Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Savannah

Great little apartment in a good neighborhood. The hosts are very communicative and eager to share local recommendations. Decent bed (a little firm for us), very clean, and the kitchen has everything you need. Extra bonus of a free washer and dryer just outside the apartment door. Would absolutely recommend. Our only feedback is that there is a bit too much furniture in the living room making trips to the bathroom (or anywhere) a little awkward from the bedroom.

We had a wonderful stay here! Beautiful place and the location is perfect. Everything you need is in walking distance. We parked our car when we got there and didn't move it until check out. Matt and Bonnie were excellent hosts and provided us with plenty of information to make the most of our stay.

We are very thankful to have came across this beautiful cottage for our vacation. It was everything we imagined and more. When we arrived there was music playing, wine, a sweet note, and a cake was left to greet us upon our arrival for our anniversary. It was full of all the amenities all the way down to Apple Watch chargers on each side of the bed (something I forgot to pack). Anything you may forget, Kimberly most likely has it in the cottage for you already. The beach chairs were great to take to the beach! (as we also had forgot ours) Everything was thoughtfully decorated and stocked. I loved the front porch area for my morning reading and coffee. It’s nestled on a quiet street just a short drive to Savannah and Tybee Island. Communication was amazing. We didn’t have any questions during our stay, but from the prior communication and check in, I was sure Kimberly was just a text away. We felt at home and safe at Penrose Cottage. We hope one day to be able to come back!

Beautiful space. Great location. Clean, easy to navigate stairs, lots of lights inside. Ceiling fans are GREAT! The bathroom is fine but it is small if one is large and round. Joyce was very helpful. QUIET and PEACEFUL which is the best when you are a country mouse that has very little noise in their home life. (no noise from traffic, music, sirens, people). Greatly appreciated the quiet. Kroger close by

Beautiful home! Nice neighborhood. A really good in between spot for the beach and downtown Savannah. House is fully stocked with all of the supplies you could need. 10/10.

We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We visited with our Son and Daughter in law, and twin grandsons and the home was perfect. The toys at the house were a hit with our 20 month old grandsons! Thank you so much.

This Airbnb is hands down the best we've ever stayed at! It felt just like home with everything we needed and more. The aesthetic was amazing, and the location was perfect—only 25 minutes from Tybee Island and a few minutes to downtown. The price point was spot on. I would recommend this place over and over again. The hosts were incredibly helpful without being overbearing. A truly fantastic experience!

We stayed here with our 2 children and it was perfect for us. The home looked just like the pictures. The river was really great to walk and good restaurants just across the street! The home was clean and had all the cookware for us to make our own meals during our stay! Will save this place for future visits.

This unit was in a great location- so easy to get to River Street and City Market. It was clean and decorated so nicely! We felt right at home and our hosts were even kind enough to leave laundry soap for a mid visit load of laundry. Great communication prior to our trip made check in easy. Thank you! Perfect little place for 2 people. We went down 3 days for our Anniversary, and everything we wanted to do in Savannah was within walking distance. Also, Tybee Island was just a 30 min drive down the road so it was close to the beach as well. Diana was quick to respond to messages and gave us some recommendations for things to do while we were there. Thanks for a nice little getaway. Hopefully we can come back and stay again in the future.

What a lovely spot! I really enjoyed my stay here. Close to everything but away from the super touristy commercial part of Savannah. Lovely high ceilings and lots of light in the apartment. I would stay here again for sure!

We really enjoyed this spot, we booked last minute (day of) and were lucky to find such a good place. Everything was as described, the place was very clean, really nicely decorated, had everything we needed. The location is great, it’s quiet and next to a park but very walkable to parks, restaurants, the river walk, etc. Parking was easy. Sarah was very accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage for a few hours after checkout which was a great help. If I come back to Savannah I’ll definitely keep this place in mind. It’s on 3rd floor with stairs only, which is mentioned multiple times in the listing and was not an issue for us, but just be aware!

Home away from home. Close to everything, neighborhood was quiet with a basketball court across the street nothing like some street ball 😊. I was uber excited when I looked out my window and saw the horse and carriage walking by, the shared space in the back is perfect with awesome music playing. I could go on and on just go stay and find out for yourself. Great vacation

The space was beautiful and so centrally located!! We were right next to many restaurants and shops and within easy walking distance of plenty more. Everything was clean and they even left snacks for us.

Loved the Tree Top! One block from the park. Beautiful renovated old historic home. High ceilings, wood floors, just beautiful. Very comfortable bed. Can’t say enough. Great communication. Parking on the property is priceless! Wonderful stay. Thanks!

We loved the location, 5 minute walk to Forsyth Park which had an awesome farmers market on Saturday morning, coffee shops, grocery store and restaurants. Also close to the Dot stop for free transportation to other attractions. Brendan went out of his way to make sure our sleeping arrangements were extra comfortable, and we appreciated this so much. It was great to come home to the perfect little pool after exploring in Savannah's heat! We highly recommend this location!

This place is beautiful! Did a couples trip to Savannah with my fiancé and our married friends and the home was beyond beautiful. The bedrooms are very spacious, beds are huge and very comfortable, living room is cozy and the bathroom is spacious with an even more spacious shower! Attached to the second bedroom is a mini balcony with steps that lead down to some cute chairs to sit outside as well. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of cups, bowls, plates, and silverware along with filtered water in the fridge. We have all mutually agreed that we would live in a place like this home, it’s so beautiful! Sarah is also very responsive and kind! I cannot recommend this home enough for your stay!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The space was as good as it looked , the view up and down the river was very entertaining and parking was a breeze. The location is great for simply walking out the door and exploring Savannah on foot as there are great restaurants, museums and beautiful historic squares in abundance. Well worth it! Thank you!

We had a truly wonderful Memorial Day weekend stay at Sarah and Michael's Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and excellent facilities. The location was ideal for exploring, offering a quick and scenic five-minute walk to Forsyth Park in a truly charming neighborhood. The house was not only well-equipped with all the essentials, but the thoughtful addition of board games, like the Cranium set we enjoyed with our friends, made our evenings even more memorable. This beautiful and meticulously maintained home was undoubtedly a highlight of our trip. We would absolutely choose to stay here again on our next visit!

We had a very nice stay. Location is great as far as being able to walk to what we wanted to do. Unit is very clean and well stocked and we appreciated the coffee! As others have noted it is on a very noisy street. But we had read the reviews and packed earplugs so sleep was not an issue.

Perfect location to stay in Savannah, wonderful porch, have everything you need, and super comfortable. Highly recommend and would stay again. Thanks!
