We had a lovely few days at Seagulls Rest, immaculately clean and comfortable. Penny has thought of everything to make it a home from home. The location is ideal for visiting Dungeness, Dymchurch, Lydd and Rye which are all in easy reach by car.

I had a solo trip here and was lucky to escape all the hustle and bustle of London to this little piece of paradise. Fantastic and relaxing couple of days surrounded by nature, reading my book on the hammock and sitting beside the fire pit of an evening with a cheeky drink! The hut itself is stunning with everything perfectly organised and super clean! Thank you Louisa for your hospitality and for your fab communication. Will be back soon! ☀️

I visited the Lodge with my brother, parents and dog. The beds had great quality, very comfy, as well as the hot tub. It was very nice and warm (especially on windy days). The deck was very strong and the chairs were quite nice. It had an amazing view of the sunsets which were beautiful. The kitchen was nice and spacious, great for making meals. The main garden had a zipline, a tree swing, a ply area and a trampoline. All very enjoyable Overall it was a very nice place to stay. Aisling, 11.
