Apartment holiday rentals in San Gimignano

Our stay was amazing. The posted pictures do not do her place justice. you have to see it, to believe it. We did opt for a private dinner in our room and it was just wonderful. We were served a linguini pasta in an olive oil sauce with amazing tomatoes, then homeade bread with a chicken dish, with a thick sauce, but I can't explain. maybe like a piccata, but different and grilled vegetables with a ginormous portion of tiramisu. I highly recommend!!!! It was around 80' F, and the place was cool inside, as described. The pool was beautiful, although we didn't use. Her horse is probably the most friendly horse I've ever met! The route is not easy to get there, but that's just how the area is. Lots of winding roads and sharp curves. Pay attention for motorcycles and bikes.

Only stayed one night but will be back for longer. Evenings in San Gimignano are so delightful after all the day tourists leave. Francesca's place is ideally located close to everything but very quiet and charming. Short walk from parking lot much appreciated as parking can be challenging. Kitchen is well equipped. We didn't really use it much, but has a nice gas stove and a big refrigerator. Liked the layout of kitchen, dining and living area downstairs and bedrooms and bath upstairs. Feels like a house. Appreciated fans in both bedrooms and cross ventilation with windows on front and back of house. Francesca was very responsive and let us know when we could leave our bags early. Check in and check out was very easy.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und vor allem angenehm kühl, wenn es draußen heiß ist. Der Sitzplatz vor dem Eingang bietet einen wunderschönen Blick über typisch toskanische Landschaft, man ist mitten in der Natur ( Eidechsen, Rehe, Glühwürmchen, viele verschiedene Vögel…). Trotzdem ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Es war alles sehr sauber, das Bett sehr bequem und die Vor- Ort - Betreuung von Cathy und Fabio herzlich. Volle Empfehlung von uns!

Concetta a été extrêmement amicale prévenante en entretenant le contact quotidiennement pour vérifier que nous n'avions besoin de rien. Le logement correspond à la description donnée. Intérieur dans un style rustique ; propre et bien rangé. La piscine est très agréable et la vue magnifique. La localisation à proximité de San Gimignano, Certaldo, etc. est idéale à condition d'avoir une voiture. A recommander !

Wow, what can we say? From the moment we booked this delightful spot in Tuscany our holiday could not have gone any better. Valentina was always available to answer questions and make suggestions before we arrived as well as help us whilst we were there. Her parents were also very friendly and available to answer any questions. The accommodation was perfect, well equipped and the property maintained its Tuscan culture. The pool and surrounding garden were perfect. Ideal for either staying put and relaxing or visiting delightful Tuscan hill top cities. We cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough. We intend to return. Thank you Valentina, for a wonderful holiday.

We had the most amazing stay at Sibilla's apartment! It is STUNNINGLY decorated and almost makes it feel like you are staying in the Medici Chapel itself. The apartment had everything we needed, and the plant room/ sunroom was glorious to enjoy in the mornings/returning after a day's exploring. We met both Niccolo and Sibilia and both were so friendly and helpful. The area surrounding the apartment is perfect, with central Florence being a 20 minute walk away, and the restaurants/shops/wine bars of Santo Spirito being literally on your doorstep. This is the most enjoyable Air BnB we have ever stayed in, and would come back in a heartbeat! Grazie mille!!

This place is what I imagined when I close my eyes and think of Tuscany. The view from the bedroom is amazing and the apartment is adorable. There is AC but we didn’t end up needing it since the windows let in such a glorious breeze. The kitchen was well equipped, we were just missing paper towels. The pool was great with a fantastic view although it would have been helpful to have access to pool towels. The location is great and about a 15 minute drive into San Gimignano so you probably need a car. It was also a quick drive to supermarkets and nearby wineries which we loved. Berta was really helpful during check-in and provided us with recommendations in the area.

Excelente lugar, lo recomendáramos a nuestras amistades. A pesar de estar a 15 minutos de san Giminiano, es de fácil acceso y tiene estacionamiento propio, cosa que en la ciudad casi no existen. Muy lindas vistas, piscina, lugares que se pueden recorrer alrededor.

5 Stars – A Tuscan Dream Come True! Our stay at Francesco’s private resort-style retreat in the hills of Tuscany was absolutely magical. The location is stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and the perfect escape into the beauty of the Italian countryside. The rustic room had so much charm and comfort, and the property itself was amazing, with not one but two beautiful pools to relax by. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant. The free breakfast was far beyond the typical offering—not just muffins, but a full, authentic Italian breakfast that we looked forward to each morning. Dinner was just as impressive, showcasing delicious local flavors and warm hospitality. It was also a great jumping-off point for exploring the region—we took a lovely day trip to Siena with ease. This place is a hidden gem, and we’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Tuscany!

Fatto vacanza di 5giorni a dicembre. L’Appartamento oltre a essere a due passi dalla piazza di San Gimignano , è facile da raggiungere . Internamente era molto pulito , confortevole e caldo essendo periodo natalizio. Samuele l’hostes e sempre stato disponibile per qualsiasi informazione , cordiale e gentilissimo . Consigliatissimo

We love San Gimignano. It’s the best beautiful medieval town. We stayed 6 nights. The apartment had a tv with local channels, dishwashing liquid for the kitchen, washing detergent for the washing machine. They provided the cafeteria (coffee machine for stove) with coffee which was great. You need to bring: - bathroom amenities - kitchen amenities (salt, oil, water etc) - stock up on water; it’s hot There is a local supermarket. The only downside is. There is no WiFi in the apartment due to the owners wishes. This was a real bummer for us. As tourists and business owners we needed access to Google maps to plan travel, check in for flights, conduct admin for back home. Internet access in the town is limited as is (but depends who you’re with and your plan). Obviously this is such a minor detail but hindered our experience a little when we were planning. Davide was super helpful and lovely. The apartment is beautiful, clean and we absolutely loved it. Would recommend 😊

Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit hier - die Natur sowie die Anlage selbst sind wunderschön, etwas rustikal mit ein paar Erneuerungen, über die Ana viel erzählen kann. Man kann sich auf dem Gelände super verteilen, hat genug Privatsphäre falls erwünscht und kann die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge beobachten. Auch der Pool zwischen den Olivenbäumen ist traumhaft. Wir konnten von hier aus einige Städte wie Florenz und Siena besuchen, auch hier hatte Ana super Tipps für geeignete Restaurants parat. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

This was the perfect place to stay! Just minutes to the bridge leading to city center along with some fun spots right outside the door. Lots of steps but WORTH IT! The view from the terrace was great and the apartment itself was better than we could’ve asked for! Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone else planning a trip to Florence!

L'alloggio è splendido, esattamente come si vede in foto, inserito in un panorama spettacolare. Ottime le forniture dell'appartamento (la cucina ha tutto il necessario, incluso olio, aceto, sale, pepe, saponi, cialde per la macchina del caffè, bustine di the...). L'idromassaggio all'esterno è una chicca spettacolare, noi lo abbiamo trovato caldo e pronto all'uso. Consigliatissimo.

AMAZING stay. More beautiful than the photos. Spotless. 5 min drive to Siena. View of the wine country. Bed was more comfortable than my bed at home. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful.

All unsere Erwartungen und Bedürfnisse wurden voll erfüllt. Restaurants und Geschäfte sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Das Apartment ist ein idealer Ort, um Ausflüge in der Toskana zu unternehmen. Carlo ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und gibt gute Hinweise und Vorschläge.

Netter Empfang von Lorenzo dem Vater von Marta. Eigener privater Garten, sehr ruhige Lage. Richtig zum Erholen.

Muy buen lugar para hospedarse, las fotos coinciden totalmente con el lugar, está muy cerca de la estación de tren, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

After another Airbnb mishap, Gianluca was so accommodating to allow to book and check in late last minute. He even met us there personally to be sure we got in okay. He even had the fold out couch ready with linens and provided a few breakfast items. The place was better than we’d hoped, location was fantastic, updated and perfectly clean! We would absolutely stay here again. This place will be one of the highlights of our trip!

Excellent location and beautiful apartment. Easy to get in self-check in and good communication with the host. Great kitchen, stocked with all the hardware you need. Common area was comfortable for the 4 of us. The view is amazing. Balconies on the water with close up views of Ponte Vecchio. Definitely one of the best places we've stayed in a 20 day trip in several cities.

From booking to checking out, things could not have been smoother. Everything was as described and Alessandra was a very responsive and reasonable host. The area was also fantastic- 10 minutes walk to the Duomo and the restaurants and bars in the small Piazza five minutes’ walk away were excellent. Hope to return soon!

Wir waren für zwei Nächte mit vier Personen in der Unterkunft. Das Haus ist sehr schön, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Lage ruhig – ideal zum Entspannen. Leider war das Wasser im Pool gekippt und somit nicht nutzbar, was natürlich schade war, da wir uns darauf gefreut hatten. Die Vermieterin war freundlich und bemüht zu helfen, aber leider konnte das Problem in der kurzen Zeit unseres Aufenthalts nicht mehr behoben werden. Insgesamt dennoch ein schönes Haus, mit Potenzial für einen perfekten Aufenthalt – wenn der Pool wieder in Ordnung ist.

Le logement se trouve dans une grande bâtisse familiale perchée sur une colline et offre une vue splendide sur le paysage toscan. L’intérieur correspond parfaitement aux photos. Nous y trouvons de nombreux bibelots, tableaux, souvenirs de toute sorte qui évoquent les générations qui se sont succédées dans cette belle demeure. La piscine est exceptionnellement grande et parfaite après une journée de découverte. Dommage qu'il n'y a pas la climatisation, mais Antiionetta a mis à disposition 2 ventilateurs bienvenus. La voiture peut être garée dans la cour.

Martina's place was a great rental in central Florence. Close enough to walk to major landmarks and the central train station. The place has everything you need and more. We were met by Martina and her friendly dog on arrival. She is very friendly and hospitable and took her time to show us her home and give us lots of information on the area and suggestions. I would recommend this rental to everyone!
