Places to stay in Texline
Stay for a night or more at our cozy home. Two twin beds, a queen bed, and character! Accommodations for horses ($25/horse) with our barn just steps away. Feel comfortable knowing your horses are right outside your door. Arena available for use. Dogs and cats welcome too!
Our house gives a real western feel with custom built features throughout. The house has an old-fashioned character about it. This isn't the Ritz, but rather your own private getaway. Gaze at the stars, go for a walk, and let your dog run around in the open space.
We are about 1.5 miles from Main Street which has a grocery store, restaurants, Subway, Pizza Hut, etc. Capulin Volcano is an hour drive; Clayton Lake is a 15 minute drive which boasts famous dinosaur tracks.
  • It's a great spot! Super quiet, and every detail has been thought of! I stopped over for a night with a horse and the barn was great - safe, spacious, just perfect!

  • Ron’s place was so charming a great get away! It has such a cozy feel and beds are very very comfortable! Great space for children and pets! They also had wonderful cookies for a great touch! Would 100% recommend

  • Great cabin with tons of space for the dog to run! We enjoyed the wood fireplace and rustic cabin experience on our road trip to Colorado! Would highly recommended Ron’s place!

  • Ron's place was perfect! Exactly what we expected, and very cozy.

  • If you are passing through Clayton this is THE place to stop for an unplugged escape from the grind. We loved our evening at Ron’s place. The bed was comfy and the cozy vibe was just what we were looking for. The space for our pups to run and play was perfect after a long day in the car. All around a great find!

This apartment is in a fully renovated building that was built as a hotel for the railroad in 1913. The kitchen has cooking utensils and there is a grocery store in Clayton, NM, which is ten miles away. Entry is through the middle door at the front of the building. Please message Angela for the door codes.
Texline is close to the borders of three states: Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. The town is surrounded by the Rita Blanca National Grasslands and the second highest point in Texas is just north of Texline, as is the Santa Fe Trail, for which there is an interpretive center. The interpretive center is accessed from Hwy 56/412. The Texline city offices have an incredible collection of points and other artifacts which were found along the Rita Blanca in the sixties and subsequently donated to the city’s museum.
  • Gorgeous, fun, stylish space with cozy living room! Angela was very prompt with responses, and I’d definitely stay again!

  • Awesome place! Will definitely stay again when coming through here. Angela was a great host she even set up a cot for us when we told her it wasn’t necessary. She was very fast at responding.

  • Angela was able to quickly give us the code to another available room in the same building when the keypad to #2 malfunctioned and wouldn't open. We can't comment on the #2 unit that we reserved, but #3 is a beautifully renovated space with two very comfortable beds, very much like a nicely appointed hotel room. The USB charging outlets were a nice surprise in a building that is over 100 years old. A great place to get a good night's rest on our trip. Thanks for the hospitality.

    Quinn2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Angela's renovated apartment was wonderful! Very clean, modern, and a huge surprise in a VERY small town of hard-working, but very friendly folks! We felt very welcome and comfortable in the apartment. Location was ideal for us (1-mile from NM border) as we awaited approval to leave the state with our newly adopted child. We got the approval well ahead of what we thought so we ended up leaving early to get home. Angela was very responsive and met us during our stay to say hello and to ensure we had everything we needed. I was skeptical about having a restaurant below the apartment, but (only 3x in town if memory serves me correct) it was actually quiet - apart from the heavy front door of the restaurant that slammed when folks came and left - and the Mexican food was local and EXCELLENT! We ate there every day. Angela's apartment was perfect and we would certainly hope to find it available again next time we pass that way!

  • I’ve driven through Texline many times, but never stopped. The Stateline AIRbnb is a reason to do so. The stylish room was quiet and well described in the listing. I enjoyed watching a Netflix show. There was a kitchen corner with microwave, to go cups, small refrigerator, etc. There also were oatmeal cups and coffee for a quick breakfast. One unexpected pleasure was the cafe (Texline Cafe?) downstairs. Several diners were there on Friday night. Unfortunately I had stopped for takeout earlier. When I had a mechanical problem the next morning, one of the owners/managers fixed my problem. My overnight stay was a good stop on my trip from northern Colorado to west Texas.

  • This space was in a perfect stopover town traveling across the country. Although a very small town, it was exactly where we needed to stop. The room seemed to be freshly remodeled with really great taste and nice touches. The beds and bedding were so very comfy that we didn't want to get out of them! Angela did an excellent job of remodeling this small hotel. I would definitely stay again!

Cute 3 bedroom (4 beds) 1 bath home in a nice neighborhood. Recently remodeled kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked for all you cooking needs. There are two TV’s in the house, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom.
Cuddle up in front of the electric Fireplace with soft throws and hot chocolate or go outside and cook a wonderful meal on our new propane grill. If you are feeling adventurous you can light a fire in the rock fire pit or better yet make s’mores! Let us host you in our comfortable little house. It is tastefully decorated and ready for your arrival!
Quiet neighborhood that is safe for taking walks or riding bikes. The house is located about 6 blocks from the grocery store, 4 blocks to our museum and there are several restaurants nearby.
  • This place is AMAZING! Absolutely in love with the design and how awesome the hosts are! Lots of snack or anything we really could possibly need!

    Victoria2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This place is very cute! You can tell that the owners really put thought into each room. We really appreciated seeing a few toys and even a nightlight for our toddler. The house was very clean, the couch was comfy, and the kitchen had just about everything you can think of that may need. We bought a wine opener before arriving because we weren't sure just how stocked the kitchen would be. We were pleased upon opening all the kitchen cabinets/drawers. We even found a rice cooker in there. We would absolutely stay here again!!

My place is close to the center of Boise City, OK.. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). We are a good stopping point before heading to the mountains of Colorado and New Mexico. Boise City has a new family owned restaurant. We also have an incredible museum that highlights the dust bowl. We welcome you to "No Man's Land".
Two bedrooms, bath, living room and covered deck are for guest with a shared kitchen. There is a new cafe opened for more options for dining. We are the perfect stop if you are on your way to the mountains either in Colorado or NewMexico.
  • Frankie’s space was so welcoming and relaxing! We arrived quite late but had no trouble finding the place with the help of her directions. We appreciated the separate living room stocked with fresh fruit, Keurig coffee, water, tissues and towels. The bed was comfortable and cozy, too. Our only regret was that our stay was so short.

    Tegan2020-03-14T00:00:00Z

  • Had a great time, we would stay here again for sure. Cerita was a great host, always communicating. This was such a beautiful valley, and the ranch was located right in the middle of it; great location.

    Jacob2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • There are many dishes, pans, and other kitchen items....beyond the basic. Also there is a cabinet with great games. There are amenities for children, too--a little table and chairs....a few toys. The beds are memory foam so it's a little hard to find your comfort spot. Once you do, you will sleep great!! The area outside the house is beautiful and so quiet. I had not anticipated the beauty and quiet. Also, you might see deer, antelope, mountain sheep, barn cats, all kinds of wildlife. Both front porch and back patio are available for guest use. The sky is divine. The hosts are as sweet and good as anyone can be. They have rules, but they also are very generous to let you borrow things you might have forgotten. Sweet couple who dropped by at my invitation and specified time. If it weren't a seven hour drive I would go to Mesa Valley every week!!!!!

    Belinda2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Every time we stay here, it’s somehow a little better than the last. Cerita clearly is always adding new little touches, and it truly makes this home so cozy and comfortable. We can’t wait to be back again ☺️

  • If you want a unique, warm, hospitable, authentic lodging experience that invokes the whole vibe of the Great Plains, stay at the Bunkhouse! So happy we got to meet Parker and Lushane. Truly enjoyed talking to them. Great story of how this place came to be. It’s ‘off grid’, but totally worth it. (We had decent cell service, actually - AT&T). Beautiful skies and views. We really enjoyed it.

  • I could not have ask for any better host for my 3 night stay in Cimarron County. I have stayed at many Air BnB and have never had as friendly and kind host as Parker and LuShane. Lindsey also does a great job with quick communication. I will be back!

  • Interesting little air bnb! Love how the name coincided with the decorating for our room! They have a cute swing set and playground if you’re traveling with the kiddos! Kitchen has everything we needed for our time there. Beautiful sunset and nice cool breeze...only thing that freaked me out were the locusts! they didn’t bother us, you could just hear them in the trees. Bed was super comfy too!

  • The Bunk House was exactly what I hoped for, a serene stay in the Oklahoma Panhandle. The scenery was beautiful, adding to the experience. The room was comfortable and quiet, a great night’s rest on a long trip. I’ll absolutely be back and plan to stay longer.

  • We needed a place to stay between Dallas and Denver, and we chose this place over a hotel in Amarillo. What a fabulous experience! A bit off the beaten track, but if you're looking for some peace and quiet, this is the place to be.

  • A great place to enjoy the piece and quiet. Great view of the area. The couple we talked to were amazing.

This brick home was built in the 1950’s. It has been updated with ceramic tile, a shower in the bathtub, new carpet & laminate flooring in most of the house. The new air conditioning system and heater with added ceiling fans make for the ideal temperature for any visitor. The home is comfortable, inviting and peaceful. The backyard currently has an unfinished patio with chairs & a grill for those who enjoy the outdoors. The fenced yard makes for a great place for the kids to run and play!
Located in the center of everything that is happening! Easy access to restaurants, our museum, convenience stores, churches and downtown businesses and shopping! We have Cimmie the dinosaur, our new “Thunder Court”, public outdoor swimming pool in the summer, Black Mesa State Park, and Lake Etling nearby. We are located close to the Texas, New Mexico and Colorado borders.
It is a quiet neighborhood in a friendly town!
  • This place was great.
