Holiday rentals with a pool in Santa Maria a Monte

My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

Amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Lucca hills. Very peaceful. Lots of birdsong. We saw a deer in the garden! The grounds are brilliant and the place is the perfect size for a couple. We loved eating on the terrace with the great view, and swimming in the private pool. Only a short drive to Lucca which has some amazing restaurants (our favourite was Osteria de Pasquale). There’s some great vineyards in the area - our favourite was Fattoria Sardi. If I was reading this review I wouldn’t think twice about booking!

Ilaria was a wonderful host. The house is located on top of a hill, with a huge and very nice garden and wonderful views. Perfect for kids to play.

What a great place to stay while visiting Tuscany. The home is a renovated medieval watchtower located up a dirt road, tucked on a hilltop overlooking the valley. Jacopo, the host, was so kind, hospitable and responsive during our 5-day visit. Would definitely recommend this place to explore Tuscana.

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

We enjoyed Maria's great house. We were kindly received by Maria and her family, where we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and delicious cake. We were with 6 adults. There's plenty of room. It's great that every bedroom has its own bathroom. It is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting with a lovely swimming pool among the olive trees and it is really equipped with all comforts. The charger for the electric car is also very nice. We picked up fresh bread every morning from the local baker in the village, 5 minutes away by car. Good base for the beautiful cities such as Lucca, Siena, Florence. The beach is also a great option. We felt very much at home. Maria and family, thank you for the wonderful time in your beautiful home.

This place was absolutely fantastic! The house was spotless and beautifully maintained — it felt incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The views were stunning and made every morning and evening feel like a dream. On top of that, the host was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always quick to respond. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended, and I’d definitely stay here again!

Bianca is one of the best hosts I ever encountered. She is very friendly, welcoming and social. She is very passionate about her house and guests. She treated us like friends and I think we already became friends for life. Her house is very special, magical, clean and beautiful. Its very spacious felt right at home and had everything we needed. Its private and peaceful yet walking distance from Grassina town down the hill, around 10 minutes walk. The town has everything you need from restaurants to bars, Farmacia, little boutique shops and beauty salons. The location is perfect and outside the city but only 20-30 minutes from Florence. I am defiantly coming back to this place.

A beautiful apartment with stunning views. Easy access to many beautiful places to visit such as San Gimignano, Florence and Sienna. The apartment was clean and comfortable with amenities as listed. The views from the communal terrace were stunning and there was plenty of space to sit without being on top of other guests. We would highly recommend.

What a brilliant stay we had here. Hidden away into the Tuscan countryside, with views as far as the eye can see. We wouldn't hesitate to come back to this stunning property. Very attentive hosts, we were greeted at check in and given a tour of the property. The building is shared with the owners, but the apartment has full privacy, with it's own outdoor seating area. The bedroom is a very good size with air conditioning, and it also has a kitchen and bathroom full of character. The gem for us was the infinity pool - all to ourselves and with views of the Tuscan countryside that you see in magazines and didn't quite believe existed. Well they do here. The property is within 10-15 minutes drive of various beautiful towns and villages. We would recommend the town of Vinci and the vineyard tour of Colle Adimari. Florence is 40 minutes roughly, Pisa even less. What more would you want.

We were Giovanna's guests for 2 nights and were able to perfectly round off our Tuscany trip. Giovanna welcomed us warmly, everything went smoothly and we could enjoy the sun by the pool. The property is fantastic, with a Hollywood-like view of the valley. We were able to enjoy the evenings on the terrace. The interior was sufficient for the stay. Giovanna was very accommodating and sweetened the end of our trip with her warm manner. If you are looking for a quiet retreat and yet close to the cities of Pisa, Lucca and Florence, you are in good hands in this accommodation. See you soon, Giovanna ☀️

Benedetta is an amazing and gracious host, the property was easy to locate and the room was beautiful, absolutely amazing Tuscan style with beautiful views and a private pool. She also recommended us a restaurant for dinner and that was one of the beat meals we had in Italy! 100% recommend

Anna was a fantastic host, who treated us with the upmost respect and kindness. While her place is a bit difficult to find at first, once you're there, you're in one of the most beautiful scenes we've seen during our time in Italy. Also, it was close enough that we were still early able to travel into Florence each day we were there. Anna was so nice in providing us with breakfast each morning, which included apricot jam from her fruit trees and homemade bread. We would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay outside of the busy city.

Rafaella's place was nothing short of amazing! We had such a great time her place had everything you could need and more. She and her husband were super responsive. My only wish is that I wish it was warmer so that we could have enjoyed their beautiful outdoor space more. They even gave our girls sweet easter eggs. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Susies AirBnb was a lovely place to stay at, I loved the wooden furniture in the apartment, the kitchen is just big enough, has everything that you need and in general the apartment is tidy and spotless. The surrounding area is very scenic, a very quiet place perfect for relaxing by the pool. Susie and her husband were very nice hosts, very friendly and happy to help out when we needed something. They also gave us recommendations for the area. Lari is definitely worth a visit for a walk around, ice cream(!) and food. The people we met in Lari were the friendliest we met on our vacation in Italy and we felt very comfortable.

The stay at Raisa's was incredibly beautiful. The accommodation and especially the view is much nicer than in the pictures. Raisa has gone to great lengths to make everything as pleasant as possible for us. The dogs (Saila and Yango) are mega cuddly, the pool is great and the entire property is really picturesque. Beautiful city trips etc. are easily doable by car and we would be happy to come back again sometime.

Incredible host. Incredible house. You feel like you are inside a postcard. The most beautiful views are all around you. We did not want to leave. Just breathtaking.

We can't imagine a more beautiful place to stay while we visited Chianti! The location is absolutely heavenly, and Emanuela's home is stunning. Everything was so comfortable, and our family particularly loved spending time outside and enjoying the pool. It's conveniently located for several Tuscan day trips, and there are many amazing wineries nearby. And the icing on the cake were Emanuela and Giovanni, who went above and beyond in helping us throughout our trip - from recommendations and help with reservations to having a few food items and coffee stocked for our first day's breakfast. Easily the best hosts we've ever enjoyed in our years staying in Airbnbs!

This is the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in! Great location for visiting Florence, Pisa, Lucca and many other beautiful towns & villages in Tuscany. You need a car to get about. The train station is only a 10 minute drive & it’s cheap & easy to get to the big cities. The property itself is very comfortable and peaceful. It is well equipped inside and out and, being on a hill, has great views of the surrounding countryside. The swimming pool is huge and amazing! The hosts who live in the adjoining house are very friendly, kind and considerate. We stayed here for just over three weeks & had the BEST holiday.

This is a wonderful setting: absolutely beautiful gardens full of roses (in May), stunning views, lots of sunny terraces and places to sit, and a lovely pool. The house itself is very well-equipped, and attractively furnished with antiques, and comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you could need. There are great places in easy reach, including Certaldo (take the funicular up, and we recommend the Fonte Antica restaurant), San Gimignano with its towers and allegedly the best ice cream in the world, and Colle Val d'Elsa. There is good train access from Castelfiorentino station to Siena, Florence. Arianna our host was very welcoming and helpful, and lives nearby for any queries. If en suite bathrooms are your thing (we don't particularly care), you might find the arrangements of bedrooms and bathrooms a bit unusual; only the room with two single beds is truly en suite, and the bedrooms in the basement share a bathroom with no door between the two bedrooms. But not a problem for us

Fabio’s house was absolutely wonderful! Janine was super helpful, and the place was so clean and comfortable. It fit our 2 large families easily! Thank you for letting us stay and relax and take in the gorgeous countryside!

We stayed in the villa for 3 weeks with my family (2 young kids) and it was absolutely perfect!!! Francesca was an incredible host, fantastic communication. The house itself was beautiful, clean and the pool was just magic. Close to Florence and all the wonderful towns nearby, we can’t recommend this place enough. Would stay again without hesitation.

I looked at dozens of other ABBs before choosing Giovanna's place and I know I made the best choice after staying. The setting is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Lounging at the pool was so nice. We had the pool all to ourselves which is hard to find with other ABBs. The home is a nice large space and very clean. The views out the window are great. Giovanna was so nice and welcoming just a wonderful person. We enjoyed having a drink with her and Luigi. I highly recommend her place.
