Cozy holiday idyll in the Thuringian Forest

My family and I live on the sunny outskirts of Waldau, directly in the beautiful Ansbachtal at the foot of the Thuringian Forest. A separate entrance leads you to your area of the house. The bright and newly renovated rooms invite you to relax. The forest is almost at your doorstep. It is only a few minutes by bike to the Ratscher mountain lake. The Goethe city of Ilmenau, the state capital of Erfurt or the Vestestadt of Coburg in neighboring Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

Zu Fuß sind schnell Kurgarten, Bushaltestellen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Bank, Minigolfanlage, Ärzte, Gaststätten und diverse Wanderwege zu erreichen. Über schöne Wanderwege kommt man zu Schloss Aschach. Die schöne Rhön lädt zu diversen Unternehmungen ein. Hier z. B. Wasserkuppe mit Sommerrodelbahn, Kreuzberg usw. After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. In his honor, it has become "DER HENKELHOF," where we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. By "we" I mean my parents Heri & Ilona and me. Hello, the apartment is located in a place on the north side of the Thuringian Forest. It is ideal for cyclists, hikers and skiers. We have a year-round ski hall for cross-country skiers and those who want to become one, not far from the apartment in the beautiful Oberhof. The apartment is new and modernly furnished. A fully equipped kitchen is available for guests. It has a garage and a seating area on the terrace for cozy sitting in the evening.

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby cot for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax.
