Cozy and stylish retreat studio

TaylorRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We stayed one night passing through the area. The instructions to get in were very clear and easy to follow, everything was labeled that we would need, and there were recommendations and helpful tips left for us. It was a cozy, very cute little cottage in the garden. It was exactly as described and photographed. I appreciated the communication and that everything was to be expected. We ate at Bliss Cafe, a local recommendation, and had yummy curry bowls for dinner. We got to watch hummingbirds in the garden and wildlife in the area in the evening. The mountains were beautiful too! It is a little off the main road, but plenty to do within 30 minutes of the house.

Mountain Thyme Gardens Retreat House with Sauna

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a special gem of a place!! We stopped over for two nights to see Great Sand Dunes National Park and had no idea what an incredible stay we would have at Lillian’s home. She was so communicative and helpful and the whole upstairs was so clean, spacious, and had everything we could possibly need in it. And the sun room was amazing! The views from every side of the house were remarkable and we could see all the stars at night from the balcony. Lillian even showed us the chickens and baby chicks and supplied us with fresh eggs! Truly such a thoughtful host and special place- wish we had had more time to spend there!

Casa Open Sky

This place was for sure one of the best Airbnbs I have stayed at. It was so clean, the pictures do not do it justice once you're there. From sunrise to sunset, the views are amazing! It can get a little warmer during the day but that wasn't a huge issue as we were mostly out and about at the Sand Dunes or hiking. The place cools down immensely in the mornings and evenings. One thing that was quite difficult to figure out was the smoke alarm situation as it was quite sensitive to us cooking our delicious Mexican meals, but other than that the place was a dream! extra linens, a full laundry room, plenty of places to chill at. The sound of the creek was beautiful when opening up the windows along with the birds chirping. It was truly such a wonder to stay and I will be booking this place in the future for sure! Amy was a great host and allowed us check in a bit earlier because the place was ready, and she was very responsive! I usually don't write this much,Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Summer Fun HempCrete Casita!

JohnRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We were very happy to be able to stay there. It is in a very quiet place. There is a big window that faces out to the mountains and they are spectacular. It was one of the cleanest places I've stayed at. Simple, very pleasant surroundings in the casita. I appreciated the thick hempcrete walls and the beautiful beetle-wood ceilings and the wall hanging above the bed with the celestial bodies had a great feel. The stars are many more than you are used to seeing in Crestone if you live in any city. We slept long and well here. Waking up to the morning sun later than our norms was a treat. The view out of any of the windows is nature with pinion and juniper holding you. Lisa and David were very kind and helpful if we had any questions. I would recommend!

CrestDomes: Stargazers Paradise

The dome in Crestone is such a memorable and unique place to stay! We brought our two kids, and they loved it—it was unlike anywhere we’ve been. The dome gave us a great intro to the charm of Crestone, and we can’t wait to come back. There are three domes that share a larger kitchen (like a cozy lobby). Even with all three booked, it felt peaceful and private. The projector made for a fun, cozy movie night on a big screen. Dina has clearly put a lot of thought into making the space comfy year-round, with great heating and cooling options. As others mentioned, plan ahead for meals—there’s a Dollar Store about 20 minutes away. There’s also a new playground at the Moffat school our kids enjoyed. We’re so glad we stayed here and highly recommend it!
