The Backpacker

Our "Backpacker" is a cute and cozy 96 sq.ft. of tiny house nirvana. Situated on a small tidal slough, it provides a beautiful natural setting for reflection and appreciation of that which is good in life. For those looking for luxury, the Backpacker is not for you (you may encounter bugs and it's really hot in summer). However, the Backpacker has a pretty cool vibe, and is extremely convenient to historic Charleston and Funky Folly Beach. The Backpacker is for backpackers and nature lovers.

The Boathouse

We call it the Boathouse, but it could just as easily be called the treehouse. It sits just feet from a tidal creek amidst giant live oak trees. A short dock is right outside the door, so bring your kayaks or other small craft. Although cozy, it offers everything a simple cottage should. Shem Creek is minutes away, as are the beaches. Patriot's Point and parks are a short walk away. This is the closest residential neighborhood to Charleston that you will find in Mt Pleasant. ST240335 BL20139655

This bright and clean mid century modern style bedroom is a great retreat for couples, solo, and business travelers. Some features include dual shower heads, private washer & dryer and cozy seating area. Only 12 minutes to the airport and 4 minutes to I-526, the location is considered “centrally located.” 7 miles from downtown Charleston. 14 miles to Folly Beach. Close to many of the most popular wedding venues, plantations, and all the secret places the LowCountry has to offer.

This newly built carriage house is separate from the main house. The cottage is about 1,200 sqft so it very open and spacious and great views of marsh and our tidal creek. We have a separate work area with desk and a massive dinning table if you need more room to work or to gather with friends. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, massive shower, the list goes on. We are able to bring a single mattress out to the apartment for guests bringing a child, so the apartment can accommodate up to three (two adults and a child). Full kitchen with glass cook top, dish washer, full-sized refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven, etc. Includes linens, dishes and utensils. Washer/dryer en suite. Our carriage house apartment is located on a peaceful marsh on beautiful Daniel Island next to walking/biking paths. It is also walking distance to parks, shops, and restaurants. Daniel Island is approximately 15 to 20 minutes from the airport, downtown Charleston, and local beaches. All AirBnB rentals in Charleston & Daniel Island must have a business license.
