of example, on day one I walked along the beach from Marske to Saltburn and then on to Staithes along the stunning Cleveland Way (catching the excellent X4 bus back to Marske). The next day I caught the X4 to Whitby and walked from Whitby to Staithes. On day three I caught the train via Thornaby to spend a great day out enjoying everything there is to enjoy in York, and on day four I caught the train via Middlesbrough along the “scenic route” to Whitby, getting off at Grosmont (a couple of stops before Whitby) to enjoy a splendid day of operational steam trains and 40’s nostalgia at the annual “Railway in Wartime” festival being held by the North Yorks Moors Railway and Eden Camp. A fabulous break, made possible by a fabulous host; highly recommended.

Book your stay by the sea in a king bedroom with private bathroom. Lovely Victorian terrace home.
Book your stay in this lovely Victorian terrace house 100m from Saltburn's Marine Parade, overlooking 5 miles of pristine golden sand on the Jurassic Coast, majestic Huntcliff and the famous Victorian Pier. We are on the famous Cleveland Way walking route, where you can choose to head down the cost walking along lofty clifftops to Staithes, Whitby You will be free to make yourself totally at home - use the Kitchen, your own shower room and toilet, or chill in the front room or music room. It would be fantastic if the opportunity arises to chat and get to know you, but if you prefer privacy that is cool too. See my guidebook for things to do - there's lots to keep you occupied! In the morning you can lie in as long as you want and fix your own breakfast. I provide bread, jams, and eggs, coffee and tea. Re food - if you can see it, you're welcome to eat it. I promise you'll love our town as much as we do - we can't wait to meet you. Bianca.
Our neighbourhood is very friendly and welcoming to visitors. Our house is a terraced house (English trademark) painted light yellow and is pretty big inside, but looks small on the outside because it's dwarfed by the house next door. Saltburn is a very special Victorian cliff-top town. It's totally unpretentious, a bit of a bohemian enclave full of artists, alternative thinkers and some great local businesses. There is so much pride in our beach and our town, and in summer the town makes a special effort in the Northumbria in Bloom competition often winning prizes despite having very few houses with gardens. We also have the "Valley Gardens" and woods which is worth exploring - you might even find a victorian Viaduct hidden down there!
  • Bianca is a lovely host and we were given the use of all the kitchen facilities, if required. Bianca left tea and breakfast . Bed very comfy. We also used the lounge later evening to watch TV. So near to the sea, promenade and town and we loved Saltburn by the Sea.

  • Bianca was a great host and her house is in a perfect location in Saltburn. Great area for a little beach holiday along the beautiful Yorkshire Coastline. Would stay here again!

    Ruth2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very relaxed feel about the home but host was attentive when I was around. Had my own space but could be part of the home if this was what I wanted.

    Alex2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Bianca and her daughters are lovely, great hosts and very welcoming. The room we had was at the back of the house away from the road so that helps to minimise noise, although it's a quiet street to start with anyway. The bed is ridiculously comfy and as other reviews have mentioned, the shower is pretty cool too. There's a separate front room to use if you need, and full use of the kitchen helps if you need it. I Highly recommend staying here, if we haven't booked in again that is!!

  • Had a wonderful stay at Susan's place. Fantastic location just a few mins walk from Saltburn front and, if you a runner/ walker - onto the Cleveland Way. Never a problem to get on street parking. Flat was really spacious and rooms were thoughtfully furnished - the pics don't do it justice. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook meals. Super shower in bathroom and the central heating worked well, keeping the flat nice and warm on chilly winter evening. Comfy sofa / lounge perfect for relaxing in. Really good value - highly recommend. Thank you Susan. We hope to return again.

Having only been in Saltburn a short time myself I'm still learning about the area. I fell in love with it the first time friends brought me here; a beautiful Victorian seaside town with a great beach and a pier; then you can come back up on the Funicular to the shops and restaurants . All this within a 5 minute walking distance of the house.

  • Clean, comfortable and dog friendly which is so important to us. Can imagine the outdoor space would be lovely to sit in the summer, just a tad cold for us this time round to enjoy. Private parking at rear of property. Co-op next door for any supplies which is handy. Asda is roughly 10 min drive away. Great host who replied promptly to any questions and very pleasant when we met, kindly guided me out the gate to prevent me scratching my car 😊. Would stay again in warmer weather. The Observatory is a truly breath-taking holiday home. With a magnificent viewing tower showcasing unbridled views of Saltburn and the coast, it is a property like no other. The apartment is set within The Zetland - a beautiful Grade II listed building which originally opened in 1863. It was one of the world’s first railway hotels with its own private platform and you can still see the original canopy and railway buffer today. Described as ‘the jewel in the crown’, the building is packed with history and character. Sleeping up to 4 guests, The Observatory is the perfect place for family breaks or getaways with friends. We're a family run holiday accommodation business providing luxury holiday homes along the North Yorkshire coastline. We pride ourselves on providing premium accommodation along with quick and efficient communication. We are always on hand to help with any questions or queries you may have, and our twenty first century approach will mean you always get complete flexibility when booking your stay. Whether you're staying with us for one night or two weeks, we know that you will enjoy the comfort and luxury that comes as standard at each of our Stay North Yorkshire properties.
Upon entering The Observatory, you will be captivated by the bright and airy feel which flows throughout the apartment. Head left along the hallway and you’ll find the large, open plan living / dining area. The living area features comfy, plush sofas and a Smart TV so you’ll feel at home in no time at all. The dining area is perfect for entertaining friends and enjoying family meals. You’ll notice amazing artwork on the walls – from bright painted pieces to subtle photographs of the local area. In the summer months, you can open the balcony doors and let the warm air drift in. Out on the balcony, you’ll be wowed by the views. It’s the ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee and watch the world go by. Head to the incredible viewing tower and you’ve found the haven. Tall floor to ceiling arched windows curve around the tower and provide the best views. Watch as the waves lap the shore and the birds swoop over the cliffs in the distance. Back down the stairs and past the living area, you’ll find the kitchen. With a microwave, oven, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, refrigerator and dishwasher – you’ll have everything you need for your stay. The main bedroom is spacious and relaxing. Light streams in from the windows which are set within the quirky angles of the room. There is ample space for your belongings with built in wardrobes and a chest of drawers. To the left, you’ll find the en-suite bathroom which features a walk-in shower. The second bedroom features the same unique angles, with a large window facing you as you enter the room. The neutral colour scheme is relaxing, and you’ll enjoy your sleep in the comfy double bed. The main bathroom has a rustic feel with muted green panelling and natural colours. The large space features a deep bath so you can enjoy a long, relaxing soak in the tub during your stay.
The Observatory is located in the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast. Located in the heart of the town, the apartment is only a short walk from the beach and lower promenade. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance. The Observatory is close to all local amenities including independent shops, bars, restaurants and bistros. Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and the lovely Saltburn is featured. If you fancy a 17.5 mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are beautiful!

The apartment is very clean, the beds are comfy and we’ll definitely be returning back.

  • Amazing value. Quality touches everywhere. Baskets of towels and beautifully clean rooms. Well stocked kitchen. Most generous hosts. This is a great stay for North Yorkshire moors and coast. Great for a winter break. Will certainly be back.

    Giles2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • We really loved the place. Everything we needed was in the cottage and more! Trish and her partner met us on the night and took time to explain the workings of the heating and tv. If you've not used solid fuel central heating please make sure you pay attention to their explanations and ask questions if you're unsure, they will take the time to make sure you're comfortable! It's very important (especially if it's cold) as the fireplace controls all of your hot water and heating. Trish checked in on us by text during the weekend and was even willing (if we had needed it) to come and re-light the fire!!

    Daryl2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cosy fabulous house...Trish is just fab... everything beautifully clean and is ideal for Whitby and surrounding areas...great time in this lovely house

    Kev2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is the 3rd stay at Trish’s place, you will not be disappointed.

    Nigel2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing place, the photos do not it justice. Trish is an amazing host made sure we had everything we could possibly need. For us it was centrally located for everything but that of course depends on what you are doing and where you are going. Saltburn-by-the-Sea is about 7 miles away which is an absolutely amazing beach! The house was very clean and had all amenities. Would definitely recommend this property and Trish

  • Julie is a very good host and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with a nice warm fire on our arrival and plenty of breakfast options and even left a couple beers for us. Place was very clean and comfortable to stay in. Definitely recommend staying there if anyone is looking to stay in the Saltburn by the Sea area.

    Danny2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • A deceptively spacious cottage, great location for the coast and walking on the Moors. You will not find a better host than Julie! Fab communication, super helpful and the unexpected extras were fantastic. HIGHLY recommend!

  • Julie is a great host. She went out of her way to make us comfy. We had such a lovely, cosy evening sitting in front of the fire and we certainly enjoyed our breakfast. There was so much food provided, we were spoilt for choice. We had a fantastic stay!

  • The best AirBnB I've ever stayed it. Julie went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. The fire was ready lit for our arrival and she had left us breakfast ready to cook for the next day. We hope to be back very soon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Liam2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely incredible “super host!” Messages are replied to almost instantly, home is lovely and clean and provided with lots of amenities including delicious full English breakfast, cupboards well stocked with food supplies, bathroom toiletries and even activities for children. Home is like a B&B; not only for the device but the information stand is fantastic too showing local amenities, walks, transport routes and more! Fire was lit upon arrival which made us feel very well looked after and was then easy to keep going if you are not familiar with real fires. Don’t let this put you off either as the home was very well heated even during the cold February weather! Perfect for families especially with the park behind the house and local pub just 5 minutes walk away. Loved how the dogs could stay too and were catered for. Julie leaves little notes all over the house to help with the running which is great! Could not fault at all especially for the price! Thank you so much Julie x

Large light and airy SuperKingsize room at back of house.
This room has a Super king size bed that can also be separated into twins, if 3 people are staying it would be as a super king size bed and a pull out single, (there is not room for all 3 beds to be separate). It has a large ensuite shower room. The room is at the back of the house so views from the room are only of the back yard, however you will have use of the balcony overlooking the sea and lounge/dining area also with sea views.
  • Great location nearby a supermarket and the coast. The room is very clean and tidy with tea and coffee provided. The host is nice and friendly. Something needs to be noticed that shampoos and body washes should be brought.

  • Ruth is a wonderful host. She is warm and friendly and has many great tips and suggestions for excellent sight seeing. Our stay at Ruth’s beautiful seaside home ( with lovely sea views) has been the highlight of our trip to the UK .

    Liza2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second visit to Ruth's place in Saltburn and just as good as our first one a couple of years ago. Ruth's place is a very pleasant Victorian house in keeping with the overall Victorian atmosphere of Saltburn. There is a good continental breakfast included with great homemade lemon curd and marmalde, and a seaview as well. The house is nicely situated close to the beach and town. Ruth and Ralph are very welcoming and there is the handy bonus of having use of the kitchen.

    Ryszard2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Very hospitable host. Really clean rooms. Ruth makes you feel very welcome

    Conah2019-11-09T00:00:00Z

  • Ruth is a great host and her place is in an excellent location for Saltburn.

    Mike2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Ruth is a friendly and most helpful host of a clean and well kept but elderly house in Saltburn close to the centre. She has an increasing number of "regulars" and is recommended.

    Richard2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our room was lovely, bright, spacious and more then we expected. Ruth is lovely and welcoming and on hand if you’d like a chat about anything or if you need anything. Ralph was a lovely bonus as well, he was very happy to come say hello and have a little fuss. House is lovely and close to the beach. Would definitely go back for another visit.

  • I really enjoyed my time staying at Charlotte's in Saltburn. The house is stylish and spotless. The amount of space you get and size of the bathroom is great. The bed was very comfortable. They were lovely hosts and have an adorable little friendly dog. It's also perfect location to access everything. Saltburn is an up and coming sea side town. The beach is lovely, you can walk on the Cleveland Way and the town has many cafes to sample and some interesting shops as well as a nice deli. I recommend visiting Saltburn and staying here to do so!

The house is absolutely gorgeous and the bedroom is spacious, clean and comfortable and has everything you need, including a sea view and en suite bathroom. Charlotte and Stephen are absolutely lovely and accommodating. They are chatty and friendly and gregarious and the whole experience made our trip to Saltburn a happy and memorable one. I am sure we will return, not least because my son now has a passion for surfing and it is all he wants to do!!!

The photographer's en-suite is a bright, quiet, double bedroom with blackout blinds. My three story house is in an Edwardian terrace, a short walk to the centre of Saltburn. The town has a train station, local shops, a wonderful sea front and cliffs. There is a unique hydraulic cliff lift, a miniature train in the valley gardens & lots of other attractions. The first floor bedroom is toward the rear. The kitchen & living areas are on the ground floor. There is free parking on the street.
The bedroom is a tranquil space, with a metal framed bed and memory foam mattress. There is a dressing table/work station and wardrobe space. The ensuite bathroom is newly fitted and quite spacious. The bedroom overlooks the small rear yard, which is my mini garden, and also has space for bikes.
Saltburn is a Victorian town, built about 160 years ago, on the cliff top above the original fishing village. With impressive views up and down the coast, it was originally built as a spa town and has wonderful buildings and gardens from the period. The town has several festivals each year, including food and folk music. Saltburn has a wonderful community theatre and arts association that shows a variety of live music, drama, comedy and film. There are also a wide variety of restaurants and bars to cater for every taste. There is a farmers market on the second Saturday of several months and special markets near Christmas. Saltburn has a surfing community and there are surf shops and surf hire facilities by the sea. The pier stretches out into the sea and many people fish from the pier end. Saltburn sea front has one of the best fish and chip shops in the neighbourhood.

The glorious coastline is ideal for walker and bird watching. 10 minutes drive to North Yorkshire moors 5 minutes from nearest beach Whitby is 20 minutes away by car. So close to almost everything, 5 minutes by car to the nearest beach famous for its sandbanks, 10 minutes to the next one, All have fabulous walks, 20 minutes away from the famous Whitby and all its Dracula connections, Draculas gravestone at the lovely Whitby Abbey the very popular famous and amazing Goth Weekends twice a year , beach, boat trips, lovely pier, beautiful scenery on the drive there choice of moor route or coastal route, 5 minutes away from the beautiful North Yorkshire moors, with all its lovely villages , great eating places, stunning views, fabulous walks and of course, the sheep, closer to ‘home’ we have some really good eating places only a short distance away, very local pubs and takeaways, Skinningrove Chippy definitely recommended. All restaurant/cafes in the property are recommended by myself, if I haven’t been I can’t recommend, but I’m trying to get round most of them, although the building is on the main high street it’s accessed through a door leading to a courtyard which means peaceful and private, local co-op next door equipped for almost every need open 6am -10pm , dog friendly , secure small garden/patio area , small child friendly, I have a travel cot available, but don’t provide bedding for the travel cot! . If you don’t want to drive, there is a bus stop either side of the main road , taxi service numbers in the cottage are also recommended by myself.

We found the extra wash room downstairs perfect for cleaning the beach off the dogs!! Also, handy for visiting family in nearby Redcar. An absolute bargain if you simply want a bed for the night. This single room has a supremely comfortable antique Staples bed (by appointment to His Majesty the King!) We live in a dead end road so there is absolutely no traffic. You can hear a pin drop... or the sea, or the band from the Bandstand on a Sunday afternoon. The gorgeous Saltburn Woods are literally thirty seconds away at the bottom of the street, and we're just a short walk from Saltburn's famous Cliff Lift, Pier and Beach.
The room contains a small set of shelves, a small cupboard with more shelves and a shelf lamp. The shared bathroom is just across the hallway with a shower and bath.
Saltburn-by-the-Sea is unique and we're just a short walk from the main streets with their boutique shops and cafes. The Italian Gardens are five minutes away through the Valley Gardens at the end of our street. Our huge beach is just down the road.

Double room overlooking the back of the house, has own private bathroom with bath and shower attachment, also a sink in the room. Use of guest lounge and balcony with sea views and kitchen with all mod cons..
Having only been in Saltburn a short time I'm still learning about the area. I fell in love with it the first time friends brought me here, a beautiful Victorian seaside with a great beach and lovely area to go off walking inland too. Take a walk along the pier: then you can come back up on the funicular to the shops and restaurants. All this within 5 minutes walking distance of the house.
  • Ruth was incredibly welcoming and helpful, the house is a classic Saltburn Victoria 5 bed and is absolutely gorgeous. The room was huge, comfy and honestly one of the best nights sleep I've ever had, I never wanted to leave. We loved meeting Ralph the dog too, he was super friendly and just wanted fuss. We'll certainly be going back again in the future.

  • An ideal location near the sea front with a good view of the sea from the dining/sitting room window. Extremely pleasant accommodating host who supplies a good breakfast. Lovely homely feel to this place. There's even a balcony with a sea view although the weather stopped us from wanting to use it.

  • Ruth and Ralph the dog were wonderful, friendly hosts. The guest lounge with games was a real bonus, with lovely views of the sea. Will definitely be looking to stay again when I’m next in the area!
