  • The loft is cleaned and ample. The balcony has small but beautiful view of the lake. There are a variety of restaurants, bars and outfitters at walking distance. I was allowed to bring my dog which sealed the deal.

  • This was my first AirB&B reservation and I was very pleased. I was nervous because we were going to a wedding and I was worried about timing and transportation. Craig responded to all my questions right away, which helped ease my mind. Place was super cute and clean. Bed was comfy and the heater was on point and nice after a chilly evening. I recommend staying at this place. Thanks so much Craig.

  • The Black Bears Den was an amazing place to stay for our snow weekend away! It was extremely cozy, perfect for two people; it felt like our own mini cabin get-away. Craig provided us with all the necessities plus more. The location was perfect, we were within 5-15 min driving range for all of our actives on West/North shore. We would defiantly come back to the Black Bears Den!

This townhouse has 3 flat screen high def TVs, fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops stainless steel appliances. The back patio and deck look out past the lawn to a view of the beach and lake. The property has been recently remodeled and upgraded including furniture in a rustic pine Tahoe theme.
We love the location. Beach front, very private, walk to shops, restaurants. Public transportation is at the front of the property. We have a pool, 2 tennis courts, private beach, large lawn. We are located next to a public park and beach, one block tho the Tahoe Outlet damn an Fanny Bridge. Ski shuttles stop at the property. This is one of the few properties that once you are there you don't need a car. Uber is available in North Tahoe. Golf course across the street.
  • This place is exactly as it is written. Very clean and beautifully decorated with a spectacular view of Lake Tahoe. You’re right on the beach! We were there for skiing, so unfortunately, we weren’t able to take advantage of the lake as we often arrived back at Bill’s place when the sun was already down. It’s a great location, within walking distance of several stores and restaurants (The Dam Cafe is one of our favorites for breakfast). We felt safe, warm and cozy in Bill’s place. I’m bookmarking it as one I’d like to return to in the summer!

  • This was a great place with a fabulous view.

    Ross2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of the most beautiful spaces I've ever stayed in. Our family loved everything about it. The space is pristine and so close to the lake. Warm and comfortable and very, very clean. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We hope to come back.

    Patricia2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Bill’s place is great. Not only does it have amazing lake views from its living room and master suite, but you can walk a short distance (maybe thirty feed) to the lake from your back door. You can also walk to the downtown restaurants, bars, and the supermarket. I highly recommend this home.

    Brandon2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • The place is spacious and cozy. Amazing kitchen. 10 min drive to Squaw Valley. Perfect for a ski trip.

    Yan2019-12-01T00:00:00Z

    David2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • This was our 2nd time staying at Bill’s place. The view is absolutely amazing and it really was the perfect escape before the holidays. We hope to return again soon! Highly recommend!

  • Great cozy spot, close to the lake and stores. Really enjoyed spending the weekend at this place with my three friends. Addie was a great host and highly recommend booking your stay with her.

    Alexis2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Addie's place and hospitality were top notch. She and her family supported us during a big storm that swept through Tahoe. We got snowed in and her teenagers came over and shoveled out our car. The house kept us warm and cozy after a long day of playing in the powder. We were just down the street at Homewood. So the location was great. Before we arrived we communicated about the best places to snowboard when its windy and we followed her recommendation, which made a positive difference. The weather was tough and she made the stress melt away by offering the place the third day at a discounted rate.

    David2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience. Addie was very communicative and allowed us to stay well passed the check-out time to accommodate our group. Thank you!

    Jacob2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is absolutely perfect. Cozy and comfy. Addie is very attentive and will respond quickly. Only thing, if you have frequent bathroom needs, bath is downstairs to bedrooms.

    Karen2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Greate place for a small family get away. The cabin is tiny but cozy and comfortable.

    Quan2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location! Super cute cozy cabin. Perfect for a small family or couples retreat.

    Dillon2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect cabin. Perfect host

    Scott2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great location for what we were looking for, which was quiet in the woods, but near the lake and ski resort. Quaint and perfect for my friend and I. We also were able to cook most meals at the cabin allowing us to relax more there.

    Tahoe City
  • Lovely, stylish cabin space with modern amenities. Ample cookware for a full cooking kitchen (though bring the essential ingredients you need). Comfortably fit our group, and even the bunk beds were comfy. The hot tub was working and ready when we arrived and we enjoyed it. Keep in mind there is no garage here so if it snows you may have to clean your car! Only improvements we would suggest are more bright lighting inside the house (it's quite dark at night) + finishing the wooden tables (as they are easy to stain).

    Ashley2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and location! Very stylish.

    Tahirih2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful house and a great homebase for a trip to Tahoe. The location is fantastic and the space was even better than expected. The layout’s great, it’s well equipped and we had a super easy check in. Enjoyed every minute of our trip. and thankful we were able to stay here. We’ll return again!

    Stephen2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place was outstanding. We were nervous booking with a company (first time!) but they made the process seamless from start to finish. The team was communicative and friendly. The cabin itself was beautiful, with stellar amenities - the kitchen was more complete than my own at home!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and plan to come back to this location again.

    Lana2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is amazing, this was our second stay - and we will be back for sure.

    Ben2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable and quiet cabin with great character and decorative touches. Ideal if you want a log cabin feel with modern amenities and close to amenities. Good location - the Tahoe Rim Trail crosses the street a couple of miles up the hill and it's a short walk down to the edge of the lake. There's a small grocery and delicatessen nearby for last minute items with a good selection. Bedding and linens all good quality. Two self contained bedrooms down stairs (one with 4 decent sized bunks) and a loft style bedroom upstairs that looks over the living area. Good supply of kitchen and tableware. Efficient Nest heating thermostat controls. Clearly well cared for.

    Ken2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is amazingly perfect and high end in every way. Better than the pics. Mgmt company was very personal and on it too. A+++++

Looking for a cabin with character? Welcome to Pine Cone! Ours is an awesome A-frame with a wood-burning fireplace, and original retro décor – cozy and funky, with all the modern comforts of home. Close to HOA beach, Firesign, and Sunnyside resort.
In the heart of Sunnyside, Pine Cone is a short walk to our private HOA beach and the best brunch at the lake. Leave your city-slicker granite counter tops at home – we have what’s important: our Saturday Supper dessert cabinet contains an ice cream maker, sundae bar, fondue, and of course s’mores. (And s’meeces, the Pine Cone S’mores 3.0) Plus of course everything else you need to make yourself at home: fully equipped kitchen, laundry, etc. etc. The basics & bonuses: 3 bedrooms sleep 15 people. Dogs welcome! Wifi, printer, and standard office supplies included for you workerbees. Shampoo, toothpaste, hair dryer, iron and basics provided (though ironing board and such fancy big-city accoutrements are not – this is Tahoe!). Deck, BBQ, beach towels, board games, DVD player, dozens of DVDs, puzzles, cookbook collection for your Saturday supper planning, beach books, and more. The beach: we'll give you a key to the private homeowners association beach, featuring volleyball, basketball, bocce ball, and horseshoe courts; green grass and shady benches; clean bathrooms (very important); weddings to crash all weekend long; and Tahoe’s finest skipping stones. (Forget how to skip rocks? You ARE in need of a getaway!) The neighborhood: Sunnyside is hot for good reason! A few blocks from the docks, we’re the one spot on this side of the lake that’s walking distance from not one but two rockin’ brunch places. While removed from the mean streets (ha!) of Tahoe City, when you forget something at the grocery store we’re only 6 minutes down the road. South Lake has curling and all (message Colleen if you want to try), but it's Vegas compared to this: North Tahoe is casino-free pockets of quiet cabins from another era, with more dogs and kids littering the middle of the street than cars. Oh, and it’s an easy 3.5hrs from SF, assuming you miss traffic and drive like we do. If you drive an electric vehicle, you can plug in at our cabin too. Let us know and we'll give you the details. The activities: you really plan more than brunch, beach & wine? Ambitious. Okay, fine: we’ve got the hook-up for that too. We’ll tell you where to rent a boat, find the good hikes, and hop the local watering holes. Look us up on the map and you’ll see: we’re close to biking, river rafting, sledding, skiing, and snowboarding (Squaw, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Homewood et al.), the Tahoe Rim Trail, and all that outdoorsy goodness. Plus when you get here, you’ll find our binder of local tips that could only be amassed by a family that’s been here 28 years. Please note a 1-week minimum is required for Christmas and New Year's. If you'd like to visit, please ensure you have a profile with picture and tell us a bit about the group that's coming and what you're hoping for in your stay.
  • Cabin was so great! Full of amenities, great beds, and beautiful views, the host responded quickly to all queries. We would love to come back!

    Rachel2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place to stay in. Within walking distance to the Lake and the Free Shuttle service that takes you to Squaw Valley Resort. A 5 minute drive to the Grocery store and restaurants in Tahoe City. The place has central heating and a fireplace, really fast WiFi, fully loaded kitchen with spices and condiments, plates, cups, knifes, pots, etc... there were 9 people in my party and none of us ever felt like we were invading anyone else’s personal space because this place is so big. The bathrooms also had more than enough Soap, shampoo, conditioner and bath towels. The list of all the great features of this place just goes on and on, you’d have to stay here so you can witness this wonderful experience for yourself. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this place!

    Giovanni2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Janet’s place is the perfect place to stay! We were 15 people and we had so much room. Her home is super clean, cozy, and everything is labeled. Also beautiful quiet neighborhood. My family and I were so impressed with how much there is to do around this neighborhood. We will definitely be back!

    Wendy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time and would definitely go there again

    Sieglinde2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • What a great cabin this is! My family of six had a perfect weekend in Tahoe. Everything we wanted to be close to was within 10 min or less. The open layout of the downstairs area made it easy to visit, cook, and enjoy the wood fireplace. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We can’t wait to go back to Tahoe City and stay at Janet’s place!

  • You can't do better than the pine cone!

    Bohdan2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was absolutely awesome, cozy, and just what we were looking for. We came up for a two day ski trip to Homewood and Squaw Valley and this was the PERFECT spot between the two. Everything was easy, Janet is a great host who gives good instructions, and we’d absolutely stay again. Thank you!

    Michael2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • This place turned out to be better than expected. It’s super convenient, in a quiet neighborhood. The layout is awesome, its very comfortable and everything is pretty well stocked. Janet was very thorough in all the descriptions and the rental process and left nothing to surprise. The value is outstanding. We have been to (far) more expensive places and now it’s hard to see the point of paying more. This place is a gem. Book it now.

  • Kana’s place is a time share in a very nice resort in squaw valley, just a short walk (and even shorter free shuttle ride) from the lifts. The units are very comfortable and come with everything you need. The resort’s amenities such as pool and hot tubs are excellent. Kana is very prompt in her communications and very accommodating. She set every up for minimum hassle for her guests. I highly recommend her place for skiers at squaw valley.

  • Great location! Kana was very communicative. The people here were very hospitable. All went smoothly. Short walk to bottom of lifts. We snowboarded almost every day. Good price. Nice rec room. Nice Jacuzzis. We used the free snow shoes they lent out on Wednesdays and we went on a cool snow shoe adventure that the guy at the desk told us about. My husband went on a cool hike just behind the inn. We loved it!

  • Nice place! It was renovated nicely and was great for the price!

    Micah2020-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived at almost dusk and luckily had 4wd considering it was snowy and icy road conditions. the driveway has a moderate incline but not crazy. the lock box opened with ease, and, well, they left the lights and heat on for us. this let us know that we were likely in good hands, well we were. as soon as we entered we noticed nice comfy throws placed about the couches and seating. secondly we found the fire log rack was stocked and the fireplace clean. Of course priority was to conjure a nice fire. Did I mention, the host (s) replied to our messages within about 15 minutes no matter what the time of day or night? Well Rose did just that. kudos The entire place was clean, no odors, no smeared surfaces or mirrors like that of persons whom were in a rush to finish cleaning. we greatly appreciate the cleanliness. The kitchen sparkles with newness and there are seasonings, dish towels soap paper towels the full gammit. nothing is remotely gross. we found several lighting dimmers throughout. the towels are good and as well clean. the beds smelled clean and were comfy. pillows were nice as well. plenty of hot water and nice bath products in the handy dispensers. the hot tub is nice and you can adjust as desired. The cable internet is perfect which we appreciated as we worked the entire time we were there and the TV channel selection (cable TV) is pretty awesome should one desire to wrap up in one or more of those clean comfy throws and get lost in a movie while the fireplace glows from across the coffee table. It snows in this area therefore during the snowy season be prepared to experience what it is like to live in the snow meaning cool ice sickles beaming down from the eaves and well, of course snow built up on and around the house and a cute little snowy walk way to the heavenly front door. The hosts "knocked it out of the park" in our experienced humble opinions. we look forward to again renting this exact home in the near future.

  • Spectacular location, great view of lake from the top of the street, easy to find, close to the area where we conducted resupply, streets and driveway were plowed, bear box was secure, and hot tub was HOT.

  • This cabin is in a great location for trips to Squaw Valley or Tahoe City. The hub tub was easy to use and exactly what we wanted after a day of skiing. Check in and check out was simple. The bedroom setup was perfect for couples.

  • Great location. Cool house!!

    Nicholas2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Brenda’s place is great! Fantastic location close to the lake, and nice and cozy inside. Our favorite part was the hot tub on the back deck and the bed, which was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The fact that the house has two bathrooms was also very convenient, especially when getting ready in the morning.

    Melisande2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I decided to go up to Lake Tahoe to ski and stay overnight during this three day weekend. It was the right choice; our stay over at Brenda’s was lovely. Her place was cozy, simple, and clean.

    Soomin2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is cozy and conveniently located to all the great destinations surrounding the lake, from restaurants to alpine hikes. If you’re staying during the wintertime, be prepared to take full advantage of the space heaters provided, as the place doesn’t have the greatest insulation. This was definitely minor, but something to consider if you’re accustomed to Bay Area temps like me. :) All in all, a great cabin! Can’t wait to visit again soon.

    Scotty2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

    Fred2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place is very close to Squaw Valley and we had a good ski trip there. I like the kitchen the most, and had a good dinner and breakfast there. One possible drawback, however, is the heating system in the room. The apartment is heated using two radiators and an additional electrical radiator. The radiator seems to heat slowly, and I woke up in the middle of the night due to the insufficient heating from the radiator. Apart from that, things in the apartment would be great for a ski trip!

    Weixuan2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place is ideal for the perfect week(end) getaway! It’s tucked away, surrounded by trees, and pretty quiet for the most part (other than events going on). We liked the low-maintenance experience and were able to enjoy our time at the home as well as exploring other cities within reasonable distance. I would definitely return!

    Kellie Rae2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • The condo was nice, had everything we needed. The smart TV was great, allowing us to watch anything we had a login for.

    Bart2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is well located, well equipped, and stylish. The Murphy bed is a thoughtful touch, and gives the unit a lot more space. The kitchen and bathroom are well appointed and functional. Communication was quick and professional. Highly recommended!

    Marty2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time staying here. The accommodation and facilities were great and self check-in made it really easy and flexible. The place was nicely set up to create a relaxing and comfortable home from home. The living space was comfy and cosy with a nice big sofa to stretch out on. The kitchen was really well equipped to with good oven, dishwasher etc. The walls between apartments are quite thin but this didn’t really effect us. The grounds that the accommodation is in is great with a hot tub and pool to relax in after a day of adventuring. It feels like your in a nice little holiday bubble just outside the main hub of the town, really easy to get to within a short drive.

  • We had an awesome stay. Great location, easy walk to restaurants, shops, the beach, playground and river. Cozy space, perfect for our small family of 4. Our toddler had a blast running around the grass field behind us. Newer bathroom and comfy bed. We didn’t do any cooking, but you could easily whip something up in the small, but well stocked kitchen. Thanks again for the stay!

Conservancy land on three sides offers great privacy for you to experience the cedar-scented air, starry skies and lake views from this mid-century modern home in the heart of Tahoe's magical West Shore.
On the main floor, in the living room, enjoy a crackling fire from the window seats with forest and lake views. The kitchen is fully equipped with an easy-to-clean range, microwave, everything you need to make memorable meals served on a complete set of beautiful dishes. On the main floor you also will find a powder room, a dining table that easily seats eight, a 42" smart TV--no cable, but you can watch movies and TV shows on Youtube or from your Amazon Prime, Netflix or Hulu account-- a Chickering piano, and floor-to-ceiling cathedral windows overlooking forest and lake. The house has three levels accessed by stairs--the main living area with kitchen, dining room and living room, the upper loft level and the lower level with four bedrooms. You'll have five bedrooms all together, one of which is a large loft above the living area with a gorgeous view of the lake. Please use caution with young children in the loft, where you will find a full bath and a single day bed separated by a closet area from a queen-size (new Beauty-Sleep hotel quality mattress in 2015) bed. My favorite comment from a previous guest about waking up in the loft, "The view is unreal!" On the downstairs level is a full-sized bathroom, a laundry room and four bedrooms. One downstairs bedroom has a two twins with 10" thick mattresses new in the summer of 2016. The second bedroom has a double-bed and with a sliding glass door onto a peek-of-the-lake-view deck. The third bedroom also has a double bed (new mattress in 2016), and a door to the deck. The fourth and largest bedroom downstairs has a queen-sized bed (new in 2015, Beauty-Sleep hotel-quality mattress) and views of the lake. All beds are made up with a variety of down and non-down pillows, cotton and fleece blankets and down-filled or silk-filled comforters. The house is located 2.5 miles south of charming Tahoe City and five miles north of Homewood ski area. Other ski resorts, including Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are an easy drive. Two miles away is family-friendly Granlibakken which not only has skiing, but also sledding and a ropes course. The house comes with passes to the private, gated Tahoe Park beach which offers three acres of amenities including piers, playground equipment, lakeside picnic tables with BBQs and 750 feet of homeowner's-access-only beachfront. You can walk to the beach from the house, or drive in five minutes. One mile up the street, you'll find the trailhead to Paige Meadows. Here, depending on the season, world-class hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing lie at your feet. A paved bike path right down the street leads to Tahoe City--for a leisurely bike ride through the pines. Back at the house, enjoy a BBQ on the deck. Sunnyside restaurant, Firesign cafe, Tahoe Bakery, Sunnyside Market and a paddle-board and bike rental shop are part of the neighborhood charm. The central location of the house makes it easy to enjoy everything Tahoe has to offer, without an electrical wire or more than one neighbor to spoil the view! The code to the high-speed internet is found as soon as you walk in the door. We speak French, mais pas tres bien, and pretty good Russian. We'll be in contact as much or as little as you like--just an email away. $500 security deposit. Two-night minimum. $100 pet fee, per stay. $355 cleaning fee per stay. Our housekeepers are legally paid and therefore they receive all the benefits of regular employment. You can enjoy a spotless house knowing that no one was taken advantage of to get it that way. The house is set up with linens on all the beds, ample towels, soap and toilet paper in the bathrooms, and towels, dishwasher soap, trash bags and paper towels in the kitchen.
The house is two and half miles from Tahoe City, less than a mile to the beach and restaurants, 15 miles to Squaw Valley, five miles to Homewood, two miles to Granlibakken and one mile to the Paige Meadows trailhead--you won't spend a lot of time just getting places--you're already there! We enjoy Sunnyside Restaurant's casual dining right on the water--go during a full moon and watch the moonrise over the lake-- and Firesign cafe for their famous breakfasts. You can walk to either place, or get there in just a couple minutes by car. Near the restaurants you'll also find a bike and paddle-board rental shop. Tahoe Bakery is popular for sandwiches and pastries, and Full Moon Natural foods has all your natural food needs. Savemart is a very well stocked grocery store, it's right as you get into Tahoe City, about two miles from the house. Further into Tahoe City is a Safeway and lots of other shops.
  • This place is so cool! We were caught in a winter storm and felt as if we were in a snowglobe with these amazing windows! The place is perfect for a Tahoe getaway—super clean, convenient, and well-designed. I'm definitely coming back!

  • It's a beautiful home with stunning views and a gorgeous layout. The living room, kitchen, and dining room are all wonderfully communal and great for big groups to hang out in. The kitchen is well equipped to host a great big dinner (we had two over the course of our trip). And the fireplace is excellent. I would just note that the weak internet wifi could pose a challenge, should you need to check in on work emails during the trip.

    John2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Dina’s place is just as it looks in the photos — stunning and cozy! You can see the lake from her home and it’s 5 minutes away from town. More than anything I was blown away by her hospitality and how much she cares about her hosts. Dina is the definition of a superhost!

  • Beautiful, comfortable home in a great location. Awesome value for Tahoe and a short drive to Alpine Meadows!

    Natalie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This home was a wonderful place to stay! The kitchen is fully stocked with dining ware, pots, pans, etc! My friends and I had a lovely time staying here - the beach was a very short walk away and we got to experience the most beautiful sunset and we got to look at the starry sky. The only thing you should know is that pulling out of the house is a bit tricky as it's on a busy road, but we didn't really have any troubles there! I would definitely love to come back again!

    Wendy2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place is really conveniently located, and great for a ski trip, as it's very near Squaw and Homewood. It was clean, had great sleeping spaces, and was very comfortable for the 6 of us. The kitchen/dining/living room spaces were all great, and very roomy. There was a binder with a lot of local recommendations, which were useful. Two things of note: the wifi didn't work, and when we messaged the hosts, they responded quickly, but were unable to help us fix it. Additionally, they requested a copy of my ID sent directly to them upon booking even though I'm already verified by Airbnb (and they sent a message saying "You agreed to send your ID" which I had not - this wasn't mentioned anywhere on the listing).

    Risha2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Ben and Kathleen's place very much. It is a beautiful home and a was a great location for us. There were six adults and we had ample room and everything we needed was there. We hope to return again in the summertime to enjoy Lake Tahoe.

very secluded home with lake view. endless hiking/biking trails in summer and cross country ski/snow mobile in winter right out the door. Too many ski resorts within minutes to mention. We have one very friendly dog. Use of w/d and kitchen.
  • We loved staying at Marty’s beautiful house. Marty and her family were really helpful, welcoming and accommodating. The house was so cosy with amazing views and close to good restaurants. A highly recommended host in Tahoe!

    Priya2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very good stay at Marty's, the chalet surrounded by nature is superb and the alarm clock in the room with view on the lake is priceless. The welcome from the owners is very warm, it feels like home. We would definitely recommend!

    Mathieu2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Super comfortable bed with phenomenal lake views. We had a quick turn around time so we didn’t get to visit with Marty or Julian much but they were kind and helpful hosts!!

    Meg2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place and location was beautiful! High ceilings and the private him and hers bathroom was amazing. Perfect, secluded area with lots of things to do! The host and her husband lived in the home but I never saw them. Only when I checked in and checked out. LOVE HER DOGS!! wish i could've took those guys home! <3 All in all, a fantastic place. I would definitely stay there again.

  • It is everything you will need and more. It was very clean, and Marty was an amazing host. You will not regret being here. Everything was easily available and there was a lot of thought put in small details around the house which made the overall stay memorable. Thank you Marty. We are going to see you soon. Lots of love

    Mahika2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • The place is comfortable and clean! The patio is the best spot to watch sunrise and sunset. You don’t even have to go out to the patio. You can watch inside the bedroom. The kettle in the room, wine opener, reading materials, dvds, and directTV are a plus. The bed and linen are very comfortable. The restroom is super clean and it has extra additional amenities. The water pressure is very good and the hot water heats up fast. The kitchen is fully stocked and it has industrial grade equipments. We were also able to wash and dry our snow clothes without a problem. Marty and her family were genuinely nice people, accommodating, and they respected our privacy. They are very generous in opening their home to Airbnb.

  • Really cute and cozy stay at Tricias cabin. Nothing fancy, but was super clean and comfortable. It was a quick 10 min walk to the lake and all of the restaurants. Just a 15 min drive to squaw valley mountain. Bed was comfy. Had shower products and plenty of towels. Didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen seemed fully equipped to do so. This place was perfect and got the job done, would stay here again.

This sweet bunk is in a shared room in the historic Redlight hostel- located across the train tracks from the bus and train station in downtown Truckee- walking distance to bars, restaurants, and the river. Only a short distance to popular hiking, biking, skiing, and climbing destinations. The Redlight is a casual and social, high quality hostel. Meet other adventurers in the shared dining space and lounge. Enjoy craft ice cream, beer, or wine in our bar or relax in the sauna.
The Redlight is cross between a hotel and hostel. Lodging, saloon, or brothel, the building was first built in the 1880's, burnt down in the early 1920's and was rebuilt in the late 1920's. We completely renovated it in 2016 to give it new life. We draw guests from all over the world and cultivate an eclectic, social atmosphere that feels like home. This is a unique experience in social lodging. You will have a bunk in a shared room with a shared bath, and access to all of our communal amenities. The bunk is a cozy and quality XL twin, and includes a reading light, outlet, large locker, hooks, and privacy curtains. The room has a white noise maker for sensitive sleepers.
The Redlight is in the middle of historic downtown Truckee - one block from the river. The block includes restaurants, a coffee shop, businesses, and residences.
  • Great experience - I was able to get some work done and a good night's sleep before a snowboard clinic at Squaw the next day. Friendly host and fellow guests. More amenities than I had time to enjoy in one evening.

    Elizabeth2020-03-12T00:00:00Z

    Carlos2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! The hosts are all super friendly and the location is very convenient. No issues with overnight parking and plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance. The train can be a little loud at night but it doesn't go by very often.

  • This was the first time I’ve ever stayed at a hostel. My mind was blown. The people were awesome and the atmosphere was super fun. I’ll absolutely go back. Another guest said they’ve stayed at many hostels while traveling and this was by far the nicest. First class: location, staff, and facility. The sauna was a great way to wrap up my day in the mountain 🏂.

    Justin2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great (and unique!) place to stay for a couple nights while skiing solo, so long as you're comfortable with the hostel arrangement. It's also quite easy to meet ski buddies while you're there.

Get comfortable in a renovated pet friendly Tahoe cabin with a view of the lake and a private home owners beach. Hiking or mountain biking through Paige Meadows, and in Winter you are 10 minutes from Homewood, 20 minutes from Squaw or Alpine Meadows.
This is an upgraded A-frame, just 2 miles south of Tahoe City. You'll be very comfortable within the context of a traditional Tahoe cabin. There are 3 bedrooms: 1 downstairs (full bed), and 2 upstairs (one King, one Queen). The front deck has a picnic table with chairs and a gas BBQ. The master bedroom has a small deck with exceptional views of the lake. For hiking or mountain biking, you can start from the house and explore Paige Meadows. Or, you can park at the Home Owners beach and take the bike path South to Tahoma, or North to Tahoe City and continue on to Squaw Valley beside the Truckee River. There is a second house on the property that can also be rented from Airbnb (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/3013154). The difference between the two houses are minor, yet important: 1. While the layout of both houses is identical, this house is about 332 square feet larger. 2. This house has even more unobstructed views of Lake Tahoe. 3. This house has a small "coffee deck" off the master bedroom upstairs.
The house is in a neighborhood which is 500 feet above Lake Tahoe, which not only offers panoramic views of Lake Tahoe but is also quiet and safely removed from the day to day tourist traffic as it is near the end of a dead end road. The house sits back from the road on a very large lot with 4 standalone houses.
  • This was our second visit to this awesome cabin. We have a toddler and there was plenty of space for her to explore. The kitchen is fully stocked, the house is very clean, and check in/out is as simple as can be. Thanks again, Mark. We will be back!!!

  • Beautiful view of the lake, well stocked kitchen, great for couples. It was a quiet area with 3 other houses nearby. Our dogs loved it and met other dogs in the neighborhood. Beds are a little firm. Loved the open floor plan to cook and hang out.

  • This house is amazing! We loved waking up next to the beautiful trees. The location is perfect close to about everything you need. My dogs really enjoyed the fenced yard. It was great being in the jacuzzi, while letting the dogs play in the backyard. Book this house you will love it. I’m already planning another trip :)

  • Great location and nice house for a family stay. Three large comfortable bedrooms with great and very clean bedding/amenities. The house has a few quirks which take a bit of getting used to (mainly managing the tricky bear fencing around the property every time you want to go out or in). However I loved that Laure provided a manual for the house with all the important things to know - some suggestions would be to make it clearer around the electric fence switches and also that you need the card hanging by the front door to access the private HOA beach (this info was only discovered when we got down there, and it’s only mentioned in the very last check out details page). The kitchen is well stocked with hardware but take your own essentials like olive oil, coffee, coffee filters. Overall lovely garden, house, balconies and a great place to use as a base/chill at the property. Thanks again!

  • Home is at a wonderful location. Stayed for the weekend to do a Spartan Race in Swae Valley. Home is located about 15mins away. Local stores aren’t too far away. Home was very clean and the amenities you need for a weekend get away!

  • This house was perfect for our family. Walking distance to the lake made it easy to walk while our 3 year old enjoyed a wagon ride. Minutes to downtown Tahoe City where we walked on the bike trail along the Truckee river and got a drink at Jakes. We were able to find the pretty remote walk at Page Meadows, while taking in the spectacular views of lake on the drive there. It was nice to come back to a house that felt like home. The bedrooms are spaced apart so we all had our private areas to go to at night. The kitchen had WAY more appliances than we thought, which made cooking very easy! We loved this place and plan to come back again next year!!

    Sarah2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Laure is such an excellent host. She was incredibly responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. The Airbnb is gorgeous and in an awesome and convenient location. Would love to stay here again!

  • Ron’s house was just what we needed. It’s very comfortable and he’s clearly put a lot of thought into what makes an at home like stay. There were fresh flowers, cooking basics, lots of games and books for the kids and the decor is perfect for Tahoe. We hope to come back!

  • Perfection!! A homey, spacious and adaptable cabin that all five of us from age 14 to 73 love! Amazing kitchen, very cozy, comfortable beds and clean as a whistle. Lovely flowers to welcome us and a park right out back for kids. Location excellent. We’ve rented before, and we will rent next time again - thanks!

    Frances2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Ron's place was extremely awesome. We really enjoyed all the amenities and the beautiful craftsmanship of the home. Also, it was very conveniently located, would love to come back if we are ever in Tahoe again. Thanks Ron for our awesome stay!

    Yvette2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Ron was a very helpful and easy to get into contact with host! His place was very nice and fit everyone comfortably. We had all the materials we needed to make meals and overall really enjoyed our stay! We had a lot of fun playing with the snow in playground that was located behind the Airbnb. It was a great location in regards to ski resorts in Tahoe. I would definitely recommend his place!

    Katherine2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Exceeded our expectations! This place is AMAZING. Such a beautiful home and a great host! We had some car trouble before arriving, got there late and Ron was kind enough to welcome us in personally. This was our first family trip to the snow and it was the best experience ever. Our kids loved it! Totally recommend staying here. You won't regret it!

  • Our weekend was so amazing, the cabin was clean and cozy with everything we needed for a great trip. I traveled with my dog who enjoyed the numerous accessible walks - the location is perfect. A five minute or so stroll to Paige meadows , a half hour trek to the private access beach, all without having to drive anywhere. The hosts were extremely communicative and flexible. We will definitely be returning.

  • The place is nice and clean. The host is very quick to response to any questions. :)

    Tenzin2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • The room was clean and well cared for. No noticeable odors and quiet. The bed although small for two adults had soft sheets. There were plenty of pillows and towels for our use. Directions were clear and sent to me on time. Other amenities include a fridge and microwave we used and coffee maker available we did not use. Bathroom clean and water flow adequate. It was cheaper than the hotel rate but did not include the breakfast, which would be convenient for others while for us was a good “discount” since we would rather go out to breakfast anyway. Owner was responsive.

    Annie2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect for our family. It was in the perfect location. The hot tub was icing on the cake after a long day on the slopes. The cabin had a very homely feeling. It had everything you needed to feel right at home. The stairs are kind of narrow and steep so have to be careful. I would definitely stay here again.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at John’s 3 Bears cabin. This cabin is quaint and well appointed. Bathroom was clean, kitchen had what we needed and the living room was cozy. Mudroom was perfect for drying all of our wet shoes and gear. Hot tub was clean and good temp. We enjoyed watching Holiday movies next to the fireplace after a day on the mountain. It was a perfect Pre-Christmas getaway.

  • John's cabin is adorable & very comfy! There's so much natural light and our family loved all the games. We enjoyed the location, and the hot tub. It is a tight space, so is perfect for a small family or two couples. I would recommend this cabin and are happy we picked it!

  • This was a really cool cabin to stay in. Very close to Northstar if you are going in the winter. It's also close to stateline so you can gamble if you want. We went over to the Grand Lodge Casino in Incline Village and its a quick easy drive. They have a very nice hot tub and we both really liked this cabin. It was clean and has a cool little heater stove thing. Be aware that if you are a larger individual you may have difficulty climbing the stairs to the bed as it is narrow and tight up there. This will be at the top of our list for future trips to Northstar if we don't go with a big group. This place is highly recommended for a couple.

    Derrick2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • There is a hot tub, the property is conveniently located. The ceiling for the bed is a little bit low, we’re short so it worked out well.

  • Great little place my friends, my dog and I stayed in! Really close by everything, has a great backyard with a hot tub! Very pleased! Only thing was the pull out couch was nothing but springs, so not very comfortable.

  • My husband, our two dogs and I had the most amazing time staying at this cute and cozy cabin! It was perfect for the 4 of us! Thanks for such an amazing stay! :)

  • The cabin was wonderful. Exactly as expected. Loved hanging by the fire and cooking meals in the big kitchen. Also a wonderful location, short walk to the lake and close to the mountains and town. Highly recommend this cabin for a cozy stay!

  • The Cabin: Located in a wonderful neighborhood full of charming and beautiful homes. The driveway is super easy to get in and out of even with a lot of snow fall. Upon entering the cabin there is a mud room which is SO convenient especially when it’s snowing outside! There’s heated floors throughout the house which is so nice and cozy. The kitchen is great for cooking with high end appliances and large counter space for prepping. The bedrooms are upstairs which is a great separation of space. The Location: A 5 min walk to the lake! And 5 min walk to restaurants! It was so convenient. It was about a 7 min drive to Safeway for groceries :). There’s also a great trail near by about 10 min drive. The host: Paul is super responsive! We happened to stay during the time that covid-19 was starting to pickup. He was so kind to allow us a refund when we needed to return home early. Overall I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this cabin!

  • Paul was very responsive. His place is at a great location with all of the necessary amenities. We walked to the private beach and it had an awesome view of the lake. You have to eat at Firesign and have drinks at Sunnyside. It's a short drive to Tahoe City and Squaw also.

  • Paul’s place was perfect for our weekend skiing Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, especially Alpine as you can drive to Sherwood lift and avoid the crowded parking lot. The place was incredibly cute and worked great for two couples. We made breakfast and a couple dinners in the kitchen which has all of the amenities and then enjoyed watching tv and playing games next to the fireplace. Communication with Paul was very easy and straightforward.
