Welcome to the green heart of Austria! Our home is in a lovely village beneath a mountain, 15 miles from Graz, Austria's beautiful second city. There are hourly buses from a bus stop just 2 minutes away. We're only 10 minutes' walk from a family-friendly wellness centre with a lake and other leisure activities. There are many walking trails that start from here. The house (500 years old, forming a bridge over the road) is a halfway point on the pilgrim path between Mariatrost & Weiz Basilica.

The accommodation is ideal for creative work, as the tranquility of nature inspires. The surrounding area offers hiking opportunities and an atmosphere for relaxation. Supermarkets and restaurants can also be reached quickly by car. A bus stop to the city center or Graz is within walking distance.

The Troadkasten is an old granary, a traditionally built house, which we have lovingly transformed into a cozy chalet. The cottage is located directly on our organic mountain farm at 1100 m above sea level and can accommodate up to 6 people. Your retreat for a quiet break or starting point for hikes and excursions in the Almenland Nature Park in Styria. Dogs are welcome. Chickens, cats and farm dog Luna run freely around the farm.

Bed linens, hand towels and dish towels are provided, Wi-Fi, tourist tax, pellets (heating material) and all operating costs are included!
