The Guest Suite is self contained comprising 1/2 the ground floor of 200yr old Heather Cottage in the quiet village of Shirwell. It consists of a bedroom, bathroom, lobby with breakfast/snack bar & enclosed porch. The nearest shops/pubs are a 10min drive. There is off-road parking to the side; space to hang wet suits & store surf boards, and secure storage for bikes. 10 mins from Barnstaple amenities and easy reach of the Tarka Trail; the SW Coast Path; North Devon beaches & beautiful Exmoor.

With stunning views across the open countryside of the Bray Valley, access to the gardens facilities at Little Bray House, countryside walks and Exmoor National Park on your doorstep this is a great getaway location. Built on a site of interest - the pods are made from a repurposed Army building left here since WWII when the army used the Little Bray Estate as a searchlight headquarters and a satellite POW camp. Each pod has a log burner, king size bed, "camping gaz" stove and plenty of space.

The old workshop is less than a 10 minute walk from two good Pubs, The Staghunters Inn & The Rockford Inn. There are amazing walks from the doorstep, a favourite being the walk to Lynmouth along the spectacular East Lyn river via the National Trust tearooms at Watersmeet - The perfect place to stop for coffee halfway! This is a refurbished Annexe - light and airy with a shower room and adjoining WC. In 2022 we have added a new kitchen, with breakfast bar seating. The property is situated ten minutes from Tiverton and two minutes from the A361 - the main route in to North Devon and Exmoor, and North Cornwall. Extra service: we welcome your dog. However, space in the Annexe is limited so if there is more than one dog, please chat to us first.
