Beachfront holiday rentals in Santa Barbara County

We had a nice stay at this well equipped house with extended family and our dog. We appreciated the cleanliness, the many bathrooms, fluffy bath towels, and the short walk to the beach. We would stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming beach house in Oxnard! The home itself is super cute and incredibly comfortable—perfect for our family trip with young kids and dogs. The hosts went above and beyond in thinking through every detail: there were kid-friendly plates and cups, dog bowls and leashes, high-quality toiletries, and a well-stocked kitchen that made it easy to settle in and enjoy. The location is wonderful—you can see the ocean from the house, and it’s just a short, easy walk to the sand, even with toddlers in tow. The beach feels semi-private despite being public, which made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. We also loved how quiet and safe the neighborhood felt. Our kids could walk around comfortably, and we appreciated the calm, friendly vibe of the area. All in all, a perfect beach escape for families. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Just spent 5 nights in Ventura at David’s place. Great location, 2 min walk to dog friendly beach. Very quiet. Great location to explore Channel Islands, Ojai and Santa Barbara. Would book again in a heartbeat. Clean and comfortable

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was clean, cozy and fully stocked. We spent lots of time on the porch enjoying the view and watching all the happenings on the beach, talking to neighbors and the staff at Slappy’s next door and our evening campfires. We will definitely be staying here again! There are 2 parking spots in the garage ideal for smaller cars or SUVs and a lot across the street that charges $20 a day where we parked our Tundra.

An ideal location for time with family. There is enough space for folks to spread out and also find some quiet time. All of the essentials are there for cooking together, beach time and visiting. The entire place was super tidy and all the amenities were in great working order. Parking is available for two vehicles. The house is in a quiet neighborhood located a block from the beach and a few blocks from a handful of good restaurants. Jesse and Abha are quick to reply and provide great local information. We would stay here again!

Perfect location! Very walkable to lots of great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, wine tastings rooms and the beach. The space was beautiful, very clean and was perfect for our girls trip! 4 of us were very comfortable there.

This is a gem. Perfect location. Great house. Set up perfectly for our family of 5. The hot tub and back yard are so cute. The photos do not do this place justice. My family and I made some great memories here and would love to come back someday. John is a great host and we are so happy we chose to stay here.

My husband and I had a very peaceful and relaxing three nights at this property. We loved the location and beautiful layout and decor of the house. Lynn was very friendly and responsive. We would definitely like to come again in the future.

William was great to work with and we loved the place. Easy walk to the beach and we had the whole beach to ourselves. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

Small but efficient for us two. Great location in Carpinteria. We usually camp at the state beach but opted not to this year. Had everything we needed. Pool and spa were great. Complex was peaceful and other residents and office staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking in gated lot and the spots had plenty of room for our truck and there were bike racks inside the parking lot for locking up our bikes that we took. We only used our vehicle once it was too dark for bike riding, otherwise we biked or walked. Husband fished everyday for several hours while I got to sleep in, relax, watch tv, or walk up the street for shopping. Farmers Market on Thursday was great for buying fresh fruits and veggies and flowers.

My wife and I stayed here while I attended a conference 45 minutes away, inland. I’m so glad we stayed where we did because of the views. Not difficult to get around. Grocery store and restaurants are not a far drive away. The place had everything we needed. Older adults, so pretty quiet. You can see and hear the ocean from the condo. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

This is a beautiful home in one of the few waterfront properties between Santa Barbara and Ventura. The host was highly responsive and accommodating, and the place was very clean despite some wear and tear. The only cautions I would give to someone looking to stay here are that (1) the pool and hot tub are extremely narrow, (2) the house has no air conditioning, and (3) a large suburban or truck won’t fit in the carport with the gate closed. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Roza's place was great. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the balcony and the beach was only minutes away. The area is safe and very quiet. Roza had everything needed for our stay. The grounds around the condo were immaculate. I would recommend Roza's place for a nice place to stay.

Amanda’s place made it super easy to get everything I wanted out of this amazing town! Truly just 1 minute from the beach, walkable to the cute DT, parking spots were easy to find, and very peaceful little patio. Thank you for a great stay!

Great host, great location, fun stay. Highly recommended. Jumped on the surfliner Amtrak and took our kids to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Hung out on the beach just down the road from the apartment. Awesome time!

Cozy and immaculately maintained 70’s nautical beach vibes. Extremely friendly and responsive host. A very special place! Two things I did not like: 1. 4pm check-in (3pm more reasonable) 2. 10am checkout! (Should be 11am) These adjustments would be more fair to guests still leave plenty of time for cleaning before the next guests arrive.

We had a great stay! The place was clean and updated, and we were comfortable there. Derek was very responsive and quickly dropped off items that we needed during our stay. The location itself is great - walkable distance to the beach, nearby preserve, and quick drivable distance to most everything in the area (10 mins max).

Maddi responded quickly. House was very comfortable and well located near East Beach. There was a handy small market nearby. Restaurants were within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay there again!

Our stay in Carpinteria was amazing! The host was very responsive and friendly. The location was absolutely perfect since we were one block from amazing beach with amazing sunrises and sunsets with a beautiful walk path. All the most amazing restaurants were in walkable distance or biking. There was also a grocery store nearby and coffee shops to choose from. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. Bikes and other recreational equipment in the garage where very convenient. grill outside and fire pit were, our nighttime favorites since the nights get a little chilly. The views of the mountains and access to wine tour was also great. I would love to come back next time with my daughter.😊

Frank was an outstanding host and the house was very comfortable. The backyard is just lovely. A bonus is the wonderful preserve just a block away, with amazing views of the ocean from the bluffs. We had a wonderful stay.

This suite was amazing, Scott and Debbie have a beautiful home right next to the beach. Not to mention their sweet dog Ollie. They were responsive, friendly, and provided great recommendations for restaurants and areas near SB. Highly recommend!

Location, location, location! You are located between 101 exits so no matter which direction you want to go you are quickly on the freeway. Or, if don’t mind a mile walk along the beach, you can walk to State St and all the restaurants. It was so convenient!
