Charming cottage in Portloe

SusannahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sara is a great host, she called me after we booked. She was very quick to respond to questions. She gave us recommendations for local beaches & pubs. We ate at both the Ship Inn & the Lugger Hotel opposite. Both of which were good at different ends of the price scale. Cottage is as it looks in the photos and was clean with lovely white bedlinen. Super shower with good water pressure. Sadly we didnt have the best of weather but there are masses to lovely gardens to visit like Trebah Gardens which has its own beach. Also the Eden Project is 35 minutes away. Thank you.

Dolphins Reach

EllaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
My family and I had an amazing stay at Dolphin’s Reach in St Mawes over the Christmas period. I’d highly recommend the property. The house is beautiful, clean and spacious for 4 people. The location was ideal just behind the Main Street, with sea views from both bedrooms. Communication from our host was proactive and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

St Mawes - sea-fronted luxurious home

AnnaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Great location and fantastic views from the sitting room - so even on a wet day it was a pleasure to be inside looking out. Louise was a very responsive host and answered any questions promptly. I think the property would work best for three couples as one of the double bedrooms in 'the bothy' is up some steps outside, so you need to come down the steps inside the house for the bathroom (so not suitable for more elderly / less agile). And the dining area in the sitting room works best for 4-6. But overall a lovely home.

This isn't a house, it's a home. We loved everything about it from the moment we arrived until the minute we left. Annabel has provided everything you need (and more) in this tastefully refurbed and decorated home... Clean, comfy, crisp cotton bedding, even egg cups (!), I can't think of anything that was missing that we wished we had brought with us. We loved the deck area and garden and the two parking spaces are an absolute boon -- you can walk down to the centre of St Mawes in <10 mins (for the shops, pubs, restaurants, ferry, pasty shop, etc). And finally, the view from the lounge is a-maz-ing! Just looking out of the picture window improves your physical and mental health. St Mawes is a gorgeous destination and there's no better place to call home if you're planning a stay in the Roseland Peninsula.

Summerhouse, St Mawes, with Parking.

Lovely little bolt-hole situated just above Tavern Beach. Right in the heart of the village, yet tucked away enough to be quiet and private. spectacular views across the water to St Anthony's Head. Less than a minute's walk to the beach. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Just perfect for a few nights away from home. An absolute little gem 💎 We'll be back over the water to stay here again for sure...

We had a short stay here and this place is brilliant! It is super super super and walking stance from everything. The hosts were quite to respond and accommodating (they also have adorable dogs who came and said hello to us one morning which was a great start to our day!😊) The space itself is small and cosy, but feels plenty spacious inside. it comes well equipped and there's also a bunch of leaflets of things to do around the area in the drawer which we had a lot of fun reading and it gave us good recommendations we hadn't thought of! Highly recommend this place 😊 the perfect little spot our weekend away, thank you so much
