Holiday rentals with a fireplace in San Gimignano

Dear Anna, nu we bijna terug een week in België zijn, dringt het nog meer tot ons door hoe prettig het verlof was in Toscane. Ik wil je hartelijk danken voor je goeie zorgen en betrokkenheid. We hebben zo genoten van je mooie huis -waar alles aanwezig was-, het mooie zwembad en de prachtige wijnhuizen en steden in de buurt. Ik wil je ook een dik compliment geven voor je prachtige planten op het hele domein. Het is niet simpel om die zo gezond te houden onder de Italiaanse zon. My husband and I, plus our French Bulldog, had the pleasure of staying here for just over 3 weeks. Immediately felt like home, and host family had everything to do with that! Highly recommend. stunning views, fabulous location and some of the most gracious people I've ever met.

I can not say enough about Alessandra and her amazing land! It was the most magical place we have ever been to. We are taking a 3 month trip, hitting up 21 cities in Europe and this is BY far the best! She was so kind and took us shopping and back to our train! She was always there when we needed her.thank you Alessandra we will see you next year!

We felt like kings of the castle in Stefano and Sylvias’s place. Top of a hill with expansive views and always such a beautiful breeze. San Quirico was lovely as was Bagno Vignoni at the bottom of our hill. We could see the twinkling lights of Pienza and Montepulciano both of which were an easy drive away. Generosity in the way the villa was presented and our hosts’ welcome, with many wonderful local suggestions. Would highly recommend.

Everything was absolutely perfect! ⭐️ Location: Ideal base for exploring Tuscany — you’re right in the heart of it all. Whether you’re heading to Florence, Pisa, or the charming hill towns, everything is within easy reach. House: Well-equipped and comfortable, with all the listed amenities in perfect working order. After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful and rustic farmhouse placed in ancient olive grove. We had six adults and were extremely comfortable for our two week stay. Some days we never got out of the clean and refreshing pool. Family dinners were prepared in the perfectly functional kitchen served in the courtyard dining table Nicola was always availableto answer whatever ever came up. Valeria und Simone haben eine super schöne und saubere Wohnung! Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung bietet einen super Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Während unseres Aufenthaltes haben wir immer gute Tipps und Ratschläge von den beiden bekommen. Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohlgefühlt und da das Grundstück komplett eingezäunt ist, konnte er sich frei bewegen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Es war eine unglaublich schöne Zeit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lisa’s Montalcino Townhouse!! She met us upon arrival and gave great recommendations for wineries and restaurants. Attention to details in the home made it perfect and relaxing! Loved the back yard/patio in the evenings especially. She left us 2 bottles of wine, breakfast items, a basket of EU chargers and cords, and robes for the hot tub! It felt like home away from home and we hope to have a return visit! Thanks for thinking of everything we could need for our comfort and stay!

We stayed here in 2016 and it was even better than we remembered. A beautiful apartment, quiet and private, with amazing original features. The area is residential and round the corner is San Ambrogio food market. Lovely local restaurants all use fresh ingredients from the market. Wonderful evening in a street filled with locals enjoying food and drink. We could have spent the whole time exploring the locality.

Sunflower è bellissima!! Un oasis de paix! La vue y est si magnifique que nous avons opté de toujours souper à la maison afin d’assister au majestueux spectacle que la nature nous offre: le coucher de soleil!! Il y a quelques appartements dans le complexe, mais on se sentait seuls puisque les espaces jardins sont biens divisés. Le secteur est paisible, mais en même temps près de Sienne et de plusieurs merveilleuses régions de la Toscane facilement accessibles en voiture. Le livre d’instructions, disponible à l’appartement est complet. Il comprend aussi des suggestions de parcours très agréables. Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux de Lorenzo, papa de Marta, qui nous a très bien expliqué les fonctionnalités de l’appartement. Merci pour la bouteille de vin, très apprécié! Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement! Nous y avons pris de nombreuses photos, mais aucune ne reflète entièrement l’extrême beauté du paysage. Grazzie mille Marta & tutta la famiglia!

Wow what a fabulous stay ! San Gusme and its surrounding area is beautiful and we felt so lucky to be able to stay in San Gusme itself . Elvira was super helpful and had great local recommendations for wine tasting etc .

A truly magical and unique stay in a castle apartment. After 24 days exploring the beauty of Italy, our arrival at Simone's third floor apartment in the village was breathtaking. This truly magnificent setting, nestled within a castle, immediately enveloped us in a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The apartment itself is not only beautifully appointed and meticulously cared for, but also boasts spectacular views across the mountain range that invited us to sit for hours, simply unwinding and soaking in the tranquility. While we ventured down the mountain a few times, we found ourselves drawn to the gentle rhythm of morning and evening walks, always culminating in a visit to the piazza to once again marvel at the stunning views Simone, our host, is simply the most considerate and attentive host I have encountered in 15 years of travel. We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and the beautiful view of Florence it provides. Elisabetta gave clear instructions for check-in and made sure to reach out to us during the day to confirm everything was going well.

The apartment was right in the centre of Siena, a fabulous place to explore from. The balcony was a wonderful place to sit and watch everything go on in the piazza del campo.

We stayed here for a few nights and had a fantastic time! The views were amazing, and the place was very spacious and clean. Lapo was fantastic - really helpful, even picking us up and dropping us back off at the bus stop. We'd highly recommend!

Spędziliśmy w tym domu cały tydzień. Bardzo miło wspominamy pobyt. Claudio był pomocny i wytłumaczył nam wszystkie kwestie związane z zamieszkaniem. Gospodarz czekał w miejscowości obok. Było to ważne ponieważ droga dojazdowa jest specyficzna. Ogólnie zalecam auto z wysokim i dobrym zawieszeniem, ewentualnie 4x4. Są spore koleiny i dziury (były akurat poprawiane podczas naszego urlopu) i na pewno stanowi to wyzwanie dla zwykłych aut czy suvów. Droga jest szutrowa. Nam akurat się to podobało i mieliśmy frajdę w jeździe naszym autem terenowym. Jeżeli chodzi o dom to jest to przepiękna, stara i klimatyczna nieruchomość. Styl widać na zewnątrz i w środku. Świetny basen. Piękne widoki i otoczenie. Kwintesencja Toskanii. Dobra baza wypadkowa na wycieczki. Nie zmieniłbym tam nic. Wyposażenie jest kompletne. Czystość również bez zastrzeżeń. Ogólnie top!

We had a wonderful stay at pierre luigis home. It looks just like the pictures and is a very homey, relaxing place to stay. Has everything you need on hand. We loved the porch and its view and enjoyed the o of the hot tub. Great location to explore surrounding towns! Had a great time!

Authentic Tuscan countryside experience, with amazing views and excellent facilities. Well located if you want to explore all that Tuscany has to offer.

We had a really good time at this place. It was spacious, clean, and worked perfectly for our group. There were plenty of bathrooms, and the house had all the amenities you might need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was a big plus—especially the terrace and patio area with the big table, which was great for hanging out and having meals together. The location is honestly perfect—super peaceful, but just a short drive to Florence, great local restaurants, and vineyards. Also, there was tons of parking space, which made things super easy for us. Check-in was smooth and the host was really helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Olga's villa is absolutely stunning. Our family of 9 had the most wonderful visit. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful and well appointed kitchen, eating outside on the terrace, swimming in the pool, and relaxing outside on the terrace, enjoying the peaceful beauty and breathtaking views of Tuscany. Olga's place is truly special. Olga was very communicative, helpful and kind. We highly recommend her villa to others.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem schönen Haus – alles war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Auch mit unserem Hund haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt, es war absolut hundefreundlich! Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Ein besonderes Highlight war der angebotene Pizzaabend – das war nicht nur super gemütlich, sondern auch kulinarisch ein echtes Erlebnis. Ehrlich gesagt, eine der besten Pizzen, die ich je gegessen habe! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder – absolute Empfehlung! 🌟

Wow! Christina’s property is beautiful! The surrounding Tuscan hills make for a breathtaking setting, with wonderful views to the east and west for sunrise and sunset. We enjoyed drinking in the views from the terraces and while cooling off in the pool, which was a great size and bigger than we had imagined from the pictures. Watching the local swallows, who would soar overhead and drink from the pool, was a real treat. The villa itself was spacious, clean and thoughtfully decorated. Christina was a wonderful host, ready to greet us on arrival and to help us check-out, and responsive to all our messages. She even bought us a lilo for the pool when I asked if there was one! Christina had lots of suggestions of local things to do, from the best artisanal butcher from whom to purchase bistecca alla fiorentina, to where to buy the finest locally produced olive oil and Chianti. We hope to return, a real treat! Grazie mille, Christina!

Family of 5 here, 3 small kids. A wonderful stay! We toured surrounding villages in the morning and came back to the pool to beat the heat in the afternoon. The private cooking class with Valentina was the absolute highlight of the trip!

Leonardo, Lisa, & Nonna Sylvana all went the extra mile to make things run smoothly for us. With the welcoming torta & pizza, & the homemade lasagna a few days later, we were able to get by with very few groceries for the week. The villa & surroundings are incredible! The house is immaculate & well supplied. We didn't have a car but having one would have been nice to reach the surrounding area. We navigated the bus system that is available & it took us awhile to figure it out, but once learned, we were able to get to & from Florence. We walked to & from Impruneta which was further away than we realized. It's a bit tricky with no sidewalks, so we had to be careful. (Note: No taxis were available.) We splurged on a winery tour through Tours of Tuscany that picked us up & dropped us off at the villa, & drove us to 2 different wineries & San Gimignano. Amazing! Communication with our host was easy, very pleasant, & timely. We'd love to return & spend even more time there some day.
