Greenwood House - Newly Converted

JillRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a fabulous place. Right in the Cheshire countryside. The house was just as described. The large family kitchen was a great hub. All bedrooms were light and airy with fresh white bed linen. Towels and robes were provided for the hot tub which we enjoyed every day. I would absolutely recommend this place.

2 bedroomed cottage with large lawned garden

Barbara really is a fantastic host. She surprised us with a card and bottle of wine for my sister who stayed at the cottage the night before her wedding. She was also incredibly responsive and proactive with communication. You couldn't ask for a better host.

The Burrow - idyllic country retreat with hot tub

PhillipRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Enjoyed an extremely pleasant stay at the cottage. The accommodation was first class in a lovely peaceful location. My partner and I took my mother , who is disabled and in a wheelchair with us. The cottage had great accessibility. Wide doorways to the downstairs bedroom and disabled friendly bathroom. The hosts even set up wheelchair ramps up to both the front and back doors and reserved a parking space for us close to the entrance. Also, the hot tub was fantastic, private and absolutely spotless. Lovely bottle of Prosecco and fresh milk in the fridge for us upon arrival. The hosts were superb and nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend this accommodation and we look forward to returning in the near future.

The Long Horn (Dog Friendly)

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Everything about this place was great. The little village itself is lovely and plenty little shops and a few bars, restaurants. The accommodation was lovely and just what we were looking for. They have thought about every single detail. From tea, coffee and milk in the fridge for our arrival, to things like storage containers to take dirty dishes to the cleaning hub next to the lodge. Every single detail in the lodge had been thought about to make the stay perfect. The bed was comfy, maybe a little hard but that is just my personal preference. The hot was really lovely. Completely private and not overlooked at all, which is what we wanted. It was lovely and warm and was checked every morning by staff. The staff are friendly. I asked if we could do a bbq on the decking of the lodge and was told we could as long as it wasn't a disposal one as it would burn the plastic decking. Hollies farm shop is 4 min drive away and perfect for bbq food. We will definitely be returning

Magnolia Cottage

Excellent property for two- cosy yet spacious, very clean and well equipped, Fiona’s communication responses were speedy and helpful. Particularly enjoyed a glass of wine in the courtyard front garden in the early evening sun. Plenty of parking on the road
