Our stay has been amazing! The host is very welcoming and helpful. The property is clean, very well decorated and furnished. The location in the city center is very convenient. You can leave the car in the garage and enjoy walking through the city. We loved it a lot.!

Upon arriving we were immediately breathtaken by the view at the sea of Monopoli and the city itself. Our hosts were extremely kind and showed us around the huge place. There is a big terrace outside next to the appartement, but the true star of this location has to be the pool area. There is another place to sit in sofas there and the pool itself is really big as well. It's quite an experience swimming there with such view, in a daily-cleaned pool. Everything on the outside makes you almost forget that the inside is also impeccable, this is truly a great place to stay! Another mention has to go the house cat, who also gave us good company.

Allison goes above and beyond. Fully stocked kitchen with fresh eggs ,fruit and wine.Anna brought us fresh pastries every morning, removed trash and changed and refreshed our bedrooms and bathrooms . The King beds and rooms are spacious and comfortable and the exterior has every amenity. Every detail has been thought through. Do not miss the opportunity to stay in this beautifully appointed vacation home.

Despite an arrival disrupted by a power outage due to a storm, everything has been done to restore the situation as soon as possible... Great accommodation, totally isolated and unusual!! Small downside, it may be a few basics for cooking: salt, pepper, oil,etc.

We had a lovely stay at Francesco’s house. It is in a beautiful peaceful location in the countryside but still only a short drive to Monopoli. The garden and the fantastic pool area are a big highlight. The house was spotlessly clean and Francesco’s communication and responsiveness was excellent.

Perfect place for a family. We had just 4 nights at Leo’s place and we were not disappointed. He returned messages promptly and any questions he responded with the correct information. On arrival the check-in was pretty simple. Automated pedestrian and vehicle gates. And once inside we were very pleased with the house. All pictures are correct and we half knew what to expect. It was also good to put our three boys downstairs while we had the upstairs room. Although one room downstairs wasn’t a proper room, it didn’t affect the boys at all. And there were two bathrooms downstairs to look after the three bedrooms. There was clean bedding, towels and also plenty of pool towels too - along with a football for the small astroturf 2 minutes walk away. The kitchen was stocked well with tea, paper towels, clingfilm, foil, sugar, bin bags and there was filtered water from the tap. There was also a great bean to cup coffee machine with milk frother - so great for morning coffees on the veranda.

This lovely apartment in the historical center of Matera is architectural jewel. Ancient house in stone is beautifully renovated. And I could make myself a great Italian coffee from the machine. The host was very kind and helpful.

Stayed for 1 night whilst visiting Matera for the Giro d’Italia. Beautiful location, lovely property. Super helpful, providing free or paid parking options within walking distance. Fresh breakfast delivery in the morning was lovely. Beds & pillows super comfy & all other facilities a great standard. 100% would stay here again.

we were very well received with early check-in by Mr. Pino extremely kind and decidedly very detailed in the explanations of the place we had underestimated but that we were useful in our stay in Matera. The area is quiet but to get to the center it is better to get around by car. The apartment is fairly new, super clean and very cool despite the high outdoor temperatures. They also left us everything we needed for breakfast. Overall a great experience, thank you so much!

Salvatore is amazing. He went out of his way to organise our parking and help us move into his apartment. The apartment itself is very tidy and clean with majestic views of the old town of Matera. So very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay in this stunning and unusual time and being welcomed by such a friendly and helpful host really made the difference.

This is a great place to stay to check out the whole of the old town of Matera. One bedroom is fabulous, the kitchen is very well equipped and the bathrooms are fine. The second bedroom could do with some more furniture - a small table, bedside lights etc. if there are two of you one of you will get a much shorter straw (we flipped a coin)!

We loved Mikaela’s place, really a gem. She sent a video to help us find it, which worked beautifully. Wandering the old town was amazing, especially in the early evening light. We loved learning our way around, and figuring out the different ways to the apartment. The beds were comfy and we loved the bathroom. We also loved the terrace and enjoyed coffee and breakfast on it, really loving the view.

Angelo welcomed us very warmly, he told us that to see in matera and we had welcome food which is very appreciated. There is an outside to park the car and we enjoyed having breakfast on the quiet terrace, and the barbecue was very nice. Only downside no freezer for ice cubes but overall the apartment was well arranged. I would recommend it 100% Thanks to angelo.

Chiara's apartment is ideally located for visiting Matera and is spacious, very clean and complete with everything you need. It also has a very pleasant outdoor space. Chiara also provides a hearty breakfast! Highly recommended!

The location of Flavia's place is incredible and the space itself- wow! To stay in an actual cave is a step back in time, very special. It's spacious and everything was perfect. Flavia was the perfect host, responding quickly to everything we needed, providing local information and more. If you're coming to Matera, you need to stay in this special cave home.

Very central in Sassi Caveosa. You can walk to anything. Nice place in traditional house with high ceilings and small cave for bedroom. There are no doors between the living room/room and loft, so you can hear each other if you are going. In October, there was no nuisance from noise from the restaurants as others have described. Nice place to be.

This apartment in Matera is at the highest point in the town. The rooftop views were amazing at night. The beds and bedrooms were very spacious. The room with the sofa bed does not have a door to the bathroom, but it is up the stairs and mostly private. The walk to the apartment is about 8-10 minutes from the parking area. Only the last 50 meters or so are steps, but it is pretty steep. Great communication from the host.

What more could we have asked for in a romantic weekend getaway?! Marilisa and Raffaele are amazing hosts who had everything prepared for our arrival. They were extremely helpful and attentive to our needs and wants. Located about 30 minutes away from Matera and about 50 minutes from Taranto, Laterza is the perfect mid point for a mountain/beach weekend. If you don’t want to travel much outside the area, Laterza itself is a beautiful city to soak in as well. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay here again!!!

Good apartment, I felt very comfortable and it is what I expected and I had imagined it, it met my expectations and I recommend it without a doubt. Parking is a plus!!
