Our stay at Casa Balma was absolutely perfect. The location is ideal – just a 5 to 10-minute drive to everything: great surf spots, beautiful beaches, and the entrance to Cahuita National Park. Even just walking around the nearby streets, we spotted toucans, spider monkeys, and howler monkeys. And right in the yard, we were treated to the sight of stunning tropical birds – it truly felt like nature was all around us. The property is spotless and full of charm, with a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere that made it incredibly relaxing. What made our stay even more special were the hosts, Christine and Nicolas – they were more than perfect. Warm, generous, and always ready to help, they made us feel right at home from the very beginning. And we can’t forget Caipi, their sweet dog, who greeted us every day with endless joy and cuddles. Great value for the money. The decor of the room is not the newest, but everything is very clean, functional and you feel comfortable. The garden is a dream and the pool is great for cooling off and also offers enough shade. If the weather is bad, then you can relax on the covered terrace. Many restaurants can be reached in 10-15 minutes on foot.
