It was a wonderful place close to the beach, iscream cafe and pizzaplace. And Linda and Eddie are one of the best AirBnBs hosts we have met. They did everything for us to feel welcome and home. They showed us around, had time for good talks and also gave us the possibilies to make some great wafles! We will come back!

This was one of my favourite Airbnbs. A simple, charming cottage set in lovely gardens in a beautiful part of Norway. Augusto was a gracious and communicative host who could not have been more helpful. When I asked if he had an ice tray and cafetière I could use, he found both immediately. Høysand is quiet and rural but is near several towns. The scenery around there is stunning. The cottage is simply but tastefully furnished, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds (4 in total) and a hot shower. If you are used to 5* luxury hotels in urban metropolises, this BnB is probably not for you, but for me it was perfect. My only complaint is that the wifi was very poor. So, if you want a tranquil excape in a lovely setting (& a digital detox) Augusto's cottage is ideal. I hope to stay there again.

Augusto is really a perfect host. Warm, welcoming, ready to give any tips and information you might ask for and still respecting when you want to be private as a guest. The house is really nice and has everything we needed for our stay. The garden is amazing. I can easily recommend Augustos place for a stay.

Vi hadde en fantastisk uke på Høysand! Huset ligger virkelig i vakre og utrolig idylliske omgivelser. Hagen er helt unik. Kun en kort spasertur unna ligger en nydelig badestrand. Perfekt tilrettelagt med krabbefiske og lekeområdet for ungene. Behagelig og tillitsvekkende vertskap. Vi fikk trøbbel med bilen underveis i uken, og hvem andre enn Augusto var det som sto tidlig opp for å hjelpe oss med å fikse det! Outstanding! Rolig og trivelig nabolag. Kortreist og lokalprodusert honning fikk vi til og med fra en av de nærmeste naboene. Dette er virkelig et sted og vertskap som vi kan anbefale på det varmeste til andre!

What a wonderful place on a beautiful location. The ques thouse was fully equipped and had everything we needed. Also our hosts were very nice and friendly. We could use the whole beautiful garden. We really recommend this place to everybody. Its close to the harbour and to a nice little beach whers you can swim.

We had a very nice stay at Henning's. The cottage is charming and the garden is gorgeous with a lovely romantic style, full of flowers. Henning made us feel very welcome and gave us some useful and helped us plan our trips. The area is calm and relaxing away from traffic. We would sure love to come back! Patricia & Ole

Fantastic garden surrounding a very nice cottage. Everything worked perfectly and the hosts were so nice and welcoming, even with a bouquet of flowers in the cottage when we arrived. Access to the beautiful garden was gently offered and happily used. You can even see a bit of the sea from the cottage and the garden. I do not know what could be handled better, so many thanks for a perfect stay.

I decided to take some of my guests who visiting me in Oslo, to stay one night at Henning's charming cottage and it was an excellent experience. We loved the place. It is very cozy, with a beautiful garden , great view and privacy and has everything that one needs to enjoy the life in a summer house. Henning is a wonderful host and gave us some good tips to visit nearby's sightseeing. I will visit again and hopefully stay longer next time :-)

We were very well received by Henning! First with detailed guidance to the cabin and when we arrived we got a hjertlig receipt of Henning. The cottage and annex fully lived up to our expectations: Very nice, well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the fine gardens and beautiful views of the harbor. A very peaceful neighborhood and a fine base for exploring the nature - or perhaps take a trip to Oslo. We can only give Henning and instead the best recommendations.

Excellent apartment easily found close to the motorway. A couple of minutes from Sarpsborg city centre by car, or roughly 30min by foot. Mikhail is a pleasant host!

Communication with the host has been good throughout, with quick responses. Very positive to be allowed to bring their dog. Well-equipped apartment with ample space and parking just outside. Central location. Thank you for having us!

Mihail took good against us. The apartment was conveniently located right off the highway, so it was a short walk wherever you wanted. Coming gratifying back at the next opportunity.

Really good communication with the host before and during our stay. The appartment was clean but a little noisy because of the motorway (as expected). It is a good choice if you want to rest during a long trip.

Good communication in advance of the journey we were received by a very friendly host for the handover of keys and misc info re. Apartment. Big and beautiful apartment in a quiet neighborhood. We use gladly Svend`s apartment again on another occasion.

Sven is OK, He prepared for us a map of area with marked food shops. very nice house, comfortable kitchen with dining room and salon. wonderfull terrace with electric grill. two bathrooms and two bedrooms.

Svend welcome us very well. The apartment is large with all you need inside, spacious rooms and bathrooms and with a great terrace. We have spent a nice week.

Jeg kan virkelig anbefale denne leiligheten som ligger i et rolig villastrøk. Den er mye større enn det som fremkommer på bildene. Hadde god kommunikasjon med verten hele veien.

I had absolutely super stay at Edel Marie :) Very nice and accommodating girl, really recommend. When I arrived expecting a hærlig greeting me. It was incredibly nice to be there, it was a short 2-night stay in connection with school collection. I had everything I needed, could use all the facilities in the apartment. Edel is incredibly cozy person, it was totally digg to be there, talking and spending time together. I felt like at home :) Recommend Edel strongly. I will book more nights, it's so worth it :)

Very happy host, who took me in at late at night at very short notice. Cozy apartment and Edel were very welcoming with attention to detail, coffee / tea / shampoo etc were put forward as one has in hotels too. Would gladly come back and can be recommended :)

I stayed at Edel Marie Friday to Sunday. I arrived in the evening at Friday and everything was ready and fine when I arrived. The house was nice and clean and evertyhing was as expected. Edel Marie is very helpful - your perfect host. And the waffels was perfect :)
