Cottage holiday rentals in Sandilands

We stayed in Oak Cottage at Elms Farm Cottages and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Carol was a fantastic host - very communicative, flexible and helpful and the cottage was perfect - very comfortable and with excellent amenities - all the small things taken care of. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day.

Spacious house. Good sized rooms. Good outside space. Nice and quiet. Bit difficult to get out of the drive by car as it was on a bend with little visibility. Cooking was by AGA ( except for microwave) . That would be great in winter but not ideal during the hottest week of the year.

Had such a lovely stay at The Hatchery! It had everything you need and more. The little things were thought about. Really nice quality bedding and towels - and plenty of them! Natalie & family were friendly and kept on top of the hot tub while we were there making sure it had the right chemical levels in etc! It’s a lovely spot for a quiet weekend, near enough to beaches but far enough from the crowds! Lovely!

Amazing stay! Just what we needed after a busy Christmas. Yew Cottage is in a fantastic location and has lots to offer. We loved the hot tub and it was only a short drive to the closest beach. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a fantastic stay ☺️

Spacious accommodation in a peaceful setting. Great swimming pool and hot tub on site, and good off road parking. John was a welcoming host and made sure we were comfortably warm despite the bitterly cold weather outside. We didn't make use of the conservatory or garden due to it being autumn and the below freezing temperatures during our stay, but in summer those features of this Airbnb would be a great asset.

This was our second year staying at the cottage. Like last time it was a wonderful holiday and we were sad to go. That Cottage feels like a second home to all of us. And we will be coming again next year. The property is beautiful and cosy. The surrounding area makes you feel so relaxed within nature. In the mornings we were able to see a barn owl on the garden fence. If you want somewhere to relax and unwind in the country I cannot recommend The Cottage enough.

We were a bit optimistic due to there being no photos of the inside but don’t let this put you off booking. The inside is stunning and so much space. Would definitely go back!

What a find ! Superb accommodation set in beautiful grounds and lakes. Lush green views from every window. It was squeaky clean with fresh smelling linen and towels. Barbara and Luke were super hosts and it was obvious how much they care for their properties and grounds. We are very amateur fishermen and had lots of fun catching the small fish on maggots although it was obvious that the lakes were well stocked for those with more experience than us. No need to fish though - plenty of seats around the lakes plus patio furniture outside the accommodation, so if you are after a relaxing time away from it all I can't recommend it enough.

The cottage really was beautiful and to a high spec. Loads of space, great decor, comprehensive instructions. I really think Clare has thought of everything. I would highly recommend staying here, and such beautiful countryside as well.

Lovely shabby chic character terraced cottage. We enjoyed our stay here, nice enclosed rear garden for our dog. There is a nice tearoom a couple of doors away and lovely walking from the door and many great walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Recommend.

We stayed at Ducks Nest in February and were happy to cone again, this time in Pheasants Roost. Everything was perfect again. We'll definitely look to stop here again when coming to the east coast and highly recommend it.

My family and I - 4 children from age 9 down to a baby had an excellent stay at Lisa's. The location was perfect for us, we could walk into Hunstanton or any car drives were only short to get where we wanted. The beach is very close and we were lucky to be there on the one warm and still day of the week! The rain didn't put us off being busy and we did so much regardless! The house was clean and tidy and provided a great space for all of us. Lisa communicated very quickly and was helpful. Thank you, we had a great time!

Such a lovely cottage in a beautiful, peaceful area. Only 3 mins walk to the beach and such a wonderful beach, plenty of local amenities 20 mins walk or 5 mins drive into Hunstanton with lots to do, the walk into Hunstanton is well worth it, it is a lovely easy walk along the cliff with lovely scenery. Cottage is well equipped, everything you need to make you feel at home. It was very clean and fresh and we felt very relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The garden is lovely and gets the sun all afternoon into the evening. Would definitely recommend Ridge Cottage. Ideal location for visiting the Norfolk area. Will definitely stay here again I. the future.

Great 1 bedroomed place to stay on the countryside but only a few mins from Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Great host!

The cottage has been planned and presented with excellent attention to detail. The gardens are huge and so well maintained. The gardens have lots of little 'hidden places' and quirky details that add to the whole experience. We loved the location, as it's off the beaten track but, not at the end of a dreadful dirt track but, amidst lovely open fields and with well laid access. Don't expect a million shops or restaurants in walking distance but, nice pubs and food are short drives away. Local town about 20 mins easy drive. A perfect haven for two people looking for peace and quiet.

What a beautiful place to spend a few nights! The cottage is absolutely immaculate - the cleanest Air BNB we have stayed in - with lots of thoughtful welcome touches including fresh eggs from the chickens on site, milk and cookies and lots of information on the local area. I had mentioned very briefly that it was a birthday trip and a birthday banner was waiting for us on arrival - which is so kind! The children were delighted by their bunk beds and the board games. One of the absolute highlights for us and the children was the opportunity to bottle feed the lambs and collect the eggs from the chickens… we felt very lucky to get involved! The cottage is perfectly situated, in a peaceful spot overlooking the sheep, but only 15/20 minutes from Skegness. We recommend the high ropes course at Wild Pines and the aquarium/ mini boards in Skegness for families! We had such a fantastic weekend, would highly recommend it to others and we’d love to return one day. Thank you!

Really lovely cottage in a beautiful village with 3 pub restaurants. Well equipped and roomy and the owner did everything to make our stay extremely pleasant including a lovely welcome pack of goodies.

Our stay at Thor's Garden Homestead was excellent, this charming property offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The accommodation was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The spacious living areas provided ample room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. The location is ideal for exploring the local area, with easy access to scenic walks and attractions. It served as the perfect base for our visits to Lincoln Cathedral and Castle, the International Bomber Command Centre, RAF Coningsby, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and the nearby coast—Skegness, Sandilands, Sutton on Sea, and Mablethorpe were all within reach. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful countryside retreat with great access to both culture and coast

The cottage was perfectly clean and comfortable in a lovely, peaceful location. The adults appreciated the wine, and the kids loved their Easter eggs! The weather allowed us to enjoy the garden and the kids had fun with the toys. A perfect location for exploring local walk and bike routes.
