Waterfront holiday rentals in Sarasota County

My wife and I had a wonderful time here, everything was very clean and organized. We had everything we needed there nothing more, nothing less. The location to turn into the parking lot comes up fast so make sure to pay attention or you'll miss it. The beach is just across the street and a crosswalk is just a few steps away. We'd love to stay here again if we have the opportunity.

We can’t say enough good things about Dune Our Thing! We had the best stay and really fell in love with Siesta Key. The condo was beautiful, comfortable and impeccably clean and decorated. The view of the ocean was great and it was so nice to open the patio door and hear the ocean. We loved how easy it was to get from SRQ to this condo—very easy drive and great location. We actually really liked staying near turtle beach…it was more private and quiet than other areas and the beach access was simple and close—just a walk over the dune. Shell hunting was really great on this beach. We rented a car, but we also used the free trolley and the frog hop service when we didn’t feel like parking. I can’t say enough good things about our host—they were so helpful and had our place stocked with holiday goodies and a welcome gift for our 4-year old son. We will be back, and likely to stay in this same place again. Thank you so much, we highly recommend!!

I visit Sarasota every year and stay each time at a new place. This year I wanted to do something closer to the beach and Siesta Village. Matt’s spot was perfectly located for this due to being so close to the beach and every night we walked to the village for dinner/nightlife which was about 15 minutes walking distance. Overall a great place for 1-4 people if you’re looking for a nice chill vacation.

Beautifully renovated apartment, great kitchen and lovely view of the lake. Very pleased with the interior of this place and we could certainly feel the love that had been poured into making a clean and modern environment. Thanks for being accommodating with our schedule and responding so quickly, the personal call was really appreciated.

A wonderful stay in Siesta Key, great location - could walk to the beach or a short drive with free parking. We felt right at home here. We would recommend this stay and would consider booking here again :)

We loved our stay here. The place was well wiped for the beach and plenty of towels. We enjoyed the beach, the pool, and used the hopper to go eat yummy seafood. Elvis communicated quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

This will be my favorite. Definitely looking to be book again . Deserves more the 5 stars

Marko’s family home was beautiful, charming, and spotlessly clean. The home is perfectly located, walkable to beautiful beaches and great restaurants and shops, including the market. Marko was extremely hospitable, ensured we were all set and gave wonderful recommendations. We loved this place and will be back again next year. Thank you!

Absolutely loved Molly's place it really was an oasis in a beautiful setting in a very peaceful area. Molly was so friendly and made the whole process from check in to leaving just so easy. Molly was also very attentive during our stay and answered our questions promptly as well as giving great recommendations and advice about places to visit in the area. The property was just as advertised, but you had to really experience the wonderful pool in person to appreciate the amazing views across the water as well as the incredible wildlife from both the pool and the secluded sun patio. Every amenity was catered for and there were plenty of beach supplies (chairs/umbrella etc) for a day at one of the local beaches. We loved North Jetty Beach, plenty to see with the boats and persons fishing off the jetty. The property is nicely located for trips further afield to Sarasota area / Siesta Keys etc. If you are looking for your own pi ece of paradise then choose Molly's place.

We loved this home. It was perfect for what we needed. There were 6 adults in 4 bedrooms. We were there for my brother's wedding on Lido Beach. Vicki was AMAZING! Even before I booked her place, she was quick to respond to my questions. I had lots of them. She was very patient. Staying at her place felt like home. Everything we needed was there. The 4 other adults agreed. We liked it so much that we are already asking Vicki about her other properties. We will definitely book with her again. Truly, I can't say enough good about our stay and about Vicki. She is a true Super Host!

I stayed here with my wife brother and sister in law while visiting grandparents. We loved the house! Very well stocked with stuff for the beach. Loved the canal in the back. And it was very useful to be able to take advantage of the washer and dryer. Overall great place to stay! 10/10 recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kristy’s house in Venice. Very responsive. You won’t regret staying here!

Stayed here for the national rowing competition for one week. The place is lovely - very clean, the complex is nice & the pool is great. It was a perfect location for us - halfway between the race course where we needed to be every day and close to downtown. The beach wasn’t far either and I liked the location and the complex very much. We felt safe and it was pretty quiet and peaceful. The owner is responsive and detail oriented with how to check in, get into the unit, etc. I would stay here again.

If you’re looking for the perfect Airbnb for fishermen and vacationers are alike, this is it. This Home is elegant and extremely clean. The host are responsive and so sweet and kind. It has everything you can need , and it’s in the perfect location. We loved relaxing and watching the rain in the Florida room. We really enjoyed all the nature outside and fishing from the dock so many memories were made with our family here.

5 stars for the location and proximity to everything Sarasota has to offer. The hot / cold water cooler and teas and coffee was nice to have. There’s room for improvement, ie front door and lanai couches but great find overall.

We had a very good time at Siesta Key and enjoyed our time at Maureen's place. The building is older, the amenities are well maintained and the condo itself is well cared for. I did find some mystery stains on the mattress and the decorative pillows in my room, but I'm guessing they are just spills that were difficult to get out. More importantly, the boat dock is usable, albeit with some difficulty if the boat is larger than 22 feet or so. We figured out on the second day that the best way to dock was parallel to the intracoastal between the posts and to tie off with lines on either side of the stern and with a single line on the bow. I would check ahead to make sure the dock is available, but we had no other boats docked there on a holiday weekend. The private beach access was a lifesaver on a holiday weekend, despite the short walk required to get there. Having both intracoastal and beach access is the biggest value of the place in my opinion.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sarasota. Kyle was an amazing host. Throughout the stay, he checked in on us multiple times through text to ensure that my family including two young children were well taken care of. It was great to know that I did not need to bring any extra baby gear like a crib, highchair, children dishes and toys since it was already provided at no extra charge. The walk to the beach was short and had a relaxing view, my three-year-old even spotted a tortoise one evening on the path. The condo was clean, comfortable, and close to a lively little street with all kinds of restaurants and shops. Overall we had a great time and wished we stay another day or two!

We loooved it here! The space was perfect for our family. I cooked several meals and the kitchen had everything I needed. The location was convenient to grocery stores and walking distance to local restaurants and ice cream shops. The trolley stop is right at the resort so very convenient free rides to downtown Siesta Key was one of the highlights of our trip. We also grilled in the back of the resort by the bay which was nice! Oak trees all around. The pool was perfect temp. The fob didn’t work for one of the gates but there were three others we were able to get in without issue. The beds and pillows were soooo comfy. The ONLY issue we had was from the pics on the original post it appeared the walk to the closest public beach access was 2 min but it was actually 15. In the Florida heat that was rough but we pushed through! Oh and last thing, the scooters were a hit with everyone in our family. So much fun! 😆 Thank you so much for giving us an amazing stay!!

My daughter and I stayed for a mother daughter girls trip and had a blast! They made sure to take care of every little detail to make you feel comfortable and at home. Even checking in and making sure we made it ok. It was very clean and the location was amazing. Easy to get around on the trolly if we didn't want to drive and literally steps away from the beautiful white sand and clear turquoise beach. Do yourself a favor and book the trip!

We had a beautiful week at Martha’s condo!! We loved everything about it- spotlessly clean and well decorated, well stocked with towels, blankets, paper goods, kitchen items, beach gear… everything you could possibly be in need of. The view from the balcony is wonderful for relaxing and watching the beautiful sunset. The condo building and amenities were wonderful as well. The pool area was never crowded, many loungers, and a perfectly heated pool and hot tub. We found the location to be absolutely perfect- off a main road that takes you to downtown and beaches but tucked away and quiet. You can walk to downtown restaurants and shops and we even walked over the Lido Key bridge one evening to St. Armand’s Circle. Downtown Sarasota, beautiful Lido Key beach and St Armand’s Circle are all a quick 5-7 min car ride away. Martha was an excellent host, checked in on us and was responsive to anything we needed. We would return anytime without hesitation!! Just wonderful! Thankyou Martha!

Great condo in a private area along the canal . Loved sitting on the balcony and it was a quick trip to get to Saint Armand Circle, Lido Beach in Siesta Key very convenient location made it easy to go anywhere
